[00:02] buy this type of PDF in the name of e-book. Selling e-books used to be very easy. But nowadays the competition is so much that the game is quite difficult. And then there are videos on top of that that teach you how to create more and more e-books and landing [00:17] pages in the name of selling e-books. But we have done everything in a practical and grounded manner. In the last two weeks, I created an e-book and then tried to sell it on different platforms. We tried all three: Google Ads, Facebook [00:29] Ads, and Pinterest Ads. Make sure you watch the entire video sincerely. You will learn a lot and also get a perspective on Weather or Not You Should Sell eBooks in This AI Era. And if e-books should be sold then [00:43] exactly how? Let's find out everything. which niche exactly we would sell e-books ? Well, I am more interested in fitness and diets, so I wanted to sell some e-books related to that. So I [00:58] asked Claude to give me 100 low competition eBook ideas to sell via Google Ads, Facebook Ads and Pinterest Ads. And Claude gave us a long list of things you can see. And out of all these categories, I found the idea of high protein vegan recipe Kuku [01:13] quite suitable. Nowadays many people in the US have started shifting towards veganism, which is a good thing by the way. And I also saw a lot of search interest and shopping interest on this particular topic in Google Trends. By the way, [01:26] vegan means food made without non-veg and dairy products. Nothing complicated. I also checked e-books and books related to vegan recipes on Amazon and saw that those particular items were selling quite well. As You Can See If [01:39] I Open This Vegan E-Book on Amazon. And then I click on All Details and copy this sales rank and paste it into this tool. So you can see that on an average this book is getting 18 to 19 sales every single day which is [01:55] not bad at all. And as you can see there are many such books on Amazon which is a good sign. So after checking everything, we because there are healthy recipes, then vegan recipes within that, and then high [02:10] protein vegan recipes within that. But whatever it is, the results will be known only after testing. It is a fact. Well, after deciding what e-books to sell, the next thing we had to do was design an e-book with proper content and create a landing [02:25] page or sales panel on which we could sell our e-book. And finally, do marketing which platforms to check what results it gives. So the first thing we had to do was design an e-book. I decided to add [02:38] 200 tasty and high protein vegan recipes to my e-book to we decided to call Vegan 200. Why? Obviously, because we had 200 high [02:50] protein vegan recipes. Momma [music] will be so proud of you. Well, now the next thing we had to do was design our e-book. And to do that we used Can. The content of the e-book, I actually took it from an ad instead of getting it written from GPT. [03:05] Well as you can see, we bought this e-book from EdC for ₹200 or less so that we could take inspiration and create our own e-book quickly. So we already had proven content for the e-book. So now we just had to design our e-book on Cava. [03:19] So for that we quickly came to Cva and after coming to Cva, we searched book on the home page and then opened a book template like this. Then we [03:31] template like this. Then we chose the background color or in other words chose the theme of our e-book and then we asked GPT to generate an image and pasted it here like this as our e-book cover. [03:46] Why waste time designing e-book covers when we have AI ? After doing that, we wrote the title Who is this e-book for and got an introduction written using GPT and also pasted some graphics here using Canva. As You Can See. Then we completed the table of contents [04:01] section. It's not rocket science. Just the names of the recipes and their numbers. It took us four pages to cover this. As You Can See And Then Finally We Started Covering Recipes. As you can see, something like this format. First the name and number of the recipe, [04:17] then the ingredients and then the instructions. Nothing fancy. Where we could add images and graphics. There we also did As You Can See. And one by one we completed the entire e-book. It took me a total of 6 hours to [04:32] design the entire e-book. Well, after creating the e-book, we after creating the e-book, we named the Canv project S Wein 200 Ready. And then here I clicked on the share button and then clicked on the download button and [04:45] downloaded my e-book. As You Can See The final output looked something like this. At this point everything seemed fine to me. So our e-book was ready. Now the next thing we had to do was create a landing page. [04:59] We had to create a landing page like this and for that we used Hostinger Horizons. So coming to Hostinger Horizons, we simply typed this print. I'm Selling An E-Book Called Vegan 200. Where I'm Selling 200 Plus High Protein Vegan [05:15] Recipes That Are Super Easy To Prepare And Very Tasty At The Same Time. Some recipes Very Tasty At The Same Time. Some recipes have up to 63 grams of protein. I need you to create a landing page for me like TrafficSecrets.com that is very [05:31] detailed, has CTA buttons, and graphics related to my vegan eBook. Highlight benefits key points with before and after content plus illustrations and sleek images [05:43] on the landing page. After entering the PR, we created a new account on Hostinger. And then as soon as the account was created, this Horizons page opened directly on Hostinger. Where Hostinger's A automatically started creating a landing page for us. [05:57] As you can see, while this was happening, we simultaneously opened a new tab and we came straight to Gum Road where we were going to host our e-book. Selling digital products on Well Gum Road is very easy as you do [06:11] not have to integrate any payment gateway. And on top of that, creating an account on Gum Road is absolutely free. So after creating the account, the first thing we did was add our payment information. Coming to Gum Road, we clicked on this particular page and then [06:24] clicked on Payment Settings and added our information. Because without it you cannot publish products on Gum Road. For those who still don't know what Gum Road is. Well, this is the Amazon of digital products where you can sell anything. [06:37] Simple as that. Anyway, after adding the payment information, we came to Products and then we clicked on Create a Product. Then we named our e-book here Vegan 200 Plus High Protein and Tasty Vegan [06:52] Recipes. Then we put a nice cover which we had generated by AI. Then we added the price to $29 and $97 cents. We also ticked this option where customers [07:06] can pay us in installments. And As You Guys Can See customers can easily purchase our e-book [07:18] As You Guys Can See by clicking on I Want This here. So all set. After publishing the product, we copied the product link and we were back on Hostinger Horizons. As you guys can see, Hostinger created a full-fledged landing page for us [07:32] here in a very limited time. You can see how sleek and professional everything is. everything looks good. Testimonials, Key Points, Hero Section etc. This image here is just not looking good. So what did we [07:45] do? Clicked on Edit Content and then replaced it with a better image which we had created from GPT. Now everything looks very-very good as you guys can see. If I open the preview and show it to you, our landing page looked something like this. [07:59] But when we clicked on these buttons, they were taking us to gamrod.com. Not towards our product. So to fix that, we came back to Hosting and Horizons and then we gave a prompt that all the buttons should redirect to our product [08:13] link and pasted our Gum Road product link here. Horizons took a little time. And now as you can see our buttons finally started working which is pretty good. Then while checking the landing page, I suddenly [08:27] noticed that instead of 63 grams of protein, 61 grams of protein would appear on the content of this landing page. So, we came back to Hodges and we added a Q to change all the text, where it said 63 grams of protein, to 61. [08:41] And once that was done everything was looking good. So, we had to publish our landing page. And to publish, of course, we had to take a Hosting Horizons plan. So I chose the Explorer plan. You [08:57] can choose any plan according to your needs. I did not want to invest much initially so not want to invest much initially so I chose one month. We used coupon code shift10 to get extra 10% discount. And then we also added a domain [09:10] Get Vaggen 200.store which we got for just ₹99 for one year. And after doing that we paid ₹170 to Hostinger by UPI as you guys can see. And then we published our page by pressing the publish button. [09:27] Then we also connected our domain to our landing page. It was a simple process. And this was the final outcome. Our landing page looked something like this. Very very attractive and high converting at the same time. Now you [09:41] can use any software. To create your landing page. I prefer Hosting Horizons because it saves a lot of time. Please make sure you use the Hostinger link below if you are going for Horizons. Anyway, now that [09:53] our setup was complete till publishing the e-book. Now the next thing we had to do was sell our e-book. And for that we had three platforms Google Ads, Facebook Ads and Pinterest Ads. So first of all I decided [10:07] Because when I checked the CPCs of High Protein Vegan Recipes and Healthy Vegan Recipes in SCM Rush in the US, I thought this would be a good option. So all we had to do was create a Google Ads campaign. So to create a Google Ads campaign, [10:22] we came straight to the official website of Google Ads. Created my account. I already had an account so I logged in and then went to the dashboard and clicked on Create a Campaign. In the campaign objective, we [10:35] selected website traffic. Then clicked on continue. Then we selected Search Edge Campaign Type. Then we clicked on continue. We named the campaign Vegan [10:47] eBook 200. In Budding we selected Clicks and then clicked on Next. In Location we selected US as United States and in Location Options as Presence and [11:00] then we clicked on Next. Keywords We added only three. Healthy vegan recipes, vegan cookbooks and high protein vegan recipes. Then we created our ad. In the URL we put the link to our landing page. In the display path we [11:16] In the display path we put vegan recipes and in the ad headlines we put struggling with vegan meals question mark 200 healthy recipes question mark 200 healthy recipes inside. Get Vegan 200 for $29 and 97 [11:30] cents. Then we got the ad description written by GPT, chose our ad budget written by GPT, chose our ad budget at ₹880 per day and published the campaign. Simple as that. Our ad went live on the same day and we started getting impressions. [11:45] Now I intentionally added the price of the e-book as $297 cents in the ad so that people who are searching for free recipes do not click on our ad. Anyway, when I opened my Google Ads account the next day, I saw that [12:01] ₹188 was spent. We had 10 total clicks and spent. We had 10 total clicks and our CPC was very high. ₹18 our CPC was very high. ₹18 and 81. So CPC was very bad. I [12:14] thought it would be around ₹20 but this was very bad. Anyway, without minding CPC, I opened Gum Road and we were seeing zero sales in Gum Road. Well, in SCM Rush, CPC was showing around ₹10 to ₹20. I was [12:29] quite confused. So to optimize, I increased the bid limit of CPC to ₹20. But when I opened Google Ads after two days, it was [12:41] So you guys can see our money was not being spent on Google Ads. So I finally decided that instead of Google Ads, we should focus on Facebook Ads. And to run Facebook ads, first of all we had to prepare ad creatives. [12:54] I took the help of a YouTuber and agency owner named Guntaj and he took the help of a YouTuber and agency owner named Guntaj and he If you're vegan and still struggling to hit even 10g protein meal problem [13:09] vegan justing the wrong vegan foods. Most People Think Vegan Means Low Protein But That's Not True Some Vegan Meals Can Have 30 To 40 Grams Of Protein These Meals Helped Me Hit My 120 Grams Daily Protein And All Of Them Come From This Book Called Vegan 200 It [13:24] Has Over 200 Vegan Recipes With Up To 61 Grams Of Protein And It's Eating High Protein Vegan Meals So Much More If You Want To Click The Link Below. I know nothing too heavy but still work for me. So after the ad creative was ready, we [13:38] went straight to Facebook's Ads Manager and after reaching there, we clicked on Create a Campaign. Then objectively we chose traffic. Then we clicked on continue. Then we chose Manual Campaign and clicked on Continue. [13:54] and clicked on Continue. We named the campaign Vegan 200 Sales. We named the campaign Vegan 200 Sales. We set the campaign budget to ₹2,500 per day and then clicked Next. Then we did not change anything else. Just [14:07] select United States in the location. I personally always let Facebook figure things out. I just concentrate my mind on ad creatives. However, I didn't have many or extravagant ad creatives for this e-book. [14:22] results come out. I did n't even edit the placements for this particular campaign and simply clicked Next. Then we had to set up our ad. So we selected our Facebook page. Upload your ad creative by adding your landing page link and display link to Creative Source, Manual [14:37] Upload, Single Image & Video, Destination. [14:50] And then we set up our pixel on Gum Road. On Gum Road, we simply clicked on Settings, went to Third Party Analytics, and pasted our Facebook pixel code there. Like this. Then we simply reviewed our campaign and [15:04] published it. I had seen a lot of ads related to vegan recipes on Instagram, so I had some expectations from Facebook. However, my niche was quite narrow as I said earlier and the ad creative was also just one. But I was still [15:17] hopeful. Anyway, for a day or two there was no spending at all on our campaign. But then it started spending. People also started engaging positively with our ad, which was a good sign. I was busy with some other work for four-five days so [15:30] I did not check Facebook ads on daily basis. But when I came back and opened Facebook ads, I saw ₹576 ₹576 End Ads Spend. Our ad got ₹129 [15:43] impressions which was low to be honest. Half of my hopes were dashed right here. The total views on our ad were 160 and the total outbound clicks were 57 which was not very high. I opened the Gum Road dashboard and finally zero sales. [16:04] because it's part of the process. And anyway, we didn't spend too much on ad creatives or a huge budget. But to be honest, I had no time to create ad creatives for the e-book. But to be honest, I had no time to create ad creatives for the e-book. [16:17] we shifted our focus to Pinterest ads. So obviously we finally came to Pinterest. We set up our ad account. Added my billing details and started setting up my Pinterest campaign. Well, after hovering over the Business Hub, [16:32] we clicked on Create Campaign. We chose consideration based on the objective. We chose consideration based on the objective. Clicked on Create a Pin and created two static pins using ChatJPT and Canv and uploaded one video pin. It's the same one [16:47] we used for the Facebook ad. After setting up the creative, we clicked Next and published our campaign without further tinkering, published our campaign without further tinkering, at a budget of $25 per day. So yes, [16:59] we ran a Pinterest Performance Plus campaign instead of a standard campaign. And then something very interesting happened. I became very ill the day after publishing the campaign. After recovering a bit, I also posted an update on the community post, [17:12] So You Guys Can See. So we checked the Pinterest results after 8 days. First of all we checked the Pinterest results after 8 days. First of all we opened Pinterest ads and there we were seeing $78 in $59 cents spent which comes to around $743 [17:28] $146 total clicks which was solid our CPC was 0.538 which was quite good about ₹40 something we got a total of $7282 [17:40] impressions so our CPM was around $10 which was pretty good honestly I was not very excited because it had been 8 days so I directly opened Gum Road and as soon as I opened Gum Road we were seeing $11 and 20 [17:55] cents in balance in the dashboard which means we had got four total sales. I was both happy and a little curious that the four sale when it came out should be around $120. How is this revenue $101? And then when I checked, I found out that $1 and 68 cents was the Gum Road [18:12] found out that $1 and 68 cents was the Gum Road fee which comes to approximately ₹1764, approximately 10%. Many times a person becomes profitable with 10%. He was charging 10% fee. Which was crazy. Anyway, let me open the dashboard and show you. [18:25] As you guys can see for sales came. You can clearly verify. I also hit refresh on this. I can also show you by clicking on the sales tab. So you guys can see for sales and products as well by clicking on it. Again to [18:39] verify the same. As you can see on the screen, Gum Road also processed our payout on the screen, Gum Road also processed our payout which was ₹9468 and 23. Honestly, I wanted to continue it but I lacked both time and motivation. [18:53] Lack of motivation because Gum Road was charging 10% fee. Just think for yourself, if you generate revenue of $1000, then $100 will go to Gum Road and then on top of that, the conversion fee from dollar to IAR is also deducted. I would have to use my own payment [19:08] gateway like Stripe but I prefer that for my e-commerce and dropshipping businesses. And another reason was that the niche of my e-book was very narrow. I had already found out this much. I just wanted to [19:21] sell an e-book of tasty vegan recipes instead of high protein vegan recipes. Meaning, firstly a person should be vegan and after that he should also go to the gym. Then he can buy my e-book. And honestly, according to me, in this much time we could have published 10 to 15 e-books on Amazon KDP. [19:35] It would have been more profitable because one of my very close subscribers had started selling e-books on Amazon and Alok's sales had also started. So next time I will try Amazon KDP and Google Books [19:47] or else I will pick some broad niche. But if we look at it technically, if But if we look at it technically, if I neglect ₹170 hostinger fee, ₹200 ad I neglect ₹170 hostinger fee, ₹200 ad expense, ₹5700 Facebook ads and ₹180 [20:01] Google ads expense, then Pintst was technically profitable for us. then Pintst was technically profitable for us. our revenue was around ₹9400. And this is after paying a fee of around ₹1800 to Gum Road. [20:16] If I used Stripe, our fees would only be 2.9%. So technically we would have been sitting on a 35% profit. So that was The Experiment Guys. If you want to sell e-books, I have linked 500 validated, targeted, and low competition e-book ideas [20:32] sure you check it out. You can either create a lending page and sell independently like we did in this video or you can also use Amazon KDP or Google Books. If you want a tutorial for this, you can watch this video of mine. [20:46] Next time we experiment with selling e-books, we will do it on Amazon KDP only. Right now I am going to So stay tuned for that. If you have any question, the comment box is always open. And with that being said I will see [21:01] the comment box is always open. And with that being said I will see you the talk.
