What's up everybody, I'm Kate Douglas and for today's Daily Fix we have The Witcher 3 Remastered and Crimson Desert Enhanced. This is your Daily Fix.
Presented by Universal, London Thought and its newest deep-hug, Universal Epic Universe. CD Projekt Red has announced The Witcher 3 Remastered, coming as a free upgrade to all owners on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox next month on September 29th.
There's no upgrade to the Switch 1 version, though a separate Switch 2 native version of The Witcher 3 Remastered will be sold and owners of the Switch 1 version will be able to claim this for free. The remastered game will also be sold on PC via Battle.net for the first time, where it will unlock a Geralt-themed skin in Diablo 4.
The Witcher 3 remastered and the current game as of today will also include access to the game's first two expansions at no additional cost. so to be clear, it is just a fresh patch for the existing game, but one that Pearl Abyss feels is so substantial that it warrants an updated title. Crimson does Enhanced, adds new cutscenes and story moments throughout the main questline, plus voiceover support
for German, French, Spanish, Brazilian, Portuguese and Japanese. And of course the Enhanced edition will include all existing updates to the game, and there have been a lot with new bits and pieces every few weeks. All of this comes ahead of the game's first paid DLC due out
DLC due out this year and a Nintendo Switch 2 release expected early 2027. Crimson Desert launched back in March and was an instant hit for Pearl Abyss. Less than three months later, it had sold more than six million copies.
