## Transcript

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, I'm John the Suspender, your true nerd, and welcome back to Fallout 3 The Worst Wanderer. Well, it's time we wrapped up our preparations for Operation Anchorage, meaning today we're going in.
Because, highly conveniently, the entrance to this next expansion is actually pretty near Boy to Megatron. Okay, no more messing about, no more preparations. We're getting straight into the main business of the day, which is, yeah, step out.
take a right and start heading southwards. Though on the way there is just one stop I do want to make. Excuse me, Mr. Shine, Mr. Random Raider.
Come on, you're on by the loose, you little... good, good, good. Yeah, about two thirds of the way down towards my destination there's a bridge with a trader on it and...
Okay, for some reason this guy is sitting on basically the most invaluable inventory between these tiny gangs. Keep your fist of the guy, who doesn't even have a name, and his two dogs, they're actually sitting on, yes, three different flipping skill-boxes.
Frankly though, he's not actually willing to sell them, because you would be there like his bedtime reading or something. As a result of that, I am really sorry, good sir, but yes, if you wouldn't mind just standing still for just a split second.
Right, that's you, Skag. That's your dog, Dead. That's other dog, Dead. Two Jaws are done on my skill book now. Seriously though, Sneak plus one, and then Explosives plus one, and finally Melee Weapons plus one.
That's a good bloody selection. And I would say, look at that, my stats are actually starting to look okay right now. But yes, let's just say once we get inside Anchorage, things might change a bit.
once I like to know, lose all my lovely sexy armour and all this good stuff here. Anyway, couple of hundred metres further south and here we flippy go. We get to, yes, the collapsed metro station, and the door to the Baileys Crossroads Metro and...
Okay. Step one, we need to pass the entrance exam that is specifically designed to stop level one characters characters from beginning the DLC too early. Because yes, while you can begin any DLC whenever
you want to on a Fallout 3, the game just possesses mechanisms to try and disincentivise you from doing it too flipping early. So in the case of the Pixar, yes, they deliberately put the entrance right up here in the top left of the map, which is not going to be
where you're going at a low level, it's quite a difficult to navigate and dangerous area. In the case of Anchorage, though, you're searching just opposite the Red Racer factory, very nearby to various low-level areas, so as a result of that, yeah, the entrance exam here is a little bit different.
Cleverly, I need to make it through a big crossroads in order to make it to, like, the entrance to the DLC. The issue being, yes, this area is populated by mutants and, as we've seen previously, even with all my various tricks and bits and pieces, mutants are tanky bastards.
That's how the game's trying to disincentivise me from actually coming this way. However, I could brute force my way past those with the ball of drugs etc etc. All the tools that are going to be taken away from me the moment I don't anchor it.
So, yes, this is what makes Anchorage interesting, to my mind. The fact that basically all the powerful toys I've been gathering don't really fit me in the work anymore. Still, there at minimum I do have, yes, some reinforcements here, a handful of Brotherhood Labs,
and I want to keep these guys alive as far as I can alright, support them because the longer they live, the better just stand still please, stand still, thank you very very much indeed
yeah, if you guys can stay alive, hopefully don't accidentally kick the bloody... yeah, actual brother... oh! oof! I hit the brotherhood, I might have hit the brotherhood slightly please don't die, just keep distracting them for as long as possible
I am for a Viking cover fire, not for like a gun or anything, but you know, the principle is the same. Honestly if I could just keep these guys alive, yeah, that would be ideal. Because luckily they've got some pretty good weapons here.
Like you know, a scaffolding laser, a mini gun, etc, etc. And yeah, the enemies are mostly ODF. There's not much I can do for that guy, good luck with him. So okay, do I want to push that man?
Honestly, not really, but... You know what? I'm just gonna have to fall back and wait for you guys to take care of this. Good luck, basically! If you guys could just punch your way through this for me, that would be ideal!
Oh, there is a brute up there with a mini gun, though. If I could just get up there to support, that would be ideal. How do you get up there? It's been a while since I've done this. Okay, hang on, I do see some stairs.
I see some stairs up. I'm going to put that to you. Please don't shoot at me. That's why I shoot at the brother. That's really the real problem here. So... Okay, hang on now. You're going this way. How the bloody hell do you get up stairs over here?
Okay, everything's fine. Don't worry about it. It's possible I may be able to just leave those guys behind and they'll hook it right to the flipping end. Like, no one said they had to survive or anything. Keep your eye on the ceiling and there we go. That's the outpost. Right.
We made it through pretty easily, actually, yeah. So, right, just leave those guys behind. We don't care about them anymore. Instead of weapons away, activate switch,
and down we go into, yes, the real nightmare. Who the hell are you, and what do you think you're doing? Okay, I do appreciate I just tried to invade your base,
but I bet I could be useful, because, yes, long story short, They need someone to go into a simulation of pre-war Anchorage. The problem being the person doing so needs a Pip-Boy.
That's part of the process. These guys don't have a Pip-Boy, and I do. Meaning, I can complete the simulation for you. Which they want me to do, because, yes, the simulation completing is the only way to unlock the vault they're trying to get into.
Before we hop into the VR pod, though, yes, one very fun thing to note. which means that if you just crack open the terminal elsewhere in the bunker here, the people who built this pre-war duke and firm, it is completely divorced from reality.
General Chinch keeps changing it over and over again. So basically we're playing like, I don't know, possibly pre-war propaganda, or just the false memories of someone who was going a bit banal. So as a result of that, yeah, today we're basically going to be playing a computer game.
One of these is funnily enough a slightly different genre to Fallout 3 so would. Ok, let's jump on in and I'll explain why this is an absolute cocky nightmare for Mario.
Hey, hey, wake up. Come on, snap out of it. I was a hell of a nasty boy. When your chute flushed up like that I thought you were gone.
I hope the other guys make it. I don't think there's a troll spot in this company. So at least we still have a jumper. We still have your gear. So I'm going to let you make the call. You can go in quiet, or gun-braking.
We still need to run from the enemy side of this plane. Then we'll blow those artillery guns to hell. Just watch it. We're going to stop you from coming down. Good luck.
And here we could be. go we are now officially in Entry Jam 2. Oh bloody hell, as I say, things just changed, like, a lot.
Number one, say goodbye to all of your gear, and also all of your drugs, and basically everything that's not a flippy quest item. So I do get to keep Lucy's new envelope, and also a slave collar.
Without my equipment, my skills are now looking a lot worse as well, because yes, my apparel whilst doing a lot of bloody heavy lifting. Though, on the plus side, yeah, skills don't really do much in Operation Anchorage anyway,
because while Fallout 3 is, you know, a hybrid action RPG type of thing, yeah, Operation Anchorage is basically much more of a straight-up shooter. Your options are shoot everyone,
or sneak past everyone. Sneaking is not really in my wheelhouse, to be honest, and unfortunately, neither is shooting, So, yeah, this is why the CLT worries me a bit.
On the plus side, though, yeah, one nice thing about Operation Anchorage equipment is that condition is basically not really a thing anymore. Because, you know, repair isn't a thing anymore. So, yeah, I've got equipment in a pretty bloody good condition,
and it's also pretty damn solid. Like a 32GR, it's not bad at all. Plus, as I was saying previously, you can't take my perks away. So Superior Defender is providing a lot of benefits as well, for both my damage resistance and also my damage.
So yeah, this pistol may look a bit on the weak side, but I'm doing a lot more damage than it actually says there, assuming I remember to hold still and don't panic and run away. So just a multi-forward, and yeah, it's going to be Baby Zephyr to tutorial enemy at the end.
It's going to be a soldier facing away from me. Problem being, yeah, well I suppose if you take, you could sneak up on the sky. I'm guessing for me that's not really going to work. Oh dear, I don't love that.
Okay, quite shy, if I sneak up on the sky. It was definitely a moment of our, yeah, caution, but it seemed to just flicker.
Okay, just go for him and yeah, just hold still and... Oh bloody hell, okay. That's not great. I'm going to go for his gun.
Maybe we can just knock the gun. Can you even knock guns? How could the hands of enemies? Okay, you know what? That wasn't so bad but it was also one enemy and I've lost like you know a bit of health already
and there's more enemies who are going to be coming to investigate at some point problem being I can have his rifle off him because yeah he the force we playing a video game here On top of that this is how you living a heel inside this deal so
you go up to a health dispenser and that pops up your house. Meaning, until I can get to the next health dispenser, yeah, all I can do is really fall back to this one, which is fine, I guess, but...
Ok, just cut some corners for you, good, good, good, good Yeah, just use the corners when I can, I can just lure you round here by yourself
That would be fine, yeah you're coming, you're coming just hide around the rocks over here Wait for it to get right up to me Yes I can just go through, ok that's not bad, that's not bad at all
I'm in danger, another person is coming, but yet he's so intently advised to the health dispensers. That's not that all being considered, though. Don't attack against one individual soldier that time.
But right now they're just sort of being, you know, forced into a line by success. That's not necessarily going to save the text. Eventually you've got to push forward away from,
Jorna, before you leave the health dispenser, use the damn thing! Alright, there's no reason not to use the damn thing! There we go! So yeah, basically what I'm doing is trying to get from one health dispenser to the next.
And I'm one of those few guys ignoring to an extent all incoming damage. Which is not bad at all things considered. There's one other thing I need as well which is, yeah, partly the entire reason I...
Someone around here is also aware of me. Partly the entire reason I wanted to do this. Which is yeah, there's a special perch you can get in here.
The equivalent to, you know, the special unique pip perch. but the one from Anchorage it gives you focus, skill points and, you know, some of them in particular would be very useful for the use of the...
The question is, or don't want... Never mind, I'm so sorry, I thought you were on like, you know, a high platform. Just hold perfectly still and... and
and consider the ammo a job that is a thing, yes ok Dan right next to this guy Dan right next, please don't, please don't walk away from it please don't step away
so, um at this point we've just got a knife because you can't pick ammo up off corpses that sort of thing Because, yeah, his dog goes de-spawn and he can't search it even before he de-spawns, but...
Well, that's my health, darling. Good, good, good, good. And yeah, these boxes are decorations to us, but I'm pretty sure there is a health pop-up coming up as well. Because, yeah, the problem with being a very bloody O-Tank of us is that if you're glowing red, you can interact with her.
So that's a lot more flipping ammo and also a much faster fire rate, which really works for me. And yes, you've got ammo dispensers, a couple of bright mines and grenades are pretty good too. So OK.
We've made it past, yes, that first flipping night man's action. Now we need to move on. And I see you and I see you.
The problem is that the... The problem John is you can't rest in a bed. You can rest in that bed but you really shouldn't have started this fight.
Starting this fight was a mistake. Right so now this guy's here. I'm going to suggest he goes for the most accurate shot we've got. We still get him.
Yeah while holding still he's currently frozen. Shoot it, shoot it, shoot it! Keep shooting, keep shooting! Oh bloody hell, bloody hell, bloody hell! I'm about to die and I can't do Simpacks, that's not a thing so..
Ok we, no no! bad point for reloads, bad point for reloads, bad point for... It's still in danger because there is more of them because this is just a bloody shooter So OK, just reload quickly wherever it's come around the corner
and then just blast them in the hand Right, here we go! a generic soldier, oh bloody hell 70% in the patch, well we're gonna be good for it anyway, not bad
okay, so welcome to Anchorage, well yeah you just can't, never mind it does no bed so I can't use that one so yeah, decently weapons are the infinite condition, you don't need to worry about that
the ammo in a house are answered out as pre-designated points so I'm trying to remember where the next house thing is I should have memorized that before I started this but I didn't
I think I've almost made it to the next one so yeah just close the arms if I'm making a mistake I'll have to you know
nip back down to the bottom and top up the house there I think there's another one somewhere around here that was from a thing it was a glowing red glowing red is yours
that's a self point it's a good emergency tool if I get stuck somewhere also hang on there's two soldiers oh bloody hell there's two soldiers camping
where the bloody hell's top up thing is back there I've forgotten you guys spawned behind me Oh good, I've got no house and the only... uh oh, uh oh, hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on
It's a nightmare, absolute cocky nightmare. I can't go back, I've got no choice but to just go forward
I can't sneak, I can't heal, and they have no bloody choice but to use a stealth boy just to knock cocky die I hope I'm gonna see you there Bubba
I don't think they're seeing me If you're facing away so that would be good. Could I just have
a little help top up please? I'd really appreciate that I'm not seeing it, as an accomplice has I think you'd move the steps with like civil fray, aye?
Never mind. There's so much red on the top of the head. Right, just move forward and... You've got no... One hit point.
Right, just... If I'm a lunky, we could just... Right, well that's me dead. OK, this is somewhat embarrassing, but, um...
Sometime later, I've realised there's another health thing I forgot about. The only reason I spotted it was because there was a glint of red in the distance when I was looking back down at those guys
So I genuinely thought what I had to do now was take them out to get to the house thingy But no, there's a house thingy right here next to the high ground if you just go the wrong way first That also needs two sniper rifles
So that's very important, it also explains why these guys are here They're introducing, you know, the fact that Snow-T's not a show So okay, time for a rematch against those losers up on the high ground.
So yeah, what I want is for one of you to just jump down the cliff so I can headshot you with the Chinese assault rifle, leaving just one behind.
Because if we get lucky, that's, yeah, a one or a two shot. So here we go, here we go, here we go. This is precisely what I wanted to say. So yeah, get over here. And there we go.
One in the head, down you go, there's one up above But yeah, that did need a crit, if it wasn't a crit that's not gonna work You two, you're not coming down are you? Okay, that's fine, I've got plenty of health for now so I appreciate your shooting me
Yes, I get that, that's fine, don't worry about it since... Almost dead again, good, good, good, good, we're off to a good start here No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no Manual is fine as well. Manual shooting is a-okay.
So okay. I need to get right up to people in order to actually, you know, test them. But if I do that I'm going to take a lot of slipping damage. So, oh this is, this is looking great.
I'm just going to go back to the health top up before I go into the cave. Okay, we're back to woods. Step inside a recent chair bar.
Put that by something else. Okay. Step one, need to catch up with Sergeant Montgomery. I feel like there's going to be more trouble first.
Don't worry, that's just one of my colleagues being shot. no trouble for them there's no way to save them now how many enemies are we looking at in a year?
someone just shot that guy I'm just going to take a few shots at you which means just do a wonderful round for your dead and you've come to investigate you don't know where I am so
okay no no no no no no no no no no no no dead take a full round to kill someone don't love that You want to make sure you let that guy die, because he will literally drop an incredibly powerful gun.
Okay, there's a health top up here and a whole bunch of ammo for ya, MacGyver. And also a backup in case you missed the previous Chinese assault rifle, grenade-secured, mine-secured,
honestly, closest might be a shorter long-range option for me. So yeah, the weird thing is that for me of course, yeah, the clipping door's rifle, though it does a lot of damage per hit, because I gain bonus damage per every individual attack, the Chinese assault rifle is probably better.
and the sway on this thing is not ideal either. Like for a point blank range of that shot in the head honestly even then the Chinese assault rifle might be better thanks to its superior defender So yeah we going to be sticking with that for now Okay
Slow and steady. If I didn't drop the tank summer one at a time, that's ideal. You stand on the left. See you over there, my friend. Just, yeah, up here.
Before we go to culture, that would be a nice deal. So yeah, these bots are doing good work for me. Yeah, I'm going to do a here. Speak up right to you, close them to get you a good shot in the head.
Let me close that. Not ideal, but it'll do. And most importantly, I'm pretty sure in just a second, roundish here. Yeah.
Taken out a bunch of enemies. and now if we just explore this facility for a moment here we just go someone of all that I can do it
welcome back Sergeant Montgomery god damn this place is swarming with red I almost didn't make it ok we can do both of these anyway because I've already died the nice thing is we've now got a friend
so yeah he can basically just run ahead and prank for me so ok going to be very useful, he can draw the fire while I get right up these guys and Ja get into position to get ahead of the shots
so we're going back outside further up the cliff from where we were previously and Ja, take out all of these guys, you can just wait to run ahead if you'd be so kind, once we get into danger he should run ahead
I'm not sure yet, come on don't mind this approach, but okay, we're going to use some bullets
some of the bullets made it so much more accurate here than me, which is fucking hilarious you go first, draw the fire, he can't die, and I can just get around into a good position using my lovely rock here
Obviously that's fine, a fourth manual and then a weighty to get into a good position too my friend Not great, I'll take 50-50 on the weighty So, their minimum that was Peter's defense stupid me didn't he?
But with that defense we should be ok for now in fact I'm on top up Fall back, let Montgomery take the damage, finish you off and then yeah there's the one guy over on the pipe You need to go down my friend, just a second.
There we go, ammo is getting a bit low for ya, though the main objective is to continue in... Did I just see someone up ahead? I thought we were cured, but...
Never mind, I think we're fine. As I was saying, the main objective is to continue in that direction, But that isn't what we want to do actually, because we need to double back on ourselves.
Get onto that pipe we saw earlier where we just killed that guy and cross over. One, if there's a health top up here, the two are behind a very easy lock so literally anybody can crack this open
and say, skills aren't really very useful out here in Operation Anchorage. We get a small science room that gives us, well, one, some holidays, but more importantly, an Intel briefcase.
One of ten pieces dusted around the CLC. But because of the way the CLC works, some pieces, if you miss them, you've missed them for good, because you can't go back to earlier areas later. So you've got to get all four from the opening while you're doing the opening.
Miss one, you don't get the point that's a reward for gathering all ten. So ok, back outside and back up onto the cliffs to continue round because, yeah, that's the only one in this bit of the world we need to move on to find the next
Ok, I'm seeing a red on my compass and it's nearby too, so right I see you friend, it's lovely how my compass and battery start Great, and the ammo is going down in a hurry so
this is going to be a problem. It takes me so many bullets to put down at one soldier that I'm genuinely worried about ammo and I didn't even think that was going to be a problem going into this but right just add another problem to the bloody list I guess so uh
see you my friends just get everything now that's him come to us here we go and that might be a bit bit too close actually 75% chance to hit a disgrace but that minimum
is ten all the time I am in danger if you keep up one more time that will be really appreciate it hang on see more people coming over the bridge
that's fine I think you might say that you're coming hang on you're over that you're over that you're over there we go Don't imply too much by the way. Still got me scared.
So, I'm going to open you up and pop you good, good, good. Okay. As long as we can keep this under control, one at a time, we're fine.
When it's not one at a time, not so much. So, okay. I think we're okay, Bob. I thought we were okay. We're not. We're not okay! Right, John, grenade time, grenade time, grenade time, grenade time, definitely grenade time.
One and two and this should hopefully take out both of you. So right in you can be going. Didn't get the hit because they go in cover. Bounced on the roof and did nothing.
Amazing! Okay, I'm going to reset this site by running into here because this room is another storage room that gets me, yes, one of those bloody tapes I want. So, uh, get in here.
I don't think those guys can follow me in here. That gets me another intel brief. Thanks, yeah, that's the next one. Never mind, they have followed me in here. And that's really good news for me.
So yes, thank you, I'm sure that's it. Going into that, that's a straight over to you. Okay, diving into this room, it turns out, with tactical cocking and genius. Yeah, now they've given up their defensive position in that bomb car.
Dead, not like it. Right, we're then dead, back outside. And yeah, we should now be able to move on. Inside, meanwhile, right. Ammo, which is great, and some grenades.
those grades are such a great useful they're not so great so far but as time goes on things are going to get nastier for example we've now got, yeah, a proper flipping defended area
with turrets and what not we don't want to go over that bridge take a right, go into the cave loop around to a better position and it's not to say the cave is like, you know easy going oh he's asked
but it's easier than trying to click over that Hello over there, good sir. No trouble, no trouble at all, no... John, this is a ridiculous range. You know you can't do this, though.
Right, that's you, Dad. My comrade, I would like to say maybe just a bit more moxie from you. I feel like you're not really doing much right now, and I'm really relying on your DPS at the minute.
I am in caution, but by the looks of it, right. the caution was just yeah the guys out here I've already upset so now what
we're doing it is popping out yeah over to the right of that same Odiea I was hoping they'd have like less of a shot at me so right charge forward into
So, I feel like charging forward wasn't a good idea. But yeah, from here, bare minimum, you get the grenades up into, yeah, that first flipping bunker.
Just, I don't know, there. I feel like I didn't really do much in many ways. This is not doing much at all. This may have been a bit of an error.
So, okay, Montgomery's keeping them busy. just move forward so yeah one bunker can't see me and get rid of it soon there is a house in the house I'm gonna rush the house go go go go go grab that
right screw you I've got infinite health inside this room you're in a lot of trouble now you stupid loser so right taken a bunker number one and inside this bunker I've got infinite
fucking health so okay Montgomery who's also got infinite health just because he's a tough cookie yeah he's already moving on a function which is
don't shoot at me shoot at the invincible man but yeah that was a weirdo so right let's get a bit too there we go there we go there we go there we go one dead
and there's a turret which yeah with a 50 science I could turn it off but that's fine it's a science season beyond us right now I'll just pop back in and use a bit of that
and a few more That was a continually small amount of damage Ok, for some reason this turret is... What the
cock a giant turret made out of? Lolly-mate! Seriously, what the... Ah, cock is your deal, crack! Ok, no ammo top up round here unfortunately
So right, we're now going into a proper base with somewhat limited ammunition and things are about to obviously get nastier. Okay, is this the room I think it is?
And yes, yes I suspect it is. I'm immediately being shot from every fucking angle. I want to make a break for, yes, stairs on the left if I can. So, you're on a break so I'm just going to move over to
Montgomery has got some of the potential that I can take out this guy. Good, good, good, good. I want to get upstairs as fast as I can. So Montgomery has got one of them targeting him.
That's positive. Almost went quick, has he? No, no, come back here. Come back here, please. I need you to die as well 65 of the time Not great George second shot better I can chop shot that up reload get up hop you now going to shoot
me very rude of you oh dear there's the second one I'm kind of hoping you go down the end of the wall and not even close so you are currently being staggered so just to finish
but right, getting to... I swear that dead guy just came back to life this room's a bit of a nightmare by the way ok, same basic principle, the one of the ultra-ford
but start last time, getting over here make up for number one good, good, good, good I want Montgomery to go first possibly storming upstairs isn't a smart play
Montgomery, we're kind of in, you know, combat right now right now. No it's not the time to. Amazing well done just top marks all round for my arrow.
Number two go down. Yeah sort of camping down here on the low ground that sort of works. Question is where is person number three because yeah that was the guy there but where's he? Oh
Oh! I see you! I feel like taking you out is a bad idea Now we're in danger!
No! No! No! This is not how I wanted this to go Right, we have to clear this side of the room That's, yeah, just some basic take-take
Get over here, you're reloading So I've got a split second to finish you off as well as well. There's a lovely... not dead but daggers. Oh, damn it. There's dead.
Okay, this area under control. But I need to go upstairs because that's where the cocking intel briefcase is. I think possibly yeah those guys are just waiting for me to appear before they pop out.
I see you up there my friend. There we go. I see you. Right. I've got
some cover. It's not, it's not graceful. No it's not, it's not graceful. It's not, it's not, it's not. Okay Montgomery
I'm going to be needing you to do most of this actually. I am willing to provide you with five-foot trauma below ground There's one there, good, good, good, good But if they're firing at Montgomery, they're not firing at me
At least one is dead No, don't come over here to me, you stupid loser We've got to push forward OK, we've got to push forward, we've got to push forward, we've got to push forward Just one, just one left, he's right...
Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no But at least now we've got one up to him I think that's upstairs, darling. Okay. Good job, darling.
And the reason we did all of that, by the way, it's another very easy door. So, yeah, that is the piece of intel number three in here.
I was kind of hoping for, ooh, another stealth point. I am willing to consider using it. No stealth voice. What about now? Because it's just Montgomery. Don't worry about it.
That, to me, I think is the way we're supposed to be going. Now, hang on. What's downstairs? Half those two guys we killed first. The answers are health pop-up. And also, yeah, sniper rifle, ammo, mines, etc., etc., etc.
So, okay. That'll flip it, though. Okay. Just a nice bit of a shooting gallery I believe. Just a long corridor with a bunch of enemies floating around. So, okay. That's back the way we just were. Now we're going to fight our way along this here.
Question is, yeah, how do all the enemies really tank me? Because that guy's going to point out Chimera tanks to me. That's fine, we're going to fight them, yes. yet you know late up obviously yes but not quite yet
stay down don't worry the guy's running about right go go go go go and then if he's just to finish you off this morning okay you're good more firing on mate get down go to cover top
I'll take him out that's two and only a sixty on that count Edso at right take out you, yeah with seventy cents in the head
what's that going to be fifty fifty coin flip right, you're not dead what have you said you're dead too, back to hidden
keep on keeping on we are under control controller for now. Ammo's looking okay. And it's just a second jam. That's the way we're supposed to be going.
Top up the old ammo. Once again it grabs some more explosives and microfusion cells etc etc. And would you believe it there's another very easy locked door here. Because the game was not going to flipping and deny you the Intel
briefcases for the crime of not having enough lockpick. So yeah that's info piece number four that's everything we need to hit the next area. So keep on keeping on.
We've also got dice. Oh guys you picked a bad spot to decide to try and take me out because let's just say I've got a bit of an advantage in this exact spot right here. So just put some of
wait for the next dot to pop up from the shooting gallery take you out as well my friend take you out more flipping bullets over there
down to half health never mind back up to full health so just occasionally there is a shootout right next to a health pop up which is slightly silly yes all the things just lure everybody in in this particular shooting gallery if we can
we can. That's the final note. No no no. Over here please. Okay. Keep on keeping on. Take a few more basics here but...
Okay. I think we're about to hit the first big exam slash boss fight of this DLC. Which is obviously you know one of the big rewards for doing this is the Chinese stealth armor.
But to earn it, you've got to be able to beat it. Also, yeah, and right here... ...are Crimson Dragoons.
Who I can't target in a vat... ...while they're bloody invisible. I've had a thought about these guys. Like, they may be invisible, but presumably they're not immune to mines.
mines. So, yeah, given I can't see them, and I can't target them, plan A is just to find a nice safe space to hide, and then dropping the frag mines everywhere, and hopefully they'll
walk into them. So yeah, if they want to get to me, they're going to have to come in this direction. So we're just going to lay down a whole bunch of mines, and see what happens. Which is possible. They may be like, you know, waiting in ambush, I don't know precisely
how they work. Just, you know, make a noise, making sure everybody knows I'm here. So they do appear briefly to attack. That's when we nail them in a vat.
Don't know how hard they're gonna hit you, so see, so properly very. Let's see... Oh! I think that was Montgomery, but he did just kind of, yeah, cause one of them to reveal himself.
So, okay. One is down. If we're going upstairs, now's the time to just start popping mines everywhere. If they want to follow me, they've got to go over these mines.
So, mines on every junction up here. So, screw you, basically. If you want to do that, good cock and luck. More, more, more. right that's all the mines question is where are they
because you can't oh well that's definitely some of them they've taken no damage well that's just fucking cheating okay turns out they're immune to mines it was a good plan
John it was a good plan you know what it's an early warning system and we was coming as we heard that like honestly I'm gonna take that like I think that's a
huge win there's one more in here I'm sure it's three am I sure it's three I'm gonna say I'm 85% sure it's three
where are you? oh hang on hang on I see you I see you I see you and down you go Terrifying, but because they want to use melee attacks, actually, not so glippin' bad.
Better and better, we get rewarded by the health and ammo top up, because straight from one test onto the next, we got the finale of the opening section here, the artillery flipping overlock.
Still, I would say having successfully defeated the Crimson Dragoons, how about we call it a pump down. But next time, okay, things are going to open up significantly once we get past the nightmare of the artillery platform and get onto this DLC proper.
All of a sudden, yes, we're going to be dealing with fireteams and more open areas, though tanks we saw in the bloody distance, too. So yes indeed, the nightmare of Anchorage continues next episode, so hopefully you join
me for that. But in the meantime, I've been John, this has been Many a True Nerd, and this has been a Fallout Screams or Worse Wanderer. Thank you very much, and goodbye.
If we just hide the bodies, nobody needs to know about this. Yes, my stupid, stupid plan has worked. It turns out I'm a genius. The giant man's toolkit is not gone
Oh hang on There's more yet Though I'm still getting very shocked Guys Where's the NCR? Nobody needs to know
