if you're experiencing reduced or no suction the dirt cup may be full or there may be a clog in your system first remove the dirt cup and empty it over the trash can take out the rinsable filter located inside the top of the dirt cup and rinse it under running water until it runs clear then allow it to completely air dry before putting it back into the dirt cup make sure the lid is closed all the way then put the dirt cup back into place remove the hose by pressing the hose release button clear out any hair or debris stuck inside the hose then reattach it so it snaps firmly into place remove the hepa filter at the base by pulling out the filter frame tap it over a trash can to empty any debris and wipe clean with a dry cloth we recommend replacing the primary filter every six months for optimal performance to access the brush roll recline the handle and lay your vacuum down use a phillips head screwdriver to remove the six screws and take off the base plate clear out any debris or hair wrapped around the brush roll until the brushroll can turn freely by hand lastly put the base plate back on and re-secure it with the six screws and that's it if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to us if your wind tunnel vacuum won't power on first make sure it's firmly plugged into a working power outlet if your vacuum is shutting off during use it's likely because it overheated and the thermal protector activated turn off and unplug your wind tunnel then let it cool down for about 30 minutes to reset the thermal protector when the thermal protector activates it could also mean there is a clog or the filters need to be cleaned first remove the dirt cup and empty it over the trash can twist to remove the separator from the dirt cup and use a cloth to wipe off any debris then put the separator back in the tank and take out the rinseable filter located inside the top of the dirt cup and rinse it under running water until it runs clear allow it to air dry for at least 24 hours before putting it back on to check the hose for clogs press the hose release button clear out any hair or debris stuck inside the hose then reattach it so it snaps firmly into place remove the hepa filter at the base by pulling out the filter frame tap it over a trash can to empty any debris and wipe clean with a dry cloth we recommend replacing the primary filter every six months for optimal performance and that's it if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to us
