[00:00] Cash Hours is an app that claims it can turn your&nbsp; daily screen time into real money. So, the idea is&nbsp;&nbsp; simple. You just keep the app running. It tracks&nbsp; your time and you earn passively. They even say&nbsp;&nbsp; that you can cash out every 3 hours. I decided&nbsp; to try it myself and see how it actually works.&nbsp;&nbsp;
[00:17] And in this video, I'll show you exactly what I&nbsp; found, what my results look like, and whether it&nbsp;&nbsp; is worth your time or not. So, let's jump straight&nbsp; into it and start by going over who can join. And&nbsp;&nbsp;
[00:29] Cash Hours track screen time is the full name. It&nbsp; is an Android app, so it's only available if you&nbsp;&nbsp; have an Android phone. From what I can see,&nbsp; it is available in basically all countries,&nbsp;&nbsp;
[00:41] but please before you download it, then listen to&nbsp; everything I have to say here so you know exactly&nbsp;&nbsp; what to expect. What I found interesting about it&nbsp; when I first came across it is that it says that&nbsp;&nbsp; you can turn your phone screen time into real&nbsp; withdrawable cash and it is 100% free. No in-app&nbsp;&nbsp;
[00:57] purchases, no gimmicks. But I have tested earning&nbsp; methods for more than 10 years. So I also know&nbsp;&nbsp; that you shouldn't always just believe what an&nbsp; app or website says itself. So I decided to test&nbsp;&nbsp; it. So let me now log in and then we'll take a&nbsp; closer look at what it really offers. So I am&nbsp;&nbsp;
[01:14] now logged in and the first thing I noticed when&nbsp; I first joined is that I didn't actually have to&nbsp;&nbsp; create an account to start using it and start&nbsp; earning. So that's always a little bit strange&nbsp;&nbsp; and that also means that if you accidentally&nbsp; delete it, want to use it on another phone,&nbsp;&nbsp;
[01:27] you can't really use the same account. So that's&nbsp; just something to keep in mind. But also what I&nbsp;&nbsp; noticed is that there are many ads. It claims is&nbsp; that you can track the screen time and that's how&nbsp;&nbsp; you earn. And you can see there is a counter here.&nbsp; So that's how you earn if you let it just be open&nbsp;&nbsp;
[01:43] here or you can allow it to track other apps. I&nbsp; will explain later why I have chosen not to allow&nbsp;&nbsp; it to track any other apps. But that's how you&nbsp; can earn by tracking your screen time and that's&nbsp;&nbsp; then when you see this will just be convertible&nbsp; and it will go up to value in US dollars up here&nbsp;&nbsp;
[02:01] every 3 hours. We'll talk about the whole&nbsp; conversion system and that a little bit later. But&nbsp;&nbsp; in addition to that, there are other ways to earn.&nbsp; But all of them is actually just about getting you&nbsp;&nbsp; to watch ads. Sometimes also randomly, you know,&nbsp; it pops up here. You can also see there's these&nbsp;&nbsp;
[02:15] bubbles here. They want you to watch an ad and&nbsp; then you can earn extra. So it doesn't really&nbsp;&nbsp; matter which one I show. All of them I kind of&nbsp; just gimmicks. They say on the page I showed you&nbsp;&nbsp; no gimmicks. In my opinion, it is a gimmick here&nbsp; because for example, this game here is not as&nbsp;&nbsp;
[02:28] a game. It's it's all about getting you to watch&nbsp; ads. You know, it's fair enough. They need to make&nbsp;&nbsp; money. That's how they can afford to potentially&nbsp; pay us. So, you know, that's fine. But, you know,&nbsp;&nbsp; just say it as it is. But here you can see then&nbsp; I can claim 100% here and then I have to watch&nbsp;&nbsp;
[02:43] an ad or you say I can just claim 60%. So, I&nbsp; just claimed 60% but as you can see I sometimes&nbsp;&nbsp; still have to watch an ad. Not always when you&nbsp; choose this only 60% but sometimes. So, for me&nbsp;&nbsp; that's just lack of transparency. If you say that&nbsp; okay you have to watch an ad to get 100% but then&nbsp;&nbsp;
[02:59] you click 60% then I still have to watch an ad.&nbsp; You know that's lack of transparency something I&nbsp;&nbsp; really dislike. But anyways that's how it works as&nbsp; mentioned. Not always you have to when you click&nbsp;&nbsp; this 60% but in general they really push these&nbsp; ads onto you. So that's just how it is. Now it&nbsp;&nbsp;
[03:14] is done. I can close it. You can see the earnings&nbsp; are added there. I can continue. I can play&nbsp;&nbsp; again if I want to. And when I first joined I&nbsp; got a little bit more. It felt like now I get&nbsp;&nbsp; less value. Then now again I can claim only 60%.&nbsp; This time here you can see I didn't get an ad. If&nbsp;&nbsp;
[03:30] I chose 100% I would have gotten an ad but then&nbsp; I would also got more earnings but still don't&nbsp;&nbsp; really know the points are added here and you need&nbsp; to collect these points here also so they go up&nbsp;&nbsp; there. You can see up here the points are added&nbsp; whenever I earn there and then this bar here fills&nbsp;&nbsp;
[03:46] very slowly, in my opinion especially&nbsp; after you've used it for some time. But all of&nbsp;&nbsp; these other method no need to really show them&nbsp; because the games are not really games. It's just&nbsp;&nbsp; something that scrolls around, gives you a random&nbsp; number of points, and then wants you to watch ads.&nbsp;&nbsp;
[04:00] So, that's basically how you earn here. I wouldn't&nbsp; say so much. It's about tracking your screen time,&nbsp;&nbsp; as they claim. It's basically get you to watch&nbsp; ads. That's mainly what it's about. But that&nbsp;&nbsp; can of course also be fine if it just pays well.&nbsp; So, let's talk a little bit more about that.&nbsp;&nbsp;
[04:20] So I have now jumped to the cash out section&nbsp; and it converts the earnings. Let's just go&nbsp;&nbsp; over that first here. Every 3 hours whatever you&nbsp; have earned up here it converts into US dollars&nbsp;&nbsp;
[04:32] and that's what you can then see in your account&nbsp; and that's what you can cash out. But there is&nbsp;&nbsp; no exact conversion ratio and I really dislike&nbsp; when an app is not transparent about that because&nbsp;&nbsp; I can see like okay now I earn like 100 points or&nbsp; 150 points or 70 points whatever it is but I have&nbsp;&nbsp;
[04:46] no idea what the value will be. I I never like&nbsp; think that is actually fair, but what I can say&nbsp;&nbsp; is that for example, I earned 4,280 points before&nbsp; it converted the first time. I spent around 30&nbsp;&nbsp;
[05:00] minutes doing that and I watched a lot of ads. I&nbsp; even tried to click in here on the email there to&nbsp;&nbsp; contact the support and even their ads popped up.&nbsp; I watched a lot of ads there and then it converted&nbsp;&nbsp;
[05:12] after 3 hours and it was 4 cents. So it took me&nbsp; half an hour to earn 4 cents. So that's just to&nbsp;&nbsp; give you a little bit of an idea of my results. It&nbsp; might be different for you, but in all cases not&nbsp;&nbsp;
[05:24] be great earnings as you can hear, but it does&nbsp; have a low payout threshold. You can see here&nbsp;&nbsp; you can cash out. You just need to earn 5 cents.&nbsp; So definitely a low payout threshold. But there&nbsp;&nbsp; is a reason that I have decided not to even try&nbsp; to reach that 5 cents and cash out. So, let me&nbsp;&nbsp;
[05:42] just jump to the main Google Play page there and&nbsp; then we'll talk a little bit more about that.&nbsp;&nbsp; So, you can't see it here on a computer, but if&nbsp; you go to the Google Play Store and find it on&nbsp;&nbsp;
[05:54] your phone, it will say it is in early access. For&nbsp; me, it's always a huge red flag when an earning&nbsp;&nbsp; app is in early access because when it's in early&nbsp; access, people cannot leave reviews. And I have&nbsp;&nbsp; tested hundreds of apps and websites and basically&nbsp; all apps that are earning apps that I have come&nbsp;&nbsp;
[06:11] across that are in early access have actually&nbsp; done it because they are not paying people&nbsp;&nbsp; and they don't want people to leave negative&nbsp; review. But that's for me is a huge red flag&nbsp;&nbsp; when it's in early access. There's no need to&nbsp; be in early access as an earning app. However,&nbsp;&nbsp;
[06:24] I would say that very low rewards and the&nbsp; earning methods are realistic. So that's&nbsp;&nbsp; what's a little bit confusing here because that it&nbsp; is an early access. That's a classic red flag. But&nbsp;&nbsp; the low rewards, usually an app that are not&nbsp; intended to pay, you will actually just promise&nbsp;&nbsp;
[06:39] for the same work that I did here that I would&nbsp; have earned a few hundred. Uh then you just&nbsp;&nbsp; clearly know it's a scam here. It's actually&nbsp; realistic rewards, realistic earning methods.&nbsp;&nbsp; But the thing is just I am just not going to&nbsp; connect my PayPal because then you would have to&nbsp;&nbsp;
[06:55] log in with your PayPal usually through an app&nbsp; like this and and share all these different&nbsp;&nbsp; things. I'm not going to do that with an app that&nbsp; is in early access and I'm not going to allow it&nbsp;&nbsp; to track what else I do on my phone. For example,&nbsp; how I use other apps on my phone. In fact, I have&nbsp;&nbsp;
[07:10] installed it on a spare phone I have. I didn't&nbsp; want to have it on my main phone also because I&nbsp;&nbsp; just don't trust an app that is in early&nbsp; access. So, I'm not saying that you cannot&nbsp;&nbsp; get paid. I'm just saying based on my years of&nbsp; experience and having tested it. First of all,&nbsp;&nbsp;
[07:24] extremely low earning potential. I earned around&nbsp; 4 cents for half an hour. Definitely not worth&nbsp;&nbsp; it. There are many other free ways to make money&nbsp; online where you can earn a lot more. And at the&nbsp;&nbsp; same time also I don't like that there's some lack&nbsp; of transparency with some of the things. I don't&nbsp;&nbsp;
[07:39] like that you can't see an exact conversion ratio&nbsp; so you know exactly what you earn. An earning app&nbsp;&nbsp; and website should always be transparent about&nbsp; that. If not, I don't want to support. I don't&nbsp;&nbsp; want to use it. And then when you add to that that&nbsp; it's an early access for me. That just means that&nbsp;&nbsp;
[07:52] that's just one way. I'm not going to connect my&nbsp; PayPal. I'm not going to use it. It's not one that&nbsp;&nbsp; to hear your experiences also. This is just my&nbsp; opinion and why I'm not using it because people&nbsp;&nbsp;
[08:05] have asked about it. So, based on my testing,&nbsp; these are my decisions, but you are free to make&nbsp;&nbsp; your own, of course, but now I'm just sharing you&nbsp; my experiences based on years of testing different&nbsp;&nbsp; ways and then you can make your own decision.
