[0:08] going to show you the easiest ways to do

[0:13] today i want to share some tips that i
[0:15] have learned over the year of becoming a
[0:17] v tuber now that we are in the year 2022
[0:21] vtubing is starting to become a legit
[0:23] way to make content and i noticed a lot
[0:25] of people are struggling on their
[0:27] vtuping journey because they don't know
[0:29] where to begin or how to improve so what
[0:32] are some things that you can do to set
[0:34] yourself up for success before and after
[0:36] you debate your model well let's go over
[0:38] your concept design real quick what
[0:40] makes a good character design and
[0:42] concept it doesn't matter if your model
[0:44] is 2d or 3d because the concept is
[0:47] what's important to success the key to
[0:49] good character design is creating a
[0:51] character that your audience can connect
[0:53] with it needs to be eye-catching and
[0:55] memorable this is why i disagree with
[0:57] youtubers who say you need a pretty
[0:59] model to be successful because an artist
[1:01] cannot rely on a good character design
[1:03] if the personality and backstory of the
[1:05] character is bland or hard to resonate
[1:07] with so ask yourself this what about you
[1:10] and your character design makes you
[1:12] stand out i have more videos about this
[1:14] topic where i go more in depth about
[1:15] character design and be tubing so make
[1:17] sure you check those out if you haven't
[1:18] okay so now that you have a general idea
[1:21] about your concept let's go over
[1:22] preparing your debut you're probably
[1:24] wondering if it's a good idea for you to
[1:26] debut or not and it totally is it can be
[1:28] a great way to hype up your v super
[1:30] avatar and get people excited to see
[1:31] your streams you know you're so lucky if
[1:34] you're starting to become a youtuber
[1:35] right now because there are so many
[1:37] tutorials on youtubing compared to when
[1:39] i started back in october in 2020 i
[1:42] didn't have a debut from my youtuber at
[1:44] first because it wasn't something you
[1:45] did back then unless you were a
[1:47] corporate youtuber but now debuts are
[1:49] becoming much more widely accepted for
[1:51] indie youtubers to advertise their model
[1:53] so what should you do to prepare for
[1:55] your debut okay first you should make
[1:57] some social media accounts on different
[1:58] platforms that you want to promote your
[2:00] upcoming debut on twitter is a great
[2:02] place to start because a lot of
[2:04] youtubers use it to talk with each other
[2:06] you can make a model reveal post to get
[2:08] engagement or a short video showcasing
[2:10] your upcoming debut you can also join
[2:12] the virtual youtubers subreddit and make
[2:14] post on there introducing yourself as
[2:16] well as doing little teases showing
[2:18] sneak peeks of your model if you're
[2:20] struggling to figure out what to post
[2:22] then take a look at other youtubers on
[2:23] the platform and see what they're
[2:25] posting then try to make your own unique
[2:27] version of their posts something that's
[2:30] good about twitter is that random trends
[2:32] happen all the time and it's a great way
[2:34] to showcase your model honestly social
[2:36] media is a great way to connecting with
[2:38] other people in the youtubing community
[2:39] and i don't just mean connecting with
[2:41] other vtubers a lot of youtuber fans use
[2:44] social media to talk and discuss about
[2:47] their favorite youtuber it actually
[2:48] makes me so happy seeing people online
[2:51] talk about my design and my lore so you
[2:53] definitely want to make sure you're
[2:54] posting on social media and talking to
[2:56] others you know socialized okay but you
[2:59] don't need to spend all day on social
[3:01] media because the most important thing
[3:03] you should be focusing on is making
[3:04] content before you debut but you could
[3:06] take between 10 minutes to an hour a day
[3:08] on social media to either talk to people
[3:10] share their content reply to their post
[3:12] and do some research to get inspired for
[3:14] your own content sometimes when i'm
[3:16] struggling on what to post i'll go on
[3:19] twitter and look at what other youtubers
[3:20] are talking about and sometimes that
[3:22] will inspire me to make a youtube video
[3:24] like this one here you can also join
[3:26] different discord communities and
[3:27] subreddits that interest you but make
[3:29] sure you are joining these communities
[3:31] with good intentions because people seem
[3:33] to get confused with the word networking
[3:35] any good business knows how to build
[3:37] meaningful relationships so don't join a
[3:40] random discord or separate community
[3:41] with the sole purpose of advertising
[3:43] yourself baca take the time to get to
[3:46] know other people in the community and
[3:48] maybe make some friends along the way
[3:49] look being a streamer can get pretty
[3:51] lonely so you should be joining these
[3:53] communities to build friendships not a
[3:55] following okay i ranted on enough about
[3:58] social media and you get it so you've
[4:00] made your own social media profiles but
[4:01] let's say you're completely new to
[4:03] youtubing well first you should probably
[4:05] do some research about the community
[4:07] before actively posting i constantly get
[4:10] people in my chat who want to become a
[4:12] youtuber and then when they ask me for
[4:13] advice i tell them to go watch some
[4:15] hololive youtubers and then they have no
[4:17] idea who hololive is even if you aren't
[4:21] a fan of corporate youtubers you should
[4:23] watch some of their content and
[4:24] understand certain aspects on why they
[4:27] are so popular in the community because
[4:29] these corporate v tubers are the reason
[4:31] why v tubing is so popular here you can
[4:34] get a lot of inspiration from seeing
[4:37] what other youtubers did for their debut
[4:39] and what kind of content they made after
[4:42] their debut okay so now you've been
[4:44] advertising and connecting with others
[4:46] and hyping up your debut good job now
[4:48] it's time to actually debut your model
[4:51] when you go live for your debut you
[4:53] should have something prepared to
[4:54] showcase your model on stream and i
[4:56] don't mean just showing your model this
[4:58] is because it's really important to plan
[5:01] this day out because it's your special
[5:03] day you want to make it count and make
[5:05] it awesome like for example some people
[5:08] make powerpoints i've seen storytelling
[5:10] about their youtuber lore heck i've even
[5:13] seen a youtuber host a live dj content
[5:16] on their debut like what we are in the
[5:18] year 2022 streaming is not like how it
[5:22] was like the you say to me you
[5:23] little you honestly cannot expect
[5:26] chad to entertain you they are there for
[5:28] you to entertain them and i understand
[5:31] that is a lot easier said than done but
[5:34] think of it this way if you're posting
[5:35] on social media and you got people
[5:38] curious enough to want to check you out
[5:39] then you need to give them a reason to
[5:41] stay this works regardless if you're
[5:43] debuting your model or just going live
[5:45] for the day to play a game you want to
[5:47] make sure your content is relatable and
[5:49] that you're memorable to your viewers
[5:51] don't just debut chat for a bit and then
[5:54] be like okay i'mma go play fortnite for
[5:56] four hours you'll make a lot of your
[5:57] audience leave because you didn't give
[5:59] them a memorable impression during your
[6:01] debut speaking of impressions if you're
[6:04] still watching up to this point then you
[6:06] are probably enjoying my video about
[6:08] this topic i make a lot of other videos
[6:10] about v2bing as well as my own youtuber
[6:13] content so make sure you subscribe to my
[6:15] channel and give this video a thumbs up

[6:20] supports me as a content creator so

[6:31] it's important to be making content
[6:33] before you debut and after because
[6:35] content is key to being a successful
[6:38] streamer you should make content that
[6:39] not only interests you but is
[6:42] entertaining to others like i said just
[6:44] going live and playing a video game
[6:46] isn't enough anymore to entertain people
[6:48] because there are so many others doing
[6:51] this exact same thing if you're going to
[6:53] be playing a game then you should plan
[6:55] on different ways to make it interesting
[6:58] there's so many different activities and
[7:00] ideas that you can make it a more
[7:03] interesting stream this is important
[7:04] because you want to be able to make
[7:07] clips or video edits after that will
[7:09] turn into good youtube videos or tick
[7:11] tocks or youtube shorts oh no she
[7:13] mentioned tick tock yes tick tock a lot
[7:16] of people tend to get angry on twitter
[7:18] about tick tock but you know what the
[7:19] reality is that in order to become a
[7:22] successful streamer you need to make
[7:24] content on other platforms it's becoming
[7:27] more difficult to get more viewers when
[7:30] all you do is stream and if you don't
[7:32] have a lot of time to be on multiple
[7:34] platforms then you should work smarter
[7:37] about making your streams becoming good
[7:39] videos or clips to post online later on
[7:42] there are some games that i refuse to
[7:44] stream because i don't feel like it's
[7:46] entertaining to watch so i play them
[7:48] offline and make videos about them
[7:50] instead or i just play them to have fun
[7:52] and relax not everything that you play
[7:55] and do has to be for content it's
[7:57] important to also play things for your
[7:59] own enjoyment i'm not going to go over
[8:01] on how to be consistent with your
[8:02] content because it's kind of obvious
[8:04] that you need to be posting something
[8:06] online a couple of times throughout the
[8:08] week what i really want to stress on is
[8:10] that you cannot expect to just go live
[8:13] with nothing planned and to just blow up
[8:16] any v tuber or streamer who has blown up
[8:18] from a debut has worked hard planning
[8:21] and promoting their streams just take a
[8:23] look at any popular youtuber and notice
[8:25] what kind of content they post they're
[8:27] not just tweeting complaining about how
[8:29] life sucks they're usually posting a
[8:31] clip from their stream or showcasing
[8:33] some artwork that they got or even
[8:35] posting a meme you know something that
[8:37] people enjoy looking at and is relatable
[8:39] so make sure that when you do post
[8:41] online it's something that's about you
[8:43] as a content creator and something that
[8:45] you believe other people can resonate
[8:48] with but maui what if i don't have an
[8:49] audience yet okay then think of an
[8:52] activity that will make a great clip or
[8:55] some kind of video on youtube you should
[8:57] always try to be innovative if something
[8:59] isn't working then change it try
[9:01] something else don't be afraid to fail
[9:04] you want to keep your audience excited
[9:06] for what you have planned next now what
[9:08] about collabs honestly you don't need to
[9:11] collab with anyone to grow i have seen
[9:13] plenty of streamers grow without
[9:15] collabing with anyone you should only
[9:18] collab if it's someone who you enjoy
[9:20] playing video games with it doesn't
[9:22] matter if the other person is a vtuber
[9:24] what matters is if you both mesh well
[9:27] together and can make good content
[9:28] together there's a lot of things i would
[9:30] love to discuss about in regards to
[9:32] collabs but i think it'd be better to
[9:34] discuss it more in another video so
[9:37] let's move on to the next topic brand
[9:39] awareness i don't know why nobody ever
[9:42] wants to talk about this but it is so
[9:43] important to work on your brand before
[9:46] and after you debut your brand is what
[9:48] defines you as a content creator when
[9:51] someone looks at my socials and my
[9:53] content they can immediately tell that
[9:55] my whole brand has some kind of sleep
[9:57] aesthetic to it oh and i like corgis
[9:59] when you have a professional and
[10:00] consistent brand you will gain more
[10:02] followers because people will believe in
[10:04] your authenticity you don't have to have
[10:07] everything polished right away but as
[10:08] you continue to grow and learn more
[10:11] about vtubing you should be trying to
[10:13] improve your social media presence so
[10:15] people can more easily recognize your
[10:18] brand when you post remember you want to
[10:20] be relatable and memorable now here are
[10:24] some hard truths i like to mention about
[10:26] becoming a v tuber the first one is that
[10:29] being a youtuber is no different than
[10:32] becoming a streamer or a content creator
[10:34] i know mine
[10:36] blown right when v2 being first started
[10:39] to blow up people were so curious about
[10:41] what v2 being was and that's how a lot
[10:44] of people blew up for simply having a
[10:47] cool looking model now most of those
[10:49] youtubers or people have either
[10:51] graduated or are losing a lot of their
[10:55] following because they suck at being
[10:57] content creators let's be honest they're
[10:59] bad at being content creators or they
[11:02] got too burnt out and stressed from the
[11:04] pressure of trying to have to constantly
[11:07] push out good content because they blew
[11:09] up so fast not knowing how to be a
[11:11] proper content creator the mystery and
[11:14] the gimmick of vituvin has worn off
[11:16] people understand what v tubing is and
[11:19] accept it as another form of content
[11:21] creation now they want to know how you
[11:23] can be entertaining to them as a v tuber
[11:25] so now when you're starting out don't
[11:27] expect to blow up immediately you should
[11:29] be thinking about what kind of content
[11:31] you want to make that's good and then
[11:33] make sure you're setting up realistic
[11:35] goals for yourself if you really want to
[11:37] grow and become successful you cannot
[11:39] just grind hours and hours streaming on
[11:42] twitch there is little to no
[11:44] discoverability on twitch and you're
[11:46] just wasting your time streaming every
[11:48] day for hours to know viewers nobody
[11:50] else will tell you this because they
[11:52] just want you to watch their youtube
[11:53] video give them a ton of praise in their
[11:55] comment section and then give them a
[11:56] popularity boost by feeding you generic
[11:59] information that you could just easily
[12:01] google like i could just say yeah make
[12:03] good content be consistent don't give up
[12:05] and yeah it sucks to hear it but i don't
[12:07] mind being that reality check for you if
[12:09] you actually want to become successful
[12:12] as a youtuber or a content creator
[12:14] because at the end of the day your
[12:15] content is what will define you as a
[12:18] youtuber not your follow count as long
[12:20] as you are investing in yourself in your
[12:23] brand and improving your content then
[12:25] people will want to invest in you people
[12:28] are not there because you're playing the
[12:29] brand new video game sure some people
[12:31] might be but a lot of them are there for
[12:33] you showcasing the best version of
[12:35] yourself is what's going to make you
[12:37] unique and grow so don't give up and
[12:39] feel bad about yourself if you aren't
[12:41] blowing up right away it's going to take
[12:43] a lot of failures and trying to just
[12:45] throw random crap at a wall before
[12:48] something sticks i have failed a lot of
[12:51] times and the difference between me and
[12:53] a lot of these other people who are
[12:54] graduating or giving up is the fact that
[12:56] i don't give up no matter how many times
[12:58] i fail i keep getting back up and trying
[13:01] something new so as long as you are
[13:03] constantly improving yourself and trying
[13:05] to learn something new to enhance your
[13:07] content then you will definitely see
[13:09] growth and it might be slow and you know
[13:11] what having slow and steady growth isn't
[13:14] a bad thing we all start from somewhere
