a lot of bloggers get to the point where their article is written and they miss out on another big opportunity to really make their content stand out so let's talk about this other item on our pre-published checklist for this one what we want to do is we want to add elements of Interest through formatting so some things that we're going to do we want to make sure that we have images in our blog post but we also want to have other things that make stuff stand out a bolded paragraph here that answers the primary question of this article right away is a great way to make that stand out good subheadings make an article very scannable further down I went ahead and took something that the writer originally wrote in kind of a paragraph format and I broke it into a numbered list because it was a step-by-step process simple formatting changes help certain content really stand out so as people scan through it it's going to make certain things pop out for them and then they're going to slow down and read those things now don't miss the rest of the items on my pre-published checklist I'll put a link in the comments on this video so that you can go watch another video where I walk through a whole bunch of stuff that I do on every article before hitting publish
