video. Today, we're going to talk about pray, and more specifically, we're going to talk about pray in Midnight season 2, and everything that you need to know going into patch 12.1. There is a brand new season of pray with new affixes, new
hunts, new modes, new zones, all sorts of things going on with pray in season 2, and some really good changes for sure. But, before we jump into that, guys, do want to let you know that I do stream over on twitch.tv/mistergm.
Warcraft patch 12.1 PTR, any sort of wow, I'm over on twitch.tv/mistergm. out extremely soon, with the release date being August 11th in the NA region,
and August 12th in the EU, with season 2 of Midnight kicking off 1 week later on the 18th and 19th, respectively. So, let's start by talking about the release schedule, and what you can expect from 12.1. So, on the week of August 11th, on
patch week, normal and hard mode pray will be available for you to select. On the week of August 18th, on the season 2 launch day, this will open up nightmare mode and curse of the aisle mode. More on that in a little bit. So, starting
off, let's talk about pray hunts themselves. So, as of 12.1, the total hunts per character per week increases to 15, of course, to accommodate the brand new zone of 12.1. There are also some brand new affixes for hard and
nightmare pray, including pack ambush, where a pack of serpentine scouts will occasionally attack you. You've also got exploding corpse snakes. Says snakes erupt from enemy corpses, exploding in a spray of venom when killed, and toxic
snare. Says venom nets are thrown at your location while in combat, slowing triggered. Now, hard and nightmare will share the exact same four affixes, which means that hard will get an extra affix up from the previous three. Now, the
currency remnants of anguish will continue to be a currency for pray, and as of PTR, it doesn't appear like this currency is resetting, but we haven't actually had anything official from Blizzard regarding this. So, not sure
now as it will be used for the new rewards. It might just end up being like single season, so we'll find out more obviously once the patch launches or if Blizzard make a post regarding this. So, let's talk about the new zone of patch
12.1. This is the coiled isle. Now, this isle will feature three hunts, two hard mode and one nightmare. The patch will also bring in some new coiled isle themed targets. There are four of these in total, but they will also be
appearing as options in the 12 hour midnight zones. And they all have new decor rewards. Now, what's really great about the coiled isle is that straight from Astellole Sanctum over to the isle. Now, this is unlocked during
the intro quest for pre-season two, so you're going to get this pretty early going to be using a lot cuz as of right now this is the quickest way over to the coiled isle. So, the coiled isle doesn't only just feature regular prey hunts, it
also features a new mode called curse of the isle. So, this is a new mode that you can activate or deactivate on the isle by speaking to the image of completed a short quest line. Now, you don't need an active hunt to activate
it, but once activated you will be afflicted by the nightmare prey affixes. Now, once you're in this mode the skybox will change and ossified relics will spawn around the map for you to collect. So, these are war-bound items found in
small skull treasure chests around the map. Now, you can collect them from around the map or there is a pretty easy daily that you can do per character on the isle which will reward 100 ossified relics. But, the purpose of these relics
are to fill a bar of a haunted brazier which is located on the map. It takes 100 relics to fill the bar and it can be contributed by others in the zone. So, obviously on PTR it's basically only me doing it, but once we're on live this is
time. So, you might not even need to contribute too many. Now, once the bar is filled on the haunted brazier a new boss will spawn, and this is called Ra K'harla. Now, once he spawns, he does have a couple of seconds of immunity, so
is really handy. And once defeated, he'll drop a bunch of items. These include Remnants of Anguish, Koffeki Shards, Voidlight Mal, Champion and Hero Crest. He also has a chance to drop a new toy called the Prey Hunter's
Masquerade. This says, "Don the mask, taking the appearance of a ghostly cooldown." This essentially turns you into a cool Armani mask to run around have a chance to drop the Pale Hex Scale pet, the Emerald-Encrusted Armani Ritual
Skull decor, and the Hexflame Reaver mount. So, this is the epic mana worm. This is where it comes from in Season 2. It is a drop from this boss. He'll also drop Corrosive Coins, which are a new currency used in the underground area of
more of those once you get to Renown 6 on the Prey Hunter's Journey. And Ra per day, so you do have a chance at some of those rewards multiple times a day if of this can be done in Curse of the Isle mode or in Nightmare Prey. So, when
you're in Nightmare Prey, the Haunted Brazier and the Ossified Relics will Nightmare Prey, you'll also have your target ambushing you, so it's probably just easier to do it in the Curse of the Isle mode. So, that's the Curse of the
mode, kind of like a pseudo hard mode of sorts. Uh and obviously, the purpose of some of those great rewards. So, moving on, let's talk about gearing. So, initial gearing will be the same as Season 1. So, you will still be getting
two gear boxes per difficulty per week, with normal dropping Adventurer, hard dropping Veteran, and Nightmare dropping Champion. Now, later on in the Prey gearing gets a little bit different. So, at Renown 4 and Renown 9, there are two
different unlocks here for Afflicted and Tormented Soul items. So, these are warbound items, similar to the Trove Hunter's Bounty from delves. And these items do drop in delves in tier six plus bountiful delves, but they're not 100%
so you might be farming quite a few here. Now once you do get an afflicted nightmare mode it will instantly find your prey target. Now that's great obviously, it saves you a bunch of time, but this item does also reward a bonus
chest once per week per character and this is dependent how far along you are on the prey hunter's journey. So at renown four, the afflicted soul items will give you an extra champion chest once per week, but once you reach renown
this will give you an extra piece of character. So yeah, as of season two you'll be able to get some hero strength items from prey directly, which is pretty cool instead of just from the
great vault. But obviously you do need to get through renown nine first so that mentioned it a few times, let's get into it, the prey hunter's journey. So this is of course the season two version of the prey seeker's journey. So this has
10 levels once again, so let's go through some of the rewards you can have I summon thee, this will give you the return portal back to the sanctum also going to get whispers from the other side, which says spending ossified
relics to help summon Ra'kalla, terror of the isle, will increase your drop chances and repeatable currencies earned from defeating Ra'kalla by 50% and then it goes into how you summon him. Renown one will also unlock the sturdy

can obtain from world content, which are used in the vault of the tool Uu'tek to unlock various buffs, which will help you out in, well, content. Also, renown nightmare mode or curse of the isle mode will now drop ossified relics, and also
will have a small chance to drop some as well. You'll also be able to purchase the gilded silvermoon compass decor for 100 anguish at renown three. At renown four, this is going to unlock a couple of toys. The prey hunter's trophy stand
for 800. It says, "Place a trophy stand and show the world what you're made of Basically, with this toy, you spawn a plinth, and you can actually stand on it, like the decor items you can unlock. And you can also purchase the companion
command crystal. That says, "Command your companion pet to kill for you now." Which essentially means when you use this toy, your companion pet will go and four, you're going to get poor unfortunate souls one, which is a part
of that afflicted soul item you can get a bonus champion track item once per a bonus champion track item once per week per character. purchase the sturdy silvermoon crate decor for 100. At renown five, you'll

for 100 void light maw. So, not the best trade in the world, but if you have handy. At renown 9, we are going to get poor unfortunate souls 2, which means that the tormented soul items will start dropping from tier 6 plus bountiful
delves. And as mentioned, these are used to instantly find your prey target and will give a bonus hero track item once per week per character. Renown 9 also unlocks the blood knights decorative shield decor for 1,200 anguish. And
your poison, which means that you can create custom hunts from Astalor. So, achievements if you still need them. This will also unlock the prey hunters This will also unlock the prey hunters fury mount for 2,250 anguish. This is a

renown 10 is the crimson crystal column for 1,200 anguish. Next up, let's talk there will obviously be some new coiled isle themed achievements. These range from looting ossified relics, defeating the new prey targets, defeating Ral
Kala. And if you defeat him 50 times, you will get a Ral Kala a decor. And surviving various new affixes. Now, there are no new achievements for defeating all of the prey targets. However, the old achievements still
you credit for the lower difficulties once you defeat it on the higher one. So, defeating a nightmare boss will give you credit towards the normal and hard if you only have the nightmare achievement in season 1, once 12.1
other two achievements for hard and normal. So, a great change there. And finally, let's talk about the season 1 rewards. So, all of the prey season 1 rewards will still be available to purchase. Now, I'm unsure here whether
or not these will be available to everybody regardless if you did anything in season 1. I did complete the prey seeker's journey in season 1. So, on me. I don't know whether or not they're just going to give it to people
not. The cool thing here though is that they have added a new weapon arsenal which does include all of the season 1 weapon appearances for 1,600 anguish. actual prey, you can just purchase the weapon arsenal once patch 12.1 launches
on August 11th or 12th. And yeah, that's it guys. That is prey in patch 12.1. That is prey in season 2. A lot of great changes here. Some really great rewards as well. Looking forward to diving back in with that and doing some of those
prey hunts on the coral and diving into cursed isle mode and killing Rokalor a lot for those rewards, especially the mount. So, guys, thank you very much for watching. Let me know in the comments your thoughts on prey in 12.1 and season
