[00:01] updates, including community-only posts, more and better moderation options in Studio, quick mod assignments and alerts, and new ways to interact, access, and stay alerted. Hello, Insiders. I'm Rene Ritchie, a long-time [00:13] creator and now working at YouTube, and here's what's up. YouTube is focused on making communities easier to manage for creators and more meaningful for fans. That now includes community-only posts, so creators can share updates [00:25] exclusively to the community via desktop or mobile, and those posts stay locked to the community experience and aren't available on the standard public post tab, though they can and will still pop up in places like the subs feed and the [00:38] homepage wrecks alongside those standard public posts. YouTube is also adding more moderation options in Studio, so creators can pin posts, reply to viewers, and manage the community as it grows by multi-selecting fan posts to [00:51] approve, delete, or report all at once, all inside Studio. Creators can also use the three-dot menu on community posts in the YouTube app to instantly add moderators or approved users. New mods even get a notification and a custom [01:05] profile badge. For fans, you can now quote creator posts in a new post of your own, not other fans' posts, just creator posts, but it's a great way to can also jump straight into the community in more ways and more places [01:19] across YouTube, including mobile search results and in a new spotlight card inside the YouTube Music app on mobile. And you can get alerts when a creator when those updates are pinned or hearted. So, creators, jump into your [01:31] communities and or your favorite creator communities, give these new updates a try, let me know your thoughts and questions in the comments, and keep it questions in the comments, and keep it real.
