And we think it just might kill the DJI Osmo Pocket 4. Let's check it out. and we got our hands on the Insta360 Luna Ultra and there are five key things that could make this [music] the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 killer. Starting lengths. So one of the biggest advantages this camera has over the Pocket 3 and 4 is its multiple focal lengths. So we're not talking just the normal 2x you might get on those cameras. [music] This can go far beyond that. We can't actually mention how much it can zoom in but from what you can see in these shots, you can zoom in quite far and get some really detailed shots and I love that I can choose my framing a lot better. I get more creative with my angles. So it's pretty cool that you have that flexibility on a small [music] pocket camera like this. So let's demonstrate this multiple focal lengths. Right now we're on the standard wide angle and this is what you can expect but you know, often times we get limited by this one wide angle and we want to and grab some close-up details. So we're going to switch over to a closer up. and do that right now. And now we have zoomed in and this is such a dramatic difference. We get a lot less background but that can be really interesting when it comes to getting more close-up, showing more emotion, close-up details. Absolutely loving this but also allows you to not only reframe and sub like isolate your subject but also you can do cool things like track your subject and get some cool parallax Michael Bay-esque footage. So super cool to see that we have this level of flexibility on such a tiny travel camera. Now additionally, the Luna can finally film in 10-bit color with 14 stops of dynamic range. So this point to actually feature 10-bit color. Now this will be on par with the 10-bit that's available in the DJI Osmo Pocket 4. Both cameras can shoot 10-bit right here, you'll see a ton of great dynamic range in these scenes. The colors in the sky and the highlights in the shadows are all preserved because you get that nice I-Log color profile that we've graded using the Insta360 provided LUT and then we adjust a little bit of the color grade ourselves just to what that 10-bit footage looks like. In terms of sensor size, it is a 1-in >> [music] >> What this means is we should expect some shallow depth of field, especially as I get closer and then also improvements in low light. We took this camera out to Fremont Street, tested some low light LED stuff. Super cool to see and we can just see in these visuals how it holds up. We are shooting log so it's really putting it to test when it comes to low light but just judge for yourself how the image quality looks when it comes to actually is going to come in two distinct versions and we have the more there's going to be a little simpler version as well that creators can access at a more affordable price point but also it's going to come in two and a white option as well which is great for creators who want just that of their camera. Now if you pay close attention to this gimbal head, you can see that it has Leica written on it and this is because Insta360 is working closely with Leica. They've done so on their other cameras so there are certain features that are coming with this camera that I can or can't say but you can expect great image quality when it comes to the lenses, the optics and even some software level things but [music] it's cool that we have that name brand world-renowned when it comes to the photography aspect of it. As you pay close attention to the image quality from this footage, notice the sharpness, any sort of lens flares. I'm pretty impressed with the footage so far. Now interested in picking up this kind of camera, it's going to serve a very similar use case to what the Pocket 3 has been for years. So typical day in the life vlogging. It actually can get some pretty cinematic results. So if pros are interested in having a nice vlog style compact camera they can travel with them but still get the best possible image quality with that 10-bit you're really able to get some pretty solid results. And if you're a beginner, you get better with your skills and understand how to even shoot in things like manual settings with log profiles. So first impressions of the Insta360 Luna, immediately off the bat we knew this is a bigger version than what we expected from the Pocket 3 which is very small, compact. [music] This is bigger a bigger grip. I felt it was a better fitting in the hand, a little bit more ergonomic. I feel like also the build quality is superior to the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. So it's interesting to see that they are trying to pack more professional features, a lot more than on the Pocket 4. >> And this is an interesting question like is this almost too much camera? There's a certain quality with the Pocket 3 that it's simple, easy to use but this, we get more professional features but do you necessarily need all those features? That's up to you to decide.
