## Summary

This video reveals an overpowered weapon and legend combo in Apex Legends, combining the Devotion LMG with the legend Axle to achieve near-perfect recoil control and high mobility. The creator demonstrates how to use aim smoothing and slide mechanics to dominate ranked matches, claiming to have climbed from Platinum 4 to Diamond 3 in just 4 hours.

### Key Points

- **Introduction to the Combo** [00:02] — The video introduces a 'cheat code' combo using Axle and the Devotion, claiming it makes the hardest weapon to control one of the easiest, even easier than the Alternator.
- **Claimed Effectiveness** [00:16] — The creator states they went from Platinum 4 to Diamond 3 in 4 hours with a KD over 6, emphasizing the combo's power.
- **Basic Recoil Control** [01:12] — First method: manually controlling recoil by pulling down and opposite to the spray pattern. Demonstrated at 144m with a 4x scope without stock or barrel stabilizer.
- **Aim Smoothing Technique** [02:43] — Second method: strafing sideways to eliminate vertical recoil. The Devotion has the most recoil in the game, but strafing makes it negligible.
- **Combining Pattern with Aim Smoothing** [03:09] — Advanced version: combine the weapon's recoil pattern (down-right then left) with strafing to control recoil effectively.
- **Turbocharger Advantage** [04:07] — Using a Turbocharger not only increases fire rate but also makes recoil control easier, as the recoil pattern becomes more consistent.
- **Axle Slides and Aim Smoothing** [04:36] — Axle's slides are further and faster, preserving momentum. Sliding while aiming down sight allows for fast sideways movement, which controls recoil via aim smoothing.
- **Three Slide Techniques** [06:01] — 1) Circle strafe: jump into slides in a circle, jumping again to regain momentum. 2) Figure-eight pattern: move side to side, jumping at turns. 3) Using tactical to cover open areas.
- **Perk Selection** [07:46] — Choose 'Super Slide' for blue perk (extra tactical) and 'Gun Shield' for level 3 perk (takes bullets from inventory instead of magazine, effectively increasing magazine size).
- **Tactical Usage** [08:51] — Use Axle's tactical in open areas (Storm Point, Olympus, Broken Moon) to gain accuracy and push, then boost back for knocks.
- **Turbocharger and Large Magazine** [09:35] — With Turbocharger and large magazine, moving more requires pulling crosshair more, increasing recoil control and accuracy.
- **Urgency to Abuse** [09:50] — The creator expects the combo to be nerfed soon, so advises using it immediately.

### Conclusion

The Axle + Devotion combo with aim smoothing and slide mechanics is an extremely powerful strategy for ranked play, but it may be nerfed soon, so players should abuse it while possible.

## Transcript

cheat code to rank up in insanely easy in Apex. Like, it is so broken. I have people literally calling me a cheater, an aim botter, a Zen user, a Titan user combo that I'm going to show you today, but it literally makes the hardest to
control weapon in the game one of the easiest to control. And I'm talking easier than an Alternator. Hell, this combo is so overpowered, I went from plat four to diamond three in just 4 hours. Like, my KD is literally over six
showing you today's video should be a crime against the Apex community because ends up doing this, Apex might actually be cooked and unplayable. But, I figured, "You know what? If I'm going to be one V threeing two teams back-to-back
lobbies, I got to at least give you guys the chance to do the same." I mean, I So, you guys should go and abuse this before it's fixed. Today, I'm going to show you the most overpowered weapon and legend combo in the history of Apex
using both Axle and the Devotion. Let's get into it. If you guys find this video useful in any way, please make sure to punch the like button. It's free, it you like seeing this type of content from me and others in the community. So,
to kind of walk you through everything that you got to do if you want to be able to use the Devotion with Axle as efficiently and as easily, honestly, as I'm going to do this without using a stock or barrel stabilizer just to show
stock or barrel stabilizer just to show you exactly how effective everything is. Really, really overpowered. Now, there's three, maybe even four ways that you can cover them really, really quick. The first two you probably already know, but
bit more complex. The very first version is by literally just controlling the that you're using. This is just what's known as basic recoil control. You a specific spray. If I shoot this again, it would be the exact same. And I can
see here that my spray is straight down, slightly off to the right, a little bit hard off to the left. And what I can do to control my recoil is just basically to control my recoil is just basically do the exact pattern, but opposite.
Really, really effective. If I were to do this at range here, without stock, using the 4x. So, the recoil is actually harder to control.
that you have to pull down. And I'm doing that at 144 m away. So, that alone, once you kind of get that down, the Devo in general, and just any gun and and very easy to control. Now, the second method that you can use to
we're really going to focus on, especially in today's video, is called pull your crosshair sideways. If I were to just literally pull my crosshair sideways, you can see that there's no vertical
recoil that's going to kick my crosshair up into the air. And Devotion is probably the one gun, maybe aside from the Havoc, that has the absolute most recoil out of any gun in the game. So, the fact that
literally just pulling sideways is going to get rid of your recoil makes this gun that you would use this really effectively is by combining the pattern of the weapon with aim smoothing. So, the pattern, as you can see, is down to
the right, and then left. would do here is I would strafe to pull my crosshair and pull right. And then when it gets to starts to pull in the opposite direction, then I would change direction
and pull. So, it would look something like I'll try to do this with like the 1x here.
away, cuz I don't get to pull my cross hairs hard. like really straight recoil. I'll do this maybe with like a 2x4 here.
turbocharger, it doesn't just make the gun shoot a lot faster, but it also makes controlling the recoil a lot easier. If I were to shoot this with a easier. If I were to shoot this with a turbocharger,
Whereas if you use without a turbocharger, And it's not that it's necessarily harder, but it kind of just adds like attention to. Now, getting into like the more advanced version of the aim
smoothing technique here is going to be using axle slides in combination with aim smoothing. If you didn't know already, Axle has further and faster game. Now, on top of that as well, sliding is a way that you can preserve
all the momentum that you went into it with. So, for example, if I were to come in flying off of a jump pad and then hit a slide, the slide mechanic in general preserves momentum. And because Axle has further distance slides, you get to
longer. So, typically when you would do something like hold a weapon in your walk or if you aim down sight, it's going to make you strafe insanely slow, which means that you're a really easy target
You're either going to be really accurate and really easy to hit or little bit harder to hit as you strafe faster. But with Axle, you're going to jump into a slide. And because sliding preserves all of
that momentum, you're essentially insanely accurate cuz you're aiming down sight. And on top of that as well, because you're sliding, you get to move yourself sideways. And like we just discussed, moving
sideways is what controls recoil via aim smoothing. So, you can already start to see this is like insanely overpowered how you can be sliding around on a devo and just constantly giving yourself insane accuracy and recoil control over
insane accuracy and recoil control over and over and over again. technically there's like three ways that you can abuse the slide. The first one is just going to be a like regular circle strafe. So, as you kind of come
around, you're going to just jump into a circle like this. And the key is every started, you're going to jump again. And the reason why is because even though actual has further slides, you're eventually going to slow down. And if
momentum. If you jump into a slide, you gain all of that momentum back. Jump back in, get it all back. And you can see I'm not moving slow. Like I'm moving really fast while I do this. So, you
really fast while I do this. So, you basically just get this infinite speed. makes you a little bit harder to hit. When you're going in a circle, it's
really easy to track cuz it's such a small radius that you're going around. people to track things that are moving a lot further side to side. So, this other eight where when you come back, you're going to jump when you get to the start
of the next turn. Essentially, what you're going to do is jump into a slide. here, you're going to jump again. You're going to turn back to like right again. Get back to the box, you're going to
jump again. And what this kind of looks like from a first-person POV, jump into like from a first-person POV, jump into a slide.
too is with your perks here, what you're going to do to make Axle just as broken as possible, for your blue perk, you're going to pick um super slide where you gain an extra tactical. And then for your second perk, your level three perk,
What this basically does is instead of taking bullets out of your magazine, it takes the first few bullets out of your inventory instead. So, right now my magazine is 48 bullets. And if I were to shoot all 48 bullets,
it's not going to take it out of my magazine right away. So, look at how magazine right away. So, look at how much more damage I can get.
And a full red shield is 250, so getting an extra 4-500, you know, you're going to get an extra one to two full red armor kills um out of your out of your a building with this or pushing into a gunfight
going to be using your tactical to help you get um more accuracy. Now, this doesn't really work as much if you're fighting in buildings, but when you start playing maps like Storm Point, Olympus, Broken
Moon, where there's a lot of open areas, and for like really big stretches of open area, being able to [music] like throw a tactical and like push in and get like a ton of accuracy, and then boost back, pick up another knock, come
boost back, pick up another knock, come back, boost in. turbocharger, in combination with a really large magazine, because you're moving so much, you have to pull your crosshair a lot more. And
the more that you pull your crosshair, the more recoil control that you get. actually just going to make yourself that much more accurate. Now, if you really want to abuse Axle, you should probably do this right away, um because
I'm pretty sure that this is going to get nerfed pretty soon once people realize just how broken this is. Honestly, you know, you know what? I kind of take that back. Using the Devo in general is not a super easy weapon,
going to struggle with this. So, you know, maybe you should just abuse it, this. Hope you guys enjoyed today's video. If this video helped you out at and subscribe. Honestly, I've been having so much fun doing this. Um I
having so much fun doing this. Um I really hope they don't nerf it.
