[09:28] they were vulgar, defamatory, and harmful to India's image, And they demanded the Delhi High Court block the videos immediately. These weren't just any uploads,

[09:55] And the risk wasn't just losing views under India's penal code, whether race, religion, or nationality, Which meant, if the case went the wrong way,
[10:09] PewDiePie wasn't just facing takedown, He could have been facing fines, In the end, the court sided with T series. But here's the twist. In America, they stayed up!

[10:37] And that's the only reason his diss tracks, This next creator found themselves in a legal battle, This is what's called a hate raid,
[10:50] And it got one of the biggest YouTubers permanently banned on Twitch, Jidion told his viewers to check out Pokimane, they swarmed her chat, spamming her with insults,
[11:02] But Jidion isn't the focus of the story, because Jidion then turned to Ninja, Help me step Ninja... Guys is literally, I promise you guys, there's literally nothing I can do!
[11:17] Gideon says he's sorry! When Pokimane told her viewers that Ninja said this, denying he ever texted anyone and accusing her of lying!
[11:30] threatening a lawsuit! It was streamer versus streamer. and the stakes huge!
[11:42] a defamation lawsuit could have cost Pokimane millions in damages and crushed So did Pokimane actually defame Ninja, or was she just repeating his own words? Alright, I sent the text!
[11:57] it has to be a false statement. the most I can do is text my Twitch representative about this, Pokimane didn't twist Ninja's words, She didn't speculate,
[12:12] Even if he never actually sent the text, and was therefore based in truth. Because of this, And as for Gideon, he and Pokimane made up, and since then,
[12:28] But while Pokimane and Jidion's drama ended peacefully, the next case pushed YouTube into uncharted territory, Have you guys ever heard of Bold Guy, AKA Matt Hoss?

[12:59] When they refused, he sued! And here's why that was terrifying, If H3H3 lost, It would create precedent, which is basically a new rule,
[13:15] that would crush commentary reviews, even reaction videos across YouTube! and that's why Fans donated over $130,000 to H3H3's legal defense fund, called FUPA, short for the Fair Use Protection Account.
[13:29] Was this fair use, or was it copyright infringement? Matt argued that H3H3 just reposted his clip without adding anything new, saying their video clearly added commentary,
[13:44] claiming jokes don't excuse stealing footage, So H3H3 doubled down by pointing out that Fair use exists to protect Commentary, parody, and criticism.
[13:57] wondering if the judge would side with H3H3 or set a precedent that In the end, H3H3 landed the knockout! which meant their commentary was protected!
[14:13] They set a precedent that helped protect every creator who relies on fair use. and faced federal charges for it!
[14:25] crimes going on in the background there, and this And Jake Paul's just in the middle of all of it, It doesn't look like he's participating in anything or even encouraging it,
[14:43] real legal trouble! Scottsdale police charged him with criminal trespass and unlawful assembly. And once those charges were filed, things didn't calm down, they escalated,
[15:00] The FBI raided Jake's mansion, seized multiple guns, and started digging for anything that could connect him to looting or vandalism. It was a federal investigation!
[15:13] it's not enough to prove someone was nearby or caught on video. prosecutors have to show beyond a reasonable doubt that they were And after months of digging, they couldn't!
[15:27] or vandalizing that night, The local charges were never refiled, and Jake Paul, Not because of who he is,
[15:42] not just presents. this next YouTuber was crossing paths with one of the most Ray William Johnson wasn't just another YouTuber,
[15:55] but he recently found himself staring at an email that could ruin everything! The message demanded that he delete his videos,
[16:07] issue a public apology, and stay silent, -or face legal action overseas. The demand came from a firm in the Philippines representing Kibaloy built a fortune from his followers by pretending
[16:22] flaunting private jets, fancy houses, and even political influence! But behind the image, were serious criminal allegations... but led to Kibaloy being put in prison,
[16:36] He laid it all out. The lavish lifestyle, the criminal history, the indictments. But then came the letter.
[16:48] Suddenly, this wasn't just a YouTube drama, So last year, Apollo. And I guess he sees it,
[17:02] because while he's sitting in jail, he sends his lawyers after me! He left the video up, refused to apologize, and went as far as to call Kibaloy a con artist in a second video!
[17:15] You, in fact, are a con artist, a cult leader who apparently can't even get laid without coercing kids into it! Here's the thing, If Kibaloy had been just a normal citizen,
[17:29] He was a public figure, and that changes everything. They have to prove something called Actual Malice. That means showing Ray knew his statements were false and published
[17:44] And since Ray's video pulled everything from official sources no US Court would ever treat Kibaloy's case as credible!
[17:57] What started as a terrifying threat ended up collapsing under the weight of the law. But as crazy as Ray's situation was, it's nothing compared to the next scandal, Guys, you already know what honey is, probably!

[18:42] Megalag accused Honey of running what's called cookie stuffing. taking credit for sales it didn't generate, and blocking legitimate coupon codes so it could push the ones that made it money.
[18:57] It's misleading millions of customers at the exact same time. Some of the biggest names in the world. Countless gaming channels all ran Honey ads,
[19:12] Not because they knew what was happening, but because they trusted the product. a federal class action led by YouTuber Legal Eagle and backed by other creators.
[19:24] accusing Honey of violating state consumer protection laws, a company can't secretly manipulate checkout systems,
[19:36] That'd be unfair business practices. the penalties can stretch into the tens of millions! Which means this isn't just a story about angry YouTubers,
[19:49] It's about millions of everyday people, maybe even you, who downloaded Honey, it may have been taking more than it ever gave back. So if pewdiepie's battle showed how the law can protect creators,
