[00:00] As you roam across Hyrule Field in the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, you may have come across a large Poe. But did you know they actually serve a purpose? You'll have to hunt down these big Poes and sell them to the Go Shop in order to obtain a bottle.
[00:15] This is easily the most complex bottle to obtain in the game. But worry not, because in this quick video guide, we'll show you exactly where to find all ten big Poes across Hyrule Field.
[00:30] In order to take out these foes, there are a few prerequisites. Firstly, you can only find these foes in the adult era. You'll need the fairy bow, obtained from the forest temple, to be able to take them out.
[00:43] Each foe takes two arrows to kill, but that's if you don't miss, of course. And while not required, we'd strongly recommend rescuing the poener from Maumau Ranch, as it's much easier to chase these fast-moving foes while on horseback.
[00:57] Additionally, while not a prerequisite, I would strongly recommend having all three of the bottles first, as each defeated Poe will need to be stored in one to be sold at the Ghost Shop. If you're playing on the Nintendo Switch Online Classic set, you can make a safe state before encountering each Poe,
[01:12] and if you're playing on the Switch 2, you can either use the rewind feature, which should help speed up the process if you accidentally let the Poe despawn. With those out of the way here is the map of where to encounter all ten Poes across Hyrule Field There isn a particular order that you need to do these in but to make things simple we run
[01:32] through these going clockwise from the entrance to Hyrule Castle Town, looping around the whole field. Starting from the entrance to Hyrule Castle Town, follow the path straight south towards Long Long Ranch, and your first big Poe will appear ahead of you along the
[01:47] path. Once you defeat it, make sure to store it in your bottle before moving on to the next one. The next big po is found near the staircase up to Kakariko Village, head a bit
[02:17] pass the stairs and the tree, towards the water. Once near the water, turn around and head back towards the stairs, and the Po should spawn ahead of you. You can't for not to accidentally chase it into the wall, or it will quickly despawn. The next big Po is a bit south of the
[02:34] first one. To the southeast is a long stone wall along a small cliff. Hug the inner corner of the wall, and the Po will spawn. It's likely to move across the wall to put some distance between you and itself, so fire your arrows carefully.
[02:51] The next big pole is further south where the dirt path forks into multiple directions near a rock Approach from the northeast path and cut the corner between the path and the rock The poe should then spawn, heading towards the gap in the upcoming fence.
[03:10] The next big poe is found at the southern end of the southeast path. Step off the path to the left, and run through the nearby bushes to make the poe spawn, which then heads towards the trees. The next one is pretty close by in the southeast corner of the
[03:33] map. While weaving through these trees, run through this bush next to the lone rock, and the Po spawns out of a bush just ahead. Make sure to take it out before it gets too close to the nearby wall, or it'll despawn. The next bigpo is found near the entrance to Gerudo Valley. This one can be a bit
[03:51] tricky, as there are many walls for it to immediately move into and quickly despawn. I found my most successful attempt was when approaching from the north, down the path. Stick to the path, riding south, past the branch leading into Gerudo Valley, and the
[04:04] post spawns along the path, giving more time to strike it before it leads into a wall. The next big po is slightly north of the entrance to Gerudo Valley. In the brush nearby run through the bush right next to the tree on the left and the Po will spawn heading up the hill
[04:29] The next big Po is in the northwest corner of the map by the stream of water. Run through this specific bush, two away from the water, and the Po will spawn out of the bush closest to the water before proceeding to float across it. Since it quickly gets distance away
[04:43] away from you, make sure to fire your arrows carefully. The next bigpo, and the last one if we're closing out this clockwise loop from the entrance to Hyrule Castle, is just outside of Wollong Ranch.
[04:56] Approach on the west, and pass in between the wall and this lone tree to make its farm.
[05:09] As you collect big Poes, bring them to the Go Shop in Hyrule Castle Town and sell them. When you sell your tenth and final Poe, the Poe Collector will reward you with a bottle. And there you have it, a detailed guide on catching all ten big Poes across Hyrule Fields
