[0:00] in this video we're going to talk about [0:01] how to install FFM Peg on Windows and [0:03] also how to add the path of FFM Peg to [0:06] environment variables in Windows and as [0:08] you know there are some packages in [0:10] Python programing language for example [0:12] that you need FFM Peg for those packages [0:15] so first of all you should search for [0:16] FFM Peg on Google and then you can see [0:19] FFM Peg website so you should click on [0:21] it and once I'm here you can see the [0:24] download button so I click on it and [0:26] here I should just scroll down and [0:28] because I'm using Windows I want to [0:30] install FFM Peg for Windows so I hover [0:32] my mouse over the windows logo and now [0:35] you can see we have two uh possible [0:38] things in order to click on so I would [0:40] click on this one Windows built by BBN [0:44] so I click on it so here I should just [0:46] scroll down and because I'm using [0:48] Windows so as you can see I should use [0:49] one of these ones which is for Windows [0:53] and uh I want to use this one windows 64 [0:56] GPL and I suggest you doing so so I [0:59] would click on this link and now I [1:01] should wait for the download [1:04] process so as you can see the download [1:07] has been finished so here is the file [1:09] which I have downloaded so I click on it [1:11] and I press crl X on my keyboard in [1:13] order to cut this file and then I go to [1:17] this PC and and then I go to C drive and [1:21] here I should uh create a new folder so [1:24] I want to create a new folder and I call [1:26] it [1:28] ffmpeg FFM Peg the name is totally [1:31] arbitrary you can choose whatever name [1:33] you want but I want to choose this name [1:35] FFM Peg that's it so I open this folder [1:38] and I paste the file which I have cut in [1:42] this [1:43] path then I need to extract this file so [1:46] I right click and extract [1:49] here so I don't need this file anymore [1:52] so I delete it and also here I should [1:54] open this folder so I double click on it [1:56] in order to open this file and go to bin [1:58] folder and also I select all of these [2:00] and I press contrl X on my keyboard in [2:03] order to cut these files and I go to [2:06] this FFM Peg folder and I paste those [2:09] files in this path and I don't need this [2:13] folder anymore so I'm going to delete [2:15] this one as well that's it okay now we [2:18] need to introduce this path to Windows [2:21] because in that case windows can [2:23] understand that this is the path of our [2:25] FFM Peg files so in order to do so I [2:28] click on this and I copy [2:30] this path and now I should click on the [2:32] Windows key on my keyboard and in the [2:34] search of Windows I simply type [2:36] something like this and as you can see [2:38] it shows me this one edit the system [2:40] environment variables so I click on it [2:42] and here as you can see we have an [2:43] option called environment variables so I [2:45] click on it and then you can see one of [2:48] them is path so I double click on it and [2:51] you can see a window like this will be [2:53] opened so now you should click on new [2:55] because you want to add a path to this [2:58] environment variable s so I click on [3:01] this and I paste the path which I copied [3:04] before that's it and I press enter and [3:07] then I press okay and once again I press [3:09] okay and once again I press okay so now [3:11] let's verify that we have installed FFM [3:13] Peg correctly in order to do so we [3:15] should press the Windows key on your [3:17] keyboard and here we should search for [3:19] something like this and as you can see [3:20] as soon as you search some letters this [3:23] command prompt will show up so you [3:24] should click on it and here you should [3:26] type FFM Peg and you should press enter [3:30] and as you can see I see all of these [3:32] options it means that FFM Peg has been [3:34] installed correctly
