## Summary

The video offers advice for male VTubers, addressing common insecurities about entering a space perceived as female-dominated. The creator emphasizes focusing on content creation rather than gender, avoiding forced personas, and simply having fun with the process.

### Key Points

- **Not an authority, just sharing** [00:14] — The creator clarifies they are not a huge authority on vtubing and are simply sharing personal experiences to help others.
- **Don't let being male hold you back** [00:27] — Advises male VTubers not to make their gender their whole personality or let it hold them back, as comparing to bigger female VTubers is counterproductive.
- **Focus on content, not gender** [01:07] — Emphasizes that being a male VTuber is not a disadvantage; instead, focus on being a content creator first and prioritize the content itself.
- **No need to be a sexy idol** [01:35] — States that male VTubers don't need to try to be super sexy or have a deep voice unless that's the audience they're targeting; forced personas come off as cringe.
- **Just have fun** [02:55] — Concludes that overthinking slows you down; the key is to have fun and not get stuck on gender-related insecurities.

### Conclusion

The main takeaway is to stop overthinking gender and focus on creating content you enjoy, as authenticity and fun are more important than fitting a stereotype.

YouTuber because apparently they said they get a lot of questions from male YouTubers asking, "Oh, how do I become one and you know just that general on it what he was saying there a little bit. But first, I just want to say that
I'm not some huge authority on vtubing. I don't make the rules. I'm not here to tell people what to do. But I figured I just want to share some things that I've YouTuber on YouTube. And if I can help anybody, then that's awesome. Now, the
wants to be a YouTuber and happen to be a guy or, you know, just any upandcoming that you're a male YouTuber be your whole personality. You know, stop letting that hold you back. Stop getting in your own head about, oh man, this
space is only only females can, you know, do well in a vtubing space and I'm a guy so I stand no chance. Stop thinking about that because off the bat have and you're really not going to get anywhere if you're trying to compare
yourself to the bigger female YouTubers. And I'll be honest, you know, I I'll be guess the majority of big YouTubers in the space happen to be female. That's That's how it is. But that doesn't necessarily mean guys can't be YouTubers
either, or it's just something you shouldn't even attempt to do because about how you approach it. You know, the fact that you're a male YouTuber is really all that matters. All the time you're focusing on how can I become a
thinking about or just looking at it from I'm just a content creator. Yes, creator first and I shouldn't be focused on what type of content I should make as You should be more focused on the content itself. You should really be
putting most of your time on coming up with ideas and content you enjoy making and possibly somebody else will enjoy watching. And something else I want to mention as well is you don't need to try super hard to be some sexy male idol or
whatever. Unless that's type that's the type of audience you're pandering to and around that then that's that's totally understand a lot of YouTubers a lot of male YouTubers in the early days that's
would see the female YouTubers kind of did that. that's not even as popular as it currently is or as it was at one point being a super sexy female YouTuber audience. Like that's not even a
once upon a time in my opinion. Like yeah, it still works, but I think people they're more focused on, oh, I don't have to do that to grow. I can just be myself and make the content I want to make and that'll be just fine. So, if
trying to make your model as super sexy and attractive and don't you don't have to have this super deep voice. You don't certain audience because if you're not in my opinion, you know, this might be a
anybody, but in my opinion, when I see guy YouTubers do that, even sometimes female YouTubers, it's kind of cringe if it's not something they're naturally very obvious when they're going out of their way to do it. And it can kind of
you're really not trying to do that, that's really not something you want to >> In conclusion, >> just have fun with it. Stop overthinking That's all that's going to do is slow you down. It's really going to get in
making content because you're too focused on the fact that you're a guy to say on this topic right now. Hopefully, I helped somebody. That's for watching and I'll talk to you in the next one.
