I just leveled from 10 to 80 in about an
hour and 24 minutes, and from 10 to 90
in under 3 hours total. And with the
latest update to the Distinct Earth and
Sky Riding add-on, this route is easier
than it's ever been. No confusing
transitions, no guesswork. You can
basically just follow along and start
leveling. In this video, I'll show you
exactly how to set this up, use it
properly, and a few key tips so you can
level as fast as possible. All right,
let's get this set up. First, you'll
need two add-ons, the Distinct Earth and
Sky Riding add-on and TomTom. The
Distinct Sky Riding add-on handles the
entire route, and TomTom gives you the
arrow to follow. They work together and
make this really simple. You'll also
need the Lucky Tortollan Charm to get
out of the starting area. Just grab it
on your main from Grifta in Durnholde
next to the Black Market Auction House,
then toss it into your war bank so your
alt can pick it up. Once you've got that
done, hop onto your leveling character,
grab the charm from the war bank, and
open up the add-on. You'll see multiple
routes listed, but you want to select
the 10 to 90 midnight leveling route.
The others are older and not nearly as
fast as this one. After that, it's
pretty much plug and play. You'll get a
waypoint arrow, and you just follow it.
The add-on handles all the transitions
for you now, so there's no more
switching routes or figuring out where
to go next. And honestly, that's what
makes this route feel so much smoother.
Now, before you take off, there are a
few really important things you'll want
to do, because these can make a huge
difference in how fast you level. The
biggest one by far is constantly tapping
your forward movement key while flying.
This forces the game to update your
position more frequently, which helps
discoveries trigger faster and keeps the
route moving smoothly. If you're not
doing this, your run is going to feel
noticeably slower. One additional add-on
that takes this method to another level
is Farm Hud. Most people use it for
gathering herbs and mining, but it works
incredibly well for this route because
it keeps your flight path and waypoint
arrow centered on your screen while
flying. Another really important thing
to know is that every time you level up,
your surge forward and skyward ascent
charges reset back to six. And because
the levels come so fast before 80,
you're constantly refilling your
skywriting charges throughout the run.
You still need to manage them a little
bit, but it helps a ton with conserving
your second wind charges. One thing I
noticed during my runs is that a few
caves don't consistently trigger
discoveries very well, so I usually just
skip those entirely. During my last run,
I skipped around six discoveries and
still hit level 90 before running out of
nodes. So, don't feel like you need to
force every single one of them. One
thing you definitely want to avoid is
flying too low around mobs, especially
near opposite faction towns. It's very
easy to get one shot if you get too
close, and I've had multiple runs ruined
because of that. If you're using a
non-English client, you'll also need the
Ace 3 add-on along with Lib Babble
Sub-Zones 3 for automatic waypoint
switching. And finally, if you don't
actually want an earthen character at
the end of this, you can always do a
race change after hitting level 90 and
still save yourself a massive amount of
leveling time. That's pretty much it.
