## Summary

This video documents the first part of a challenge to turn $0 into $10,000. The creator starts with no money and explores two business ideas: a short-form content agency and a landscaping business. The journey is marked by small wins, setbacks, and lessons learned.

### Key Points

- **Starting from Zero** [00:01] — The creator begins with no money and cannot use any existing resources. They plan to start a short-form content agency and a landscaping business.
- **First Client Outreach** [01:22] — The creator messages smaller prank channels to offer editing services. They get a response from a YouTuber who offers pay based on views.
- **First Money Made** [02:15] — The creator and a friend mow a lawn for $20 each, bringing the net worth to $40. This is the first money earned in the challenge.
- **Viral Video Success** [03:22] — A clip edited for a client gets 2 million views, earning the creator $68. Another video brings in additional income, totaling $116.
- **Negotiation and Setback** [04:03] — A potential client lowballs the creator's offer of $380/month. The creator decides to switch to a per-clip pricing model.
- **Learning from Alex Hormozi** [05:09] — The creator adopts Alex Hormozi's concept of making an offer so good that one would feel stupid saying no. They switch to $25 per clip.
- **New Opportunities** [06:04] — The creator starts making thumbnails for $15 each and gets a potential TikTok growth client for $250/month. A brand collaboration pays $175.
- **Major Setbacks** [07:10] — The TikTok growth client ghosts after a free trial. The creator's TikTok account is permanently banned, and a $225 sponsorship is jeopardized due to age issues.
- **Determination to Continue** [08:15] — Despite setbacks, the creator resolves to keep going, citing Alex Hormozi's advice that volume negates luck and that you can't fail if you don't give up.

### Conclusion

The creator faces significant challenges but remains determined to reach the $10,000 goal. The journey highlights the importance of persistence and adapting strategies in the face of adversity.

## Transcript

I have to start from zero dollars so I can't use any of this no money that I like this where somebody documents their Journey without them already having a the journey and be 100 honest throughout the whole thing and to be 100 honest
with you I'm filming this intro after I fully filmed and edited the first show a lot of the struggles I go through and where most people would end up quitting a lot of highs and lows a lot of bad luck a lot of nothing going to my
plan but I'm going to get to my goal and it all started here have to do something that doesn't cost money to start up which rules out my have a few ideas that will help me get to my Big Goal my first idea is a short
form content agency I'll basically edit and post clips for YouTubers and have them pay me monthly if I edit them myself then it will be completely free first few hundred dollars my second idea is Landscaping I'll team up with my
we'll get clients for this by making Facebook posts or even going door to is to offer to come back every two weeks and mow their lawn this way we can weeks you might be wondering doesn't it cost money to buy a weed whacker in a
and my friend has an old lawnmower since I'm supposed to be starting with zero this is cheating I'm just using the resources I have so there's the plan I have laid out hopefully it all works out all right for my short form content
last time I started this exact same business first I'm gonna just message get them as a client they won't pay great but I just need some clients and hopefully I could go for some bigger channels maybe in the finance Niche and
so I did some Outreach to some smaller prank channels I saw potential in okay so it's been a bit and I actually got a response from one guy I had him in mind clips for him in the past when I did it before he offered to pay me based on how
many views the video gets so I messaged him and made him the exact same offer we went back and forth and we agreed on this pricing so I'll get paid based on gonna be posting daily clips for him but I'm gonna need another source of income
I'm going to start a lawn care business with my friends and right now he's practice on his lawn so I'll see you there [Music] so like I said we mowed his lawn for
lot of stuff that we actually had to move off his lawn before we started it took about an hour and a half my friend actually managed to get us each paid 20 fine with doing this for free this is my first money made from the 0 to 10K
challenge putting our net worth at 20 dollars and after we finish we found out along so this would be our first real client we were told it only should take it for twenty dollars this was my first
price before seeing the lawn the lawn turned out to be extremely long and the mower would shut down every few seconds when we tried to cut it my weed whacker really bad situation for us we could still cut the lawn but we had to do it
didn't break down and it took a while after two hours we decided we need to I couldn't go back because I didn't have a ride to the house and I definitely wasn't going to do anything extra to try and get there to mow their lawn for only
his own without weed whacking and I found out the old lady didn't mean 20 my friend gave me my cut which was 20 and our net worth counter was now at forty dollars well it's been a while since I last recorded you know how I was
YouTuber and you'd pay me based on how many views it gets well one of the checked my followers and I was like whoa I just gained a lot and I was so video of mine had 250 000 views which meant a guaranteed twelve dollars and
then it just kept getting views it went to 700k then a million then 2 million and in total I made 68 from that video and then another video reached 50k views plus he gave me a five dollar tip this was huge and brought our net worth total
to 116 dollars ladies I'm taking and my Outreach has who responded and want me to make clips for them I'll get back to you soon and hopefully I can get one as a client okay so good news I sent the guy the clip and
he liked it I also told him about how my first and only client so far has gotten weeks he liked the idea of me helping him with his Tick Tock so I sent him over the price and let's see what he says bad news he said the price was way
too high and gave me a lowball offer I offered him 13 shorts made from his content and helping him grow his Tick Tock account for 380 per month they was confident through my help growing as Tick Tock I could make him an extra few
tick tock before I got banned I made over 500 with just 18 000 followers but the offer and I guess I'll just have to keep doing more Outreach so as you can agency so I did the right thing I watched Alex hermosi and seek his advice
luckily his advice helped me a lot and I reformulated my offer and recorded this clip I wanted to switch business ideas but I know it pretty much has to be something in editing so I think I'm just gonna switch up what I'm selling a
real ups and downs here and it's definitely been a struggle but what's going on here is a concept that Alex hermosi preaches where you make an offer so good that you'd feel stupid saying no to it he talks about it in this book and
in some of his videos and podcasts this is the analogy he uses if I had a it to you for ten thousand dollars what would you do you would buy it right away would do anything you could to get the money calling your friends your parents
you know that what I'm selling you provides more value than ten thousand dollars and I wanted people to think of my offer like that I thought about it great offer that was undeniable so I decided to instead offer on a clip by
for the Creator because they're paying 25 per clip instead of 500 a month and offering my services but editing has kind of dried up I got paid 20 to do an edit and I timed it and it actually took me about 45 minutes so I made decent
Outreach but one of the people I ended up reaching out to liked the thumbnails I was making so now I'm making thumbnails for them for 15 each and I'm to grow on Tick Tock right now and he actually reached out to me for that and
him right now and if he likes it he's gonna sign up for the full month which is 250. Okay so I actually just made 175 well I haven't gotten the money yet but I did a brand
collaboration and all I had to do was make two clips for them and they post it on their Tick Tock and they paid me 175 well they haven't paid me yet but I just double our net worth anyway I just want to let you know but let's get back to
skills and I eventually want to sell them and my plan was to be an editor and connections and then eventually go into helping people with all of social media ideas and help them script it then I'll edit for them make them a thumbnail do
all the SEO and title stuff post it for them and I'll even make short from content out of those long form videos so they'll have pretty much no work but the I have no clue what I'm doing which sucks and it's the reason I'm trying to
do everything with my smma through Instagram DMS because if we hop on a mind or automatically discredit me I keep recording it's like I'm having ups probably the furthest down we've been because the guy I was helping grow on
Tick Tock just ghosted me after the free trial which honestly is fine because I didn't really want to do it because it was kind of cheap and the worst part just a couple minutes ago I opened up Tick Tock
to see this my account was permanently banned now a lot of you watching but this is the second time and the reason this matters so much is because I focus on growing The Tick Tock because like I was saying in the last clip
but if I have a big following they're gonna have so much more trust for me and gone and that was my plan that's all ruined so I really don't know what to do
and I have no clients for video editing or any services so I'm making no money I'm I don't have any clients for lawn care and I was supposed to get paid 225 for a sponsorship but I have to fill out a W-9 form and I don't know how to
because I'm not 18 so I might not get that money so this is really not good I'll probably just think a lot about this because every time I was at a low I just would think for a while and
usually come to something that would work out I don't know what to do it just hurts my brain thinking like everything that happens and definitely luck hasn't been on my side but I have to create my own luck like
Alex from Rosie says volume negates luck as you can tell I've been watching him a eventually you don't even have to get lucky if you just do it enough it'll videos you can't fail if you don't give up so I'm gonna take my own advice and
up so I'm gonna take my own advice and let's see where I get with that foreign
