[00:00] This has to be the coolest pizza gadget I've ever seen. Now, I've been using the Uni Kota 2 for a while now, and it's a great gas-powered pizza oven. But recently, I got this rotating pizza stone accessory that Uni makes, and it's kind of genius. [00:12] The install's super simple. The battery-powered rotating system screws right into the bottom of the pizza maker, and your pizza stone sits on this rotating circular wheel, very similar to how a microwave works. Then the new circular pizza stone locks right on top, [00:25] and then it's filled in with these cornerstone pieces that stay stationary. And I think the coolest feature is that it has this start-stop motion sensor built right into the base of the system, which I can easily turn on and off with my pizza peel. So I'll heat the stone up while it's rotating [00:38] so it preheats evenly. Then I'll stop the rotation and launch the pizza. And once it's safely on board, I'll start that rotation up again, which slowly turns the pizza throughout the entire bake, cooking the pizza nice and evenly [00:51] without the need for any manual pizza rotation using your peel. Stop it. Look at that. Perfectly even. Oh! And these portable pizza ovens have completely changed homemade pizza making forever. Millions of people can now make restaurant quality pizza at home. [01:05] But the biggest challenge by far with these smaller ovens is burnt crust due to the limited space. Since the pizza sits super close to the flames, there's more manual rotation of the pizza needed to avoid burning. So while this definitely takes away a little bit of the skill and fun of pizza making, [01:19] for someone like me who's super busy, I've got kids running around, this thing is definitely a game changer. And this is me about six years ago reviewing the first ever Ooni made. What if the bottom piece rotated? Good job, Ooni. No more burning pizzas.
