with you guys. Let's go. All right. Welcome back to the Gamblesmart channel. Hope you guys are doing well out there. All right, we are almost to our third want to thank everybody that has subscribed, watched, shared, follow, and

ring the bell, share with your friends, comment, blah blah blah. All right. After all this time, three years, why have we never done a video on how to win were kind of skated around it a little bit, but listen, I'm just going to come
right to the chase and I'm going to tell you exactly what you need to do to win at slot machines. Now, there's one thing that we need to get out of the way and between the eyes. So, I'm going to tell you what it is and then if you want to
click off after that, so be it. That's cool. If you want to learn a little bit telling you and why I came to that conclusion, hang tight because I'm going to explain it. How do you win at slot machines? Well, don't play them. Okay.
most people say and there's truth to that, right? You can't win at a negative that's the thing that you need to hear right between the eyes. These are in favor of the casino. All of them. Okay? Unless you are an advantage player
wizard and you know exactly when to hit a specific machine and you have the casino to find that and you have the bank rolls. We're not talking about you guys. We're talking about the average Joe, you and I, that go into the casino
play these things. How do we win? Okay, you need to understand this and this is you guys would rather have that than me to just [ __ ] you for the next 10 minutes, right? You need to hear this and you need to let it sink in because
you've no doubt heard a lot of strategies, tips, uh methods, and things like that that suggest that you have a way to win in the long run. And I'm telling you, these are set in the casino's favor, right? a casino would
never put a slot machine on the floor that would somehow put them in the negative, right? It's that's never going to happen, right? So, think about that. Number one. Number two, the longer you play, the more likely you are going to
guys. It doesn't matter if it's slot prediction markets, whatever the case is. The longer you play, the more likely you're going to lose because that percentage hold in favor of the casino
eventually. Okay? So, why am I telling how to win at slots. Well, I'm going to tell you something. And this is what you need to pay attention to. It is a lot of luck. I'd hate to say it,
but it is a lot of luck. But there's a second component to this which we have been very mouthy about over the years and you need to pay attention and listen to this. Can you have short-term success on slot machines? Yes. A resounding yes.
It can happen. If it didn't happen, let me tell you a little secret. Nobody would go to the casino. Think about that. If nobody ever won anything, no bonus rounds, no progressives, no hand pays, would anybody ever go to the
casino again? No. Okay. If you never won, every single time you go, you lose. Eventually, you're going to just say, "Well, screw this. I can't win anything." And you'll stop, right? Well, most of us will, right? Here's the
thing. You can have short-term success. But this is where people go very, very especially. Now, this this applies to other games of chance, but especially slot machines, is you don't know when to quit. You're actually winning more than
you think. And if you kept good logs and good track of it, you'd be really surprised at how much you actually have coin out compared to your coin in. Now, but every now and then you have a
what is critical. And that is ultimately how you win at slot machines. Okay. All right. If you want to click off now, go for it. You've heard the answer. A lot of luck and a lot of control. That's all
that you can do to trick these things. Well, you can't even trick him, but that's the only way that you can really have any kind of chance of walking away a winner. Okay. Now, let's talk about how I came to this conclusion. Well, if
very long time, you have heard us talk about how these games are designed, right? And it's getting even worse because it used to be that you would actually get a lot of winners, not huge winners, but you would get a
lot of winners often. Okay. Especially the old school machines. If you ever been in a crowded casino back in the late 90s, early 2000s when there were just old machines everywhere, a lot of people were hitting. You were getting a
bonus rounds. They didn't really have progressives back then, but they got a lot of action, right? And then now, fast forward 25, 30 years from those times,
you see a different story, right? you see a lot of people playing, but not a lot of bonus rounds and hand pays going on. Why is that? Is it because the payback percentage has changed over the years? Well, yes, it has, and it's
definitely gotten tighter. Not going to deny that. But what's even worse is the style of these games that are coming out. And that is where it gets incredibly difficult to win at these things. And here's my advice to you
nowadays. We're not talking about going back in time in the '90s. I wish we casino. It was so much fun back then. I'm talking about right now when you walk into a casino, you no doubt see a lot of big flashy screens. You know,
they're all video style slots, big progressives, maybe eight different progressives, triple pots, quadruple pots. We've got five and six pots coming out that we saw at G2E. All of that stuff is making for a more entertaining
game, but also a game that is more likely to get you to chase and to break the rules. And that is why it's increasingly difficult to win at slots now than it was back then. Okay, so what do you do about this? Okay, now that you
just digested what I told you, how do you actually walk away with money? And session and bankroll management and paying attention are the three biggest things that you can do. Do not try to emulate the big influencers out there.
They're entertaining. They're fun to watch. They have massive bankrolls, okay? They can afford to lose $100,000 every trip, right? They will come back every trip, right? They will come back from that. Us, I'm talking to you guys
because a lot of you we know are very low rollers if you play at all. We cannot do that. We have to pay more attention. We cannot just go apeshit inside of a casino dropping hundreds and thousands of dollars in slot machines
hoping for the best. We have to pay attention. And so if you expect to ever listen up because I'm going to tell you exactly what you need to do. Right? Step number one, before you walk into the casino floor, you need to have a session
with you. Not everything that you've brought for the trip, a session. All and you're there for three days, maybe do a $200 session. Lock up the rest of the money, the budget. Give it to your spouse if you trust her. [laughter]
I don't. She just siphons that stuff from me. Sorry, Jod, but it's true. Um, siphon it away inside of a safe, in your car, wherever you think it's safe, and try to forget about it. Pretend that all you have for the entire time you're in
the casino, the entire trip is $200. Okay, now you know that you have to you're having to decide, well, how am I going to make $200 last? And before you,
impossible. You can't do anything on $200 in casino. I call BS on that. You can definitely have some fun on $200 in the casino. Okay, there's no problem at expectations and pick the right machines and denominations. And that's the key.
Okay, you picked your session amount. 200 bucks. Let's just roll with that. Where should you be playing? High limit room. No, probably not. Unless you want it to be over really quick. And that's your decision, right? If you are that
kind of person, you just like playing high limit slots and going for broke and it'd be over in 10 seconds, go for it, right? But the key thing is is that you you lose the 200. And that could be what, four or five spins. That's it,
right? Walk away. Um, that's really risky as you could tell because sometimes it takes a lot of spins to hit anything these days. And so that kind of works against you. So really, if you're coming with $200, I would stay with the
penny, two cent, 5-cent machines and just stay there. Find a game that you enjoy, but set your expectations because like I said earlier, the games have changed. Instead of getting frequent winds that aren't gang buster giant
amounts, it's very infrequent winds with the potential of getting giant amounts. has completely changed. And the more that you are aware of that, the more likely you will be in control. Okay, the next step, pick your game. When you sit
down to play it, make a decision. Am I going to just do my whole session on because there I walked around, which you should be doing by the way. walk around that I want to play. Well, split it up even further and then set your start
stop limits inside of that game. So, if you put a hundred bucks in, say if I get up to 120, I'm cashing out. If I get down to 80, I'm cashing out. Okay? Maintaining your budget control. That's very, very important. Ultimately,
you need to play what you enjoy. Okay? There's a lot of noise out there about RTP and jump betting and all this crazy when it's time to raise your bet or ladder betting or all this kind of
stuff. Try to push that all out of your system. And at that point, just focus on what looks entertaining to you and hope for the best. Right? This is where the luck component comes in. Hope for the best. After that happens, you get down
to your 80 or you get up to your 120, you cash out and you take that money and you put it away and then you start with your next $100 and you go play your other machine or whatever it is that you want to do. But you've closed that
means that you're either walking away with 80 or you're walking away with 120 on that first round that you did. Okay. The idea here is to never leave your session with zero dollars. Resist the temptation to always play down to zero.
That is where so many people slip up. And that is exactly how the casino and slot machines are designed. They are designed to get you to play all the way down to zero. Okay? Psychologists, entire teams of psychologists and
psychiatrists work with manufacturers to ensure that that is the most likely that. And we're going to put some controls in place to make sure that we don't always do that. Don't always play down to zero. Even if you got $5 left,
cash out the $5. Go get a coffee. Not Starbucks cuz it's like $20 now. But you get the idea, right? Don't play down to zero because a lot of things Number two, you start to get a little depressed and you start to feel like you
need to chase to win that back. Right? So, this is psychological thing. And win it thoughts. It's a psychological thing. [laughter] It really is. Right? Because it's all working against you. All right? Then you
close out your session and you go do something else for at least a minimum an that, but sometimes you're only in a casino for a little while. Do something casino for a little while. Do something else for an hour. What is this doing?
Well, you'd be really surprised at what this does. Your brain inside of a casino environment starts to get a lot of rush. You feel that. You can feel it. You or you're getting excited or whatever the case is. You start to lose a little
bit of control. And that's natural. That's going to happen to most players when you're playing a slot machine. It just that's just how it is. That's what gets us gets the drive of gambling is that that
feeling that we get whenever we win or sometimes when we lose, right? It's either a negative feeling or a positive feeling, but it's not a neutral feeling. And the neutral feeling is where we need to be before we start our next session.
And a lot of scientists have said that it requires at least an hour, sometimes from wherever that is and get back to neutral. And neutral is basically where casino, right? You're kind of levelheaded. You're going in with a
plan, which I hope you are. That's what we're talking about. Of course, you want to be in that neutral zone, right? You want to just be flatlined. So, you go down there with no emotion, positive or negative. You need to have no emotion
and focus on what you're doing and have fun. Okay? you learned something from that. But guys, listen to me.
You got to understand one thing, okay? A lot of people out there are going to tell you how to win at slots, how to make $5,000 a month, how to, you know, how to get hand pays, how to get jackpots, or whatever the case is. You
see a lot of this out here and you need to be very cautious with it and always look at these methods and strategies that have bankroll management cooked in because those are the good ones. Okay? If you want to do ladder betting and
That's perfect. I think that's an awesome strategy. It's a way to keep you focused, right? But anytime somebody says anything about do this whenever you see this or if you do this you're likely to get a bonus or listen for this or
a bonus. Those are things that are getting you to chase and chasing a slot machine is the opposite of winning on a slot machine. Does that make sense? I really hate to just you know I know a lot of you in the comments are probably
People say, "Wait a minute. This said how to win at slots." And you even teased me at the beginning saying, "I figured out how to win at slots." They're negative expectation games. Do you know what that means? That means in
you know what that means? That means in the long run, you will lose in the long run. The longer you play, guys, I've been playing for 15, 20 years. I have never ever ever had a profitable year ever. And I consider myself pretty
responsible, but it's just the way it is. You need to go for entertainment, have some short-term success, and do something with that. Okay? If you are lucky enough on your 88 cent bet to win a grand, the last thing that you should
be doing is walking into the high limit room to say, "I've always wanted to do this." Because you're training your brain. Uh not going to bring you any kind of entertainment anymore or satisfaction.
And that's a slippery slope, right? So, if you get a grand on 88 cent bet, get Get the hell out of there. Go do something cool with it. Maybe pay off some credit cards or debt that you have, you know, go on a cruise, go on a
vacation, do something else with that money instead of putting it back in what they'll do. They'll start extending your stay. They'll start getting you steak dinners, all this kind of stuff, extra free play. They want that money
back and they know that all they have to do is get you in the door and you will give that money back. Okay, so I hope you guys learned a little bit here. Um, let me know in the comments what you think. Be gentle. But guys, I I would
