[0:00] YouTube just released a brand new [0:01] algorithm update for YouTube Shorts. And [0:03] this doesn't only affect YouTube Shorts, [0:04] this affects all of YouTube. So, you [0:06] need to make sure that you're adapting [0:08] to the new strategies for how to get [0:09] more views, how to get more subscribers, [0:11] and ultimately how to monetize your [0:12] YouTube in 2026. And don't worry because [0:15] I'm going to walk you through the five [0:16] changes you need to make right now in [0:18] this video that just helped this [0:19] creator, this creator, and this creator [0:21] all gain over 100,000 subscribers. And [0:23] they're going to help you, too, so long [0:25] as you don't skip any of them. Change [0:26] number one is you need to understand [0:28] what direction YouTube is actually going [0:30] in. And in order to show this to you, I [0:32] wanted to show you what YouTube looks [0:33] like now. Okay. So, here's what I really [0:36] want to emphasize to you. If we come [0:37] over here to the YouTube homepage right [0:39] here, what you are going to notice, the [0:40] first thing that I am getting shown are [0:42] three videos right here, long form [0:44] videos. And two of these, guess what? [0:46] Are non-sponsored videos. This one is a [0:49] sponsored video. And then the rest of [0:50] the content that shows up here is going [0:52] to be shorts. And guess what? I don't [0:54] even engage with shorts. I don't watch [0:56] shorts. And then if we come down a [0:57] little bit more, we're going to see more [0:58] long form. We're going to see more long [1:00] form and then more shorts. And if we [1:02] look at this, what you're going to [1:03] notice is there are more shorts getting [1:05] shown to people than long form content. [1:08] And guess what? This is on a computer. [1:10] If you come over to a mobile device, [1:12] it's even worse. People are getting [1:13] shown more shorts. Now, I'm not saying [1:15] that it's worse in the case that this is [1:17] bad for YouTube. I'm saying it's worse [1:19] in the case that you're only uploading [1:21] long- form content. Now, let's say that [1:23] we come over here and we do a search for [1:25] something. For example, how to add text [1:27] in video cap cut. Now, what you're going [1:29] to see is that when we do a search for [1:31] this, one long form video gets shown and [1:33] then the rest of the content that's [1:35] going to show here is going to be [1:36] shorts. And I want you to look at [1:38] something right here because this will [1:39] actually tell you what people are [1:41] actually clicking on, what people are [1:42] actually watching. This long form video [1:44] ranking number one literally by Cap Cut [1:47] has 89,000 views. This video almost [1:50] 550,000. This video 430,000. This video [1:55] 460,000. This video 568,000. [1:58] This video 28,000. If we come in here [2:01] 393,000, [2:03] 68,000 3 million. So what kind of [2:05] content do you think that people are [2:07] actually watching when they go to search [2:09] for something? They are not watching [2:10] this long form content anymore. They are [2:12] now watching shorts. And you need to [2:14] make sure that in 2026 you are doubling [2:17] down not only on ranking for search with [2:20] YouTube shorts but also that you are [2:22] doubling down on uploading more YouTube [2:24] shorts. In fact, the biggest creators on [2:27] the platform are now prioritizing this. [2:29] Now change number two is you need to [2:31] make sure that you begin ranking for [2:32] search with YouTube shorts. And there [2:34] are several reasons that you need to do [2:35] this. One short show up more than [2:37] anything else on mobile devices. two [2:39] LLMs like Google Gemini, Chat, Chippy, [2:41] Claude, they actually go through and [2:43] reference shorts more than long form [2:45] content because in a lot of cases shorts [2:47] deliver on the promise a lot earlier. [2:49] Now, if you want to rank for search [2:51] right now, there's essentially two [2:52] things that you need to be focused on [2:54] and I want to walk you through exactly [2:55] what these things are because one of [2:57] them is going to be the metadata on your [2:58] post and the second is going to be [3:00] making sure that you're using keyword [3:02] research the right way. Now, the first [3:04] key to being able to rank for search [3:05] with YouTube Shorts is you need to make [3:07] sure that you have your metadata set up [3:09] correctly. If we come over here, this [3:10] video right here is ranking for YouTube [3:13] settings. And the reason that it's [3:14] ranking for YouTube settings is if I do [3:16] control find and I type in YouTube [3:18] setting, you're going to notice that [3:19] shows up one time in the title that [3:22] shows up two times in the description. I [3:24] have YouTube setting right here. And [3:26] then I also have YouTube settings in the [3:28] next sentence. So, if you want your [3:30] stuff to actually rank on YouTube [3:33] search, you need to make sure that one, [3:34] the keyword shows once in the title. [3:37] Two, the keyword shows twice in the [3:39] description. And if we come down here to [3:41] the tags, you're going to notice that it [3:43] shows more than five times. And you need [3:45] to make sure that the same exact thing [3:47] is happening in your content. Now, one [3:48] of my secret weapons for being able to [3:50] do this is Vid IQ. In fact, that's [3:51] what's giving me these title suggestions [3:53] right here. That's what's giving me this [3:55] description suggestion. And that's [3:56] what's telling me exactly what tags I [3:58] should be putting in my video because [4:00] Vid IQ allows you to very easily use AI [4:03] in order to figure out exactly what [4:05] title, what description, what tags you [4:07] should be using for specific keywords. [4:09] In fact, if we come over here into the [4:11] description details right here, what we [4:13] could actually see is that if we click [4:15] on this, we could tell it what our video [4:17] is about, what our target keyword is, [4:19] what emotion we want, and this actually [4:20] goes through and then optimizes all [4:22] those different things for us to be able [4:25] to rank for search. In addition to that, [4:26] if we come over to vidiq.com and we come [4:29] over here to discover, you're going to [4:30] see keywords right here. And what this [4:33] is going to show us is exactly how many [4:35] people are searching for things. For [4:36] example, if I type in faceless [4:38] Instagram, we can see 10,000 people are [4:40] searching for this a month. This then [4:41] gives me related keywords. It gives me [4:43] questions around this. It gives me [4:45] matching keywords. And this is going to [4:47] tell me how easy it's going to be to [4:49] rank for this term and how many people [4:51] are actually going to be searching for [4:52] it. In addition to that, if we scroll [4:54] down right here, this is then going to [4:55] show us all the different trending video [4:57] down here that we could actually make [5:00] content like. And as you can see, there [5:02] are tons of videos. And then basically [5:03] all you're doing is creating content [5:05] with the title or the description or the [5:09] thumbnail or on the topic. And then [5:11] guess what that does? It increase the [5:12] odds that you're going to be able to [5:14] rank for search. And Vid IQ is a secret [5:16] weapon to being able to figure that all [5:17] really easily from one dashboard. The [5:21] best part about Vid IQ is you could go [5:22] to the pin comment below right now and [5:23] get started with it today for only $1. [5:25] This is an exclusive offer for my [5:27] audience. And guess what? I would have [5:28] never gained over 800,000 subscribers if [5:30] it wasn't for Vid IQ. Because my secret [5:32] to growing has been ranking for search [5:34] and Vid IQ is the only tool that makes [5:36] this incredibly easy to do. Not only [5:38] because they do the keyword research, [5:40] but also because they help you fix your [5:42] metadata. So, what are you waiting for? [5:43] Go to the pin comment below and register [5:45] for it right now. Now, the next thing [5:46] you need to make sure you're doing is [5:48] you need to make sure that you're [5:49] actually turning your viewers into [5:51] subscribers because not only is this [5:52] going to get you your 100K plaque or [5:54] your million plaque a lot quicker than [5:56] if you didn't do it, it's also going to [5:58] help your videos get pushed out more. [6:00] And here's the perfect way to do it. So, [6:02] when it comes to actually getting [6:03] subscribers from your viewers, you need [6:05] to make sure you have a call to action [6:06] in your content. You need to make sure [6:08] that you're getting anywhere from a 2 to [6:09] 5% conversion rate. So, if you get 1,000 [6:12] views, you should get 2 to 5% of [6:14] followers from that, which is going to [6:16] be anywhere from 20 to 50 subscribers [6:18] from just 1,000 views. Now, if we come [6:21] into my content, this is literally gets [6:23] really obvious when I've used it and [6:25] when I don't. So, if we click on this [6:26] video right here, we can see 1.7 million [6:28] views. This video gained me 34,000 [6:31] subscribers. Now, if we come down a [6:33] little bit, let's say that we look at [6:34] this video right here that got a million [6:35] views. This one only got me 4,000 [6:37] subscribers. And the sole reason for [6:39] that is because I did not put a call to [6:41] action in this video. And in the other [6:43] video, I had a call to action. Now, to [6:45] double down what I was showing you [6:47] earlier, I want to point something out. [6:48] If we look at this video right here, 1.9 [6:51] million views. This video is getting [6:52] almost all of its traffic from search. [6:54] If we come over to this video right [6:56] here, 1.7 million views. Once again, [6:59] most of its traffic from search. If we [7:01] come over to this video right here, 1.6 [7:03] million views, most of the traffic [7:04] coming from search. If we come into this [7:06] video right here, again, 1.3 million [7:08] views, most of the traffic from search. [7:10] So essentially, what you're trying to do [7:12] is rank for search on YouTube, have a [7:14] good call to action at the end, and that [7:16] needs to be related to whatever the goal [7:18] of your viewers are. For example, if I [7:19] look at all of these shorts right here [7:21] that have gotten over a million views, [7:22] they're all about growing faster on [7:24] YouTube. So, what I would do is simply [7:25] just end the video in the last 3 seconds [7:27] and say, "If you want to grow faster on [7:29] YouTube, hit that subscribe button." And [7:30] then 2 to 5% of the people that watch [7:33] that video are going to hit that. That's [7:34] why I've been able to gain so many [7:36] subscribers. Now, the last thing that we [7:38] need to cover now that you know how to [7:40] get more views, how to get more reach, [7:41] and how to turn those views into [7:43] subscribers is how you actually monetize [7:45] YouTube shorts. And I actually found out [7:46] this method years ago, but I'm going to [7:48] tell you about it today. Okay. So, if we [7:51] look at my YouTube content, here's how [7:52] I'm actually doing this. If we come over [7:54] here and we type in Robert Benjamin, [7:56] what we're going to see is that several [7:59] different shorts pop up. For example, [8:00] this one right here, how to go viral on [8:02] Tik Tok. If we click on this video right [8:03] here, what you are going to notice is if [8:06] I pause it, we are pointing out to this [8:09] related video right here. And if we skip [8:10] to the end of the video, I say that if [8:12] you want to get started with this, click [8:14] this video here. And then if we click [8:16] over here, what you're going to notice [8:17] is that this is a long form video. But [8:19] more importantly, this is a super short [8:22] long- form video. It's only 2 minutes [8:23] long. And we could see right here that [8:25] I've driven a few thousand views to this [8:27] video. And essentially, the only point [8:29] of this video is to get people to click [8:31] the link in the description here or to [8:33] click the link in the pin comment. And [8:35] guess what? This is actually driving [8:37] additional signups for this tool right [8:39] here, Metricool. And I'm not only using [8:41] it for sponsorship deals, I'm also using [8:44] it for other stuff. Now, something you [8:45] want to make sure that you're doing when [8:46] you're actually implementing a strategy [8:48] like this is you want to make sure that [8:49] you're coming through and replying to [8:51] every single one of these comments right [8:52] here because guess what that does? It [8:53] increases the odds that people actually [8:55] end up going with this. Now, if we come [8:57] over to another one of my videos that [8:59] I've uploaded, for example, this one [9:00] right here, 1.9 million views. We could [9:02] see that if I click on the related [9:04] video, it's going to bring us over here. [9:05] Now, look at this video. This one has [9:07] gotten over 50,000 views. And again, we [9:09] could see that the goal of this is to [9:11] drive people to my programs right here. [9:14] And this is exactly what you should be [9:15] doing. Whether it's for sponsorship [9:17] deals, affiliate offers, for your own [9:19] program, you should be using a related [9:21] video that's going to have a pitch in [9:22] it. And then you can actually put a pin [9:24] comment in here because you can't put a [9:25] comment in YouTube shorts, but this is a [9:27] way for you to still get a lot of views [9:29] from YouTube Shorts, drive that traffic [9:32] over to long form and be able to [9:34] monetize people. Now, if you're still [9:36] struggling to grow on YouTube, it's [9:37] probably because one, you just haven't [9:38] implemented the things I shared with you [9:40] in this video, or two, you need some [9:41] personalized one-on-one help. That's [9:43] exactly what I want to offer you. In [9:44] fact, I want to help you grow faster on [9:45] YouTube by telling you everything you [9:47] need to do differently. what to do [9:48] differently with your titles, what kind [9:50] of content you should create, how you [9:51] should fix your videos, and so much [9:53] more. If that sounds interesting, well, [9:54] please check out this video right here [9:56] that walks you through three different [9:57] ways we can work together one-on-one, [9:59] and I can help you grow faster on [10:00] YouTube the same exact way I help this [10:01] creator, this creator, and this creator [10:03] skyrocket their growth. I'll see you [10:05] over there.
