season 3. Welcome back ScreenCrush. I'm Ryan Arey and we here at ScreenCrush best adaptations of these classic DC characters, not to mention some killer
animation. So, the show starts off with a young Clark Kent playing in his yard. Now, at this point Clark doesn't yet have his powers, but when a car swerves sprints to stop the car from crashing. You'll notice that every time Clark
learns a new power they develop out of his need to help people, emphasizing heritage. After first developing his powers, the Kents then explain his down on their farm and when they dig up the platform a hologram of Jor-El,
Kryptonian, but Clark is too freaked out by all of this to want to explore this >> And then we get a big time skip to a now fully grown Clark Kent living in
for their first day as interns at the Daily Planet. We're also introduced to newest story to their boss Perry. And even though Clark is now well developed

dock. And there we meet a woman that Clark spotted earlier, Livewire, aka trio, so Clark has to discreetly save Lois and Jimmy. And during the fight, evade being found out by Jimmy and Lois. Now, although Jimmy does get a blurry

to protect the people against outside forces like the Kryptonians. Now, when Clark doesn't respond to his goading, >> passing yourself off as a hero when we both know what you are, a weapon. >> The General then begins to rethink his
assumptions. >> If his people age like us, he's too beginning to think that an alien is anything but bad. To get back at the General for having cold feet, Waller shuts down the cell block, allowing
Livewire to escape and releasing the other prisoners. Ivo attacks Superman in Parasite, escape the facility. After being shown the horrors of Zero Day, that. >> You're not a weapon, you're a person.
>> Siphoning off the power grid, an escaped Parasite is able to grow to the size of but Ivo is just too powerful. Lois and Jimmy then step in and use social media to tell the citizens of Metropolis to turn off all of their power, weakening
Parasite suit and is able to take him down. Back at the Task Force base, because of his lack of action towards Superman. In order to prove himself to
his superiors, the General is given the ultimate task, kill Superman. Waller gives him the newest weapon invented in order to complete his mission, the Omega Cannon, aka a Kryptonite gun. Clark begins having nightmares about another
Smallville to confront the hologram of Jor-El about the invasion. >> You tried to conquer this planet, my home. I won't let that happen, ever. >> Jimmy, Lois, and Clark all go over to the Kents for a nice Thanksgiving. This

lab. They meet a disgraced former lab assistant of Dr. Ivo named Alex. Because lab, they interview Hank Henshaw about a meteorite that disappeared over he has to leave. >> Uh uh sorry, got to go. Uh
>> The trio then head to Antarctica where Clark gets another vision of his father. He chases after him and finds himself within the Kryptonian ship. During all Jor-El is able to connect with Clark. He then explains Clark's origins. Krypton

you'll forgive me for leaving you again. >> In the background, Task Force X has holding Sam prisoner. Following the recent encounter with Superman, Amanda Waller goes to interrogate Sam. When Clark and Lois arrive at Stryker's, Lois
plans to sneak in but Clark just burst their way in through a window. They find a completely empty prison wing save for a secret elevator. Lois, once again, is >> Wow, you really like jumping off things. >> Because I know you'll always catch me,
the hidden Task Force X base. In the computer room, Lois finds where her dad is being held prisoner, and Clark sees the beacon is there as well. While full of inmates who have been experimented on. They are cornered by
Waller and the Atomic Skull, who attacks Superman as the Lanes help the prisoners the group. Sam tells Lois that he should go into hiding, but Lois suggests Jimmy. >> Meanwhile, Alex offers his assistance to

Symposium. Jimmy and Clark leave for the symposium while Lois visits the compromised, but they are quickly attacked by Damage and have to escape
symposium's main topic, the Superman problem. Jimmy, being Superman's best friend, was picked to talk in favor of Superman against Lex Luthor. The two have a heated debate back-to-back leading to Lex declaring, "I say it's

managed to reach Brainiac's ship. Kara, however, is incapacitated when Brainiac uses her codeword. He then reveals that he was the one who destroyed Krypton after he overheard talks of the Kryptonians shutting him down. The AI
obsolete. Brainiac gives Superman the choice, either save Kara or save Metropolis. Superman, being Superman, does both. He embraces Kara rather than You are stronger than he is. >> Together, the two of them defeat
