[00:02] guide, not that the other guide was mini, it was 2 hours long, but I want to go through the builds and kind of discuss how they play and my findings as proper. I like to do this to help people kind of find their ground as to what [00:15] they like to play and there's a lot of very viable options on preservation many of them as possible. But, this video might get a little rambly, so kick back and relax and before we go into it, [00:27] this kind of content and if you really want to support me, stop by stream. Twitch partner is all about hitting views and so the more people in there, the better. I've been chasing this goal of mine for 9 years, so it'd mean the [00:41] world to me if you could swing on by and say hello. I stream Monday through Thursday. That being said, let's get into the video. Now, before we dive into the topic proper of the day, there's something I do need to bring up and it [00:53] involves a talent that some people saw was missing on a couple of my builds and thing, if you play this game at a mid-core level all the way to a high level, there is an expectation that you're going to adjust your build or [01:06] adapt what you do based on the kind of groups and people you play with. If you've ever seen coordinated play, players play so perfectly that there's handled and managed correctly, mobs go down evenly, priority targets get [01:20] everything goes down beautifully. It's cinematic almost, but that is a far cry friends that aren't very good at the game. And there's nothing wrong with that. In fact, that skill variance is what's delightfully fun about World of [01:34] Warcraft. Change your build depending on the kind of play that you're in. Look, I'm going to give you some ideas for Mythic plus, some ideas for raid here, but I'm playing in a composition with these kinds of players. I don't think I [01:47] need XYZ talent." That's not up for me to decide. I always get these goofy comments of people saying I don't do hard enough content on preservation to like teach those the spec, but anyone who's who's doing high-level content [01:59] watching a guide, they're watching the guide to seek inspiration to understand more about the spec as they take the plunge themselves. So, I just kind of reason that's so important, by the way, is let's talk about that talent that a [02:14] lot of people said, "Hey, this was missing from your guides. Why aren't you taking it?" Twin Echoes, casting Emerald Blossom causes your next Echo to cast on an additional ally within 25 yards at 100% effectiveness. So, if you've [02:27] little timer, and then the next time you Echo, it'll go to another target as well. This is really powerful. This kind of lets you speed up your ramp. So, is this a good talent? Yeah, absolutely. And while I don't recommend it right [02:41] now, when you have tier set, your Verdant Embrace will be dropping a effectiveness. This means that Twin Echoes will proc after casting a Verdant Embrace. I really like this. This makes for a nice and powerful, smooth ramping [02:55] ability both in raid and in dungeons. However, a lot of my builds do this. They take one point in Timeless Magic. And if you're feeling really risky, you One point is sort of the beautiful breakpoint for what allows our mana [03:10] using Energy Loop to restore our mana. A huge part of the reason I do this is that it allows for a flexibility to play with our apex talents and the rest of the bottom of our tree a little more effectively. I can kind of do more while [03:23] taking a few hits on the bottom of my talent tree. This really isn't a bad over to Twin Echoes from where I am anywhere, right? Let's just take them out of the apex talents to kind of [03:36] showcase this. Machine Gun takes Flow State. Machine Gun's really, really strong. So, you know, I two points gets me here. I don't know if those two fact, I don't think they would be. Or, I might run something like this where I [03:50] grab Inner Flame so that I can get the boosted heal over time effects and 100% chance of Essence Burst for 15 seconds after popping stasis. That in its own I take that extra point and put it in something like Temporal Artifact to get [04:03] a 3-minute rewind. Or I put it in Oroboros so that occasionally I can drop might require a talent like bountiful bloom, but this might be nice in a pinch. I don't think its values are super strong right now, but you kind of [04:16] get the point. With two talent points, there's a lot you can do. There's an where when I get more crit chance, because of how much more Essence Burst we can get, Exhilarating Burst is going to put in a lot of work for us. 260% [04:29] more effective heals on crits, and you're always getting Essence Burst, means that it's very possible to be basically doing more crit healing all the time, allowing us to play something like heavy crit with high verse and high [04:42] mastery. That could be extremely fun. So, two points, is this better? I don't think so in a lot of scenarios. A lot of scenarios being that I pug, and because I pug, this feels like a stretch that doesn't get me somewhere. But let's [04:57] group, we're doing MDI time trials. This actually might be a really effective way for me to set up some healing before a major healing event, and because I know I can safely set it up without my team ruining Christmas, this might be exactly [05:12] the play. With that tier set, yeah, I could see this being really good. So, think Twin Echoes is worth it in a lot of scenarios, but there are a lot of scenarios where one could argue it is good. So, please play around with it and [05:26] walk through my builds and kind of my to make any adjustments to go grab something like say Twin Echoes, or put more points in Merithra's Blessing, be my guest. That's the other talent that's [05:39] worth talking about right now, and I'm going to get into it in just a moment. This is my standard Chrono Warden build. It's sort of traditional preservation Evoker at its finest. The big talent choices that I make is that instead of [05:51] charges of my Time Dilation. This has saved my buns a million times already. I run three points in Amarethra's Blessing, more on that in just a moment. favorite pugging talents because this tooltip doesn't sound strong, but all [06:06] you need to do is jump off of a large structure and not die and let Time of Need proc. You'll see that your Time of Need clone comes in, Verdant Embraces This will save someone's life when [06:18] makes it so strong. Remember, background healing is busted. What I like the most about the setup is that it's really good for pugs and accounts for a lot of the might see Titan's Gift here and go, "Bowser, is this just for damage?" No, [06:33] no. I mean, it is for damage, but realistically, getting a 35% stronger echo on top of already powerful echoes is incredible. When you get a large essence burst, dropping a couple of ultra-powerful echoes, and then slamming [06:48] Amarethra's Blessing or an instant cast Living Flame into all of them does a ton keeping this one around so much. It's so likely for you to get essence burst, and Chronoboon, or uh rather, Energy Cycles [07:01] talent that makes your Temporal Burst window give you all of these essence burst, yeah, you can kind of see how that would turn into a lot of healing. about Exhilarating Burst a moment ago. There's a real chance with a little more [07:14] crit this could be unbelievably powerful, and I really like the sound of that. When it comes to Chronowarden, I'm almost always recommending that you run Dream Simulacrum. 30% more healing on your Verdant Embrace becoming a heal [07:26] over time that gives you flat haste is a really, really, really powerful effect, you do like the idea of Wings of it's going to give you more Verdant Embraces to play with for for [07:40] but a less potent Verdant Embrace. Because this is so good at cashing out healing, I figured it might be something that you want to run if you know about pick, I think dream simulacrum especially in Chrono Warden is always [07:54] always always a safe play. It's also a good place to learn flame shaper, but moment. Now, let's talk about Myrtha's Blessing before I talk about machine guns. Myrtha's Blessing as a talent is powerful, but you'll find out pretty [08:07] quickly that the first talent point in it the rank one is on its own very strong. Your disintegrate, echo, and emerald blossom all count as essence spells, and essence ability is giving you a chance at this Myrtha's Blessing [08:21] and converting your reversion into Myrtha's Blessing is very very potent. this to get the value out of it. How the thing, you want to play it safe, three or four is the way to go. The [08:35] breath's instant healing is increased by 125% and dream breath % to grant Myrtha's Blessing means more Myrtha's Blessing you're using your dream breath as a heal over time. While this is more important [08:50] on flame shaper in some scenarios, you might find it very comfortable and very useful. Also, getting one more Myrtha's Blessing is a large amount of healing when you pair it with a whole bunch of echoes. So, if you're not sure, this is [09:02] pretty powerful and and you can run this or I I'd recommend it this way. Uh much a advanced user you know what you're doing thing, and I'm using one point in this because I felt like zero points in this was just not enough mana, [09:16] and one point was just right. But, if you want to run one point in this, that's fine. The two and third point let you have reversion protects allies they receive. That is pretty powerful. It does a lot [09:30] when a large healing event goes off and you're starting to ramp through it, you're already getting heals on top of it. It does feel really strong and it does work doubly, by the way. If you have an Echo Reversion and you hit [09:42] someone with two Reversions, they do get two applications of this. So, yeah, the three points here is very comfy. The fourth point could be very cozy if you need it. If you want a flex point, Time of Need is one of my favorite talents. [09:55] And of course, if you really want to get freaky, you can. I honestly think you can run something like this or potentially like this if you really want to or if you got enough crit, hey, maybe Exhilarating Burst is a lot of fun here. [10:08] So, this is what I'm running. By the way, this talent here, it might swap good with a lot of crit. Time Convergence is just good all the time. Double Time, you'll probably get more value out of it. Uh Time Convergence is [10:22] sure if you have enough crit, you can just run Time Convergence and forget about it. Now, let's talk about Machine Gun. Not a whole lot's going to change on my tree. You're going to notice I'm running the one-point Mother's Blessing [10:34] and two points in Flow State. This is powerful and I cannot even begin to tell you how nice it feels. Flow State doesn't affect spells the way you think it does and I need to kind of explain why it's still good. The reason is is [10:48] that it doesn't give you haste, but it gives you the effects of haste. 10% speed, cooldown recharge rate, and cast speed. Cooldown recharge rate affects moves that are non-hasted. So, if I go to [11:02] says it's a 20-second cooldown. That number is unaffected unless something reduces its cooldown in particular. Instability Matrix has a chance to or not a chance, it will reduce it from anywhere between 0 or maybe 1 second and [11:16] 6 seconds. I don't know the exact math on Instability Matrix. This will cool cooldown is not reduced by anything else. Like if you have a bazillion haste, Dream Breath stays at 20 seconds. However, check out Reversion. That text [11:30] is green on its recharge. That means that it is a hastened cooldown and that its cooldown is reduced by haste. Now, so does temporal anomaly and it's only global cooldown is also getting reduced, [11:44] not too effective. There are specs that reduce their cooldowns way heavier and they'll run high haste because they move cooldown. What makes flow state interesting is that it works on all of these moves. So, flow state is reducing [11:58] this by 10% while it's running, this by 10% and even rewind by 10% while it's running. This only amounts to a couple of seconds, right? It can't be that strong. Except you're always throwing out these empowered spells. When you [12:11] consider the time between pulls or downtime plus your empowered spells that you're almost always using for healing or for damage or to get extra resources rolling, you're going to get a lot of your time back and 10% faster casting [12:23] speed with our very slow cast times can feel wonderful. When you combine that downright snappy to throw a living flame while you have the ancient flame bonus. So, I love and I mean adore flow state and if you like the machine gun build, [12:39] machine gun that might be really fun are things like rolling in our flame to make your stasis a bit more of a cooldown window. That could be really fun. In fact, I sometimes want to run this with my standard build as well. There's [12:54] here. You can, of course, dig a little deeper into the Maritha's blessing side of things and just have to go crazy with the energy loop disintegrates to get all your mana back, but it's viable and it's very fun. So, I highly recommend [13:07] checking out machine gun. If you want to run machine gun on flame shaper, I'm going to tell you right now, it's not good. Like it's not bad, but like it's you don't play into the benefits of flame shaper and you don't play into the [13:20] benefits of chrono warden. So, if you're going to play machine gun, I do warden. If you like the way Flowstate feels on Flameshaper, you can run it. points could get you more value somewhere else when we're talking about [13:35] Flameshaper. Okay, now I need to stop saying the word Flameshaper and actually talk about the Flameshaper talents. On the Flameshaper side of things, I have a lot of fun with this. I had a lot of fun with Flameshaper Mythic Plus and I want [13:47] you to know why. It's more creative. I said that in my guide, but I want you to think about it like this. Flameshaper specializes in giving you stronger and faster heal over times and damage over times with Dream Breath and Fire Breath [13:59] respectively. Fire Breath additionally counts as a heal. So, one of the fun parts about this because of Life Giver's Flame, this is on Chronowarden too, but because you do extra damage with your Fire Breath over time, you get more [14:11] pack of enemies, you're going to get healing from them. That as a backbone while you also use Dream Breath to heal people can be really strong. So, let's say you double Dream Breath your whole party with Echoes and Temporal Anomaly [14:25] and then you hit a fat Fire Breath level one or level two on the mobs. That's a ton of passive healing. Now you can use your Consume Flame with Blossoms, Verdant Embrace, and Echoed Verdant Embraces cuz by the way, you can consume [14:37] multiple flames using your Echoes. So, feel free to throw a Temporal Anomaly and Verdant Embrace everyone for a massive little Consume Flame moment. But when all of this is combined and rolling, it's incredible. But there's [14:50] like 10,000 ways to cook an egg, right? And that's kind of what's going on here is I like getting Reversions on everyone to really maximize my grace period, healing on everyone that has it. Then [15:03] the other Dream Breath for a rainy day or when I need to reapply the heal. I additional healing and then I kind of spot heal and play some traditional Preservation Evoker waiting for my Temporal Anomaly to come off cool down. [15:16] or you could go for a big Verdant Embrace heal on a bunch of Dream Breaths and get a bunch of consume flame and a burst heal from verdant embrace. If to be a stronger heal. If you run wings of liberty, you can get more single [15:29] target healing, more life bind healing, and you can get more uses of verdant embrace in between these windows. So, there's so many ways you can cook this. And like, I'm not even like done, right? Like, you could apply other talents, or [15:43] you could run twin echoes, which has some serious use cases here because the accidental blossoms that you drop are going to be consuming some flame. So, if you're dropping a free blossom at your feet with our tier set, it [15:57] right? It's a very, very fun way to play. I'm going to spend a lot of time I want to get really good at it. I feel like there are so many viable ways to there's a lot of variants. So, it's going to just be straight-up harder, but [16:13] ineffective. And at a really high level, I think it's going to turn into a flame target and pointed healing checks where you need that single target burst heal, and chronowarden's going to do well with more back-to-back large AoE style heals [16:28] cooldowns over and over again in order to make it through something. Both of different end games depending on what the dungeons look like. And we don't really know what they're going to look like until after tuning and we get all [16:41] I'm not even really sure what it might look like at the highest level, but shaper or chronowarden in terms of what they provide. Chronowarden just being extremely safe, and flame shaper giving you a plethora of fun options. So, play [16:56] some of you going, "Bowser, did you try it? Did you try blossom?" I did. And it's Okay. I have good news and bad news. Let me hold them really quick. Let me walk you through this. The bad news, [17:13] it's not very good. The good news, it's better than it's I think, very confidently, you could probably heal through the 10 and 12 range, even early season, with a blossom build. It's harder, you are working [17:27] harder, and for whatever reason, I don't know why, you are going to be working talents to get rid of to try to get power nexus here to make my blossom life of relying on essence burst, and that does seem to work. However, you can't [17:42] resonating sphere as they are too strong. This simply provides you too much healing, too many chances at essence burst, which turns into more get rid of golden hour and time lord as that's what's making your echo so good. [17:55] Maybe you do, but then golden hour, which is easily one of the best heals in the entire game, is no longer helping you. And I don't think I want to play you might be crazy enough to try it, and you know what? I think there's something [18:08] there, but me, I ain't going to try it. Fluttering seedlings is bad in mythic plus. Not because it's not good, it's just that blossom builds are good at going wide. They're good at healing lots of players and spreading the heals out [18:22] to be a little more pointed, a little bit taller, right? Less like a field, And thus, fluttering seedlings isn't doing a whole lot just to get the field of dreams which is more consistent now with every other blossom giving us a [18:37] free blossom, and you don't have control of where that blossom goes. So, if the free blossom goes to the back line and consume flames one person, uh tough luck. Uh you're not getting a whole lot out of that blossom. So, it just feels [18:49] like everything else you could do on flame shaper or chronowarden in mythic plus is done better by those builds, and trying to play around more of the blossom side of things feels like you're just working harder. But, I know who a [19:02] and really push yourself or do something pretty and beautiful, I think there's some elegant healing you can do with a build like this if you really know what you're doing. So, I don't want to discourage people who are into very [19:15] creative play styles. This just makes it more creative and technically worse, but there's a lot of level of content that can be done with the style build. So, if build, do it. Just be prepared you kind of [19:30] can't leave home without a lot of these talents. You need a lot of these talents effectiveness out of blossom. So, you're not just going to be able to spam blossoms and not do anything else. It's not going to work that way. I'm so sorry [19:42] to my bestie Cali. I know that's the way you said you want to heal, but you don't you. I'll I'll rant you about it one of these nights. In Kindled, by the way, build, it's between Expanded Lungs and In [19:55] Kindled. Expanded Lungs fire breath damage over time is increased by 30% 30%. This is a lot of healing, especially given that I believe the town damage and their healing happen 20% more [20:08] This is such a powerful combo. In Kindled doesn't feel good. I did try to use In Kindled. It just doesn't feel great. So, even on the blossom build, every single time. Now, I want to talk about raid builds [20:22] really quick, as this season I don't plan on raiding a whole lot. Listen, mythic raid getting a CE title, it could be cool, but honestly, it's so much time and effort to raid lead, two nights a week, prepare for the fights, gear my [20:36] characters, while also trying to make content. I'm a full-time YouTuber and streamer. I don't really have the time to do that. So, I figured I'd just sit and I'm typically tanking in the community stuff. So, I'm not going to be [20:49] raiding all the time. However, if I was raiding, I do think blossom in raid's setup. It might look something a little more like Mhm, probably this. Right? Maybe or maybe even something like this. [21:07] for a blossom build, but when you're running blossoms in raid, I do think it's pretty viable. It sounds like it could be pretty good. I'm worried about it being an HPS trap. I made a whole video on how HPS can be misleading, so [21:19] about it here. Sometimes players just chase like really high HPS numbers, but that's not helpful for the way their team is healing, and they could get more effective healing by doing more spot healing or smart healing. Not that I [21:33] that's my fear of how it might play out with healers that aren't coordinating correctly. At a high level, I think this is going to be solid. That being said, I do have a build that I'm thinking about when it comes to the Chrono Warden side [21:47] all of that. Now, I just want to note there's an extremely real chance that I put a talent point in Twin Echoes over here over tempo charged, but the way temporal anomalies. Remember, your temporal anomalies cooldown is lowered, [22:02] so it's a roughly 10-second cooldown. And it costs less mana. So, when you get a double temporal anomaly very easily, get a bazillion reversions out on the party, pop a really fat dream flight on the party, and let inner flame [22:17] do a whole lot of work for you. Or, you could start the party with the dream flight, let your final stasis rip, and then hit a bunch of reversions and get all that essence burst chance, and use all those essence bursts to funnel more [22:29] reversions out to your team, letting you basically rod heal the party. Because remember, not only is Merithra's blessing pretty nice in raid, but of all damage taken and healing them instead. That is so so powerful in a [22:46] raid's getting bursted down, and you set up this big healing chat setup, and you got like 15, 12, something players with a reversion running on them, and then some of that damage. They're healing back the damage from the reversions. [23:00] your dream flight. And then any spot healing and dream breaths and otherwise you do afterwards is a bonus on top of any of that potentially smart healing and healing the players that need more. And I think that in its own right sounds [23:14] super duper powerful. And that would be the thing I'm the most excited about. There's a chance I raid with my mythic team for our heroic clear just for the first week or the second week. And yeah, something like this might work for that [23:26] but I don't know. I might be tanking. I don't know what they have planned for me so let me know your rating experiences. Stop by stream sometime and let me know. A final note before a final final note. PVP players, [23:40] I'm running this in battlegrounds and I'll probably run this in arenas and this is probably a little psychopathic. I'm probably not running Dream Walker's people. I'm probably running Nullifying Shroud or Unburdened Flight. Uh most of [23:53] the time Scouring Flame whenever you're into a druid as this is really strong into druids. But this is what I'm running in PVP. And and the mindset is just that you do so much damage on preservation. Like no [24:05] seriously, if anybody's trying to duel you and you sink your damage into them, you'll do a noteworthy amount of damage. Combine that with your partner or somebody else helping you damaging an ally and or an enemy, excuse me, and [24:17] you'll fry them alive and you can quickly convert back to healing. Because Disintegrate, as much as I love it, Disintegrate tends to be more damage because you can't always get out the Chronoflame, but you can almost always [24:31] start the Disintegrate. This begins the GCD. This means your damage has started and if you have to convert to healing immediately afterwards, you usually can. As if you have two Essence Bursts or an Essence Burst, you haven't used up all [24:43] Disintegrate. And if it's Titan's gifted, it's going to be doing even more damage. This is probably at higher levels better to go into something like Inner Flame where you'll probably get way more value and maybe grabbing [24:55] something like Temporal Artificer as well. but the flow state combined with everything, I feel pretty awesome. And you're probably watching on stream right now the clip of me surviving for like 5 minutes in PvP in a battleground. [25:08] This isn't any serious footage, but I was having so much fun playing preservation in PvP. Now, before we end the video, you're probably wondering, "Bowser, well, if you're not rating, what else are you doing? Are you playing [25:21] are you making?" I plan on making a priest guide. I plan on making a they're going to come out because I have something a little bit bigger on my hint, and it's not a hint if you've been on Blue Sky, you've probably seen it [25:34] before. But in case you haven't, in Dragonflight season 3, I played all the healers and I pugged them all to 3K. I might be doing it again. You'll have to stop by stream to find out. That being said, thank you all so [25:48] ramble. If you want me to talk about anything else, let me know down below. I so if my next video takes a week and a few days in order to get out, I'm so sorry. But hopefully this has been fun, and we'll talk again real soon. See you [26:02] and we'll talk again real soon. See you later, friend.
