[00:00] When it comes to being a content creator, the most important thing that you can do is to get out of your own way. So what I mean by that is we tend to, because we're creatives, think that everything has to be perfect in some way. We have to make sure that everything looks a certain way. [00:12] We've got to make sure that everything's framed perfectly and all of that. And all of those things have their place. They are important in a lot of circumstances. But these days, you can make a video on your phone sitting in a car and it can get hundreds of thousands or tens of thousands or even millions of views. [00:24] So because of that, it's really important to just get out of your own way. Instead of thinking, okay, everything has to be this perfect certain way in order for me to publish this, start thinking to yourself, okay, what value do I have and what message can I share with people and what value can I add to others? [00:38] Regardless of how I do it, how can I just do that at scale? How can I do it as much as humanly possible? And sometimes it might look perfect and sometimes it might sound perfect. Other times it might be a little bit more dirty. It might be a little bit more kind of off. [00:50] So because of that, try to just embrace the idea that everything doesn't have to be exactly perfect. It's more important to publish your videos and to get that practice in and see how people are responding to these different decisions than it is to dial in and just think that everything has to be perfect just because you think that it has to be perfect. [01:06] So just get out of your own way. Start making content. Hang in there. You got this.
