[00:07] you how I execute my trades cleanly with the help of edge flow with the trade guard with the trade management panel with the risk panel everything in here to give me the tools necessary to execute trades fast without guesswork [00:22] without emotion without second guessing myself whatsoever. Okay. So this is where the action happens. And what I found over time is that execution is where traders lose money. It's not analysis, but it's execution. Some [00:37] people they hesitate before they enter for the buy or sell a position. Some sit there, wait for the perfect condition and then when the condition do trade and as a result they miss out on the trade ideal. Some people they enter [00:52] too late. Some people they enter too early. Right? So today I'm just going to walk you through the exact step-by-step execution flow, how I personally enter trades, and how I use the guardrails in here to prevent me from like making [01:05] stupid mistakes, right? From prevent me from going into this downward spiral from going into this downward spiral where I take more unnecessary losses. come on to the trading panel, make sure you pin your favorite currency pairs, [01:18] trading. So just press this right here and then you can just pin it into your watch list. And if you press this, it can filter out all the currency pairs this allows me to really just focus on [01:30] the currency pairs that's on my watch list itself. Now once that's done, I like to really go and check whether there's any crazy volatility level in the market right now so I don't get in at a bad price. And that means checking [01:42] this panel right here, get to know my currency pair a little bit more and find out that okay, what's the spread right here? If the spread is zero to one pips, even two pips, it's kind of stretching [01:56] pips is like a no-go. Okay? And right now, I'm using like a raw account on my broker. So, there's pretty much like zero to no spread whatsoever. So, once before you enter for the trade, like I said, go through your trade plan, go [02:11] through your entry criteria, determine whether this is a a setup or it's a A+ want to risk a little bit more. If it's not a it's not a plus setup, then it's a no trade. Okay? That means stay out of the market itself. And before I start [02:25] trading, I want to make sure that I'm checking my guard rails. I think a good analogy for this is checking your brakes before you start driving. You know, make sure that your brakes are working because if not on the road, you're going [02:38] you are not going to be able to stop yourself at the right time and then It's the same thing right here. Guard rails are essentially the tools that we have given you to prevent you from overtrading, prevent you from [02:53] revenge trading, prevent you from trading outside your trading window and so on and so forth. Right? So you want to check them. Okay. So I'm just going to quickly go through how I personally like to set these guardrails. The first [03:05] thing is I like to set my max trades today to around five trades, right? Ideally two trades to be honest with you, right? Sometimes five trades if I'm keep it within the two to five trades range. Depends on on my mood to be [03:17] honest with you. Depends on my psychology. Depends on my risk tolerance for that particular day itself. So usually the reason why you set this is than this amount, right? You don't want to overtrade. If you start winning [03:29] profits that you make back to the market. If you start losing trades, you don't want to revenge trade, right? So set the max trades rule and then the trading window. For me personally, I like to set it at the London Q zone [03:41] itself. For this particular example, I just set it at like a random time to show you. And then over here, this is where you can set your max logs, max loss, and also your max profit target. Okay, so for me, I like to set my max [03:54] loss at 2% of my account itself. So right now, my account have around like 3 million. And then this is where my max loss will be at 60K. And then my daily profit will be around 5%. Okay, so this will be 5% of 3 mil that will be around [04:10] 150K. So once again this will really depend on your risk tolerance. It depends on your personality depends on so many variables. So I suggest you that it suits your trading style. So it's your trading goals your personality [04:24] or risk tolerance and so on and so forth. Right? So yeah, those are the guardrails that really protect you, that save you from yourself because we all start getting emotional [snorts] and now the emotional part of the brain override [04:37] the logical part of the brain and now we are taking some stupid trades, right? And this prevents you from doing that, right? This pre allows you to stay grounded and following your trade plan. That's it. And if you exit any of these [04:51] guardrails, right? For example, you start to exit the max trades rule or you start to exit the max loss rule. So today I take a trade and I lose and I lose about 65k. What happens is that this trade button right here, it will [05:03] automatically be grayed out. Okay. So when it gets grayed out, what this means is that you will not be able to continue trading. Edgeflow is literally preventing you from continue breaking your rules, but you can override it. [05:16] Right? If you press the grade out trade button, you will see like a pop-up model that say, "Hey, you have breached your guardrails. Do you want to override it? it. And if you override it, you can continue trading. But this also means [05:29] that we will document the rubric, the violation of the gut rule inside your trading journal. So that you can actually review your trading performance been undisiplined for today. And this give you the awareness to, you know, [05:42] future, right? Not violate your trade plan, not violate your rules. So yeah, said, it's just like checking your brakes before you start driving. So very very important. Now the next thing is I'm ready to [05:57] out my charts. You know I've you know determined my trade ideal. I've enter for a buy. Let's say I enter for a buy right here. So this is where I'm asking myself you know is it a sell or is a plus setup. If it's a a setup then [06:11] I want to be risking maybe 0.5%. If it's a A+ setup then I want to be risking 1%. And once again you should be able to customize your ideal your default risk per trade in your settings. Right. So for me personally, I like to stick to 1% [06:26] per trade. Okay, that's my rule. I stick to a consistent risk per trade, just 1% per trade. But like I said, some people they might prefer like a variable risk per trade where they risk 0.5% on a setup and 1% on a A+ setup, right? So [06:39] based on their conviction, based on their confidence. So let's say today I want to enter for a sell position right here. Okay? So this is where I start just going to enter for like a market order. This is where I'll place my stop [06:54] which is let's say like around this 1.189 level right here and then I'll place my takeprofit maybe all the way down here at this 1.183 right once again just to show you an example 1.183. So the minute you do that, what happens is [07:09] that edge flow automatically calculate the lot size based on your risk per distance, right? So it's telling you that hey man, you should be using this lot size so that you are sticking to your risk per trade, right? So that when [07:23] you lose this trade, you lose about 30k max. That's it. Okay? And it also allows max. That's it. Okay? And it also allows you to visualize your risk to draw, right? To really see whether this is a trade worth taking. If you watched the [07:35] take trade setups which pre present like a asymmetric risk-to-ro ratio. Which means that at a minimum I need to make sure that I'm getting twice in return to how much I'm risking. Right? So I want to make sure that I'm [07:49] getting $20 if I'm risking $10. Right? That's the bare minimum itself. Now like I said, if you want to adjust your risk per trade, right? You can do so by let's say you want to change it to 1.5. So you put it to 1.5 and you can see [08:02] your lot size will automatically compute again automatically update based on your adjustment of your risk per trade or if you want to go to 0.5 you can do so as well right so what is example let me just go back to default which is just 1% [08:16] just stick to 1% per trade itself okay so that's pretty much how I kind of like manage my trade I want to make sure that I'm entering at the right lot size and just stick to your risk per trade in your settings, place your stop loss, [08:31] place your takeprofit, visualize your RR, and if everything is good, then you can just start to enter for a sell right here. Okay, so the minute you enter for a sell, this is where this post trade emotion model thing will pop up right [08:44] your emotion fresh like literally right after you enter for the trade. So this I'm actually super calm right now. I'm following my plan. Okay, so when you will get saved in your trading journal. So that later on when you review a [08:59] trading journal, you can see what you're feeling when you're in ahead of the for the trade itself. So that's pretty much where I spend majority of my time this. Not not majority of my time, majority of my time is spent analyzing [09:14] opportunity. But like when I'm when it's personally execute. And there are other stuff inside Edge Flow that is really really cool that everybody want to like showcase to you to allow you to trade [09:27] faster. Okay, once again trade faster means execute faster. Doesn't mean you should still take your time to make the right decisions to plan for the trade. trade, you want to get in at the best time so that you can minimize the [09:41] spread. You can minimize like the commissions and you can like really capitalize on the large move that is about to happen. And there's one too you click on this purple lightning thing, this is where you will pop up the [09:53] oneclick trading model. So this is very useful especially for sculpers, right? this stuff. You just want to come in here, enter the lot size, boom, 50 lot, sell, boom. That is where you can easily just get in very very fast just like [10:06] the tools that I just showed you right here, you can al also expand the oneclick trading model and you can place a stop loss, take profit, uh let's say and once again it will automatically calculate the lot size. And then let's [10:20] calculate the lot size. And then let's say we place at 1.19 or something. Yeah. So same thing right here. Very very cool oneclick trading tool. You can just use collapse all of this. If you really want to just focus, you can just yeah just [10:33] oneclick trading model. That's it, right? Fully get locked in on the charts itself. Boom. Bam. Sell here. Another one. Boom. Okay, cool. Yeah. So, that's it. Now, another thing that is very very cool, if you're trading a large position [10:48] size, what you can potentially do is to use our function called autosplit orders. Let me just use like a humongous lots, right? Let's use 500 lots. Okay? So, let's say today I want to use 500 lots. And traditionally, if you go on to [11:02] MetaTrader 4 or any execution platform, they only allow you to execute 200 lots at a time, right? Or 50 lots at a time, right? Certain brokers will have certain restrictions, right? But no broker out there will just allow you to execute 500 [11:17] lots at in a single position unless they are like really special. So on edge flow, you can actually do that, right? as on edge flow if you put 500 lots what we actually have is this function of autosplitting the 500 lots into three [11:31] child orders right so if you press this button right here let me just show you what happens is that now you enter into one huge position 500 lots just like one huge position 500 lots just like this right and you can see it's based on [11:45] like the max lots based on each position right because in this particular case my broker is only limiting me to execute 200 100 lots for each position. So I can execute 500 lots and I want to do it one time. I don't want to press 200 lots [12:00] time. And I want to do it really really fast. So I can just use this autosplit order function in Edgeflow and it just split my entire 500 lots order into three different positions and it all adds up to 500 lots. Okay, so if I want [12:16] to close it, I can just close it at one go just like this. Okay, very very cool feature that we have right here. if you are trading large position size. Now once again just a reminder these tools allow you to speed up execution not your [12:30] decision making. Now let's go through how to close position. Okay so let's say I'm done trading today right and price have not hit my stop loss price have not hit my take profit and I want to just manually close my position. Obviously [12:42] every single trader will have different trade management style. Some people they people they like to close partial profits. Some people like to close the entire position. Some people like to you know like close only profitable [12:55] positions and in edge flow we take into account every single one of these use single one of these trade management style. So let's say you want to trail your stop loss you can go to the position that you want to trade your [13:07] to trade my stop loss for this position itself. I can modify press this modify stop loss. Right? So let's say I want to change my stop loss to 1.187 instead. [13:19] Right? So I press click. Now your stop loss will be adjusted to 1.187 around loss will be adjusted to 1.187 around here. Okay. So now you can just continue continue to modify a stop loss based on the rules. The another thing that people [13:33] like to do is to close partial profits or close a portion of their position. So maybe price come all the way down here. They don't want to, you know, close the half. So what they can do is to press close the position right here and you [13:47] can close just half of the position right so let's say you close half okay right so let's say you close half okay so if you close half just like this boom position there as you can see this notification right here all right so [13:59] only half of the position has been closed not the entire position only half of it or let's say you want to close only losing positions right you can also do so right here right you can only exit losing positions you can exit profitable [14:12] positions only or you can even exit a position based on the currency symbol, right? Based on the currency pair, based on the instrument, right? So, if today I let's say I have a bunch of trades on EU, GU, GJ, and I only want to trade [14:24] this button right here. Okay? Let's say I'm done trading for the day and I decide to close all my position itself, right? So, I press exit all positions trade right here. And the minute I do that, this is where I can take the [14:38] emotion based on the trade that I've closed, right? So if I close the you can see right here. This is where I can choose the emotion that I feel right now since I got off the position itself. [14:50] rather not the reason but also like the notes that is stacked to that trade itself. Right? And all of this stuff will be automatically computed into your trading journal. Okay. So as you can see right here in this particular case, all [15:04] is something that I wanted to demonstrate for you actually. But you rate rule, right? because we took about six trades in total and today we are So now you can see the entire trade button is grayed out. So if you want you [15:20] to continue trading but I can't right trading is blocked to the rule violations and if you press on it you can override it right but highly suggest rules for a reason. You are trading on edge flow for a reason. Uh but if you [15:34] want to you can continue trading itself. Yeah. So that's pretty much it from top to bottom entry to exit. Like I said, this is what professional execution looks like. You first you look at your rules, you review your trade plan, you [15:48] identify your A+ setup. Once that's present, you execute your trades very the various methods that I just showed you right here. And before you do, you that you follow your risk management parameters at all time. And then once [16:03] you do, you can execute, take your emotions, exit the position based on And then once done, you can go on to journal and you can review your trade. lesson itself and I'll see you in the next lesson. Chess.
