## Summary

This video is a ranked guide to essential T-side smokes on Mirage in CS2, taught by a Faceit Level 10 player. The smokes are divided into three tiers based on how often the player uses them in real matches. The guide covers default smokes thrown every round, execute smokes for site takes, and advanced situational smokes for high-level play.

### Key Points

- **Tier 1: Default Smokes** [0:00] — Introduced as non-negotiable smokes thrown every round, including Window, Top Mid, Connector, and Cat.
- **Window Smoke Lineup** [0:22] — Requires aiming at the tip of the second mound on the rug and jump throwing from the corner.
- **Top Mid Smoke Lineup** [0:42] — Aim at the tip of the antenna and left click throw; protects against the AWP in window.
- **Connector Smoke** [1:04] — Aim at the second step on the corner of the rug and jump throw to block CT vision.
- **Cat Smoke Lineup** [1:24] — Aim at the tip of a green leaf sticking out and jump throw; closes off mid access.
- **Tier 2: Execute Smokes** [1:56] — Includes CT smoke, Jungle, Stairs (for A site), and three B site smokes (Door, Market, Cat) from one spot.
- **Tier 3: Advanced Smokes** [3:16] — Covers advanced smokes from top mid: window, CT, top connector, and jungle.
- **Call to Action** [5:20] — Urges viewers to comment 'T-side guide' for a full Mirage breakdown and to like/subscribe.

I'm Faceit level 10 in CS2, and this is
every essential smoke I throw on T side
Mirage ranked by how often I use them.
Most guides just dump lineups. This one
tells you exactly what to learn first.
Splitting these into three tiers. Tier
one, you throw these every single round.
Tier two, execute smokes for when you're
committing to a site. Tier three, the
advanced ones most players never bother
learning. Let's go. Tier one, these are
non-negotiable. First, we're going to
start with the window smoke. You're
going to take yourself into this corner
here. You're going to look at this rug.
You're going to aim at the tip of the
second mound on the rug and then jump
throw.
This is going to land perfectly in
window. It's going to bounce off of cat
and give you a perfect bloom, not
allowing them to see around it at all.
Smoke two is going to be top mid. So,
you're going to go into this corner next
to the trash can. You're going to aim on
the tip of this antenna
and just left click throw.
It's going to land perfectly on the top
mid. This smoke going to protect you
from the op in window. If they do break
that window smoke, you have a second
layer of defense here, allowing you to
flash up,
cross,
and still have your life.
Number three is connector. You're going
to go back into this corner by the trash
can, aim at the rug, and look for this
second step on the corner of it. Just
left click jump throw.
It's going to land perfectly into
connector. If you're not smoking con, I
don't know what you're doing. I mean,
it's just free picks for the CTs. This
takes 2 seconds to throw, so just make
sure you're throwing that. Smoke four is
going to be cat. Once again, we're going
back into the corner by the trash can.
You're going to find this green leaf
sticking out here. Go to the tip of it
and then jump throw.
It's going to land perfectly on cat.
It's going to close them off from just
taking mid without a flash or something
like that. It's going to give you a
little bit of a heads up, and it's not
going to leave a gap over here to where
they can freely sit around the smoke.
Like some of the cat smokes land here,
they can sit here and fight you. This
one, as long as somebody's peeking to
hold it from here, they can't come out
without a flash or they're dead. All
right, guys. tier two, these are
executes only. We're going to start at
the A site. You're going to want to
locate this pillar here, go to the left
side of the middle. You're going to aim
up here at this wooden beam on the
corner of it, and then left click jump
throw. This is going to block off CT
from any enemies, whether they're
opping, rifling, whatever it might be.
This is going to keep them from being
able to see you when you come out ramp.
All right, guys, the next two smokes
we're actually going to do together from
the same spot here on A. We're going to
throw jungle and stairs. You're going to
walk into this corner here. You're going
to aim a little bit left of the middle
of this block. [music] Just left click
throw. That's going to block off jungle.
You're going to go straight down to this
thick part of the bricks. Aim about in
the middle of it. Left and right click
jump throw. This is going to land on
stairs. It's going to protect you guys
from stairs players and those jungle and
con players.
All right, guys, still in tier two, but
we're on B site this time. We're going
to walk ourselves into this corner, and
we're actually going to throw the three
smokes that we need most from the exact
same spot. Super simple. You're going to
aim on the second window in the middle
of it. You're going to left click jump
throw. That's going to hit door. You're
going to aim at the top corner of this
brick here.
Left click jump throw there as well. And
then we're going to aim at the left
corner of this building.
Just left click no throw.
And that's going to hit cat. Let me show
you guys what this looks like here. So,
window's fully smoked, door's fully
smoked, and then you have cat popping
here a couple seconds later.
Everything you need.
All right, guys, last but not least is
tier four. These are smokes that most
players never take the time to learn,
but can actually make the difference in
game.
>> [music]
>> If you find yourself top mid here behind
these boxes, a super easy smoke, let's
say if window's not smoked here, aim at
the left corner of this box, move over a
half an inch. Just left click throw.
That's going to block window. It's super
quick, super easy, and it might get you
out of a bad situation.
And then from that same spot, we're
going to go back here by the box. Left
click throw for window.
You're going to go up here to the right
dot on this palm tree, this little right
black dot. you're going to left jump
throw, and this is going to block off
CT.
So, this is kind of a cheeky smoke.
Let's say if you're wanting to do a
fake, or maybe you have teammates
lurking out A, and they don't have a
smoke, you can throw that from top mid
and help them out there.
All right, guys. We got two more smokes
from back here behind this box on top
mid. I think you guys are really going
to find these ones interesting. You
might not have seen them before. So,
we're going to go back into this corner.
We're going to crouch. We're going to
look up at this palm tree, and you're
going to find this dot, this opening in
this leaf here. You're going to want to
aim at it, left click, and just throw.
This is going to cover top con in case
you want to do maybe lurk up con, have
it smoke so that you can't get peeked
while you're pushing. Maybe you want to
go cat. Um it can be used for different
things, but as you can see, once it
blooms, they cannot see through it.
No way for them to see through it here.
So, that can be a really useful useful
smoke at times. We're going to go back
top mid here and throw one last smoke.
This is going to be the jungle smoke.
It's super easy. Aim at that top corner
of this palm tree, left click throw.
This is going to cover up jungle. And
these are just a couple smokes that you
might not have seen, or maybe even known
about, that can really change your game
play and give you a few more cool plays
to make in those Faceit lobbies. That's
every T-side smoke on Mirage ranked.
Tier one was default smokes that you
probably should throw every single
round. Tier two was executes made for
committing to a certain site. And then
tier three were smokes that you probably
want to take to the workshop, practice
them, and then use them in game. If you
want the full T-side breakdown on how to
play Mirage, how to read the enemy, and
know what plays to make, comment T-side
guide down in the comment section below.
I'll respond to every single one. Make
sure to like and subscribe if this video
helped you at all, and I will catch you
guys in the next one.
