[00:41] with that being said, this is not a get-rich quick scheme. I'm not here promising anything crazy like you're going to go from zero to 10K a month in this video is for you to start making your first sales online. That's the
[00:54] goal. And we want to do this in a very very beginner friendly way using organic first couple sales, if you like the business model, if you like the scale it, which obviously based on how I scaled it to $2.2 million, we know it's
[01:09] I'm promising here. All right, so we'll be focusing on what I consider to be the best digital product to sell right now, which are ebooks. So the reason why I super easy to create. It has very high demand, and it's a huge industry. So the
[01:23] entire business model comes down to this. Once again, it's super simple, just three steps, which are number one, find something people already buy. Number two, create a simpler version of it. And number three, put it where
[01:36] buyers already are. So step one is a very simple yes or no question. Are people already buying books on this topic on Amazon? Which is step one. So buy, right? We're not coming up with a brand new book topic just because we
[01:50] think it's cool. We're going off of data. So we will come up with book topics, right? Based on whatever interests us or our passion, hobbies, then don't just start creating a book on it. We're going to take that, go to
[02:02] Amazon, look up those topics, and we will look for books already selling on already selling, that means the topic is profitable. That is all we're doing just manually. You can also just use chubby and give you some ideas. So I
[02:16] asked Chajibid, give me 50 trending book topic ideas I can write about. And just like that, we got mind, mental health, and self-improvement like nervous system regulation, dopamine detox, digital minimalism. These are all topic ideas
[02:28] career, and skills, AI, tech, and modern skills, lifestyle, decluttering, clarity. We can definitely check that. Letting go of emotional clutter, relationship, and so much more. So, let's go and search decluttering on
[02:41] taking these topics, and we want to go to Amazon, sort by books, paste it. This is the results we get. As you can see, I got a couple tools that you guys do not brand new and doing this, like I have a tool called Bookbeam that tells me
[02:55] exactly the best sellers rank for this book and also how much these books are profitable. But if you're brand new doing this, you don't have these tools tool. If you do want to check it out, the link is in the description. But all
[03:07] these books up and you get to the product page. You scroll down to where Once you get to the product details, it says the bestsellers rank 1,039 in
[03:19] Amazon is Amazon literally tells you how well the product is selling based on the is essentially the sales rank compared to other books, right? So, this is 1,000 1,00 selling book in the entire
[03:34] Generally speaking, we want to look for a book with a number that's below 80,000 BSR because if it's around 80,000, it's doing like 500 bucks a month on average, like a good guess. So, that is a pretty good benchmark to aim for if it's doing
[03:49] 500 bucks a month. If it's a lot lower than 80,000, like this one, it's doing a this case, lower the better. Like this one is 1,000, which is way lower than 80,000. So, that's why it's doing like 1 to 2k a day. 30 to 60k a month just from
[04:03] this one book. Same as this book is doing well, making a couple thousand a decluttering is a profitable topic just because there are other books on the topic already selling. So this is how we can find proof before we start creating
[04:15] will sell. You can definitely write about your passion if you want to, but you also want to check that topic and make sure that it has demand as well. If passionate about that's also profitable and shows demand, that would be the
[04:27] you're trying to make money, obviously go for what has demand. So that was step number one. Super simple, right? So now we move on to step two, which is to make a simpler version of it. Now when I say make a simpler version, I'm not saying a
[04:40] crappier version. I'm not saying you should go and spam a bunch of garbage on with non-fiction books, right, people buy to solve a problem. If you can solve the problem with a shorter book compared to reading a 500page book, sometimes
[04:54] right? Because the value is in solving the problem, not how long it takes to takes. It's not about that. So, if you can position your product right, shorter books still sells very well. So, this is a one-day project. I don't want people
[05:08] because this is your very first book, right? So, we're not trying to create a masterpiece, maybe you can do it in the future, but for now, we're just trying to get started, trying to make our first couple sales online. Our goal in that
[05:21] book should be to solve one problem clearly, okay? And the recommended length for this is about 10,000 words, which is very, very doable writing this little bit longer for you, depending on your circumstances, that's completely
[05:34] want to overthink this. So going back to traje over here as I said earlier people buy non-fiction books to solve a problem. So the first thing we need to painoint right that people have. Why are they buying this book? So I literally
[05:48] decluttering. What is the biggest problem I can solve for the reader in this book? And Chad gave me a suggestion on the biggest problem you can solve. They feel mentally overwhelmed and stuck and clutter is a constant trigger but
[06:01] finish without burning out. And a little bit more information here. Next, in the same conversation, I just follow up with based on this, can you create a detailed book outline for a 10,000word book that solves this exact problem for the
[06:15] reader? And just like that, Chadi came up with a full outline, right? We got a introduction with the suggested word count, the goal of the introduction as well as the subtopics to cover inside. So, the real problem isn't the clutter,
[06:28] book does differently, how to use this book, right? And then we go into chapter one, chapter two, chapter three, even the exercises to include inside all the very cool. Obviously, we don't want to rely on AI 100%. If you feel like you
[06:43] definitely do so. But AI is an amazing way to get the first draft of the book to really speed up the process. So, the cool part about this is that the outline suggests the word count inside, right? So, it makes the writing a lot easier.
[06:56] to generate the introduction or generate part two, right? Chapter three, the conclusion, you know, section by the word count and the outline because I want it to be a total of 10,000 words. I
[07:11] it longer in this case. So just like that, we have the introduction chapter. home, looked around, and felt an immediate sense of heaviness, you're not just the stuff. It's the mental noise that comes with it. and so on and so
[07:25] forth which is a very nice written introduction. Obviously edit it from here, right? We don't want to just copy paste, copy paste, done. You know, a lot you can just copy paste from AI and sell it for like a hundred bucks. That's
[07:38] crazy, guys. Yes, you can make money from this business model, but that is a little bit too much. So, what you want to do is to use AI as a tool, okay? Work with AI, improve the product from here by adding your personal touch to it. But
[07:50] wrong with using AI. Amazon's accepting AI. There's a lot of AI books that my students are putting out on Amazon that are absolutely crushing it. So, this works. It's just that you don't want to be lazy. And even without being lazy,
[08:03] book within a day, you know, or just a couple days if it takes you longer. So, continue doing that. Generate the draft, edit it, and you can compile it into a Google doc. Next, we can go and come up with title suggestions. So, I said to
[08:16] give me 20 title suggestions for this book. Add the keyword decluttering in you that whatever topic you're in, it's good to add that keyword in the book here. It'll rank on Amazon way better because Amazon does have SEO as well. By
[08:32] discoverable for people who search for that keyword. So, I want the keyword we have decluttering without overwhelm. A simple system to clear your space and simple, decluttering for overwhelmed people, and a lot more ideas. So we can
[08:46] generating new ideas come up with our own. Whatever you want to do that's fine but pick the one you like the best. So realistically this should take you like few hours max to get to 10,000 words. But if you want to go longer than 10,000
[08:59] longer than that that's completely fine. Again focusing on quality and making a better of an approach and way better of a mindset than oh let's just you know
[09:11] and capitalize on this. Right? So, if you want to do that, I respect it. Definitely do so. But when you're happy with it, we can move on. And now we can real name. So, if you want to use your real name, if you want to come up with a
[09:24] completely fine. The beauty of this business is that you never have to show your face ever. You can be completely anonymous and you can make a lot of money online doing this, right? No one will know who you are because all your
[09:37] can really crush it with this. We have a lot of students doing exactly that. So, It doesn't matter, okay? Both are allowed. Once again, pen names are super common in the publishing space. Like JK Rowling from Harry Potter, that's a pen
[09:50] it. Don't overthink branding at this point. Really not important. The next thing we want to do is to format our book so that it's ready to be published. on that. If I put it in this video, it'll be a little bit too long. So, I'll
[10:04] description. You guys can go and watch that. It's a very simple step-by-step tutorial. So, definitely go and follow that. And this is the last step in terms step. So, we're creating our book cover. So, for this starter book, I recommend
[10:17] simple. Make sure the design of the book cover is also simple, clean, and perfect. We're just trying to get started, okay? And this is a completely free way of creating a book cover that anyone can really do. So, once again, I
[10:30] I'll also leave a link to this in the description. But just to kind of quickly show you how simple this can be. All we got to do go to Canva, go to templates over here, and we just search for book cover. And we have a bunch that we can
[10:43] crown, you need a Canva Pro account, but the ones without it are all free that we choose something that kind of matches the vibe of decluttering. All of these looks kind of like a fiction cover. So, what I'm going to do, I'm going to
[10:56] change the category to book cover. And I search for minimalism. And these are By the way, I literally saw this book on Amazon. Somebody use this book cover and for them. All right, so we're done with step two and now we move on to step
[11:10] three, which is to put it where the buyers already are. And in my opinion, this is such a common sense thing that I just don't understand why other YouTube gurus that talk about digital products don't recommend this. But basically,
[11:22] of trying to get people to come to you, you just put the product where people are already buying, which is Amazon. You just upload the book on Amazon because you watching this, right? When you think about buying books, what's the first
[11:36] Amazon, right? Especially if you live in the US. So, most people buy books on Amazon. Amazon has built-in traffic, to Amazon every single day with credit cards on their Amazon customer account
[11:51] already linked, right? Ready to buy, and they're all looking for the next book to purchase. So, not only can you tap in to that by being on Amazon, on top of that, because you're on Amazon, right? Amazon is a website. So, you don't have to
[12:05] also don't need to do inventory, right? You don't have to do fulfillment. Once you make a sale, Amazon automatically sends your book to the customer. So, you well. Even if the customer has questions, if they have refund
[12:17] questions, this and that. All of those customer service is handled by Amazon, handles everything. So, this is why I say this is literally the most beginner-friendly business model out there. I truly stand by that. So, in
[12:29] terms of how to get your book on Amazon and officially become a published have to do is follow the step-by-step tutorial that I have once again in the description. It's just a 10-minute tutorial. The video is 10 minutes. If
[12:42] take you like 20, 30 minutes, right, max, to upload your book on Amazon. What's going to happen after that is your book will be reviewed by Amazon and approved within 24 to 72 hours. So that's one, two, three days, right? And
[12:55] Amazon. You can start bragging about being a published author, but on top of that, Amazon is so big that the chances are pretty high that you will start getting organic sales. Now, it's not going to be a lot of sales. Again, this
[13:08] is not a zero to 10K per month tutorial. This is a zero to make your first money to scale this, obviously that is possible as well. And by the way, I just want to add that I hope everyone understands that I cannot guarantee that
[13:22] every single person watching this doing this will make a sale right on Amazon experience, the chances are pretty high. But I don't control Amazon. I don't own so I cannot guarantee anything. With that being said though, this is exactly
[13:36] how I made $2.2 million so far. I'm still publishing, right? I still have my that continues to sell and continues to make me more money month after month. I documented my entire journey into a playlist called the KDP Income Reports

[14:21] But what I want to say here is that unlike other e-commerce type businesses where people flex their sales number when their profit margin is like way smaller, right? With this business model, what you see on the dashboard
[14:35] the bank account. So this is the actual royalties that you get paid after Amazon takes their cut. So, with this process that you just completed, the win that we're going for is to make our first couple sale online. As I said a few
[14:48] times already, once you have that, take that as a win, right? That is proof that and it can be a lot simpler than you think. So, I just showed you literally the simplest way to get started selling digital products online. But, if you
[15:02] want to scale this, this exact business model has the potential to do so, like I showed you earlier. Keep in mind scaling is literally just doing the same thing over and over and over but better and faster. So there are many ways to scale
[15:14] but these are the best ones. Number one create better books right in more longer a little bit more high quality but the process itself is very very similar. Number two create more books right the more books you publish the
[15:27] you can start outsourcing the book production process by hiring team performing well. You can also expand into different formats. Not just doing ebooks, but you can do paperback, audiobook, hard coverver. Those formats
