[00:00] The new upscale version of the Bronco. This is the new 2027 Ford Bronco Filson, and it's a rough-and-tumble, off-road-ready Ford Bronco
[00:13] with a luxury flair. Filson is kind of an upscale manufacturer of adventure stuff, so Filson, kind of a high-end, outdoorsy thing,
[00:26] and that ties perfectly into the luxury Bronco, since it's kind of a high-end outdoorsy thing. This doesn't have the standard Bronco engines, but instead it's the Bronco Raptor's powertrain,
[00:39] and the Filson is the only way you can get a Bronco with the Raptor engine outside of the Raptor itself. Now, in the Bronco Raptor, the powertrain makes 420 horsepower, like I said.
[00:51] In this car, it is widely assumed that the engine will be detuned. It won't make quite that much power. But Ford still says to expect a significant acceleration boost over a standard Bronco.
[01:05] It's a bit of an interesting thing because the Filson is quite clearly the luxurious, sophisticated Bronco. It's strange to see it coming standard with Sasquatch. But I think the thinking is for the people who want the off-road capability, but also kind of a more buttoned-up experience.
