[00:03] Peace be upon you, how are you? In this video, I want to talk about the dark side of the crypto market in Syria right now. This video is a warning to the many Syrians who are currently falling into this trap. currently falling into this trap. [00:18] concerned about this issue. I hope it reaches all Syrian users who are using the Syrian users who are using the crypto market, especially the B2B market where cryptocurrencies and USDT are bought and sold for Syrian pounds. This is [00:34] for Syrian pounds. This is causing harm to many people, and something causing harm to many people, and something bigger than all of us is happening – money laundering. So, follow along with this video carefully; I will [00:48] follow along with this video carefully; I will explain everything related to it in detail. I really hope you will share it so it reaches someone concerned because I will suggest solutions to concerned because I will suggest solutions to [01:02] without having to resort to banning crypto in Syria. Because if Syria. Because if crypto is only used in this way in the country, there will be no solution. The government and any official will have no choice but to [01:17] say, "No, this is prohibited," and that's it. The wind has stopped, so stay The wind has stopped, so stay with me. I'll show you the loop with me. I'll show you the loop they're operating in. These are the people [01:31] doing this, and we'll talk about everything in detail. In Syria after the liberation, there are many people—you and I Syria after the liberation, there are many people—you and I know who they are—who have a lot of money in the country, [01:44] enormous sums, millions, maybe even hundreds of millions, in millions, in various forms of assets. How are these people going to transfer their money? They fled physically, that's important, but this money—which could [02:00] fled physically, that's important, but this money—which could be real estate, cash, gold, whatever its form— be real estate, cash, gold, whatever its form— [02:16] is the only way they can transfer it out of the country, withdraw it can transfer it out of the country, withdraw it without going through the banking system. What's happening is this: In Syria right now, we have one application that most people [02:31] one application that most people use, called Sham Cash. When you create an account on this application, all you need is a need is a Syrian phone number and to upload a photo of your ID. The person who knows that it is [02:45] Syrian phone number and to upload a photo of your ID. The person who knows that it is possible for you to visit it, meaning it is not necessary to upload your real ID for them to accept you to create an account, meaning you can for them to accept you to create an account, meaning you can actually create an account with forged documents, but you [03:00] actually create an account with forged documents, but you will be asked for a phone number, and of course there are many, meaning the issue of the phone number is not a problem in Syria, you can secure numbers, so you are easily creating an account with this payment method, the only or most famous method currently in Syria, which is the [03:16] payment method, the only or most famous method currently in Syria, which is the easiest way to transfer money between easiest way to transfer money between people currently, what is happening is that these people, whom I represented here with this little devil, have money, so what are they doing? They're [03:31] little devil, have money, so what are they doing? They're creating numerous Sham Cash accounts with fake identities and names. Of course, I've created four accounts here this year, and they're making 400, 4000, and thousands of accounts are being created. They're transferring these [03:45] funds to all of these accounts. So, how are they getting the money to deposit into Sham all of these accounts. So, how are they getting the money to deposit into Sham Cash? That's what I still Cash? That's what I still have reservations about. I don't [03:58] fully understand where they're getting the funds to deposit into these accounts. The important thing is that they're depositing into many accounts, but with fake names and [04:10] forged identities. If you want to create an account on a platform like Binance, for example, to create an account on a platform like Binance, for example, to create an account, Binance has a create an account, Binance has a very strict verification system. It's [04:26] very strict verification system. It's difficult, not impossible, to bypass it to complete the KYC or verify your identity. So, these people who are creating all these Sham Cash accounts, which are only used once or twice for one or two transactions, [04:41] won't be able to create 1000 Binance accounts. That's something. Of course, but also, when you want to buy on Binance, meaning transferring this money from Sham Cash to USDT, your [04:54] transferring this money from Sham Cash to USDT, your name on Sham Cash must match the name you used to trust your Binance account. This is because the B2B transaction reveals your full name, so your Binance account must have a real name. This point is very important. These people will not be [05:12] point is very important. These people will not be able to create Binance accounts with able to create Binance accounts with fake IDs and documents because the Binance system will not accept them in 99% of cases. So what is the [05:29] Telegram groups and Telegram accounts and targeting Syrians. How is the targeting done targeting Syrians. How is the targeting done ? It's like this: you're a Syrian guy with a valid ? It's like this: you're a Syrian guy with a valid ID, your name is valid, everything's fine. They contact you to [05:42] talk to you about an account. This is the scenario I'm describing to you, I'm conveying it to you accurately. I heard this from people who experienced it. They did exactly this: the first Telegram account contacts the person and [05:57] tells them, "We're going to send you money to Sham Cash, and you need to create a Cash, and you need to create a Binance account, verify it with your ID, and create a Binance account, verify it with your ID, and create a Sham Cash account with the same name, the same ID, everything is the same. [06:12] Sham Cash account with the same name, the same ID, everything is the same. Then you go and buy on B2B, buying from merchants [06:24] After that, you return the USDT and take a commission. The person who told me this is take a commission. The person who told me this is taking a commission of 3%. So every time he taking a commission of 3%. So every time he buys 100 USDT, he gives them 97% and takes [06:40] 3% for himself. They keep repeating the process. You might ask me, what guarantees that they'll actually transfer the money to these people? Honestly, I asked him this question, and he told me, "I gave them a copy of my ID, and that's it. They're now sure I won't steal." I [06:56] said, "How can you not steal? You could easily steal from them and walk away. What would they do with a copy of your ID?" But from my deeper analysis, it seems they But from my deeper analysis, it seems they send small amounts of money— [07:10] send small amounts of money— $100, 200, 300, 500, maybe even $1000—and they don't need it. So, if one of these people scams and leaves, it's fine with them. In the end, it's just money they want to take as much as possible from QSDT and escape. [07:26] For them, this person is benefiting. They've tied people down by saying, "We gave me $1000, I took $30, now I need to go back and get the remaining $1000. I need to go back." So, if I steal the $000 now, I can't go back. I can't [07:38] continue working with them. That's how they keep people tied down. This means that since they're giving them a percentage of the money, they're essentially connecting people. [07:51] What's happening is that they're bringing in real people, ordinary Syrian youth like us, who are going to ordinary Syrian youth like us, who are going to Binance to receive Binance to receive transfers. These [08:05] Sham Cash accounts belonging to these scammers are fake accounts that are already being blocked, along with the accounts receiving the money. I'll explain this in more detail now. When the money is transferred to them, the [08:21] person immediately goes to Binance, sees the first buy order, buys it, takes the USDT, sends it to this person, takes their commission, and then sends it back again. This is how the process works. [08:33] sends it back again. This is how the process works. When the USDT reaches these people, they withdraw it out of the country easily because, as you know, there's no oversight of USDT, or crypto in general. This is one aspect. We like [08:48] crypto because it has Freedom means you own the asset you own, you can transfer it with you wherever you go, you can take it wherever you go, unlike traditional assets or banking transactions. That's why we believe in crypto, but we don't want to use crypto or for it to become the [09:06] general trend or what's happening now in the country. The country is still new. Instead of country is still new. Instead of us embracing this technology, this great thing that could benefit the country, help expats transfer their money to the country, [09:21] expats transfer their money to the country, help the country develop through easy money transfers without costs or fees, we're using it in a very, very costs or fees, we're using it in a very, very bad way. The [09:35] money's source is unknown, and these young people are being exploited because they create these accounts, complete these courses, and get USDT, and then simply give it to these [09:48] people and they run away with it. This money is leaving the country illegally. Why? Because it's country illegally. Why? Because it's possible to create possible to create Sham Cash accounts without proper verification. I don't know [10:04] Sham Cash accounts without proper verification. I don't know how the country's system works. The basic transfer, the basic money transfer or the basic electronic wallet, is where people in this country conduct transactions and transfer money between each other. There's no [10:19] proper KYC system, meaning how can you let people transact and transfer money when you don't even know who created the account? [10:32] Yes, you're verifying IDs, but ID verification takes two, three, or four months, and some people have had their IDs for a year and their accounts still aren't verified. So you can't just let anyone and everyone— for a year and their accounts still aren't verified. So you can't just let anyone and everyone— [10:49] these very bad people—create accounts on Sham Cash and very bad people—create accounts on Sham Cash and convert them illegally into cryptocurrencies convert them illegally into cryptocurrencies or other things. The point is, [11:02] I'm talking about cryptocurrencies now because it's my area of expertise. On the contrary, I expertise. On the contrary, I want my country to benefit the most from crypto technology. We don't want to be one of the backward countries [11:15] that hasn't yet embraced this era, hasn't kept up with it. I don't We understand that preventing it is the solution to break this chain. This chain is [11:31] solution to break this chain. This chain is all about transferring money illegally. all about transferring money illegally. No one should be able to deal with Sham Cash unless they No one should be able to deal with Sham Cash unless they are 100% verified. Their [11:43] account must be verified. You must know who each account holder is. Don't prevent them from using crypto; allow them to use it normally. They can buy and sell USDT or use it normally. They can buy and sell USDT or other digital currencies, profit, and invest normally. [11:57] other digital currencies, profit, and invest normally. But you must look for the source of the suspicious funds and stop them. How are you solving this? You're solving it by first investigating the [12:11] Investigate the accounts to which these suspicious people are transferring money. These people are unknowingly helping these individuals. By the way, these are poor people, people trying to make a living. They [12:25] will seize any opportunity. They are unaware of the danger of what they are doing. danger of what they are doing. Investigate the traders whose only job is to buy and sell and make a profit of pennies. Cents, [12:40] buy and sell and make a profit of pennies. Cents, knowing that this merchant and others, and those who receive transfers, and all this whole circle—the clean circle, I'm not talking about the dirty one—people are benefiting, actually benefiting the country. You're helping people. I'm an expat now, and [12:57] I know the importance of transferring your money to the country easily and at the lowest cost. You don't have any other way as easy and secure as crypto, if it's regulated, if it's [13:13] easy and secure as crypto, if it's regulated, if it's under the government's supervision. So, I under the government's supervision. So, I honestly hope this matter is looked into. Any unverified Sham Cash account should be blocked from transferring money. [13:31] Prevent it from transferring funds, prevent it from making deposits, so you can find out where these suspicious funds are coming from. Otherwise, everyone who creates an account, finishes, and immediately starts making deposits and [13:44] transferring to someone else, and that's it. The chain continues, and in the end, a real person who has nothing to do with it will be harmed, and [14:00] millions of dollars will be frozen. And what does this mean? What's the point of all this? Where will it go? We need to find a solution to this issue. Honestly, this can't be ignored. I really hope my voice gets through. I'm ready, I swear I'm ready to help in any way I [14:17] ready, I swear I'm ready to help in any way I can. If there's no can. If there's no alternative to Al-Shamsh or anyone else, then all our banking transactions, or any transactions involving money, must be handled by a reputable KYC. [14:31] involving money, must be handled by a reputable KYC. transferring even a single Syrian lira from one person to another. I know their identity, their address, their know their identity, their address, their background, everything about them. I won't allow anyone who doesn't have the money [14:46] background, everything about them. I won't allow anyone who doesn't have the money or whose identity is unknown to transfer even a single lira. With this kind of loophole, [14:58] find it all overnight. All the money of the corrupt officials, the thieves, and those who acquire their money through illicit means will have fled the thieves, and those who acquire their money through illicit means will have fled the [15:10] think that with this approach you can... When you freeze accounts here and there, you're not freeze accounts here and there, you're not solving the problem, are you? Thank you so much. That's all I wanted to say about this issue. If you have any [15:28] suggestions, especially from those of you following me, please write them in the comments below. I hope you'll share the video so my voice can be heard. Peace be upon you.
