## Summary

This video explores WAP clipping, a method where brands pay creators to post short clips on social media. The creator explains how it works, shares their own earnings test, and reveals an AI-powered strategy to scale output. It's a practical guide for anyone looking to monetize short-form content without needing a monetized channel.

### Key Points

- **What is WAP Clipping** [00:30] — WAP clipping involves brands paying you to post clips on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. You don't need to be monetized to earn, and CPMs are often higher than Shorts.
- **Revenue Potential** [00:47] — Campaigns pay $0.50 to $4.00 per 1,000 views. A clip stuck at 30k views on a non-monetized channel can still earn $90–$100.
- **Choosing Campaigns** [02:04] — Before joining a campaign, check the budget and how much is filled, the owner's payout history, and the cap per clip. Low caps limit earnings regardless of virality.
- **Approval and Account Setup** [03:04] — Read campaign requirements carefully. Mismatched niches often lead to rejected clips. Warm up new accounts for a week before posting to avoid spam flags.
- **Hands-On Test** [03:58] — The creator joined a gaming campaign with a $1 CPM and $3,000 budget. They spent 2–3 hours making a skit, which earned $5 at 5,000 views.
- **The Clipping Reality** [06:42] — Most campaigns ask you to clip existing content (podcasts, streams) rather than create from scratch. The key is finding viral moments, which is time-consuming.
- **AI-Powered Strategy** [07:27] — Use AI tools to upload long-form videos, automatically extract viral moments, and generate clips. This reduces production time from hours to under 30 minutes.
- **Editing Workflow** [09:11] — In the editor, reframe vertically, add subtitles, pick background music, and insert viral footage. The creator used an AI tool called 'what's way in video' with 200 free credits for new users.

### Conclusion

WAP clipping offers a realistic side income, but success depends on choosing the right campaigns and using efficient tools like AI clipping to scale output. The creator's test earned $5 from one clip, showing the potential when combined with a smart strategy.

## Transcript

For the last six months I've been hearing a lot about this WAP clipping money making module. So I dug down deeper, I looked at how it actually works, figured out what is only a waste of time on WAP and what are the best and most efficient ways to make money in this industry,
and even tried making money myself. So in this video, as a guy who educates on making money online, I'll show you how to start it, how much money I made myself from trying it, what is a realistic amount you can make per month and my current best strategy that I found to make money
with WAP clipping. So the way WAP clipping works is basically brands and creators run campaigns on WAP where they pay you to post clips on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. It's basically like trying to make money with YouTube Shorts but you don't need to get monetized to earn. And what's even
better is that most of the times the revenue per thousand views you get is way bigger than what you see on Shorts. The campaigns usually vary from 50 cents to sometimes even 3 to 4 dollars per
thousand views, which is ridiculous when you think about it. You could post a short that gets flatlined in the 30k view jail on a channel that isn't even monetized and still walk away with 90
or 100 bucks off that one clip. So there are people actually making hundreds of dollars a day in the States. But they're also going to be people who struggle to make even a few hundred from clipping and after researching and trying it myself I realized whether you
are the one who prints or the one who doesn't make enough for a lunch meal comes down to your strategy what campaign you choose and how fast and efficient you are at making those clips so now that you know what clipping is let
me show you how to actually start making money here first what you need to do is just type WAP into Google and sign up after that press the discover button and and click on Clipping.
And here you'll see all of the running campaigns. You can sort and filter them based on their budget, their CPM and so on. There's a big catalog and looking at it for the first time it can feel overwhelming.
It's hard to understand which campaigns to choose, which ones to avoid and where to even start. But this part is one of the most crucial things if you want to make good money with Clipping. So start not by looking at how much they pay you,
but at what budget they have and how much of it is already filled. Because if a campaign's budget is already trading past, even a clip that blows up might not just pay the full amount. Next thing to actually check is whether the campaign owner
has a history of paying out. You can see how much a campaign has already paid, and honestly, that's one of the biggest sells. If a campaign's been running and the paid out number is barely moving, perhaps you're starting to stay away.
And the last thing you need to look at is cap per clip. A lot of campaigns cap how much a single clip can earn And if that cap is really low it doesn matter how viral you go you hitting a ceiling every time Now there is one more thing that rips beginners up constantly and it on the approval side Every campaign has different
requirements, so you need to read them carefully before applying and dedicating hours to create content for them. But most campaigns have a few requirements in common. For example, if your account has been posting content in a completely different niche, there's a good chance
your clips won't get approved. And that actually makes sense. If your page was posting cooking videos and you suddenly drop a crypto clip, the algorithm doesn't know who to show it to, or it swaps, and the brand doesn't get the audience they are paying for. So it's way
harder to run a two separate account, each one built around a specific clipping niche, instead of throwing every kind of clip onto one page. And one quick tip, don't spin up a brand
new account and immediately start blasting clips. Warm it up for a week first, scroll like two things in that niche, post once a day to start, or else the platform might flag you as a spam.
So now that you know the theory I want to demonstrate you, I'll now hop into one of the campaigns and we'll see how much I made from it by the end of this video. So the first thing I did, I cancelled current campaigns and found this enabled video game store campaign with $1 per
per thousand views CPM. The budget is $3,000. The campaign is still far from filling up. I checked the max payouts and it was $250. I also checked the requirements and saw potential
in this campaign. Their main goal was to show their score and funny discount codes through an entertaining skit. And since I already had a gaming robot short channel from the past, this was already ideal for me. So I joined the campaign by pressing this button
and immediately go straight to work. I wrote the script for the script, recorded the gameplay, generated the voiceover with 11 labs, and threw everything together into edit. The whole thing took me around 2-3 hours,
and this is what I ended up with. While I was walking through this already nostalgic dead game lobby, I found a secret that even the players were scared of. It all started because I'd always wanted to get these diamonds in 99.9, but Robux were way too expensive for me.
So out of pure curiosity, I typed in chat, Does anyone know some kind of key code for Robux? And bro, Like nobody said a word. I don't know if they all collectively pooped their pants because they thought I was some undercover Roblox and no spy. Or if nobody actually knew anything. Then one guy suddenly said,
Sorry, I need to go to school. Fine. Ro was gone. At this point, I was convinced he knew the secret, but was too scared of getting tested for Roblox Prism. But then another guy dropped the most suspicious message of all. The 67 discount code is insane. Huh? Bro, where do I even put the 67 code?
Nobody answered me, so obviously I had to start digging through the internet like a detective with absolutely nothing better to do. And then I found something crazy. From the video game store in Neva, I found Robux cards with a discount code button. So I typed 67 like I was some kind of secret agent unlocking a government vault and it worked I got 68 cents off my Robux Was it worth skipping work today Absolutely I followed it to YouTube copied the link and immediately went back to the web and another campaign to submit the clip
Before pasting the link, I made sure my account was linked. One important thing to keep in mind is that you need to submit the link within 30 minutes of uploading the video. So I pasted the link, submitted the clip and now all that's left to do is wait and see
what happens. So while I was waiting on that first clip, I stopped just 50. safety. Okay this worked but there's no way this is the best way to do it right? Making a whole shit from scratch took me two or three hours for one single clip. And the thing about flipping is
that people actually renting in this space aren't posting one clip. They're posting five ten something more every single day across multiple accounts. But there is no way we are filming a trash shit every time. So I went looking for what they were actually doing and here's what I found.
Most of the campaigns on VOP aren't even asking you to make something from scratch like I did. They're asking you to clip. That's why it's called clipping. Someone hands you their podcast or their stream footage and your job is to just pull out the moments that have viral potential,
cut them, add subtitles and post. No script, no filming, no voice-over. But there's one catch that stops most people from ever catching on this. To find those viral moments you've normally got to sit through hours of someone's podcast or stream.
and most of the time it's a topic you don't even care about. It's painful, it's slow and it's the single biggest thing killing your output when the whole game is posting as much as it can. But this is where I think I found one of the best strategies for flipping.
Here's how you can get around this completely. So I'm sure you've seen those AI tools where you upload a long form video and the AI goes through the entire thing, finds the moments with a high viral potential and automatically turns them into short-form clips. These tools
were originally designed for content creators to repurpose their long-form videos into shorts and just more reach. But there is no reason we can't use the exact same idea for flipping, right?
Just start by filtering out clipping campaigns and look for podcast or streamer campaigns. I found two examples. One is a podcast with Brian Johnson and another is some final streamer.
And I'd say that the pay for sales and views on Brian's podcast campaign is a bit too low. But Brian is a well-known celebrity on YouTube. And it's way easier to get views from clipping him.
And the topics are way more interesting and have bigger viral potential. So I chose his campaign. I downloaded the podcast and uploaded it to my AI tool. I was asked what I wanted to do with the footage.
So I clicked AI clipping. I chose the clip length between 30 to 60 seconds. But before choosing I would recommend checking the requirements because there might be a length written and the saw you need to match I pressed the create wire flip button and got 42 clips from the podcast In the left corner of each clip you can see a viral scope which sometimes can be
helpful but most of the time it says nothing. What you should do instead to check if the clip has viral potential is to read the topics and actually look at the clips. I checked a few and found the one I thought was the best and pressed the little button open in editor and this is where
the real magic happen. Firstly, I went on the reframe feature and made the video vertical. I also turned the auto-recrame feature on because without it, you would have to recrame the face manually so it would be in frame. With the this button on, I now automatically track the face and
keeps it centered. After this was done, I went to subtitles and changed the style of it. After that, the very important thing to make the video wireless sounds. It dictates the tempo, enhances the emotion. So you need to pick the right track based on the emotion of the video. And from my own
experience, searching for the right track can sometimes take a lot of time. So I gathered and picked a few popular tracks that people use on showroom platforms like Instagram, YouTube and TikTok and categorized them by the topic or emotion the short has. So I'll leave the link for it in
the description in case you want to download. So I uploaded my music and lowered the volume. And lastly, I added some viral footage in some places to make the video feel more alive and entertaining. And this is how the clip turned out, which I made literally in less than 30 minutes.
We were trying to use a microplastic, it's a big deal. We measured microplastics in my blood and also in my ejaculate. Because there was a study that showed that 100% of men had microplastics in their ejaculate and in their blood.
Yes, the editing was on some kind of insane professional level, but it doesn't have to be like that. What's important is that the actual content and idea would be interesting. And being able to find it in a few clicks and know-hours is a game changer.
If you were wondering what tool I used, it's what's way in video. And if you want to try it out yourself, I left the link in the description. New users can get 200 free credits, so I would definitely recommend checking it out.
If you want me to try web clipping for 30 days and see how much I will make, let me know in the comments. But for now, you can watch how I tried YouTube Shorts for 30 days. Video is on the screen, click to watch it.
Oh, and for those who were wondering how much I made from that campaign, now the video sits at 5000 views, meaning the pay is 5 dollars.
