Voss and today we are reacting to the clips of Spider-Man brand new day, the trailer that Sony is going to be releasing tomorrow on Wednesday, March 18th. And for whatever reason today, they are deciding to leak out little one
to two second clips of that trailer and hope that gets us excited enough to to watch it all tomorrow anyway, so why is Sony doing it this way? I have no idea. I I don't know what they're doing. All I do know is that I woke up to Tom
we're going to unite with fans around the world to drop little bits of the trailer that you'll see tomorrow." Don't get me wrong, I live on social media. I'm, you know, I'm in entombed here on YouTube. So I don't
mind it when studios kind of try weird stuff like this to release their ways. I would just say this is an >> [laughter] >> Nothing wrong with it. I I give me more.
Give me more. I just think he would have gotten the same result had he just said, "Trailer tomorrow." and you stitched all of all these together in like 10 to 15 seconds with the movie logo. We would have been just as excited. Instead, you
have just like the worst of social media who's like impatiently trying to figure out what's going on. But I figured let's all come here on the YouTube channel of New Rockstars and just react to these. There's a total of eight of them as of
ninth or a 10th one, we'll add it to the list and react to those as it happens. try to figure this out in real time with you. What's going on? I'm going to answer your questions as they come because this is a live stream. And I

of Hulk is going to be like the biggest question. Jon Bernthal's Punisher, Sadie Sink getting some clear shots of what character Sadie Sink is playing exactly. character Sadie Sink is playing exactly. I do think it is going to be Jean Grey.

Rebirth. Oh. That's it. Rebirth. What you heard there was the voice of Marvin Jones III as Tombstone saying the word rebirth. And I'll read the full quote in a second, but let's
just talk about the visual of this. Right away, any Spider-Man fan should recognize this image. It's the image of Peter Parker on the cover of Amazing Fantasy 15, the first comic appearance of Spider-Man in 1962. I believe August
of 1962. They literally put this dude in a green suit just like he is on that comic cover. It's an iconic image. Even the weirdly like like you know, the way Spider-Man is kind of like angled out there, posed
out, it's because that's how Steve Ditko drew him on that cover. So if it looks a little goofy to you, that's by design. Now, what people are talking about here look at New York. It's foggy, it's smoky, it's hazy.
Sometimes New York just looks like that, folks. There may be a fire happening in favorite theory that I'm seeing going around is that this could be the same day in which the centuries void form
New York City as we saw in the Thunderbolts film. You know, that little girl in overalls where she just went turned her into a shadow. This could be the events of Thunderbolts that we're seeing here.
Uh I really love that idea because there there was some speculation that Florence Pugh was going to be in this movie. I don't think that was confirmed yet by the studio, but I you can imagine Florence Pugh is uh is going to be here
in the moment. Maybe she and Peter Parker lock eyes or something like that. Um let's see. I want to take a few more. If you guys have specific questions, um or or super chats uh or if you want to send it through super chat that I'll be
able to see it better there. Uh Sarah Achadoria is asking who is he holding? I think it's just going to be some random guy. Um but maybe it'll be reference to um like they'll call him Steve as a reference to Steve Ditko. You can see
how he does have like a ring, it looks like, on his finger. Maybe this is like a Harry Osborn. We'll see. But it wasn't Harry Osborn in that 1962 comic cover. Um maybe this will be part of a montage. Uh
some rumors that Joe Keery could be a Harry Osborn in in this movie. I don't all in this. Uh but let me know in the chat who do who do you think this person is who he's swinging to save? Uh do you think that this could be connected to

Um, Meg Maddie asking, do we think there's any reason as to why they chose certain clips to release? It could be possible that some of these clips are just specifically iconic comic covers or things that remind us of Andrew Garfield
or Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man. I really don't know. I really I again, I I did not tell Sony to do it this way and I think it's really weird that they did. Um, let's see. Uh, Caleb Mazarin Mazrini
don't know if I want Grey Hulk, honestly. I want Savage Hulk. Grey Hulk Hulk and by sentient I know they're always sentient, but like semi-intelligent form of Hulk when uh, Hulk is in Vegas and he's kind of like,
I don't know, kind of a thug and he's not that great of a guy. I just don't think we've had a proper green Savage Hulk enough in the MCU. Um, and that's what I I want to see in this movie uh, more than a Grey Hulk. I
it's going to be a Grey Hulk. I really just want um, that green Hulk. Is it Jim 71 saying it was Norman in the comics who he's saving? So, that could be fun. We could have a Norman Osborn. Now, the the rub
with that is when Willem Dafoe Norman Osborn came into this universe in Spider-Man: No Way Home, he said that there was no Oscorp. He of him. I guess you could say there's no Oscorp,
this universe who just didn't start an Oscorp. But, if this guy looks as suited up with the green suit and the ring as he is here, it would imply that he's rich enough to be a a tech entrepreneur and an
industrialist that would have started an Oscorp. Uh, and I don't know if they If it's If there's going to be a Norman Osborn in this movie, guys, it's going to be a name. And it's not going to be Tramel Tillman. Tramel Tillman is in

Um and there's a lot of really fun stuff that they're already showing. about this, I understand if you really want me to say that out loud by putting spend the super chat hating on what Sony is doing today.
it's so gray in the shot?" Hey, maybe it is just that haze of of the Sentry void form. Um or it could just be smoke or fog. That often happens in New York City. Could be um could be pollution. Uh let's see. Yuka
Prieto saying, "What if the Sentry is what makes Hulk savage?" Could be. Maybe Maybe the Sentry takes him into his darkest form. But that's not exactly of like by banishing you into that shadow realm, he kind of takes you to
your most traumatic memory. And yeah, maybe you could say that the smart Hulk Hulk form buried that Savage Hulk form by doing that. Um that would be pretty complicated metaphysics to explain in this movie. But if they do want to go in
that direction, I think it'd be really cool. cool. Um let's see. Yeah, yeah Hannah, we do have the most
recent clip. We'll get to that later. Um do you guys have any other other questions about the specific clip? Ultimately, if if I had to put money on it, this wouldn't be specifically uh Harry Osborn. It wouldn't be
specifically um the Sentry Void thing. But I I hope we do revisit the events of the do revisit the events of the Thunderbolts scene just so we can get to
Florence Pugh. Um so just to kind of circle back to how I said we heard the what's-his-face at the beginning here, right? Let's play it again. Rebirth. Rebirth. So the full quote, uh and I'm
not going to tell you how I know this, but I know it. Uh the full quote that uh Tombstone played by Marvin Jones the Third says here is "Spiders have three life cycles, and between cycles it can leave the spider vulnerable to threats.
Those spiders make it through a kind of rebirth." And that's where rebirth comes Uh Marvin Jones the Third is playing a specific version of Lonnie Lincoln Tombstone in this movie. Um
I don't know what how exactly it's all going to connect. If like Sadie Sink is is playing like an anti-mutant authority who's chasing her down, and Peter's why why Lonnie Lincoln is kind of the
bio biologist expert on all this? I don't know. And I'll wait to see the trailer tomorrow to see how it all connects. But for now, it's kind of hard Uh >> [laughter]
>> I have to highlight this. Jake Frank saying "Maybe he's swinging through dirty." Jake, have you been to New York? Like, Hell's Kitchen in like the 2020s of New York is no less or more dirty than the rest of the city is. Even in
Matt Murdock's version of Hell's Kitchen, it's not like filthier. It's not like the Narrows of Gotham. It's just literally like six square blocks of Manhattan that shares the same air as like Soho and the Upper East Side and
and like downtown and the financial district. So, I just love the idea that people are like, "Oh, Hell's Kitchen. You walk through whatever 8th Avenue is over past 42nd Street and you're like, 'Oh, I walked through a wall of smoke. I
must be in Hell's Kitchen.'" But, I love the theory there. I I don't mean to I I really appreciate all of you guys joining the conversation. It's It's time to move on to the next clip. So, let's move on to the next clip.

rough. He looks rough, sweaty, tired, exhausted. And I will say this camera tilt on his faint reminds me of a certain scene in the reminds me of a certain scene in the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man 1 in 2002 when
he's in his bedroom after he gets bitten by the spider and Aunt May's knocking on the door and he collapses in a similar scene of sweat as Tom Holland is in now. One thing that is that's being determined about this movie
that's being determined about this movie is that Tom Holland Parker is like going through some kind of physiological change as Spider-Man that he did not go through in his past three movies or in any of the Marvel MCU crossover movies
Civil War Infinity War and Endgame. Uh there's something happening to his body. Um he's We'll see in another clip how he's got organic web shooters that don't require the mechanical web shooters. Uh he might have some kind of organic
cocoon that he's wrapped in. Uh he's not in a good shape. But I do it does kind of remind us of what Toby went through when he got real sweaty and he just collapsed in like a cold sweat and fainted and grabbed like his blanket
cocooned himself and then came out ripped. Um now he's already Spider-Man so what changed with Peter Parker here to cause Was it some kind of interaction with whatever mutant Cindy Sink is playing?
Was there some other kind of like toxin? Uh was there some other kind of drug? Was it some kind of effect from century that caused him to reconnect with the here's the deal guys. We we have not seen the spider bite. That's like a part
of his origin story in the MCU that like the MCU has just never shown us. interesting. That was like they didn't want to like go back to that time but we Ned in Spider-Man Homecoming did say like, "The spider that bit you like is
it still alive?" And then he goes, "No, the spider's dead, Ned." Um so yeah. guys think. Like what do you think is going on here? why do you think he's fainting? What what
uh let's see. Jonathan saying his body's changing the organic webs coming. Yeah, changing the organic webs coming. Yeah, I think that is happening here. Um Um Peter Parker really cannot get a break, Sarah says.
your super chat. Seeing any chance Punisher steals the War Machine armor and helps fight Hulk? Also, I think the changes are leading to Man-Spider. If we actually do see Man-Spider in this
movie, I don't know, guys. Like, cuz we're Spider-Noir. I I'm not saying it won't happen in this movie. It's just like it'd be weird for like the MGM series, and I guess the Prime Video series,
Spider-Noir to have a version in that and have Tom Holland go through it here. Um maybe it might just be an homage and they'll have like multiple physical arms. Doesn't it just all seem like a weird direction to be going in this
movie? I I don't know how that also makes sense with like the mutant saga don't know why Hulk needs to be in that movie. I don't know why Tombstone and Scorpion need to be in that movie. It's just like I again, I'm willing to wait
that would all connect. Uh to answer your question about Punisher stealing next time, baby. I I don't know. I don't know if we're going to see War Machine armor in this. I I don't know if they really have a plan for War Machine.
Uh that's just my thought. Um let's see. Puberty, some people are saying in chat. I just He's past puberty. Our man's like college age. I believe we're like 4 years after Spider-Man: No Way Home in
Uh and I know we have some late bloomers. I just don't think that's what bloomers. I just don't think that's what he's going through. Um someone asking, do we see the tiny Venom goo in this movie? Sarah asks. No, I think that was
Sony setting up Venom 3, and that's as much as we're going to get there. Ickrin saying, any of the shots from the rumored leaked trailer? Um I wouldn't know for sure.
Uh but yeah, a lot of these shots, from what I hear, are from the rumored leaked trailer. They look much better than I believe what was out there. There is at least one shot from all this that is uh definitely new. So, that tells us that
trailer drops tomorrow than what was in the leaked trailer. Um Okay. to move on to the next one.

across a rooftop and then breaks someone's air conditioning by parkouring over it and jumping off the building. I think this leads to our eighth clip where he's basically like
yeeting off the edge of a building. But, one thing I want to appreciate about these shots of his suits, and you really do see this better in the other shot, he is his suits have like some kind of natural wrinkles in them that I really
that reminds us of Andrew Garfield's loosely and it just looks like actual fabric that Spider-Man is wearing as opposed to just like skin-tight you know, something that makes the character
That was one thing that was definitely a design upgrade when we got to the Andrew falling through the sky, you would see the the air pressure and and the wind bit and I think they are bringing some of those notes into this era of
Spider-Man and I think it's a relief because honestly the MCU Infinity Saga era of Peter Parker was defined by the Iron Spider suit. It was all felt like it was it was tiny pieces of nanotech
in a way that didn't really feel natural because Spider-Man should design now designed his own suit, we saw it in the Spider-Man No Way Home, he had a sewing machine. It's just like how we like to imagine Peter Parker.
Z asking, "How do you feel about the release strategy?" I don't know. I think I'll have my full opinion about this when the trailer releases tomorrow. I think it's weird. Uh, I I don't have a problem with Sony giving us like little
just gave us 10 seconds of it as opposed to like I I honestly don't know who got pieces of this trailer and how they entered into the world. I just saw them like you guys did, aggregated through various
like social media accounts. Uh, I think the fact that it like I'm We didn't need to be part of any kind of marketing strategy, but I'm just saying like it it's just odd. Um, release it through an official Sony
account is I think is an easier way to do it. Or do like a live stream the way Marvel Studios did their Avengers chairs announcement. Something that it was also something weird and out of the box, people online are just going to
I don't want to be too much a part of that criticism, but I don't have too >> [laughter] >> Uh, hell HP clip saying someone said Peter Parkour. Uh, couldn't agree. Um, come on.
>> But yeah, I guess it is. Let's move to a different still of it. Uh, him pulling on his mask, it also reminds me of a shot in Spider-Man 2 from 2004 when and he quickly rips open his shirt to show the spider suit underneath and he
pulls on the mask. Uh, yeah, that was like a really cool intense moment and that does kind of feel like what's going on here. Um, Uh, I thought I saw someone else share something.
Uh, Lil Sketch Wrench asking, "What do you want in this movie?" Um, I would love it if this movie could set up the mutant saga. I want to see just a savage Hulk. I want a plot where it makes sense for Hulk and Spider-Man to team up so
it's not just for for spectacle of it. Uh, I want like the philosophy of both way that just feels natural and it makes sense. lives up to the brand new day era of the comics. That really did mean a lot to
um One More Day and leading up to One Moment in Time. There really was a grounded street level story. Brian, how's it going over there? Going great.
time everyone pointing out the spider, but I didn't know it's hilarious. but I didn't know it's hilarious. Uh I just wanted to >> missed maybe, but otherwise I think you're good. Okay.
Brian also appreciates that dad ass. Uh someone asking, "Thanks for your super chat chat Omar Lord. Any Doom hints in this trailer?" I think in a post-credit scene. I do think we we got to have some post-credit scene that that
connects Spider-Man to these events. Now, we don't know if Spider-Man Peter Parker Tom Holland is going to be in Avengers Doomsday, but he we think he Sink will. So, it's going to connect somehow. I had a I had a theory that I
feel pretty good about about like how this makes sense. That like why if Sadie Sink is going to be Jean Grey, like why introduce her as Jean Grey in this movie? Like why do you need Jean Grey in a Spider-Man movie if if everything's
going to get kind of blown up and rebooted as part of Doomsday and Secret Wars anyway. If this universe is going to get incursioned upon and broken apart I had was like, "Okay, you introduce Jean Grey on the run right now."
And then really the Phoenix Force is just part of her to kind of be like, "You're Jean, you're about to go through this shit." So, Jean, give Phoenix Force the wheel. Phoenix Force will take over and be this
fiery badass in Battleworld. And then that basically star power will be depleted at the end of Secret Wars and then she'll go back to just being Jean what happened, but it won't be too traumatic for her
Academy in the in the X-Men film that comes after so that she can kind of be on the same page with, you know, Scott Summers and and Bobby Drake and Hank McCoy and Warren Worthington the third and that way like it can just be part of
part of her past, but you won't have to like set up the expectation that like she'll go through a a Dark Phoenix Saga in the Mutant Saga. I think we've seen work. So I think if you're going to do Jean Grey again, if you're Kevin Feige,
the past and I think that's just one way they could go. We had a recent video you guys check it out. Um so other questions.

do that in 2019 as Dark Phoenix. And it's just it does the actresses playing that. Especially if you're going to layer all this VFX crap on top of them. And you have someone as good as Sadie Sink is and let her organically find
Jean Grey without having her have to play this dual identity and try to make it a metaphor for you know, in in 2006 or 2006 they called it schizophrenia incorrectly. In 2019 they were calling it DID. And in that
to call what Jean Grey was going through. So, I just don't want them to like show other components to the Jean Grey character. something that we're excited to see as she's like torching parts of Battleworld

like the like the look of Tom Holland in his suit. We know it's practical to go from the transition of having the mask on his head to pulling it down and the
silhouette looks as good as it does in just a clean pull down. Like I have uh an Infinity War era Iron Spider clingy Spider-Man suit that I did not fit into when I got it in 2018, and I don't fit into it now. But I can tell you having
tried to do this, if you've ever cosplayed with a Spider-Man mask, it never goes on cleanly. It it it's always a little tilted or wrinkled. The eye pieces don't line up. So, the fact that it does that well here and it looks like
they shot it practically um is just like impressive costume design that I really love. A lot of you guys pointing out web shooters. Yep, definitely web shooters here. So, I just think there are some shots where there
there are not. And I think the web shooter shots are from earlier in the slingshotting himself is later in the movie where he no longer needs web shooters. I could be wrong. I don't know. Um

this be the scene where Florence Pugh Yelena Belova makes the cameo? On to the next clip. Okay, here in this clip, Peter Parker collapses in a cold sweat and the camera tilts with him. A shot that reminds me a
lot of Toby Maguire's fainting in his bedroom in the first Spider-Man film. been poisoned by Scorpion? Is there some other kind of physiological um life cycle phase of of spiders that uh Tombstone is referencing in the audio

Um All right, the next one. Here we see uh Peter Parker masking up, running and jumping over an AC unit off the edge of
a building. We notice well, a lot of things about this shot. Uh but what I'll things about this shot. Uh but what I'll do is just linger on this frame where Tom Holland masks up and there are specific texture and wrinkles in his
suit that are uh reminiscent of Andrew Garfield Spider-Man suit in The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. We really love to see it. Uh in this shot, this is the most cryptic shot for a lot of us because
he is he does not have web shooters in this shot. Most other shots that we've seen so far, he does have web shooters. So, what's going on here? He is definitely slingshotting himself. He is not uh like
uh twipping Hulk because we do see like the two splotches of webbing on the edge of the other building. Um he gets a good in a good yell in here. Um here in this shot, we are inside of Peter Parker's mask um where
something is reflected in his eye. Uh it's impossible to have the camera this close in between his eye and the snugly fitting mask. So, it's just kind of an interesting alternate version of the a display.
Uh but one thing we did notice here is that there's something glowing in reflected in his eyes. There you go. Uh so, we're trying to figure out what that glow is. Are they the windows of the Sanctum Sanctorum? Is
it just like an exploding building um down beneath him? Um the next angle is, I think, our I'm just really impressed with how they could practically design a mask and have
him pull it over and it fits so perfectly on his face um like that, you know? Like, it's not easy to design a mask so that when you pull it over your face practically like that, the eye holes line up and it fits
so perfectly to create that wrinkle-less silhouette. Uh the seventh one is our one shot of Zendaya as MJ with Peter on some kind of rooftop. I don't know if this is in some billboard, some kind of
scaffolding. Um then, our think this connects to the earlier shot we saw where you can really see the rippling in his suit as he falls. This could be connected to the shot of his
eye hole that we see before, and he's seeing some explosion on the ground. Uh the ninth shot shows uh Punisher running over him uh in a van. Uh Peter Peter's spidey senses aren't activated enough, but he
not see it coming, uh and Punisher just hits him with a van. Uh you can see Peter's hand here. Punisher's got a lot of crap on his dashboard. Uh and then, the 10th video is this shot
apartment. We confirm this is Peter Parker's apartment where he fades. This Parker's apartment where he fades. This is his gear that includes a uh CB radio. and uh
this is um all his stuff. Um we think this is Sadie Sink, but we Um we think this is Sadie Sink, but we don't know.
to oops the threats. facility where there's someone in medical scrubs, there's someone in a medical scrubs, there's someone in a white lab coat, there's also soldiers
and just office workers. Uh this looks like some kind of armed fortified prison building with a armored tank that seems saw, but also an office building on this
was just a set design that looked like it was made to explode. Um yeah, so there's just some kind of general explosions. This was shot somewhere in in Glasgow. We don't really
know. That's a summary of the 10 clips that we have so far. clips that we have so far. Um
entering Peter's mind because of Sentry. Oh, like that's what's happening there. to see Peter affected by Sentry. I I think that'd be really really cool to that could be why Peter's going through the physical things he's going through.

to be coming in together. Um Jubilee could be part of that same group as well. Uh I've talked a lot about what our gateway mutant to the And uh and I think at this point Sadie Sink
the idea of like Bobby Drake being a gateway mutant. Maybe they'll make Kamala Khan a gateway mutant. You need to have Who's Who's The way Jubilee was kind of the wide-eyed, "What is this world?" uh character in the X-Men 1992
animated series first episode, and she kind of replaced Kitty Pryde that was in the original pilot. Uh and then Sunspot, Roberto da Costa, was that next in '97. gateway mutant who's kind of new to this world, who gets recruited at the
