[0:00] hey what's up guys welcome back today [0:01] we're going to be talking about tside [0:03] Mirage so to kick things off I'm going [0:05] to Yap here a little bit basically I [0:07] just want to talk about what I like to [0:09] do if I solo CU on any map it doesn't [0:12] matter if it's Mirage Anubis dust who [0:14] Whatever It Is My Philosophy is I want [0:17] an entry and that's really what I try to [0:20] focus on is finding a sequence finding a [0:23] pattern where like a routine that I'm [0:24] comfortable with that I'm [0:25] self-sufficient in to ideally find a [0:29] pick set my team up for a 5v4 call me [0:31] crazy but there is definitely a [0:32] psychological part of it where if your [0:34] teammates see you go get a pick I feel [0:36] like Things fall into place a lot of [0:38] times and more often than not you win [0:39] the round by just getting that singular [0:41] kill in living first thing is kind of [0:43] realizing what spawns you have and we'll [0:45] just talk about the ideas of the spawns [0:47] and give you like little very generic [0:49] things that you can do and my philosophy [0:52] and how i' approach certain spawn [0:54] situations whatever this is spawn one on [0:57] Mirage you're really close to a this is [0:59] kind of I'm talking about is recognizing [1:01] like hey I got a really good spawn for a [1:03] I know that this a guy or this connector [1:05] player is crossed every single round so [1:07] maybe on a single round you can either [1:10] one do it by yourself depending on what [1:12] rank you're at or two just ask don't be [1:15] afraid if somebody is a prick to you [1:17] that's on them but you should ask like [1:20] hey can you just flash over a for me and [1:21] call it and you can try to challenge a [1:23] guy Crossing connector and this is a [1:24] pretty safe pick because you have the [1:26] best spawn one two you know what this [1:29] spawn that nobody's going to be coming [1:31] from Jungle quite yet and the only [1:33] position they can be in to Peak you is [1:35] directly in front of you and as long as [1:36] you don't go too far out you're not even [1:38] going to expose yourself to the player [1:40] that's in a sight or you might get [1:41] really lucky and you're actually finding [1:43] the a sight player while his teammate's [1:44] coming through jungle and this is going [1:45] to be a sequence of events that you got [1:47] to think about with every spawn every [1:49] position everything you're going for I'm [1:51] using this as an example to hopefully [1:53] help you understand of little things [1:55] that you can do to give yourself a [1:57] massive Advantage so yeah when you have [1:58] the good spawn ask teammate to throw a [2:00] flash or if you don't have a teammate [2:03] this still is a very good duel to go for [2:05] this isn't like a troll or grief now if [2:07] they're intelligent and watch my [2:09] incredible Mirage video they might have [2:10] a Molly and if they got a Molly that's [2:13] where you get a little bit more advanced [2:14] you get used to throwing a smoke on top [2:16] of their Molotov when you come out the [2:18] ramp and your teammate throws a flash [2:19] for you and same concept you're still [2:21] isolating that duel on a timing and with [2:24] your teammate's flash you would be [2:25] really setting yourself up for a lot of [2:27] success to get a pick now every spawn [2:30] that you get on Mirage is not going to [2:32] be necessarily something similar to that [2:34] Aram spawn you don't always need to just [2:35] like run it down at people I'm going to [2:37] go through a couple basic pieces of [2:39] utility for the tside just to show you [2:41] ways that you can maneuver get some [2:42] space and hopefully set yourself up for [2:44] a pick so starting with the most [2:46] important a lot of people will tell you [2:47] it's the window smoke it really is not [2:50] the most important smoke especially when [2:51] you're like solo cued is the top midm [2:54] smoke and to do the top midm smoke you [2:55] just come to the side of this Barrel [2:57] right here or trash can rather and you [2:58] just aim at the top of this antenna no [3:00] jump throw nothing fancy you just left [3:02] click and let it go what this smoke does [3:04] is allows you to come out mid pretty [3:05] safely from window it also protects you [3:07] from anybody that makes a cat jump also [3:10] a little fun fact that a lot of people [3:12] don't realize is if you're playing some [3:13] people that actually know how to shoot [3:15] back if they Molly behind the box you [3:17] can use the edge of the smoke to look [3:19] for fights in front of the window so [3:20] you're probably wondering why I'm [3:22] telling you about a top mid smoke when I [3:23] just told you you got to go get entries [3:25] because this is going to leave you in [3:26] spawn reason you need this is one it's [3:28] going to protect your stupid teammate [3:29] that's trying to run out top mid and die [3:31] instantly and two utility is important [3:33] you got to be able to throw a little bit [3:34] and do some basic things to be able to [3:35] get into key positions throwing this top [3:37] mid smokes is going to allow you to get [3:38] out mid if somebody else does a smoke [3:40] great use it go behind the box and you [3:42] can also smoke behind window so in a [3:44] perfect world where you have teammates [3:46] that know how to smoke top mid or maybe [3:47] you're smoking top mid or maybe you're [3:49] smoking window if you can get two of [3:50] these smokes this is great in general [3:52] coming out mid aing at the top of this [3:54] line is a great way to Molly connector [3:56] that way you can isolate your duels come [3:59] out top mid with the smoke and a great [4:01] way to path early is especially with [4:03] this window smoke up is on this head [4:05] shot angle right here anybody that [4:07] decided to go ladder with an op and [4:08] thought they were really funny you're [4:09] going to have a really nice angle and [4:11] headshot angle to fight any oper that [4:13] goes in the ladder and in general if [4:15] somebody decides to get a little crazy [4:16] and swing off cat on you it's a good [4:18] position to be in you just got to worry [4:19] about getting flashed the places that [4:21] you're most likely to get picks on [4:23] Mirage are going to be in mid if you're [4:25] playing solo and if you're able to kind [4:27] of coordinate or Wrangle up you know [4:29] your your cats get them in mid create a [4:31] little bit of space get in this bottom [4:33] mid area and start looking for pix [4:35] window or cat if you can ideally if you [4:38] can take connector in most of your games [4:41] especially while you're still learning [4:42] the game connector is going to be so [4:44] important because one a lot of people [4:46] like to hang out in connector entirely [4:48] way too long and two once you get [4:50] connector and you kill that guy or you [4:52] take the space for it the amount of [4:53] options you have on this map even if you [4:55] don't find a kill is incredible you have [4:58] the ability to go up con and split a you [5:00] have the option to maybe potentially [5:02] challenge the guy on catwalk if you [5:04] force them out of connector they don't [5:05] really have good support and you might [5:07] even have a longer rotation to b or [5:09] towards a it's a really good position to [5:11] get control of if you had to focus on [5:13] getting one area of the map it would [5:15] always be connector over ladder but [5:17] ladder is still really nice too the area [5:19] is really powerful to hold the jungle [5:20] area which is what CTS rely on to fight [5:23] that connector player and two you can [5:25] really be a rat in here and just find [5:27] some great timings to take some fights [5:28] into B now let's go talk about B here [5:31] real quick similar to the a spawn that I [5:33] was talking about earlier where you [5:34] could really just take that spawn maybe [5:36] go out ramp and look for that isolated [5:37] pick on the player Crossing connector [5:39] you can also go B and when going B one [5:43] of the strongest things you can do [5:45] especially if you're by yourself is just [5:47] listen just listen hang out mind your [5:49] own business try your best to avoid [5:51] anybody throwing a Molly here maybe they [5:53] toss it deep early you don't want to get [5:55] touched by that maybe they throw a nade [5:57] you don't want to just be really sneaky [5:59] you you don't want to be Singin in the [6:00] Mal you don't want really anybody to [6:02] know you're up here you're just hanging [6:03] out to be a rat listen listen listen [6:06] listen you hear that guy run up catwalk [6:08] guess what you got a 1 V one now now [6:11] it's a little bit of a hide-and-seek [6:12] game but once you get comfortable on how [6:15] you like to work the area I'm telling [6:16] you right now a player that goes up or B [6:18] and knows how to work this area is a [6:21] menace even at the highest level you'll [6:23] see players do this all the time where [6:24] if they just create pressure up here it [6:26] pulls that c player back maybe your [6:28] teammate will finally do something and [6:29] get a pick in mid because you're drawing [6:31] the cat player back initially start the [6:33] round be quiet you are a rat listen to [6:36] the player when he runs up catwalk like [6:38] so when you hear that player commit off [6:41] cat that's basically you know it's on [6:43] you know you get you get to do whatever [6:44] you want you have a one V one versus guy [6:46] more than likely he's not crutching it [6:48] up if he is that's where you just call [6:50] him a noob because he brought it up and [6:52] then you move on with your day you know [6:54] maybe you want to be less sneaky about [6:57] it and you want to Molly out van and [6:58] look for this player running out of Van [7:00] you'll find you'll get players like this [7:02] all the time where they just kind of [7:03] panic they just instantly fall back to [7:05] bench like this and they just cross [7:07] right into you you'd be very surprised [7:09] at how many players just give up a kill [7:11] like that because everybody just thinks [7:12] you're supposed to jump spot B and they [7:14] do the guys never played there before [7:16] you threw One Singular Molly at him he's [7:17] like oh my God it's be I finally saw [7:19] someone he panics and he runs out and [7:21] kills him maybe you like the more [7:22] stealth approach maybe you like to get a [7:24] little bit closer and he makes a misstep [7:26] where he's just jump spotting and you [7:27] want to try to time his jump spot maybe [7:29] you know he's jump spotting you want to [7:30] bounce the Nate off this to slow him [7:32] down break his hearing so he can't hear [7:34] you run him down and you just get to [7:36] kill him take the bomb site and now you [7:37] get a 1 V one versus teammate cat or you [7:39] could be even more annoying and just [7:41] hide and then that way they have to know [7:42] you're and be the entire round you're [7:44] just doing a lot to create a lot of [7:46] chaos these little things are like what [7:48] you should be doing in all your [7:49] positions this video is less about like [7:52] you know do this one simple trick and [7:54] you're going to be so sick it's more [7:56] about the mindset of what you should be [7:58] looking for you know perfect world this [8:00] is what's going on but in most of your [8:01] games this isn't what's going on so you [8:03] got to figure out how to make the most [8:04] out of your situations maybe you're a [8:07] more patient player and by more patient [8:08] I mean you're just a biter and that's [8:10] okay because if you're a biter and you [8:11] still find ways to get picks based off [8:13] of what your teammates need and what you [8:15] can provide you know that's great too [8:17] players that come into a palace and you [8:19] wait for your teammates to go out mid [8:21] maybe create an absolute round of Chaos [8:24] in middle and it's just a brawl you can [8:25] try to find your timing for this guy on [8:27] the a site and he thinks he's the hide [8:29] and seat Champion but really you're the [8:30] number one and you just kill him and [8:32] you're going to be surprised at how much [8:33] more success you have in these games [8:36] when you're thinking this way when [8:37] you're attacking rounds in this way and [8:39] you're just kind of always looking for [8:41] that slight Edge and moment where you [8:43] can capitalize and create a 5v4 for your [8:46] team so to wrap this up though I will [8:47] show you guys like if you do got a five [8:49] stack or just in general something that [8:51] like you want to like understand a [8:53] philosophy of at least how I would [8:55] approach most Mirage pugs and what I [8:56] would come to expect you want to have [8:58] three players going going towards mid [9:00] one player towards like upper B maybe [9:02] handling underpass that can fluctuate a [9:04] little bit based on the game and then [9:06] one person always being a menace towards [9:08] a that's how I would break it down and [9:10] what I would think just some standard [9:12] things you can do is just always smoking [9:13] top mid always smoking window if you [9:16] watch that Austin CS guy my teammate [9:18] he's going to have a bunch of instant [9:20] lineups Molly connector getting mid [9:23] control early with like three players [9:25] and then allowing these two other [9:26] players on the edges of the map to [9:28] isolate look for DS and find opportunity [9:31] to get picks once you get out top mid [9:33] what do you do next if you're in a five [9:35] stack get that connector control baby [9:37] smoke top con maybe remoke window that's [9:41] a thing that everybody sucks at just [9:43] remoke the window so you have more time [9:45] to move around in mid without getting [9:47] shot from three different places maybe [9:49] you want to split cat that round maybe [9:50] you want to split con maybe you got some [9:52] picks early in mid and you just [9:54] regrouped at a you know you did [9:56] something really simple or maybe you [9:57] regrouped at B cuz you killed the C [9:59] player and you know everybody's stuck [10:02] these are very basic things that you can [10:05] pretty much apply to most of your games [10:07] and if you're not playing with a group [10:08] of friends and you got some people that [10:09] are just you found a good stack of [10:11] players and they're sweating I would [10:12] hope that they're having a similar [10:14] mindset and this is how they're kind of [10:15] attacking and planning the rounds as [10:17] well so this is the first tside video [10:19] we've done kind of of this little series [10:20] that we don't really have a name for [10:21] that we just kind of keep rolling with [10:23] please don't forget to like the video [10:24] don't forget to subscribe appreciate all [10:26] of you guys watching these videos that's [10:27] the most important thing and let us know [10:29] in the comments below what you guys want [10:31] to see next
