results AI video generator is one [3:33] of these keyword SL search phrases so [3:36] when people search for this my video [3:38] then shows up number two that is pretty [3:40] high they can click on that video and [3:42] then watch it okay so you now get what [3:44] it is however you still might wonder [3:46] Yuri why is this so important why do you [3:48] have to do keyword research if you want [3:50] to rank your video well simply set once [3:52] again if you make videos at random [3:54] chances are you won't get what you're [3:55] looking for which is good views and we [3:57] can prove that by taking a look at this [3:59] video that I uploaded on August 24th [4:02] 2020 so that is over 3 years ago and [4:05] this video only ended up getting 147 [4:08] views why because I did not do any [4:11] keyword research I just made a video [4:13] that I thought would be interesting for [4:14] people on YouTube and I got proven wrong [4:17] because this video did not perform well [4:18] it's not ranking and the last 48 hours [4:21] it is getting zero views now let's [4:23] compare that to actually doing qart [4:24] research this is one of the videos that [4:26] I also uploaded February 21st 202 2 [4:30] about 600 days ago and as you can see [4:32] there's still a lot of traffic coming [4:34] every single day from YouTube search 80% [4:37] is coming from YouTube search 5% from [4:40] external which is going to be Google [4:41] search and that makes up for the [4:43] majority of traffic on this video so [4:45] this video with keyword research had [4:47] 114,000 views got me close to 600 [4:51] subscribers as well as made me close to [4:53] $900 which is one video but the best [4:56] part is this video is ranking in the [4:58] search results and because of that it is [5:00] still getting views and making money [5:02] every single day so basically set [5:04] without keyword research you must rely [5:06] on YouTube showing your videos to people [5:07] on the homepage and recommended section [5:10] however if this doesn't happen and most [5:12] likely it will not especially if you're [5:13] just getting started you'll be stuck at [5:16] zero views however with the keyword [5:18] research you can properly analyze the [5:20] best opportunities to get views on your [5:23] video because before making your video [5:25] you already know that there's interest [5:27] because people search for your video [5:28] topic now now now that you know that all [5:31] you need to do is show up in these [5:32] search results for people to discover [5:34] your video now once again taking a look [5:36] at my actual YouTube Studio this video [5:39] right there uploaded over 3 years ago [5:41] only has five views literally five views [5:44] it made me 1 cent on the first day since [5:46] then it didn't make me any money this [5:48] video is not ranking it's not getting [5:50] any views it's completely dead why [5:52] because they not do proper keyword [5:55] research then comparing that to this [5:56] video right here this video is well [5:59] alive as you can see this video in total [6:01] 88,000 views so far I made [6:04] $529 but the best part is every single [6:07] hour this is still getting views so in [6:09] the last 48 hours close to 1,000 views [6:11] last 60 Minutes 22 views most of it [6:14] comes from YouTube search so this video [6:16] is ranking really well as you can see in [6:18] the initial stages it wasn't getting [6:20] that many views but after a month or so [6:22] it started to pick up pick up pick up [6:24] and right now it's doing very very well [6:26] making about $3 every single day now to [6:28] finish that off I want you to answer [6:30] this question so when searching for [6:31] something online whether that be Google [6:33] YouTube whatever do you ever go to the [6:35] fifth page no right you click on one of [6:38] the first results that shows up so in [6:40] order to end up number one you need to [6:42] do keyword research I'll use a freest [6:44] step process for my keyword research [6:46] step one will lead into step two and [6:48] into step three now remember this will [6:50] be a very detailed tutorial so chances [6:53] are you might have questions about [6:54] certain things but the answers will [6:56] probably be given in the following steps [6:59] Okay so step number one is finding [7:00] keywords people actually search for [7:02] because if you rank for a keyword that [7:04] nobody searches for you'll still get [7:06] zero views and that's not what we want [7:08] so one of the ways to find keywords with [7:10] search volume is by using the search bar [7:12] on YouTube when typing in something in [7:15] this bar YouTube will show you the most [7:17] relevant keywords to what you typed in [7:19] and this is based on YouTube data so if [7:21] we type in AI we will find a list of [7:24] keywords which is called search [7:26] predictions now all of these predictions [7:28] are based on what you typed into this [7:30] bar initially so all of these keywords [7:32] now show up because people have actually [7:34] searched for it before meaning we know [7:37] for a fact that people search for this [7:38] which is exactly what we want so how do [7:41] I know for a fact that people search for [7:42] this simply said YouTube wants to show [7:45] the viewer the most relevant keywords [7:47] the keyword they are most likely looking [7:49] for and because of that they will show [7:51] search predictions based on most search [7:54] volume to least search volume so in the [7:56] search bar you can find all keywords [7:58] people actually search for on the entire [8:01] platform of YouTube so what we can now [8:03] do is use the search bar to find all [8:05] keywords people search for in your Niche [8:08] let's say my Niche is AI if I now type [8:10] in AI I will see a whole list of [8:12] keywords that I can potentially make a [8:14] video about now you can extract all [8:16] these keywords manually by doing a few [8:18] different combinations in the search bar [8:21] the first one is the alphabet method [8:23] after typing in a keyword you can type [8:25] in every letter of the alphabet to make [8:27] more detailed keyword show up for [8:29] example if I type in how to a you get [8:32] this entire list of keywords if I then [8:34] type in how to B the list will change [8:36] and I get all of these how to see once [8:39] again the list will change if I now add [8:41] a word in between that for example how [8:43] to delete a this list shows up how to [8:47] delete B etc etc this will once again be [8:50] a whole new list of keywords for every [8:52] letter you put in you can then change [8:55] delete to a different word do the entire [8:57] alphabet again and once again you'll get [8:59] thousands of keywords so that way you [9:01] can already get endless keywords to show [9:03] up the second method is using the [9:05] underscore after typing in at least two [9:07] words you can put the underscore in [9:09] between them to see keywords people [9:12] search for using the initial two words [9:15] that you used for example let's say I [9:17] type in how to Instagram then I put the [9:20] underscore between them and you get to [9:22] see all of these keywords right here [9:24] there's a few more ways to combine sech [9:26] strategies to find endless amounts of [9:29] keywords and that's exactly what I did [9:31] back in 2020 however it is a bit of a [9:33] pain and it takes quite a long time to [9:36] find all of these keywords especially if [9:38] you want to search for very detailed [9:40] long teal keywords that have high search [9:42] volume and low competition since this [9:44] year I found that doing research is much [9:46] easier as well as quicker by using vid [9:48] iq's keywords tool all of the keywords [9:51] that show up on vid IQ are extracted [9:54] from the search bar in the first place [9:56] which means we have access to the exact [9:57] same keywords however with it IQ we can [10:00] find them much quicker as well as easier [10:02] especially for beginners reason for that [10:05] is because you don't need to play around [10:06] with all these combinations in the [10:08] search bar in the first place so what I [10:10] like to do on vid IQ is start off by [10:12] typing in the main keyword in my [10:14] industry let's say I make videos about [10:16] AI technology I will type in AI this is [10:20] the initial keyword that we search for I [10:22] call this the main keyword then I click [10:25] on matching terms what this does is that [10:27] it will show me more keywords that have [10:30] my initial keyword that I search for in [10:32] it so Ai and then we get AI cover AI [10:35] news AI tools AI voice changer and the [10:38] list goes on and on so just with that [10:40] one click on matching terms we're now [10:42] able to find a dozen keywords that [10:44] include AI then you've also got related [10:46] keywords which is slightly different [10:48] however it also allows you to find tons [10:50] of keywords instead of showing you more [10:52] keywords that has your keyword in it [10:54] related keywords shows you similar [10:56] things to what your keyword is so for [10:58] example searching for AI will also show [11:01] you stuff that includes AI but it will [11:03] also show you keywords that don't for [11:05] example machine learning deep learning [11:07] Future tools mat wolf so just to get it [11:10] clear matching terms will show you [11:12] keywords that include the keyword that [11:14] you search for related keywords will [11:16] show you similar things to the keyword [11:18] that you search for not necessarily [11:20] including the keyword itself but that's [11:22] not the good part what I like the most [11:24] is that I can now click on any of these [11:26] keywords and do the same thing so let's [11:29] I click on AI voice changer AI voice [11:31] changer will now become my keyword that [11:34] I search for if I then click on matching [11:36] terms again I will once again get a list [11:39] of dozen of keywords that include AI [11:41] voice changer so I went from searching [11:43] for AI then clicking twice to finding [11:46] all of these keywords right here and [11:48] that is why viq is so powerful because [11:50] you're to these scores so if you're going to go [12:48] based on these scores alone everyone can [12:50] do the exact same as you you don't have [12:52] the skills yourself to understand why [12:54] this might be a good keyword and why [12:56] this might not be a good keyword so [12:58] because of that I don't really take a [13:00] look at the scores too much because [13:01] number one they're not extremely [13:03] reliable and number two everyone has [13:06] access to the same score so if we're [13:08] going to decide to make a video just [13:10] based on that score and everyone will do [13:11] the same we're all going to make the [13:13] same video and we've got no competitive [13:15] advantage over everybody else that's [13:17] using these scores to do their keyword [13:19] research whereas if we do the research [13:22] ourselves we can understand the keyword [13:24] better and crush the competition so [13:26] instead what I do is I copy the keyword [13:28] same simply select it click copy one [13:30] keyword then go to YouTube and simply [13:33] search for the keyword that you found [13:34] which in my case is Real Time AI voice [13:36] changer and then search for it but [13:38] before I show you step number two which [13:40] is how you can find a difference between [13:42] good keywords and bad keywords which [13:44] will decide whether your video is going [13:45] to get views or no views at all let's [13:47] first do some more keyword research and [13:49] fill out this list of keywords that [13:51] later in this video I can analyze so [13:53] that you [15:05] more detailed longtail keywords about [15:08] Photoshop AI because just Photoshop AI [15:10] is most likely going to be way too [15:12] competitive especially if we have a [15:14] small channel so we're now matching [15:16] terms for Photoshop AI let me scroll [15:18] down and see what I find so right there [15:21] I notice how to use Photoshop AI that [15:24] right there is a very good keyword as it [15:26] will allow us to create a tutorial video [15:28] which often do well for ranking so this [15:30] one has caught my attention now what I [15:32] could do is right away save keywords now instead of [17:17] clicking on matching terms you can also [17:19] click on related keywords if I do that [17:21] for the canva keyword and I now start [17:23] scrolling you'll see the massive topics [17:25] right here however I can already tell [17:27] you these are going to be way too [17:28] competitive but if I continue to scroll [17:30] through this list for example how to use [17:33] canva app seems like an interesting one [17:35] to me so what I'm going to do is I'm [17:36] going to save this keyword and put it in [17:38] my list and the best part is knowing the [17:40] strategy you can do this for every [17:41] platform for example let's say you make [17:43] videos about Shopify you type in Shopify [17:46] let's go to matching terms then right [17:47] away all of these are the very big ones [17:49] so I'm not going to use these ones [17:51] however Shopify SEO seems pretty [17:54] interesting so I'm going to click on [17:55] Shopify SEO then once again this is terms now what I noticed right at the [18:33] bat is that the keywords that show up in [18:35] the first place have a lot of search [18:37] volume why because these are not very [18:39] specific keywords this is just an entire [18:41] industry as a keyword so this is [18:44] probably not what I'm looking for so [18:45] instead what I will do is scroll down [18:47] and just see which keywords I notice for [18:49] example how to start a digital marketing [18:52] agency that is a specific detailed [18:55] keyword for example how to get clients [18:57] for digital marketing agency so I will [18:59] take these two keywords and put them in [19:01] my list step number two is researching [19:04] whether there's actual search volume as [19:06] well as if you've got the opportunity to [19:08] rank your video the way I do that is by [19:10] opening up the ranking videos in a brand [19:12] new tab so right click open a new tab [19:15] right click open a new tab and then [19:17] right here open a new tab so I've just [19:20] opened all the high ranking videos for [19:22] the keyword that we found with it IQ [19:24] which was real time AI voice changer so [19:27] always search for the keyword that that [19:28] you find in vid IQ and then open the [19:31] ranking videos then in order to see how [19:33] many views the ranking videos are [19:35] getting we need vid iq's feature called [19:37] historical data now this is the only [19:39] tool that allows us to get data from [19:42] other people's videos and with this tool [19:44] we can check the performance over time [19:46] but more importantly the views per hour [19:48] this video is getting as of right now [19:50] which will save us from making a big [19:52] mistake and that's the mistake most [19:54] people make that keeps them from getting [19:55] a lot of views because look at this [19:57] let's say I found this keyword how to [19:59] change fun on Tik Tok one of the ranking [20:01] videos has 224,000 views I could now [20:05] think I found a good keyword with vid IQ [20:08] because this channel is ranking for my [20:09] keyword has 224,000 views I can now very [20:13] easily think I would love to get 200,000 [20:15] views myself so let's make the video [20:18] however I didn't check if as of right [20:21] now people still search for this because [20:23] if I now take a look at the views per [20:25] hour on this video you can see that vid [20:27] IQ stopped tracking it in May 2022 and [20:31] back then it was not even getting one [20:33] view per hour which means that if it's [20:35] not updated as of right now it's not [20:37] getting any views whatsoever and that's [20:39] the mistake this channel made right here [20:41] they made the exact same topic but they [20:43] didn't check if people were still [20:44] searching for this because of this this [20:46] video only has 395 views not even enough [20:50] to get the data to show up in the first [20:52] place on this video so with the [20:53] historical data tool we can [20:55] differentiate the difference between a [20:57] good and a bad keyword if the high [20:59] ranking videos all get good views per [21:01] hour that's a great sign that people [21:03] still searching for this if all of the [21:05] ranking videos used to get a lot of [21:08] views per hour and now get zero views or [21:11] the tracking is not up to it is most likely [22:28] that the ini initial views came from [22:29] subscribers what you want to look for [22:31] when you want to rank a keyword to get [22:33] search trffic is whether this video is [22:35] continuing to get views every single day [22:37] which from this line itself we can say [22:40] that that is indeed the case then next [22:42] up which is more important let's take a [22:44] look at views per hour once again [22:46] initially gets about 100 views per hour [22:48] which is from his subscribers don't pay [22:50] attention to that instead let's take a [22:52] look at a few weeks after uploading as [22:55] well as right now so you can see that a [22:56] few weeks after uploading but a month [22:59] later this video is still getting about [23:01] nine 10 eight views amount of views per hour it is getting [23:51] and divide it by three if the number [23:53] that comes out of that is something I'd [23:54] be happy with to get on my video I make [23:57] the video if the number that comes out [23:59] of it is something I won't be happy with [24:01] I leave the keyword so the views per [24:03] hour that you should look for is kind of [24:04] a gray area simply do the research and [24:06] if the amount of views per hour is [24:07] something you desire you know that it's [24:09] worth it chances are this is search [24:11] trffic because this video is ranking [24:13] number one for that keyword and that way [24:15] we kind of need verify that there are [24:17] still a lot of people searching for this [24:19] keyword at this moment this video is [24:21] getting about seven or six views per [24:23] hour which will equal out about 144 [24:26] views per day which is not bad at all on [24:28] a mon monly basis that is 4,000 views if [24:30] you can get 25 videos like this you're [24:32] already at 100,000 views per month it [24:35] all starts to add up over time now I [24:37] happen to know ndi personally so I sent [24:39] him a text asking if he can confirm that [24:41] this video isn't he getting traffic from [24:43] search and as you can see he came [24:45] through send me this screenshot and as [24:47] you can see 75% of the traffic isn't he [24:50] coming from YouTube search on that video [24:53] so we were correct then let's take a [24:55] look at the second ranking video for [24:56] that keyword so once again we're going [24:58] to getting about 100 [25:08] views every single hour as of right now [25:11] having analyzed that I can definitely [25:13] tell you there's a lot of search traffic [25:15] for this type of keyword and then we've [25:17] got video number three right here [25:19] however this is a tricky one the reason [25:21] for that is because this title does not [25:23] match at all with our search phrase our [25:25] search phrase is Real Time AI voice [25:27] changer right there this only contains [25:30] AI voice changer which means that this [25:32] video might be doing well on a different [25:34] keyword than we found so you always want [25:36] to make sure that the videos you analyze [25:38] include the keyword that we found in the [25:40] first place however the first two videos [25:43] do indeed get quite some good traffic [25:45] which means we didn't inde confirm that [25:47] people are searching for this once [25:49] you've confirmed that the videos are [25:50] still getting views what you can do [25:52] additionally as well is open up the [25:54] channel in a new tab and then with the [25:55] viq extension you can click right right [25:58] here on these free dots click view [26:00] trending videos trending videos from vid [26:02] IQ allows you to see which videos are [26:04] currently getting the most views per [26:06] hour on a channel which as you can see [26:09] apart from these two shorts the video [26:11] that we found with that keyword is [26:13] indeed their best performing video which [26:15] is also a very good sign so if the high [26:17] ranking videos are getting good views [26:19] per hour and is one of their trending [26:20] videos this will be a good keyword which [26:23] brings us to step number three now that [26:24] we found a good keyword that hasn't de [26:26] got search traffic we need to figure out [26:29] if we can rank our video for that we're [26:31] going to research these four points [26:33] number one are they using the exact [26:35] keyword in their title as I told you [26:37] before YouTube wants to show the most [26:39] relevant video to the audience so that [26:41] most likely they will click and watch a [26:43] video that way YouTube makes more money [26:46] so knowing that YouTube will serve the [26:47] most relevant video to an audience what [26:49] they will do is show the video most [26:51] relevant to a keyword which means that [26:54] if you include your keyword in the title [26:56] preferably at the start of your title [26:58] you'll rank higher than videos that [27:00] don't include the exact keyword and I [27:02] can show you that right now so let's say [27:04] we search for realtime AI voice changer [27:06] as you will see the number one ranking [27:08] video is indeed real time AI voice [27:11] changer which is a direct match with our [27:13] keyword the second video from Andy has [27:16] best AI voice changer real time so Andy [27:19] has switched up these keywords making [27:21] him not out rank this person right there [27:23] even though his video is much longer and [27:25] accumulates more watch time now the [27:27] reason and's video was initially ranking [27:29] number one when I searched for this was [27:31] because I was signed into my account and [27:33] I've previously watched videos from Andy [27:36] so if you want to do proper research [27:37] always do this in a private window so [27:39] that all of the results are 100% clean [27:42] so knowing all of that what we're [27:43] looking for when researching is videos [27:46] that are ranking very high that do not [27:48] include the entire keyword now for this [27:50] keyword that unfortunately is not the [27:52] case as the number one ranking video [27:54] does indeed include the exact keyword [27:56] the way you can research that very [27:57] easily is taking the keyword copying it [28:00] clicking on the fre dots in Chrome click [28:02] find and then search for this and then [28:04] as you can see it will show you how many [28:06] people have this it will always have one [28:08] result because it's what we search for [28:10] so every number above one means one of [28:12] the videos includes the exact phrase so [28:15] as you can see there's only two results [28:16] which means only one video has the exact [28:18] keyword in their title and because of [28:20] that this video is ranking number one [28:23] now first of all let me back that up so [28:25] notice how this video is now number one [28:27] because it's the most relevant let's now [28:28] search for this best AI voice changer [28:31] real time I've not searched for this yet [28:33] but I can guarantee you that Andy's [28:34] video will now show up number one simply [28:37] because it matches my keyword so let's [28:39] search for this and there we go as you [28:41] can see and the AI now shows up number [28:44] one why simply because our keyword that [28:46] we search for is the exact title that he [28:49] has confirming that you want to use the [28:51] exact keyword in your title so knowing [28:53] that your video can rank number one when [28:55] you use the exact keyword in your title [28:57] ultim what we want to find is videos [29:00] that rank very high in search that do [29:02] not use the exact keyword as their title [29:05] which leaves the opportunity for us to [29:06] do that exact thing so once you found a [29:08] keyword that has ranking videos who do [29:10] not use the exact keyword that is a [29:13] great sign you can out rank them Point [29:14] number two is taking a look at the [29:16] channel size if you search for a keyword [29:18] and all of the ranking videos are from [29:20] Channels with millions of subscribers [29:22] you're probably not going to outrank [29:24] them as a small Channel which is the [29:26] case for the keyword Shopify tutorial as [29:28] you can see the number one ranking video [29:30] has 400,000 subscribers the second [29:32] ranking video 235,000 subscribers almost [29:36] 800,000 subscribers [29:39] 350,000 making this a very very hard [29:41] keyword to rancom simply because the [29:44] competition has very big channels as [29:46] well as high quality content so that [29:48] would be a bad sign however if you [29:50] search for a keyword and a lot of the [29:51] ranking videos are from small channels [29:53] or channels that don't have hundreds of [29:55] thousands or millions of subscribers [29:57] that that is indeed a good sign because [29:59] if they were able to rank as a smaller [30:01] Channel you can do the same Shopify SEO [30:04] optimization is a great example for a [30:06] keyword that you probably able to rank [30:08] on because there are smaller channels [30:10] ranking very high the number one ranking [30:12] video is from a Channel with just 9.6k [30:15] subscribers which is not big at all the [30:17] second ranking video is from a channel [30:19] that's even smaller just 3.9k [30:21] subscribers like we saw earlier in this [30:23] video as well the third point is video [30:25] length so YouTube is known to rank [30:27] videos based B on the total watch time [30:29] that video accumulates which means that [30:31] if all of the ranking videos are kind of [30:33] short and you can make a longer plus a [30:36] better video and that is the key point [30:38] there you don't just want to make a [30:39] longer video for the sake of it because [30:41] then the quality will drop but a longer [30:43] and better video that is once again a [30:45] great sign that you're going to outrank [30:47] them because it will accumulate more [30:48] watch time people will enjoy it more or [30:50] at least that's what YouTu will think [30:52] because that's a sign it gives and [30:53] because of that you can outrank the [30:55] currently ranking videos Point number [30:57] four that I like take a look at is the [30:58] thumbnail let's say that all of the [31:00] ranking videos have extremely bad [31:02] thumbnails and you see an opportunity to [31:04] make a much better thumbnail that once [31:06] again is a great sign you will outrank [31:08] them because your CTR your clickthrough [31:10] rate will be higher and because of that [31:12] once again YouTube will show your video [31:14] much higher than the videos with a very [31:16] low clickr rate Leonardo AI tutorial is [31:19] one of those keywords as you can see the [31:20] first two ranking videos in my opinion [31:23] don't have the best thumbnails as you [31:25] can see the first one has text that is [31:26] overlapping a logo as well as overall [31:29] just doesn't look that great same goes [31:30] for the second one as you can see [31:32] there's a lot of stuff going on the text [31:34] is kind of hard to read as well as it [31:35] doesn't look professional now that is [31:37] perfect for us so what I did I created a [31:39] brand new thumbnail how I would create [31:40] it which look like this on the right [31:42] hand side we've got the character from [31:44] Leonardo AI we've got the Leonardo AI [31:46] logo so that people will recognize it as [31:48] well as it simply says complete tutorial [31:50] 2023 very easy to read bolt font and I [31:53] use a yellow text on a black background [31:55] so that the contrast is good the new [31:57] version will outperform this one every [31:59] single day of the week same goes for [32:00] this one once again this one in my [32:02] opinion much much better and by the way [32:04] if you want to figure out what your [32:05] thumbnail looks like before uploading it [32:07] there's a website called thumbs up.tv [32:09] where you can upload your image right [32:11] here insert your title and then by doing [32:13] so you can see what it looks like on [32:15] YouTube you can even see it per device [32:17] as well as the traffic Source now having [32:19] our checklist with points to look at [32:21] when doing research for a keyword let's [32:24] [33:08] so what I would do next is first of all [33:10] take the keyword go to find and then see [33:12] if there's anyone that has our exact [33:14] keyword in their title which as you can [33:16] see right there one out of one which [33:18] means no one has this exact title which [33:21] honestly couldn't be better which also [33:23] means that point number three we don't [33:25] even have to take a look at simply [33:27] because [33:28] there is no direct competition on this [33:30] exact keyword so even if there are big [33:32] channels ranking right here if we use [33:34] our exact keyword as our title we're [33:37] going to outrank them when people search [33:39] for this specific keyword which is [33:41] perfect and then the same goes for the [33:43] video length as well as if there's a [33:44] good or bad thumbnail now the video [33:46] length right here could be much better [33:47] so we can easily create a better video [33:50] while also making it a little bit longer [33:53] for this one that's going to be hard [33:54] because it's 18 minutes however like I [33:57] said because no one has the exact [33:58] keyword this will still get the job done [34:01] for us this means that music AI voice [34:03] changer real time is a good keyword to [34:05] make a video about to get our video to [34:07] rank for that keyword simply because [34:09] there seems to be zero that's 1,500 views a month and these [34:38] kind of videos have a very high CPM [34:41] which means technically it still might [34:43] be worth it taking a look at the second [34:44] video this one is getting even more [34:46] views you can see about 40 views per [34:48] hour let's check that right there 50 [34:50] views per hour even as of right now as [34:53] well as it continues to go up very very [34:55] steadily which is good to see and then [34:57] number three is even better if we go [34:58] over here you can see 132 views per hour [35:01] however what I already noticed is that [35:03] the channels that are ranking are very [35:05] big you can see 100,000 subscribers [35:08] 800,000 and then 3.7 million so the [35:11] video that isn't doing as well as the [35:14] other two is from a channel that simply [35:16] doesn't get views anyway most of the [35:18] time if we take a look at that right [35:20] here Mike nardy normally gets a few [35:22] hundred views per video so this for him [35:25] is actually a pretty good video So based [35:27] on this we might still make the video [35:29] however if we don't analyze number two [35:31] and three which is from Central media as [35:34] well as imangi these are very very big [35:36] channels and chances are that this video [35:38] is simply getting pushed in the [35:40] recommended simply because this video is [35:43] ranking number one as we can see right [35:45] here however this is only getting a few [35:47] views per hour and then these other two [35:50] videos that are ranking lower are [35:51] getting significantly more traffic I'm [35:53] talking 10x maybe even 50x to views per [35:57] hour no knowing that this is from Big [35:58] channels chances are that the views come [36:00] from recommendations making this not a [36:03] good keyword for us why because we [36:06] cannot be sure that the traffic isn't [36:08] coming from YouTube search as well as [36:09] that all of the ranking videos are from [36:12] very very big channels which have a lot [36:14] of authority they have great content so [36:16] it's going to be hard to compete with [36:17] them so how to start a digital marketing [36:19] agency is [40:01] 300,000 so safe to say the competition [40:03] on this keyword is insane there is very [40:06] big channels ranking for this topic [40:09] which is a very bad sign for us then [40:11] also looking at the video length of [40:13] these videos right here as well as the [40:14] thumbnails considering everything so far [40:17] this is definitely not going to be a [40:18] good keyword simply because the [40:21] competition is way too high and way too [40:23] good the traffic on this keyword was [40:25] inde perfect as these videos are get [40:27] getting 50 views per hour however we're actually important and they think [47:00] that you can get millions of views by [47:02] using the exact tags that you need which [47:04] honestly is not true so all I do myself [47:07] I go to a website called rabbit tags.io [47:10] I take the keyword that I want to rank [47:12] for which in this case is Shopify SEO [47:15] optimization I go to the tag generator I [47:18] search for this hit search and then as [47:20] you can see all of these tags show up I [47:22] simply copy them and then I paste them [47:25] right here and that is it I'm done now [47:27] sometimes I will check whether it says [47:29] 2022 and then I'll remove that at all or [47:31] I'll change it to 2023 but apart from [47:34] that just read through see if it makes [47:36] sense which in this case it does we've [47:38] got SEO on Shopify Shopify SEO tips [47:41] Shopify SEO tutorial the list goes on [47:43] and on so these are perfect tags now [47:45] YouTube even says it themselves tags can [47:47] be useful if content in your videos [47:49] commonly misspelled otherwise tags play [47:52] a minimal role in helping viewers find [47:54] your video so don't pay too much [47:55] attention just do what what I just did [47:57] with rapid [47:58] tags.io generator and that is it to be [48:01] honest we are now done and we have [48:03] completed the SEO for our video Let's [48:06] quickly sum up what we've done point one [48:08] we've included the exact keyword in our [48:10] title preferably at the beginning of [48:12] your title then we have used a few [48:14] related keywords as well as matching [48:16] terms in our description so that YouTube [48:18] knows what our video is about as well as [48:20] we can potentially rank for those [48:22] keywords then we've added a thumbnail [48:24] that is very easy to read as well as [48:25] tells the viewer exact ly what they're [48:27] looking for which in this case is [48:29] Shopify SEO optimization and then [48:31] finally we have added relevant tags for [48:33] our keyword using rapid tags.io now that [48:37] you know the fre step keyword research [48:38] process it is time to do this from start [48:40] till finish meaning step one two and [48:42] free all behind each other in one take [48:45] which is why now I would like to do live [48:47] keyword research with you so what I'm [48:49] going to do I'm going to set myself the [48:50] goal of finding a keyword I can rank for [48:53] with great traffic in search for my [48:56] personal channel right here and I want [48:58] you to do this with me when I'm [48:59] researching I want you to think as well [49:02] is this a good keyword if yes why so if [49:05] not why so let's get this going so [49:07] taking a look at my channel I mainly [49:09] cover faceless YouTube channel content [49:11] as well as creating content with AI [49:14] That's a topic that lately has been [49:15] doing very well for me so I'm going to [49:18] go to vid IQ and I want to find a [49:20] keyword I can rank for it that is [49:22] related to creating content with AI so [49:25] first of all my main keyword that I'm [49:27] going to search for is AI and then I'm [49:30] going to go to matching terms on vid IQ [49:33] then I'm simply going to scroll through [49:34] the results so AI tools that could be [49:37] something that I might potentially uh [49:39] look into that could have some great [49:41] topics but I also spot AI video [49:44] generator right here now already I've [49:47] got this video right there AI video [49:49] generators which is getting about 500 [49:51] views per day from YouTube search as of [49:53] right now as you can see 23 views per [49:56] hour which to be honest is pretty decent [49:59] so I actually go here and research this [50:01] topic a little bit more and from doing [50:05] so I find these keywords free AI video [50:08] generator AI video generator free so [50:11] it's interesting the first two results [50:13] the top results are about free AI video [50:16] generators which I have not looked into [50:19] nor have I made a video about that so [50:21] that could potentially be something that [50:22] I could make a video about also with the [50:25] fact in mind that this video is already [50:27] doing well on that keyword so what I'm [50:29] going to do is I'm going to take this [50:31] one free AI video generator and I'll [50:34] search for this on YouTube and then [50:35] we'll analyze the results I have a funny [50:37] feeling that this might actually be a [50:39] very very good keyword for my Channel [50:42] all right so first of all as always [50:44] let's open up the first three ranking [50:47] results I'll actually do a few more I'll [50:49] do the first four simply because this [50:51] keyword is quite interesting I'll [50:53] explain why in a bit then first of all [50:55] let's take a look at the views per hour [50:56] on on the ranking videos so this video [50:58] is ranking number one currently getting [51:00] 11 views per hour and as you can see [51:03] it's going up very very steadily it [51:05] doesn't get more linear than it does [51:07] right here ranking video number two 12.8 [51:09] views per hour if we go to views right [51:12] here you can see kind of died down [51:13] however this is from a channel Matt wolf [51:16] it's a personal Channel big channel so [51:18] the views right here could potentially [51:20] be from recommendations and that right [51:22] now it is just surf traffic that's kind [51:25] of what I think it is since the video is [51:26] still picking up traffic quite nicely [51:28] and very steadily then the thir result [51:31] is at 100 views per hour significantly [51:33] more than the other two however this is [51:36] from thing media so a pretty big Channel [51:38] as well although it is going up quite [51:40] steadily I still think that potentially [51:43] this video is getting pushed in the [51:44] YouTube algorithm on the homepage or [51:46] recommendations simply because this [51:48] channel is so big and it has a lot of [51:50] views within just 1 month also if we [51:52] take a look at the title very important [51:54] to always remember free video generator [51:57] that's not even what this video is you [51:59] can see this AI tool creates videos in [52:01] seconds this is not free AI video [52:05] generator which makes this unrelevant to [52:07] include in our research process however [52:10] this one right there free AI video [52:12] generator doesn't need include our [52:15] keyword phrase and if we take a look at [52:16] this almost nine views per hour also [52:19] going up quite steadily plus this is a [52:22] small Channel which is good to see which [52:24] brings us first of all to step number [52:26] two let's take take a look how many [52:27] people actually use the keyword as their [52:29] title which is uh free AI video [52:32] generator so there's 20 results which is [52:34] quite big so the first video doesn't [52:36] need have the exact keyword same goes [52:38] for the second video third video doesn't [52:41] fourth video has it and then from there [52:43] on a few people have it now this one [52:46] right there is also performing very very [52:48] well so I'll just open it up quickly as [52:50] well just to take a look at that let's [52:52] see how many views per hour this is [52:54] still getting so this is at almost 100 [52:56] views per hour which is massive as well [52:58] which is actually quite crazy so we can [53:01] see that this is very steadily as well [53:04] might still be traffic from [53:06] recommendations as I don't think there's [53:08] 400,000 people searching for this in [53:11] Just 2 months however it shows that the [53:13] topic is really sought after a lot of [53:16] people like watching a video about the [53:18] free AI video generators then [53:20] considering that quite a few people have [53:22] this exact keyword phrase as their title [53:25] it's not the best sign [53:26] however if we then take a look at the [53:28] channel size the number one ranking [53:30] video has only 20,000 subscribers I have [53:34] 80,000 plus subscribers so I'm four [53:36] times bigger than that channel I am much [53:39] smaller than the channel is ranking [53:41] second I'm also much smaller than the [53:43] video ranking F however this is not [53:45] relevant as it's not really the exact [53:47] keyword I'm much bigger than this one [53:50] right here so the fact that a small [53:52] channel here anit was able to get good [53:55] views and rank Prett pretty high on that [53:57] video shows me that this is indeed quite [54:00] a decent keyword you can see he's [54:02] getting nine views per hour which to be [54:04] honest for his channel that is already [54:06] very good however I do think that with [54:08] my channel and the quality of content [54:10] that I'm making I should be able to [54:12] outrank definitely these videos right [54:15] here as this one is not relevant this [54:17] one is but much smaller Channel and [54:19] potentially even these two results right [54:21] here making free AI video generator a [54:24] very very good keyword for me to make a [54:26] video about having found our keyword [54:28] let's now take a look at how to do the [54:29] SEO for this video to make sure it ranks [54:32] so our video keyword is free AI video [54:36] generator so that's the keyword that we [54:37] need to include in our title so that [54:40] when people search for this our video [54:42] will show up so first of all that needs [54:44] to be in the title so let's start off by [54:46] pasting that right here now our next [54:49] step is to make sure that this becomes a [54:51] clickable title because on my main [54:54] Channel I also have subscribers that [54:56] want to watch the videos which is why [54:58] for this video right here I didn't just [54:59] call it AI video generators tutorial or [55:02] something like that I wanted to make it [55:05] a very clickable title so I went with I [55:07] tried five AI video generators to create [55:10] faceless YouTube videos so this right [55:13] there was the main keyword I was trying [55:15] to rank for which succeeded it's now [55:18] getting about 20 views per hour but I [55:20] also included another keyword create [55:22] faceless YouTube videos as well as I [55:24] made it an interesting title by saying I [55:26] tried knowing that this already worked [55:28] for me I'm going to do the exact same [55:30] thing here so I'm going to make this one [55:32] I tried free free is going to be all [55:34] caps lock CU I want to put the emphasis [55:37] there AI video generators now what I can [55:39] do next is for example hit two dots and [55:41] I can say this is what happened or just [55:45] this happened for example and that's a [55:47] pretty interesting title however to be [55:49] honest I like to keep it searchable [55:51] content so I'm going to go with I tried [55:54] free AI video generators [55:56] and then I want to insert another [55:58] keyword after that so potentially I can [56:00] just do the exact same thing and then [56:02] put to create faceless YouTube videos I [56:05] know for a fact that that is indeed [56:06] going to work out very well so this [56:08] could be the title that I go with [56:10] however for example I also know that [56:12] YouTube shorts is quite an engaging [56:15] topic and a lot of people search for [56:16] this so for example I can also search [56:19] for YouTube shorts and try and figure [56:21] out what people search for there to [56:23] include that into our keyword for [56:25] example faceless YouTube shorts and [56:28] there we go we now have a very engaging [56:30] clickable title with our keyword which [56:33] is free AI video generator as well as [56:35] another keyword create faceless YouTube [56:37] shorts that right there is going to [56:40] perform insanely well on my channel so [56:42] we're going to take this title we're [56:44] going to first of all copy it and put it [56:46] at the top of the description and then [56:47] now I want to include matching terms and [56:50] related keywords in our description [56:53] first of all say in this [56:55] video I will show you and then right [56:58] there that gives me the first [56:59] opportunity to put a related keyword for [57:02] our main keyword which is free AI video [57:04] generator so I'll go back to vid IQ I'll [57:07] search for this and then I'll go to [57:08] related
