[00:21] maybe I'm too early hello everyone thank you today we are live cars and bids live I got to mute my computer today we are here with Kenan [00:33] the cars and bids correspondent in Southern California and Alanis the cars at bids correspondent in the middle of nowhere in the middle of nowhere that is live in the middle of nowhere but in fact there are houses around me is it [00:48] next to the middle of nowhere uh yes uh it's nowhere adjacent it's nowhere adjacent and every time I drive a car the cars are never listed where I live so it's a drive between 2 and 4 hours for every every single auction car have [01:01] Additionally you that amount of time that is the drive between here and Los Angeles as well two to four hours yeah it's it's two to four hours it's Ken's getting tired of the drive middle of nowhere as do you we both yeah it is yes [01:16] middle of somewhere that's the difference you you've got a nice view I have nothingness lots of straight roads lots of nothing you see some cows cows cows there are lots of cows Texas no atan lives in Texas she lives in a rural [01:32] community in Texas that also has a large University uh thank you dog the name of Texas Tech might be Texas A&M no one knows maybe one of the two or maybe neither maybe it's something El perfectly honest uh could be UTEP um [01:47] anyway no it's not that that's in El Paso yeah okay we're here with Atlantis and we have kenon and today we're going to talk about many many things cars auctions questions that people are gonna send us car auctions yeah uh yeah that's [02:05] share you know I actually like to take this moment to revisit a a moment oh no make the claim that natur that electric cars are [02:18] naturally aspirated now kenon the difference between me and kenon is that Kennan is very you know by the book MH and he rules and I kind of am not really and so I made this claim to him and boy was he [02:31] upset about it no I wasn't I was I was more fine oh somebody else was really than you might realize when you said naturally I mean it's wrong but when you said naturally aspirated I was like the show just [02:46] started and we are already on the na Auto Supra right oh that we should talk about the na Auto Supra we'll get there electric cars are similar to that in didn't find a promo that it's one of what you're more annoying look I pick my [03:00] battles like if you want to have that I'm going to let you have that one cuz BS and you you want to let that one go yeah I couldn't devote energy you think about it listen I think it's fine I'm not going to judge you for it I let you [03:14] mad at me commenters get mad they're like Alanis is too agreeable with Doug his life interesting is that what they said are you going to be less agreeable today no because I just want you to live your life and I want you to be happy I [03:27] know cuz you had the up badging thing oh he's looking up naturally aspirated bring up like the actual like definition of what it me he's got a Wikipedia page with an engine like working yeah yeah exactly it is in an internal combustion [03:41] engine again it says it no combustion involved to explain to you you wear how happening and I'll tell you the other something is happening I'll tell you I'll tell you something You' focused on the early part of this Wikipedia where [03:55] it says in Tron what about the second half where it says does not have forced supercharger I've never seen a Turbocharger or supercharged electric work with arguments their properties we have to go through if it's not this then [04:09] there's no combustion Aro you wouldn't move on to the fact that it's has no Force induction well I think you know because again induction implies that it's air is being put into the combustion chamber to create power no no [04:21] not being but aspirated doesn't imply that it just means it aspirates and I'm means that air breathe and how does an electric motor breathe ex it just exists this is the [04:35] amount of how does this breathe this is an natur this does not breathe Doug this interesting choice to start the show well I I made I it hit me yesterday I in kenon I thought that you were like it would be like saying that wind is [04:49] naturally aspirating because it just blows on it it's not doing anything with it it's like it just takes so much effort to explain why you're wrong I'm just like yeah it's not worth it I'll find another argument to like lean in on [05:01] but not that one Doug and I did a video one time where we talked about our most controversial opinions and I brought my most controversial opinions and before we started this video Doug goes I'm not going to say my most controversial [05:13] opinions because everyone will hate me and I was like what did I prepare then think markups are okay which is the controversial opin okay but you had a worse one and you didn't do it and then you just you want me to say it no no he [05:28] would he wouldn't say it and then he just let me take all of the horrible one is that was aggressive I'm going to hold this one on you and you know what nobody really it's so funny everybody has this opinion about markups until it you know [05:43] capitalism is great until it doesn't benefit them that's like the thing about the markup opinion but I mean I actually think compared to the markup opinion was a one though that people were even more upset about that we did say um was [05:58] it me saying up bad badging is fine that got a lot of um that that's wrong up badging is fine she she had a good reason for it it tells you a lot about only people who know that it's up badged are the people who are going to care and [06:12] if you put that on there then we know who you are and we can just move on she's like at least they're flying it and so like you know yeah and so you can and be like you know what also I don't want to be part of this like to have [06:25] that confrontation at some point like what were you thinking this isn't an M5 yes but up badging isn't only like we're going to put the M5 badge on a normal one up badging is also put a Type R badge on a Hyundai Elantra right well [06:39] that that's morec I can get I can get down with that um atanas let's can we talk about the auctions very briefly oh auctions the um we have a Jeep Grand Wagoner ending can you tell us your childhood memories of this [06:52] car I do not have childhood memories of anything I've forgotten my entire well then can you make up some childhood memories you know my parents used to take me to Six Flags in this car and I [07:07] remember it so fondly the whole family I had lots of siblings and we all fit in had lots of siblings and we all fit in the vehicle and we went to Six Flags you Pile in was there a dog give us more color give us more color um there was a [07:21] color give us more color um there was a dog and I play like Cat in the Cradle window down Cru yes and then I played the claw machine at Six Flags and I want a stuffed animal oh well now you know it's a fake story yes but no no I'm [07:35] great at the claw machine no I will win multiple claw machine animals at once I'm actually not lying about this I lied about the whole rest of that but I will go to a claw machine and I will win multiple times in a row and sometimes I [07:47] will win multiple stuffed animals on the claw I am a great claw machine person nobody watching this believes you that's so rude um those things are impossible if if the claw isn't strong enough and if you find one where the claw is strong [08:02] enough you can win very easily but don't they make the claw not strong enough all of them which is why you try it and if it's not strong enough you say screw this claw machine nobody believes nobody believes that this happened nobody [08:14] machines are destined to F okay wait this Grand raner is selling well there go my childhood memories you could have bought this I bought it it was me you childhood memories we're going to Six Flags right now yeah whoever bought this [08:26] my childhood memories that totally existed and were not fake at all elenas can you tell us about the Colin pull up the col yes there is one I can actually Rolls-Royce Colin black badge and it's called that despite being blue because [08:40] the badges are black and Alanis drove it and alannis please tell us all about the Rolls-Royce cullin so the Rolls-Royce cullin the first time I ever saw a cinin I was actually surprised because I expected the cinin to be the size of [08:53] roughly the moon and when it wasn't I was like wow this this vehicle actually car and you drive it and you're like this car is not small at all this this [09:05] is a massive vehicle I am looking down on all of the SUVs around me and in more than one way yes literally in more than one way hell you know what people will [09:17] people will debate this color they'll be like Smurf blue on a cinin huh if you're going to buy a cullin why wouldn't you get it in Ford Focus RS blue why not you it in Gray I know more of them are weird colors when I see them than I expected I [09:32] Phantom like people who want to sort of just like subtly be rich well I also respect subtle about that car no I also respect Rolls-Royce because they will make whatever color you want whereas if you go to some other automakers they [09:47] don't like that I would love a pink car from the factory right but you can get whatever color you want and why would you not want a cullin in Focus RS blue I think it's cool I think every time I get in a Rolls Royal I remember how nice [10:02] ceiling especially if it has a shooting star headliner like this one has and you just get to look for the shooting stars and they don't come that often no they to stare you know about this kenon yeah [10:15] think like when we were on the East Coast like cuz we go to a place that's very like secluded and there aren't you can see the stars very clearly I think frequency than the rolls the rolls yeah they're pretty rare it feels like a [10:28] victory when you see a shooting star on this headliner and it's so cool and you know I did not get to floor this car because unfortunately it is not at 100 miles yet I couldn't actually drive it I had to just like very slowly creep [10:42] not past the Breakin period we're not going to do anything to the vehicle that shouldn't be done right it's not really the point of it though to it's it's like a car that you waft in yes it is although I'll tell you what and this the [10:54] Phantom 8 that I reviewed recently it's very impressive how fast it is it it's that's the thing you have it all there engine is also one of the we were talking recently about the W12 and the [11:07] Bentley um that's going away soon we talked about the Mercedes by Turbo V12 to this one probably deserves a shout out as well as one of those great in a in three4 liter six and three4 just just to make it interesting oh oh did we get [11:20] to make it interesting oh oh did we get a bid we got a bid bucks up okay coming the last minute here let's go I mean one minute of roll Roy cullin and man look at how blue that is it is so blue and it is really that blue in person it is so [11:36] of these than I thought I would these are incredibly expensive cars they are Atlantis is she doesn't you know see them but me and kenon we see him I saw one yesterday just driving around it was actually at a gas station car wash swear [11:50] to God and I mean that is actually terrifying um and I mean I don't know when every car on the road is gray black or silver I think color and I would get a different color I think it's great oh yeah I I don't [12:05] disagree with you I like Carson stand out that said I have a silver car it's like you do have a yeah well is I got a blue car with stripes I got a blue car with stripes I got a bright yellow car look me in the face I have a red car I [12:17] got a blue a class oh we have another B for much longer 3711 for the let's go and you know what's super cool about this car the Lambs wool floor mats are baby blue in this vehicle baby [12:31] blue yeah let's find the the Lambs floor mats baby blue they are so cool look at how cute they are those floor mats are so comfortable I just shot a video with the Spectre and it's like oh you just want to take off your shoes and your [12:45] socks and just live in those floor mats well I mean so the first time I was in a Rolls-Royce I was in a I was in a ghost at the ghost launch in like 2020 and I got in the back seat and you have these Lambs floor mats and they are famously [12:59] very very very cushy and comfortable and I wanted to touch them so bad I wanted to take my shoes off and I was like I cannot be the person who gets in The Ghost and takes their shoes off in the back seat I can't be this person but I [13:12] want to so badly and also I feel like I'm not worthy to put my feet in this floor matat I that's what they want you to think no literally and I do because the YouTube video I would not get in this vehicle with my shoes on I just [13:26] because yeah when I first did a phantom I did the same thing it was better to like I don't want to put the shoes in there you know what else I realized can Canon which I'm sure is in there ooh the key is also baby blue the key oh they [13:40] only showed the back front the key in a Rolls-Royce there's there's three buttons and I don't know what any of them do I couldn't figure any of it out one button has a triangle one button has a square and the other button has the [13:52] roll-royce logo what does any of it do I decided that's rich people code they know okay but do you know what the triangle and the square here's what I've learned the triangle unlocks the square opens [14:05] the trunk CU this a BMW thing Y and RR locks right isn't that how B the middle the logo locks if you hold the trunk release the alarm will go off now in a Subaru the Subaru logo unlocks because you're about to start your Subaru [14:19] experience but in a BMW the BMW logo locks because you're ending your BMW prefer the Subaru I was in the back of the cinin and had the key fob and car and you close the trunk on yourself cuz that's what I do in these videos I [14:34] close the trunk on myself and I have the key fob and I'm pressing it and I'm like someone else to let me out cuz I figure out the square and the circle and the triangle and the I couldn't figured [14:47] out I just got stuck yeah rich people code GE to confus and the unusual thing SUV with a tailgate it does have a trunk technically because the rear seals upes yeah and it's dark in there it was scary in there I was having some realizations [15:03] when I got stuck in there that's kind of the way it works when you're in a trunk it's kind of dark now you go into all these trunks you ever had one where it wasn't dark okay well here's I mean you're so right but usually There's Hope [15:16] on the other side that I'll get out and with the the the circle and the triangle that I was going to get out by myself do you want to try to get into the MR2 trunk yes that's probably we probably shouldn't do that we can do we can try [15:30] probably I tried to get so I actually have we were talking about the W12 I have the Continental GTC speed right now and I I couldn't fit in the trunk my hips were too wide to get in the opening did did you try with the roof up uh yes [15:44] oh the opening is the problem the opening to the trunk oh oh oh we're yeah the bids just keep coming in we got a little cullin and bidding war here9 this is really exciting and like I recognize some of these biders from [15:58] recognize some of these biders from other cars which is super cool 380 boom they have been for like 12 minutes now I I recognize some of these biders from the Huracan stto I did same price bracket same everything I [16:11] bracket same everything I Rea same kind of yeah yeah same area 381 the strategy here if you're watching just drop in a 450 bit just go but I do this is such a great example of why the Thousand [16:25] increments is just not Alanis tell us how you would bid we always ask guess they're doing you do the minimum increments yeah I would do exactly what these dudes showed up with a knockout like 400 like boom you don't think that [16:40] and then it's over okay yes it would send a message and like I understand that strategy but also I would be doing the Thousand increments and I fully problem I've learned is and this happened to our buddy Nick who was on [16:53] that you've told yourself I'm not going to go past 50 but then you're up at $200 increments it's like well it's ,200 and it's like oh I go up to 50,400 what's the difference and the next thing you know you're bit 63,000 whereas if if C [17:06] Carson here would just be like you know what F this 400 okay but but he me that's a gauntlet throw if if he does 383 let's go these two are go by a th000 if if someone would just bid 400 or 410 or 390 even it [17:22] money my belief is Li somewhere in the middle I think you do several consistent bids but at I think you do it at 10 if you did this one and like someone's like oh okay it's a little close and they build one you [17:35] another thousand you hit him with another 10 grand that gets intimidating this guy going to throw at this thing you know well I guess it depends also on the price car yeah to be yeah to be if you're doing an NA to is like a [17:48] basketball game I actually I will sit at home sometimes and just watch these auctions in because when the bid bar goes back up I'm like oh we're going best exting 13 12 O what are we do come on C [18:02] Carson throw down that 490 bit C Carson let's go put in a 525 let's go see Carson 3 2 one W this is coming out to the end kenon thoughts Atlantis [18:15] oh oh and he went up by two grand he did what I was suggesting slightly he pulled a Kon we're doing a we're doing a middle thing oh this is see but this is fun it is fun put in like a it's nerve-wracking 36 everyone else a moose I have been [18:29] watching a moose on this one and a moose is really into this car and I respect that a lot where is this thing on Austin uh this is on Austin yes Austin the the goal when I drove it was to keep it under a 100 and I got the car with 94 on [18:46] it miles uhhuh and it was like keep it under 100 but also we have to move it back somewhere else and so I had to basically get it to 3.97 and bring it back but I mean I think the fun of it is like like the all the crazy stuff that [19:00] like I've driven a I've driven a Rolls-Royce before so I can talk about video it's okay I've driven a Rolls-Royce before so I can tell you about it and it's also what's best for the car to not drive it like crazy yeah [19:13] the car to not drive it like crazy yeah did you take out the umbrella yes I did door and you press the little umbrella oh we're at 5 seconds for oh there's the bed Carson we're back um people wait till the last second I love it it's [19:28] sport Doug it's so insane sport it's terrifying but I little umbrella in the door and you pull it out oh it's so cool I love it right it's great I reviewed the rolls Roy Spectre a couple days ago video hasn't [19:43] gone up yet we're going and um in the Spectre the I had the sticker and the umbrella's in the door you know and it said umbrella canopy black different colors for the sure but don't you think black would be the def like [20:00] what was the base color like what it was $1,800 to deviate to Black it's it's like when you're in paint to sample and they're like you can choose black in paint to sample cuz some of those cars aren't offered in just black 389 C [20:13] till the end this time oh here we go we are we are going this is what I'm talking about if someone had just shown up with a 420 knockout 20 minutes ago it's going to get there anyway yeah but this is fun Doug I am enjoying myself [20:26] [Music] watch they're having fun right now and you cannot discount that yeah they're having fun trying to spend 400 G's K another thing I I'll point out that's incredible about this car as I was [20:40] thinking about this car a lot like there are there are currently because be or um Bentley no longer does the W12 in or they won't soon they won't well for the I'm speaking about for their SUV specifically you can get a take it can't [20:52] could the last time I don't know I don't think you can anymore regardless even if you can can if you want a 12 cylinder SUV three choices you have this the about that's going to be a very limited production run car pis 395 you say this [21:08] week and it I thought it looked great then you hear it go by and it's a V12 what's the other V12 SUV uh so it's the if the Ferrari and that's that's really it I mean well I mean how many V12 SUVs [21:23] have there been ever not that many well g65 g65 yeah uh and the uh and I I guess g65 g65 yeah uh and the uh and I I guess the um the Lamborghini 2o oh the LM wow to's name they're having they're having a full conversation and I'm engaged in [21:39] the sport right now so so so AZ moose finally went up by a bunch let's see if that knocks out C Carson here come on I don't know these two both really want this car we're going down 16 15 14 [21:52] they' been doing last second bids though I know it's so God just no it's great Doug throw in your bid let's go throw in your maximum you know at this point it I'm just like trying to give bid strategy here it doesn't matter to me [22:04] one Zer checking checking that'll do it for congratulations sold for 3.95 [22:17] huge congratulations ay moose wow ay moose enjoy the car have fun I I'm sure we vacuumed my feet out of it by now 395 man that is still is still Big M i it's [22:29] a very very desirable car but these are still commanding real money wow awesome that was a good little bidding more what the sorry see Carson couldn't make it give me some questions yeah let's go to some questions I want to just start at [22:41] go let's just do it what do you all think of the B8 S4 Ethan Reinhardt wait asked let make that Cal small Ethan Reinhardt what do you think of the B8 S4 great all right next question bs4 yeah very very competent [22:57] car very competent car wonderful daily driver 333 Horsepower Supercharged V6 the maner DCT uh friend of mine had one forever great we sell sticks sometimes I yeah and I mean if you live in a climate where it snows which is a thing now of [23:11] course this time of year fantastic it's also an attractive car yeah they still look great they sound right they sound wonderful too if you do the right like always have they've gotten to be relatively affordable [23:23] mhm uh Ian M Mike r me some real questions where are you currently um I don't know if you could [23:38] convert Zack from Minnesota if you could convert one non-manual car to a manual what would it be Alex lc500 yeah well that's a very good choice that's a really good answer imine rowing those gears and that na [23:51] imine rowing those gears and that na N8 mhm oh I really love that oh I really N8 mhm oh I really love that oh I really wanted oh I want a manual l c 500 so bad automatics um w211 E55 AMG with a [24:04] okay I mean those are good answers the answer of course is the Enzo all right moving on don't you agree imagine an Enzo with a with a three pedals oh yeah you imagining it no I'm thinking about the LC [24:18] 500 I'm not even remotely concerned with theal answer not even remotely pedals so cool imagine getting an Enzo and just shifting into gear we also [24:33] found out recently that Enzo clutches last like 2,000 miles the automatic clutches which for a clutch is not that's not much not exactly a lot I would be I would hope to do clutches less frequently than oil [24:46] changes is it an engine out to do that too on that I think yeah so engine comes out every 2,000 mil hey look you know we've all been there you can look at it you bought the engine you might as well look at it right um okay kenon pull up [24:59] another one of these questions you choose one all right I will pick one uh collection coming up for S and Houston you discussed this recently on Matt Faris podcast I don't know it's white it's not that's it's it's white yeah [25:11] we'll move on to the very next question which is the best one of all no thoughts which is the best one of all no thoughts best car for under 10k Suzuki Mighty best car for under 10k Suzuki Mighty boy all right Tori asks best car for [25:23] under 10k she said the Suzuki Mighty boy that might be the answer what do Beats sell for Honda beats I feel like it I don't know pull it up Ken I don't actually know let's look those self for under 10 [25:38] well how about a boxer remember that boxer we reviewed we're not we're not was like an $88,000 C did that ever sell on the site at mustard yes it did um we're not being totally fair there are there are good answers for this that are [25:52] answers they are they are good answers but they're extremely Niche answers there are non- Niche answers to this question question that boxer we did that boxer we did sold for $19.69 oh wow but that's around 10 we [26:06] around 10 well there are we've sold boxers for under 10 but some of them have tips Tiptronic the automatic transmission for those of you playing at home kenet go to that incredible question what's the best country there [26:19] from Sean what country is the best to see interesting cars what a question finest question I've ever been asked Sean if you're around thank than you so much for asking that question CU it it's it is hard cuz I mean it's it also is [26:33] the way it's phrased to see interesting cars to see exotic cars like everybody thinks Monaco London has really become a place too Dubai but or but like the answer to this question is some country that allows in everything which New [26:46] Zealand New Zealand is what comes to mind as um but also New Zealand isn't Rich enough to have like cool like they there are there are no Ferraris and you don't see them Ferraris Lamborghinis and stuff in New Zealand you see like weird [26:59] Japanese cars that have been imported again interesting like yeah but but you need the whole gamut to have interesting London was full of weird cars that was great but the rest of the UK is not quite as interesting interesting best [27:13] country for interesting car that is a tough what a brilliant question now when I go on street view in West Africa and I spent a lot of my time doing that um all America so there's like Toyota [27:25] student bumper sticker so that's kind of interesting that's kind of interesting yeah we have a lot of those in Texas right and when when people in Texas are done with them they go to auction and then they get shipped [27:37] go to auction and then they get shipped to Ghana and I'm telling you go on go on to Ghana and I'm telling you go on go on losos mhm street view It's All American cars I've been doing a lot of street view lately because my husband and I are [27:49] great game I love that game I'll play you guys sometime okay no you should good at it I'm not good at it we will be be in like we will be in some random country and I'll go that is definitely New Mexico and it [28:05] is it's not and he's like no it's not New Mexico the cars are on the wrong side it's just all wrong so anyway I don't get out much that is the main point I don't know what country has the best cars cuz I don't [28:19] you travel you travel more than me and Kenan combined but not out of the country you were just in Vegas I travel a lot within the United States were in Europe at some point I went to France earlier this year for the 24 hours of [28:31] Lama oh yeah that's right that was that was good that was good I don't know it's a tough question God Saudi UAE the cars aren't that interesting that's all new stuff I I think that the answer is probably like the UK sort of because [28:44] country sort of has to allow a lot of cars in because there are fewer cars cool cars but it's generally not that brilliant brilliant question I think I'd like to our best question of all time go [29:00] back I yeah I did see quite a few interesting cars in South Africa when I was there but it's all like trucks and I did see a Ford Probe there that was a Europe as a new car so it wouldn't surprise me if they sold it in South [29:13] color they all 90s cars were that color even the ones that weren't being sold right now currently oh my God this car is insane wait I'm so [29:28] auction I have not looked at this auction this is a 2001 Acura 3.2 CL Type horsepower front wheel drive V6 look they were nice cars this car inexplicably is a one-owner car with 6,000 Mi someone bought this and by the [29:42] way it's the automatic everybody wanted the sixspeed they bought this and were like I'm I'm going to preserve this like an F50 look at these headlights look at these seats this car hasn't been touched I mean what is happening this car was [29:54] just completely put away in Pennsylvania and it's not your typical old person car that someone would put away no not at all I love a Survivor like this is so what a Time C what a bizarre bizarre vehicle wow incredible is that I always [30:10] love when you see an old car with like really really nice headlights look at like this car nobody's been like slid yeah look how clean that engine is what is the deal with this wonder if there any underbody pictures to that for me [30:23] of the judges is like how clean is the underbody that is quite clean this is the nicest accuracy L uh that it isn't the stick these were offered with a stick um but how insane [30:39] is this car I think they were a 5-speed manual though in 03 or maybe they didn't even do a stick in3 but regardless look at this this car is no why why did someone preserve an Acura CL like it was an F50 they're going for it too as they [30:52] ever find all of these people are going to swap in a manual m yep they they these cars kind of 100% failure right so they're gonna someone's gonna swap in a stick well it's mil it'll be it'll be fine we got a little time there's some [31:08] time we we're not on a 2,000 mile clutch here we're car were so not an enza we I love these when I was a kid the thing I like by the way one other interesting thing scroll back up kenon to the um to these cars you see that wheel mhm Honda [31:23] later did an Accord V6 and it used that wheel but only the main wheel but only the main uals really yes interesting the 200 like five 2006 Accord V6 used that same wheel but only the the [31:36] manual interesting concept of a luxury brand sharing a wheel with a non with a the 80 series Land Cruiser did that okay us about your childhood memories of the acuracy you know we went Six Flags [31:56] forward and you climb the back you know I've never been good at folding the seat back I feel like I'm so clumsy that it just ends up being very [32:08] no good way to do it there's no good way to there no good way to do it it's just like there's no good way to get out of a super car you always look horrible when you get out of a super you just kind of have to roll and melt out abely [32:21] and it's like wow you're a you're a complete loser it's literally there's nothing more embarassing who cares you show up in a Kash I mean I guess but the owner says by the way I found his comment we're we doubt there are any [32:36] mileage I agree we acquired this vehicle from the original owner who bought it new from Metro Acura in Philadelphia in 2000 wow the owner used it as a special occasion vehicle I love that that's incredible and it was garage kept with [32:48] not on use isn't that in just unbelievable a special occasion video owned the car for 23 years and they only did 6,300 mies so they own only were driving it 400 miles I mean what do you think special occasion was worthy of [33:01] taking the CL out of the garage Texas Roadhouse yeah that's what it was they we're going to drive the SE type ass that's that's a big thing in Texas you penylan whole life they do not have Texas Roadhouse and I prom they have [33:16] promise you they had it in Dubai when I was I love that we we had them in Ohio so there are tons of Texas Road houses in Pennsylvania looking at a map right [33:28] now yeah is it a map of Texas atanta atan atlis does the map have Austin and Dallas on it no Doug ATL if the map has Sugarland on it you're looking at other D look there are lakes up here shout out to Sugarland there are lakes up here [33:43] these are like the Great Lakes this is this is like the Edmond that's some Lake boats to on the weekend um kenon tell us about the accuracy all type S I'm just well I'm just stunned again like I like I've [33:58] often said pretty much every F40 in existence was taken care of it is so unusual to see a car like this that has been just preserved and I love seeing that 157 mes a year pull up the Carfax I want to know what this deal was oh yeah [34:10] let's see if there a bunch of dealer entries for man look one or 23 years two months 270 mil a year that's a rare one okay go down okay so by 05 they had only driven at400 Miles by 06 17 I mean there were years they didn't drive it yeah it [34:24] seems that way no special occasions that those years no Texas Roadhouse those years no they didn't make it to Texas there were like there's like a dozen of so you can go so they come into they go back up they come into Acura of [34:37] back up they come into Acura of limmerick in 2011 with 2500 miles what do you think they were say in an Acura of limmerick there who is this guy in it was some a it's like has your gauge cluster been place or something what's [34:53] going on and sir we also checked your odometer for the obvious failure no it says exempt from Emission Inspection this is the greatest thing about 2,000 miles a year you don't have to doing emissions oh which is so cool so [35:07] these I mean look at that in between 16 and 17 the car was only driven 56 miles I mean it's incredible what what Justified the 56 miles in that year like what was the day I don't know I don't know I really do want to know though [35:21] like I love learning about people's lives in that way the was just staring at he's like I got the itch to drive but he never got the itch to drive he on his birthday he did a 30 mile round trip and then he took it to the smog place [35:33] every year the emissions place that was it we had at Marshal when I worked at Cleveland we had a career GT that was like that it was owned in Connecticut year and then we drive it back that was it that was the only miles the guy ever [35:49] drove wow it was so it was like like 50 M roundt trip a year is like all the cars ever driven and that's this is what maybe that's what he did maybe that's what he did GT accuracy Type S just sold for1 [36:01] GT accuracy Type S just sold for1 18550 I have no idea if that is high or low this is the only car like this there will never be another comp and yeah pull up our CL Type S comps go to kenan's screen real quick uh okay we got 12 750 [36:14] for one with 50,000 mies but it had a stick in fact the other ones kind of mean there's all relatively low miles but not 6,300 miles car is a comp to nothing what an absolutely crazy crazy so if this is you and you bought this [36:29] take it to your favorite chain restaurant tag me on Instagram and I'll favorite chain restaurant say it's a nice day right taking it my favorite chain restaurant I haven't been to a chain [36:43] chain restaurant not true that's not true I uh when I'm on my cross country road trip I drive across country twice a year uh I go to Subway okay okay kenon what is your favorite chain restaurant road trip wise that is the I I think the [36:58] what I do actually Dairy Queen that's the one Subway I'll do if I have the time to stop que seems like a Doug thing but Dairy Queen has a drive-thru and Subway does not which I don't want to stop you know so okay one time I did [37:12] like a Twitter spaces thing and I had Roman Gran on there Roman Gran the formula the former Formula 1 driver right and he lives in America now because he's racing over here and I said what's your favorite American chain [37:24] said yeah Roman yeah Roman Gran what is Olive Garden no King no Cracker Barrel it's very American Cracker Barrel [37:40] he said it has a lot of parking for my [Music] RV that's that's the uh that's what you use Cho the qualifications to choose your favorite train rest his hobby is like being a chef that is his Hobby and [37:54] one how bizarre listen I love cracker bar you go in there and they give you those biscuits this guy used to I love cracker bar too actually or I used to I mean I can't eat that kind of stuff anymore [38:06] it's too it's there's too much one time I tweeted um Brad kazlowski is an NASCAR restaurant is Cracker Barrel cuz he likes shopping in the little store three minutes later Brad kazlowski responded Yes was just in there the other day I [38:21] was like I didn't even tag you didn't even tag you anyway that's my Cracker the Porsche 968 Cabriolet of course we can Al tell us your childhood memories of the 968 Cabriolet you know you you put the top down and you go for a drive [38:36] to Six Flag Six Flag yeah that's about all I got this Flag yeah that's about all I got this car has a 3 l four cylinder engine big four-cylinder big old four-cylinder now it also was one of the very earliest [38:48] automatic transmission pull that picture up which of course this one has yeah you could do is you would move the gear selector into drive then you'd flip it over into manual mode and then you'd go up down now every car has this now there [39:04] the time it was groundbreaking in fact I think this may have been the very first car to have it in '94 too and so here we are Kenan thoughts on Tiptronic did the 964 have it at the same time they I think they both yeah maybe 93 or 92 but [39:19] I think the 968 and the 964 both had it at first yeah I mean you know the thing thing about this car is much like the na suo you can just take a baseball hat over and put it over and they're looking for the pedals which nobody is I was [39:33] Doug we were watching you on Matt far's podcast the other day and you you had a transition phrase you were like you know what I need to say and I was like na Auto Supra and then you're like na Auto Supra it was it's not my fault that the [39:48] na Auto Supra is one of the great cars it's just so easy kenon is not taking me seriously today it's so easy just like so you've said some things recently I'm like I just can't even let him go 968 cab is no reserve and it's [40:04] being bid bid bid we got a war down here yeah we do have quite the battle going on I always thought these cars looked so cool they do look so cool they do look really good cabs are rare C are r i mean all the N were porsa was near bankruptcy [40:16] of cars they were really just kind of desperate for anybody to come along and it also I thought this car was always kind of unusual how it Blended like you kind of had the 928 like front and with the way like the headlights operated you [40:28] had kind of the 944 General look cuz it's an evolution that car and then it had this it was just an unusual car that was made for such a short period it's made for so long it has a big following in the poral world everybody knows about [40:41] it the 968 was it was the 9295 I think was its only production run think that's was its only production run think that's right and it just wasn't particularly uh doesn't deserve to be it's a pretty special car now I I've noticed that the [40:53] sticks and the gts's are starting to become valuable again um and I'm I'm auto car they're just really really rare I don't remember last time I randomly 968 either and and the bidding is strong I mean this car has like 91,000 miles on [41:08] it like the numbers are coming in pretty strong on this car but as you how many what other 968 have we sold pull up pull up the 968 history absolutely so oh go we've sold a yeah we've sold a few of them so this one's performing pretty [41:20] them so this one's performing pretty well uh even as a tip um yeah but but presented nicely yeah one of our best sellers y I really do think no matter how much you know about the mental tricks of presenting a car [41:34] nicely for auction or for sale no matter how much you know like that's going to because you know when you get on any is if you see a car that looks nice and is presented well and has been detailed [41:47] or cleaned or whatever you're just like yes this person car like it tells me that I was going to sell my convertible G wagon and you know a lot of people just take take pictures and put it up mhm no it's [42:01] want to do it right and you want to get all the money and you want to really do know that it's a mental trick because you know you're making these incredible works it works and taking pictures going to your Walmart and taking pictures with [42:15] with a GMC Sierra in the background and a dumpster on the other side people do that and it's like some of the cars that we sell I want to buy and myself take better pictures clean them up better at a better than just flip again we can [42:28] make so much money people just don't understand how valuable it is and we beg offer you know a professional photo service we don't even mark it up yeah we offer it at Cost because we know that it will get you more money it will get us [42:41] and people still I don't need it and it's like you do no you do exactly and like the photographer that we use specifically uh is amazing like my Ferrari pictures look am shout out to Frank the photographer's Garage on [42:55] Instagram everybody check out Frank and it's also it's it's interesting when you're navigating the auction world because I'm new to working here and I had a car the other day the Mercedes AMG gt63 and it was a great car right before [43:09] I got to the parking lot it rained and then the rain dried on it so it had rain spots on it so I had to say in the video when I'm filming hey this is not the seller's fault it is quite literally the weather so like they didn't give me the [43:22] weather so like they didn't give me the car dirty it rained and so you have to insight into the seller and it's important insight into the car to say detailed yeah I agree I mean I always tell people when you're buying a car on [43:36] seller you're not really buying the car you're buying the seller and so like if the seller gives you bad vibes and is a disaster just assume you're going to say in the video look like I would have washed this car but also people are very [43:49] particular about how they wash so so that is why we have the spots on you have to explain that kind of thing because it's important yep absolutely um this car is no Reserve so it's selling it's bidding keep going 23,000 people [44:04] are just going going going you want a nice 968 this is a nice 968 Ken pull up the questions please give us some questions Feed Us feed us with questions John with a G Atlantis is there a car you wouldn't drive in pink no I would [44:18] really every car I I would drive whatever in pink it literally doesn't matter what about a uh Hummer H2 yes 100% what about a Hummer Hummer H2 yes 100% what about a Hummer H1 yes okay wait throw throw a difficult [44:33] the questions can in scrolling of the questions it's it's like he's like a rabid monkey he like I went back up I I present Charlie o this is okay here's a great question Charlie o writes in are [44:47] bicycles naturally aspirated yes I don't know how to ride a b technically yes they are because the engine is the person they they intake air yeah technically yes they are boom there you go you've learned [45:00] something today yes Charlie I would I think I could classify them as as being natur Christian writes in this is an interesting question 20 to 30 years from now will manual cars still hold value better than their automatic [45:14] counterparts Z1 TransAm Etc Ken I I think I think it's going yeah I think that it will be a the interesting thing about manual time when they are very rare and so if you're trying to if you're comparing a [45:29] collector's perspective you want the get the manual um but they're also just better to drive like generally speaking it's more involving Transmissions have gotten so fast that you know it's like [45:42] a manual Porsche is very good at recognizing this so I think there still will be a a premium for manual trans here's a question in the YouTube chat are people naturally aspirated though they have to breathe in with their lung [45:54] that's not naturally aspirated I think that interesting interesting because technically the like the heart keeps you going but the lung takes the oxygen it's like the more like the so do we have [46:08] like help from the lungs does that make us not naturally aspirated or is that like the plenum chamber that's I think it's more like the plenum I think it is air goes I mean there's I mean to be clear there's no combustion happening so [46:21] like there's no com we're not internal combustion expion happening that electric cars are not naturally aspirated because the Wikipedia page says internal combustion and we had a whole conversation about how people [46:37] we're we're we're D we're playing fast and loose with the rules of naturally aspirated and I love playing fast and loose with the rules well kenon does not why I like NASCAR because they're always cheating kenon go up uh go up to some [46:51] questions here uh more all right I'll go up as high as I can possibly go which is the first question from Toblerone also a candy bar if you had to [47:08] stick with one car company for the rest of your life which one would it be hard level hard level no German ones but okay let's start with allowing German ones Alanis go ahead okay but here's the thing I'm very conflicted because I love [47:22] Kia but I want to stick so I'm going to say Toyota your answer it's going to be the most obvious one for I think if I had to pick one no no I like as much as I love BMWs it's [47:36] like I think I think Porsche does a better job it's Porsche okay now no J I agree by the way I'm not a Porsche guy really make spes to me now no German [47:48] ones and that's where it gets very difficult she said Toyota obviously that level but like Toyota is the perfect answer for this I don't me on one end you can get the it's actually not that bad as I'm now think [48:02] you can get the hux you can get the anyauto Supra you can get the new manual Supra you can get the century you can are you kidding me Toyota is the best answer maybe maybe hang on let me think Alanis give me a second everyone in the [48:15] chat is just saying German automaker no we're doing not German we're doing not German right now we're doing not German Ben's Audi porso no no not Ben's Audi porso no no not German Porsche Porsche someone picks the [48:28] whole VW is a good pick the whole VW not German Hyundai is a good pick I respect Hyundai um no Hyundai's wrong he is a [48:41] great pick Hyundai is a great pick you I'm TR not to pick Toyota just so I oh I horrible pick and now you're trying not to pick I'm trying not to pick it give you the satisfaction of having made fun of your pick and now having to tail [48:54] between my legs going Sho in I'm so let me get okay what about um what about Lamborghini they have an SUV yeah and it is German technically but not called so bizarre Urus that just so bizarre I was [49:12] comes to mind as is good you get there's a they have a very cool back both chosen non- German cars that get a German engine great like guess we can get [49:27] around it that way um what about what about Vector no I think I actually think Toyota might be the answer don't put your hands up like you've just won I did win it's Toyota do you not think it's Toyota really kenon [49:42] you could have Supras and you don't I have like no interest in most of you a DB9 give me a break I'm going to shift M you could get a manual I'm going to Martin and it's going to look a lot cooler than you whatever but that's all [49:56] look cooler than me in my Toyota Century you think you're going to look cooler than me launching off of a cliff in my hux I think a 177 will look cooler than than you7 are nightmare cars what would you like daily a dbx the 707 you can run [50:13] a hux into a wall could you run a dbx into a wall can no I wouldn't want to I don't run things into walls well that's the problem you could put a hux in a blender the answer to the question is POR [50:26] slash not German uh Lamborghini imag a RTO a wait what about Bentley I thought or Bentley yeah too what about Bentley you're driving that Bentley that's a [50:41] cool car okay but I am going for range here I'm going for range of lineup you only get so much when you go for Rolls-Royce or Bentley you get everything when you go for Toyota you get the Supra you get the century you [50:54] get the Supra you get the century you get theux supposed to say soul I was going to say yeah soul I have a soul well not a the [51:07] car doesn't though oh wow damn kis kenis wow I just like I mean it Toyota we're driving around in our Mark fours and our centuries we got soul and you're driving around in some V8 Vantage dbx 707 what's your soul wealth that's not a [51:22] soul everybody posts na Auto Supra in chat thank you someone says is a century better than a mul phantom No but listen we're playing a game [51:35] Alanis is right yeah a lot of people are my soul tells me that a lot of people saying Super A lot of people are saying an auto Supra cuz I just told everybody in the chat to say na Auto Supra some people are saying Lexus that's actually [51:47] a good one cuz you you have a yeah Lexus is a great choice or you could have an lc500 that goes over all the stuff uhx lc500 that goes over all the stuff uhx LC 500 the the new Al I actually think I [52:01] think Alexis is a great choice there can we discuss really quick this S65 that's selling right now yeah sure 2016 Mercedes AMG S65 at can you tell us it's not gold it's actually it looks golden in the Six Flags Sun it it looks gold [52:16] actually white yeah yeah I bet it's been wrapped um yeah Atlantis tell us your opinion of the Mercedes-Benz S65 my opinion or my [52:28] childhood memories no your opinion your opinion I it's cute back you think it's cute yeah I think it's cute cute it's got 740 PB feet of torque cute is not kenon tell her what the reality of this situation is one of the greatest engines [52:43] ever made wait go back one picture oh here we go kenth wait there's no leaves in that picture go go to the right go to wa there's go to the right go to the right one left right Le just well I mean I to break D [53:01] did like a two we photo shoot in this you're actually so right what if we got yelled at like you can't take pictures here it's a red curb sir okay so moved somewhere um this already sold we missed [53:14] it this car just actually failed to sell for 585 oh bid to 58 Reserve not met you know at 585 that's a lot of car that is a lot of car a lot of car but that's kind of where they're going you know wrapped cars are interesting I I really [53:27] should take off their wraps before they sell cars I think that people are con are concerned about the quality of the paint and so if you try to sell a car with a wrap you have to just assume or hope the paint is good sometimes it is [53:40] you're really serious about selling the car just take off the wp that's my that's generally my opinion going down that path a little further like in my opinion return the car to as stock as possible if it has a handful of mods if [53:52] the point of the car is like right specific with a lot race car whatever I get that but generally if you want the most if you bought if you paid $10,000 off and put the H separately get them yeah and and put the stock ons back in [54:07] the because it just a lot of people extrap whether they're right or wrong thinking the car wasn't Will C or it's very heavily modified I think that car no wrap on I agree but we'll put it [54:19] together after it's very age-old advice that the modifications you make to your car almost always are for you not for the next person and because it doesn't matter how well you did with it they will still doubt you plus especially [54:32] when it's that bright gold wrap I mean that's a very like I I think it looks like it but it's a it's certainly a taste specific decision so trying to trying to sell a white S65 that's like a white S65 it's a fairly easy car to sell [54:46] by comparison hypers taste hyper specific hypers specific okay go back to NSX but let's do two questions scroll down scroll give us some scrolly scrolly scroll down scroll down scrolling scroll scroll scroll okay here we go uh oh how [55:04] about that question from nas R renad what is the worst car you can buy new um day and that's why I asked for this question and now I have not 500 Dodge [55:16] sale anymore but when you could those were terrible decisions what was I in the other day and I was like this is the worst car on sale uh I got to think then I'll come I'll come back to it I'll come back to it you picked [55:30] [Laughter] it worst car on sale Kenan give us one of these [55:44] these most disappointing manual you've ever driven from me 2016 base super Forester from John the G most disappointing manual ever drove uh a lot of crappy cars have a very disappointing manual I think a lot of enthusiasts I [55:59] think think that just having a manual makes a car fun but you'd be surprised I yeah there are some ones where it actively makes it worse I think for me manual I ever drove was an Alf for Mayo spider cuz it was I mean that trans the [56:13] bushings were worn out so you put it in gear and you could like make circles Know funny I've driven a nice Alpha spider and it was pretty good actually okay this one was just been a bad one but it was like it was not nice [56:25] the wor the answer to this question is the 1998 Mercedes-Benz a140 that is parked right over there squidy is how I would describe that that is a trash manual transmiss have you sat in this car no I haven't no I need to okay not [56:41] good so I would argue this is this is where everyone disagrees with me W I actually like when the manuals are terrible because I just think it's kind of fun and I think it's character you could beat on it well I mean it's just [56:55] kind of quirky and fun and I like when experiences are weird so I had a Toyota Corolla like a press car like rental spec press car Toyota Corolla like a spec press car Toyota Corolla like a year or two ago and that car had a [57:08] manual that was like stirring soup and also it was one of the manuals where you pull up on the ring on the shifter to put it in reverse and then you would pull the ring down but it it would still go into reverse and so you had to like [57:21] forcefully hold the ring down and wait like 90 seconds for it to stop going into reverse so if you ever needed to like back up at a stoplight which I did once I needed to back up at a stoplight and I was sitting there holding the ring [57:34] down like please let me put the car in first so I can go and I loved it I loved car again I actually asked for that car again from that Fleet because it was so much fun it was already out of the fleet and I hat to I'm going to S this back to [57:49] a steer this back to a car that has a great manual great manual transmissions 1991 you pull screen here this is this car are you this one is fascina because this has two over 200,000 miles are you aware the story of this car no this is a [58:02] one-owner car wow good for this person so this this is a 91 NSX first year-ish I don't know maybe 90 nobody knows NSX people are like you jerk but 91 NSX this is a one-owner car dude bought it new and what he did was what we all say we [58:17] would do he drove it and he drove it and he drove it and he drove it and it has 207,000 incred leg that is the coolest thing in the world Bravo I think that's incredible old Pennsylvania play old old old Pennsylvania play that many miles I [58:31] of work seat needs work steering whe needs work like the car is a little one in general car because it was just a great car the NSX was just a great damn car it was just well done it was just good it was a good it was an act it was [58:47] a Honda it was good yeah Ln tell us your childhood memories of the uh okay so actually um I won tell you my childhood memories about the NSX but I will say that I disagree with every single person who says they [59:00] don't like the new NSX oh yeah of course the new I think everyone who doesn't like the new NSX is just like grasping to be cool because yes objectively this NSX rocks the one that we are looking at right now is incredible but the new one [59:16] also rips and if you say you don't like it you're just doing that because people are contr I will say when the new NSX came out um the concept of a hybrid superar had not really been fully flushed out yet and people were judging [59:30] it for that which I think made some sense at the time now every superar is a hybrid and so it doesn't seem as controversial and so to me it's it's more desirable of a car now as its age plus they only made 3,000 of them which [59:42] is incredibly low production oh man thisx at $43,000 this is going to be an outlier in terms of the the uh sale price a typical $200,000 car 200,000 M car would not sell for this much however this is a very very very very special [59:57] car um I'm also always like humbled sincerely when someone who's had a car for 30 years brings it to us J I agree like how cool is it this dude has had his whole life in this car right and to connect that to the next person who's [01:00:10] hopefully you'll love it and enjoy it as much as and to bring it to us as like end up my experience with this like tremendously special car is just such a number of occasions I remember we did with I remember Lotus of land the same [01:00:25] had a one-owner Lotus front R Lotus Salon we also had uh there was a yellow TT we had same thing the the the owner of that she' had it since it was new and listing I sent her a note just to say thank you for choosing us it really [01:00:39] means a lot yeah it is special so I'm I'm honored that people do that yeah I 21 apparently great I mean who cares it it [01:00:51] still presents really well it's the right color a it's just yeah what a I mean this person went into Acura in 90 go to the Carfax this person went in Acura in 90 probably and was just like yeah go go up to the top new hide Park [01:01:06] between 91 and 95 April 1 and 91 and that was it just did it it's just so that was it just did it it's just so cool it's so so so cool really incredible he slowed down driving it he had 163 by 09 and hasn't been driving at [01:01:20] quite as much since no surprise still wow a lot of got it pulls look at this Montgomeryville Acura in December of 12 imagine being the service riter dealing imagine being the service riter dealing with 180,000 mil 180,000 miles you're [01:01:34] dealing with MDX after RDX after TL and you're just bored and sad right it's winter in Pennsylvania and you're so sad comes in and the Dude shows up in a [01:01:46] 200,000 Mile one-owner NSX this thing is so cool I'm thrilled I I used to do all the intake the the cars that would come in I would do all the reserve setting and uh I don't do any of it anymore but when this car came [01:02:00] that day and I clicked on it I go and NSX and I saw the history this guy one don't care what Reserve this guy wants we need this car on the site it is so special and the the um biders are realizing that too it is this is this is [01:02:15] that everybody else is like getting how cool this car is it's also going to be a relatively cheap a stick NSX for relatively cheap because Ag and when you can really Drive stuff and have have fun with 46 Grand to screw around with this [01:02:31] car man maybe we should be bidding just no Reserve we can't take the reserve off Robbie take the reserve off I no I can't buy any more cars but also are at that point where it's super freeing that you can do whatever you [01:02:46] want with this car because the miles aren't costing you tons of money and they're not costing you resale value and they're not you know it's fine you can just buy this car and do whatever you want and I have a suspicion that some of [01:02:59] the hell out of it I have a suspicion that some of them are looking at hey I could buy a Civic Type R but or I could buy an NSX hey Ken the guy kenon let it be the dude had 30 years unmod that is exactly right let it be for 30 years [01:03:14] dude had this car for 30 years it was unmodded everybody in Southeastern Pennsylvania has seen this car in the winter it's fine now the next another Pennsylvania car yeah I wonder if they've been to Texas Roadhouse no no [01:03:28] Pennsylvania well no the the speed bumps are too high at Texas Roadhouse you'd scrape the splitter this guy didn't care he took it everywhere we can't take AR Miata to Texas Roadhouse cuz the speed bumps are too big how sad it's really [01:03:40] sad sad experience for you personally because you're OBS yeah what do you do do you park like near it and walk no because you park like in the Right Aid it's just not a it's the whole thing is not conducive to the Miata so we just we [01:03:53] can't have you considered purchasing a 1991 Acura NSX instead you know what if I could call my husband right now and get some approval maybe but I don't think he would love if I called him after the show and I said hey I Grand on [01:04:06] after the show and I said hey I Grand on an NSX right what's up right he wouldn't love that man the seller even in the thing he he replies a couple days ago I would not be selling my NSX if were it not for my worsening eyesight it looks [01:04:18] like handles like and accelerates like when it was brand new how beautiful oh man that okay that's really sad though oh that is that is so I mean but the dude 30 years like 30 years and 27,000 mil got his money's worth and plus what [01:04:30] did he pay for this thing 70 I also I also think that's an important discussion I think physical like things that happen as you age and also injuries and physical ailments whatever you have is a really important discussion in car [01:04:43] automatics and some people do want certain kinds of cars because it's just and you wonder if this guy could but I guess if it's eyesight yeah but you know even with Autos are still I mean there still an amazingly well balanced perfect [01:04:57] car totally this car is so special even stock wheels which I always felt looked great in which everybody changes no I I totally agree with you I want the car throw in some bits go for it Doug Doug wants it let's go you know what hit me [01:05:09] the day would look good in here you know what hit me the other day too I got the American V8 I'll come back to that I got the German V10 and the Italian V12 I the German V10 and the Italian V12 I need a six-cylinder you do 6 8 10 12 you [01:05:21] do in another country it's either a na Auto or the NS sex goinging back to your point so I think in our in the cars and bids office which has just this amazing lighting and is very like very Stark and cool every [01:05:34] car looks amazing it doesn't matter what it is even the Bentley is the same color as the office it's all so gray and it looks amazing well that Camry even I have one coming up on the site with 19,000 miles like a total Survivor wow [01:05:49] and uh even that looks nice down here look at this NSX look at it go I'm so happy so touch yeah keep going I love this just such a special car man that's just so sad though to like have a car it's [01:06:02] also great to have a car for that long and just to know you have to part with and just to know you have to part with it it is sad but I feel I mean 2 you know I feel Especial sad when people sell these things with seven miles and [01:06:14] you know I went through the service records of my career GT and the guy who 10 years he was doing 200 miles a year that's sad yeah that's sad that is sad this person did really enjoy this car and I think that's special it I will [01:06:27] also say it the car is however anybody wants to use it it's their car to use if they want it to sit around and look pretty and sure you're over here saying that you don't want people to mod this thing this car will be on Neons and [01:06:39] lowered in 60 days well there there are there are parameters here that I'll accept this car will be wrapped Hello Kitty pink in 60 days as long as you do what couldn't I guess I guess it has to die eventually as long as you do it I I [01:06:54] hope somebody I hope who well whoever buys it I hope this is so close to 50 I I'm not really sure there have been cops can you see if we've had any other super high Mel are there any comps to this what what was that what was that silver [01:07:06] one that we just sold the one that was just no this one so this one had1 99.97 somebody did that just to tease me so this one with 170 sold for 55 so we're like August of this year as well and this also was a manual so it's a pretty [01:07:21] that silver go to recently ended click on oh you did highest mileage you're smarter than I am this is also a hefty bidding more we've got quite a few people in here we got one two three four five people in here [01:07:35] money that na2 but that's an na2 it's not yeah it's not really Aon yeah how many people there's like five there are five get five in the last three minutes minutes ago there are more people in there Prett what did this car cost in 91 [01:07:52] I know it's there's been some inflation I don't know so you here let's look it I don't know so you here let's look it up oh we're at 5 seconds on $ 49997 this there's 50,000 60 Grand in 91 wow good course that's probably like [01:08:05] 140 Grand in today's money but still wow wow still yeah the original NSX had a starting price of $662,000 wow wow man what a cool thing [01:08:17] so rare so rare that you see is this a new bidder u26 A1 um no that that yeah that person's been bidding this is just exciting this is a special car we [01:08:29] got to keep the VIN and Carfax in like 5 years and it looks really nice too I years and it looks really nice too I mean wow for 200,000 mes look at this thing yeah I'm a huge believer in buying high mileage cars I bought my M5 with [01:08:41] high mileage on it and cuz to not have to worry about every mile you drive it depreciates and just like I agree and I'm sure you feel that anxiety all the Miles the cre GT that I bought was the highest mileage car I could find at the [01:08:53] time but even so I wish it had more yeah um I miles I wish I could have found a 30,000 M car but they don't exist nobody drives makes this car special I mean when do you ever see an NSX of 200,000 miles you [01:09:06] know it can everybody talks about how reliable it is yeah you you do have a tendency I mean your 4 GT has miles on it yeah 41,000 it's got to be in the top 2% got to be very high up there yeah you never see them come up like that 51,000 [01:09:18] correct number I suppose based on that 170,000 M car but what a cool story to be able to tell people yeah mhm what a I'd also just love to meet the guy yeah me too love to ask so many questions absolutely I would love to he's just got [01:09:32] so many memories in this car I bet this is so special is a really special car oh is it going to go for 14 13 it's getting down it hasn't been this low for a while 12 11 10 no it went to five before this bid 515 another one 515 we take a [01:09:46] question in the meantime no why don't you look at the next uh there's a GTI although I love GTI look at that GT 3 what's that all about I'll keep the NSX up on my computer please do let us let [01:09:58] us so so current generation GT3 um we call it 992 K doesn't I know it's a 992 K doesn't do 6p manual carbon bucket seats um white uh we sold another GT3 [01:10:10] recently too we've been sing a ton this astonishingly Excellent Car I love the about the ride quality and it's like yeah at low speed but once you start loading the suspension up it it's it's and it's fine and it's also a GT3 like [01:10:25] what did you expect right um but such a phenomenal car that engine is just one of the sweetest sounding engines and one of the most one of the like greatest power uh Power bands uh and of course the manual transmission is lovely to [01:10:37] Default about a GT3 other than they are very expensive col plus three pedals in this one you're right we did just sell gt3s we've sold two in the last couple of weeks 992 GT3 specifically in the [01:10:50] last couple of weeks Market's still holding strong on those cars it's coming strong it's a great car to it's a great car yeah this particular one is in car yeah this particular one is in Canada up north the great white North uh [01:11:02] and is it in Toronto where is the car Calgary Calgary all right land of where is this going before the previous decided it was too much car this [01:11:17] decided it was too much car this going um NSX is at 52 NSX is at 52 13 seconds left GT3 is still is killing it here GT3 is going tell us some of your here GT3 is going tell us some of your childhood GT3 memories okay adult GT3 [01:11:31] memories my household one thing that we can fully agree on that is extremely can fully agree on that is extremely expensive is a 992 GT3 paint to sample that we can agree can pull up what that color is Viola purple Viola purple so [01:11:46] everyone gets ultra violet yes everyone gets ultraviolet why don't more people get Viola purple metallic wow wow that's a a it stunning oh my God look at that more [01:11:58] mean it's a heinous color I would never personal but incredible this is a beautiful color I agree with you and that ultraviolet is a flat purple this is way cooler than that I agree well so what's interesting is when you're in the [01:12:11] paint to sample like thing on the Porsche configurator when you go from a flat paint to a metallic paint just the change in depth on the car is wild there just in the configurator oh yes it's so good that's generally true probably [01:12:25] ultraviolet is cheaper I would imagine no it's it's all the same it's all in that paint to sample aren't the metallic ones more expensive though no not on the GT3 it's all in that paint to sample group that's like 15,000 uh Acura NSX [01:12:37] sold for 52 NX sold for 525 congratulations goodbye to the seller after 30 years loyal service that's a special car 32 years dude bought that car at that Acura dealership in new hide Park New York drove it back [01:12:52] doing it ever since that is a special auction that is very cool congratulations on that is very very very every side GT3 with a wing not the touring painted sample Biola purple metallic Biola purple metallic and it's [01:13:05] all the same price it's all in that uh $4,750 bracket 14750 when I worked at Porsche pain sample was God I can't remember six grand things have changed [01:13:17] it also depends on the model like sometimes painted sample is cheaper and you're like why right cuz you know it's just the same it's the same on C GT it had carbon body but on like box Str cman it's cheaper what do you think paint to [01:13:30] sample plus is on a GT3 right now what even is paint to sample plus uh so paint to sample is just here's a longer list so you get you get your original paint [01:13:42] is like not really paint to sample it's just longer list of paints paint to sample plus paint to sample plus I I believe is choose the color how much that the whole thing guess guess guess 30 grand 37 180 [01:13:57] oh oh but that's real when you're on Ren list bragging about your car you get to say I did paint a sample plus yeah but the acronym is pts and what are we doing ptsp like pts with a plus sign with a plus sign meanwhile silver or or you can [01:14:14] just buy this one in white and drive it silver and drive it look at that Wing K look at that picture you see that Wing no no no no in the in the in in the the okay he's looking at he's still looking [01:14:27] at the I'm curious I'm curious y thoughts thank GT3 touring no Wing this Wing but so many people go GT3 touring I personally think it's kind of mood I love this car and I think it's amaz an amazing car I would never myself buy a [01:14:42] new a new G okay but you're being forced to buy a new gg3 are you doing a touring a touring over the wing I don't want to participate in any of that stuff I just want to be kind of lowkey wants his be to go down and he want we're doing a [01:14:55] vote we're doing a vote in the YouTube chat Wing everybody vote Yes don't vote with oh yes 75% now it says 75% now it says 100% doesn't make sense [01:15:07] make at one point it was like 75 yes 25 no then it went back to 100 yes the changed their mind um okay every how can I vote can I vot everyone says Wing Zack clapman says touring Zack I'm ignoring you I I would do the touring because I [01:15:21] it's just too much all this stuff's too much I liked Porsche I love Porsche and I truly I mean that I love the way the cars drive but I loved Porsche when Porsche was sort of the gentleman sports car where you just had I'm not a [01:15:34] gentleman well then you can have a extremely trashy and rude you can have you can have a purple one with a wing there we go Kenan Wing or no Wing K is car has a plaid interior it like is kenon it like surprise us it like speaks [01:15:48] surprise us kind of want them both I think you need I think you need one of I I cu the GT3 just traditionally does have a wing like I've it has since it part of it now admittedly the swan neck is aggressive it's a very large wing and [01:16:05] it is ridiculous but nonetheless it does it has a lot of functionality and I what the engineers the engineers intended it to have a wing fake Doug just said I want both kenon we're gonna have some people um [01:16:19] making but we're gonna have some people thinking that fake Doug is kenon wait I can post in this chat yes you can literally yes you can cuz it's fake Doug but you can post in the chat right now as real DG go there's Doug he's in the [01:16:35] chat the chat that's incredible one thing people don't know about Doug is that despite being on despite being on YouTube and having made this lusterous me with what he doesn't know about technology like once we when we showed [01:16:48] for work that he could set the background to anything he then went to pictures of it up and set me as his background and so occasionally he pulls this this card out of you as his background but he didn't know giant it [01:17:02] was just his face so I was be sitting there and this basically kenan's head incredible it was amazing experience that is I just can't you have to be careful what you teach him he's been sitting here for two hours and he's done [01:17:16] so many live shows and he just now realized the CH never looked at the chat you notice that your cursor is blinking in the chat which typically means type I know this is great he's typing he's going guys he's in the chat um okay [01:17:33] we're at 211 on the GT3 by the way this particular GT3 has 7,800 miles on it what that's so cool this is a year old car like a car drive it yeah like a good for this and he's he's not going to be penalized significantly for it based [01:17:46] be penalized significantly for it based on already where the number is um this a car this is a car that you can buy and actually be fine you're not going to lose a ton of money on a car like this this guy's C Carson this C [01:18:00] Carson person who was bidding on the on the Carson C Carson is determined to win something today C Carson wants to win today oh my goodness C Carson who are you you go see Carson hit me up somewhere and tell me who you are [01:18:13] happens sometimes we got people by and it could also be a dealer if they think that it's still under Fair yeah yeah yeah yeah cuz there's dealers see Carson it I just I'm curious just let me know we went from the cullin to the GT3 one [01:18:27] of them's bright blue one of them's white Jonathan says Jonathan marada says dealer yep and I just replied Robbie's scared he's like damn it now he knows now he knows he can chat D's chatting Reserve [01:18:41] GT3 know the reserve is off on the GT3 it's selling selling selling selling today this is so exciting oh my goodness someone just asked what's a car that [01:18:53] that's a great question doesn't come with a wing that should that is a oh you know what na Auto Su every single car should have a wing I [01:19:05] I think the Enzo should have had a wing Luca devono strongly disagreed with you every single car should have a wing Enzo that's insane um every single carival questions today but it's correct the K Carnival should have a wing that [01:19:20] stands above its roof line C Carson Carson W good for him C Carson congrats wow C Carson won C Carson if you look at his profile he's bought five cars on the site what else has he bought wow he's been on some high value metal [01:19:35] been on some high value metal m850i GT4 RS o nice Carson is a killer wait a second wa a second a crazy modded second a crazy modded 370Z wow and a Model S plaid huh wow [01:19:50] would have thrown the Z in there that's an interesting in choice but nonetheless good for this person what a great thanks for making the auctions interesting today C Carson do let's do two more [01:20:02] questions and then and then finish our lives okay disappointed you or just been unreliable yeah I'm going to sell it if you want I [01:20:16] got a 2013 Land Cruiser 100,000 Mi been sitting next to the ocean for the last 2 years it's been it's great car the only has been less reliable than I hoped it would be is the answer to the question [01:20:29] and um I can't trust it like I wanted to so I am selling the Land Cruiser probably in the spring um it actually has had an enormous amount of really good work done to it um and uh that that's that I I think it was not that [01:20:43] it's unreliable it's just that it's a 10-year-old car and I think I hoped that be Flawless and that was a stupid hope even if it's a Land Cruiser a 10-year old 100,000 M car and that's [01:20:56] works you make fun of me for taking such great care of my BMW that's how it works replaced are you suggesting that if I had taken better care of this Land Cruiser that it would be working better yeah I am because you still spent all [01:21:09] alternator failed you replaced it anyway and are you saying that if I hadn't parked it by the ocean for two years and didn't drive it for that same amount of ocean for 2 years that it would be doing better than argue that that's taking [01:21:24] great care of it because the car got to look at the ocean two years yes yes I would argue that that is great for the car's mental health yes how about that K the ocean for two years no one bothers [01:21:37] me no one drives to be fair it was cold okay but I mean still it was quite cold it's a tiny island in the North Atlantic that's okay that's okay not we're ignoring the temperature um okay what else what else [01:21:52] what else uh Nate someone put said put the Carrera GT on the ocean I thought it said in the ocean the I was a little worried hey how do you think it got here Nate why does a Doug own a Spiker C8 I want to end on this question it's the [01:22:05] Spiker C8 is radically undervalued everybody should go buy one kenon this at dinner this week where we were just like talking about it together and something and I just reviewed one recently right it's just so undervalued [01:22:18] for what it is it's such a special and unique and odd and cool and fun to drive sit around talking about how Harry metf had a Zonda that he paid 200 for and brilliant now it's worth 5 million and I think that the Spiker C8 I don't if it's [01:22:33] super low production really really cool crazy looking relatively reliable because it's got an Audi powertrain and and you did your market cap analysis based on there's only 390 of these things yeah I mean a rare car the answer [01:22:46] your question dat I'm going to go out and buy one right now goodbye everyone no but really that's the end can [01:23:07] why last is this is the last live show of last is this is the last live show of the Year wow so our our crew is coming no I had no idea no one told me this nice thank you Fon we're goodbye everyone bye this may not actually be the last live show we may do [01:23:45] actually be the last live show we may do one next week bye
