# Vorasius Raid Guide - Normal and Heroic Voidspire Boss Guide

> Source: [Vorasius Raid Guide - Normal and Heroic Voidspire Boss Guide](https://youtube.com/watch?v=0ktmferSPmM)

## Summary

This video is a concise raid guide for the Varusias encounter in the Void Spire, covering both Normal and Heroic difficulties. It walks through the single-phase fight's mechanics, including tank swaps, dodging Aftershocks, breaking crystal walls with Blister Creeps, and surviving Void Breath and Primordial Roar.

### Key Points

- **Shadow Claw Slam** [00:14] — Shadow Claw Slam creates a ring that one tank must enter, leaving a debuff that requires tank alternation.
- **Aftershocks** [00:28] — Aftershocks are expanding donut rings that players must dodge by stepping just outside the explosion and then moving back in.
- **Crystal Walls and Blister Creeps** [00:53] — The slam spawns crystal walls that block the room. Blister Creeps fixate players and must be led to walls and killed to break them.
- **Void Breath** [01:18] — Void Breath sweeps lethal void fire across the arena. Players must watch where Varusias points and move to the opposite side.
- **Primordial Roar** [01:31] — Primordial Roar deals heavy raid damage with a suck-in and knockback. Stack up and heal through it; each roar hits harder.
- **Heroic Differences** [01:57] — On Heroic, walls require two Blister Creep pops to break, requiring even coverage of the walls.

### Conclusion

Varusias is a straightforward single-phase fight that rewards good positioning and coordination. Break the walls with Blister Creeps, dodge the Void Breath, and manage the escalating Primordial Roar damage to secure the kill on both Normal and Heroic.

## Transcript

Hi! I'm Hazel, and this is a guide to the Varusias fight in the Void Spire on Normal and Heroic difficulty. This is a straightforward single phase fight. Shadow Claw Slam starts with a big impact in this ring.
One tank must be inside that ring. Everyone else can stay out. It leaves a big debuff, so alternate which tank gets in the slam. Next you'll get Aftershocks, which are these expanding donut rings to avoid.
just outside one that's about to explode, and then run in when it's done. This happens a lot in this fight, you're gonna get really good at it. The slam will also spawn lines of crystals which block off parts of the room.
We're going to need to break those down to survive the fight. To do that we'll use the blister creep adds. Creeps will fixate players. What you need to do is lead them into the walls and then kill them.
When they die, they do a little AoE, some raid damage, and break a wall if they're on it. The creeps will spit on you to slow you down. Gross. That can be dispelled if it becomes a problem Make sure that you use the creeps to break both walls because you need the entire room for this next bit Void Breath picks a side and sweeps lethal void fire slowly across the arena
Look at where he's pointing, and then get to the other side of the room. If you left any walls up, those can absolutely get you killed. Otherwise easy peasy, just get to your side and keep DPSing.
Other things to know, Primordial Roar does some big raid damage as well as a little suck in and knock back combo. Stack up and heal through it. Each subsequent roar does more raid damage, so if the fight runs long, you'll need some
big cooldowns. On Normal, that's it. On Heroic it's exactly the same, except now the walls will take two blistercreep pops to break. Figure out who's going where to cover the walls evenly.
And that's Voracious! Thanks for watching! I've got more raid guides if you want them, and have a wonderful, wonderful day. Bye!
