## Summary

In this podcast episode, the hosts discuss recent World of Warcraft community controversies, including a viral tweet about parents being banned from Mythic+ runs and a streamer falsely reporting a player for child abuse. They also review the new zone 'Val', share feedback on the 'Omnomnom Folio' system, and praise the revamped Midsummer Fire Festival quests.

### Key Points

- **Discourse on Parents in Mythic+** [7:15] — A Twitter post argued that parents who join Mythic+ runs should be permanently banned, sparking debate. The hosts criticize the logic, noting that similar arguments could exclude anyone with responsibilities, and highlight the absurdity of reporting someone for child abuse when they left to care for their child.
- **Val Zone Review** [16:00] — The new zone 'Val' is described as having good story-telling and world-building elements, but lacks repeatable content. The hosts appreciate its atmospheric design and underground areas but feel it falls short compared to 'Nagal' in terms of ongoing engagement.
- **Omnomnom Folio Feedback** [25:00] — The 'Omnomnom Folio' is criticized for providing negligible power increases (less than 1% of damage/healing). The hosts express disappointment, calling the system 'silly' and 'uselessly incremental.'
- **Midsummer Fire Festival Praise** [45:30] — The revamped Midsummer Fire Festival is highly praised for its engaging quests, wind tunnels, and storytelling. The hosts note it takes about 30 minutes to complete and offers a rewarding experience with tokens and lore.

### Conclusion

The podcast covers diverse WoW community sentiments, from frustrations with the Val zone and Omnomnom Folio to appreciation for the Midsummer Fire Festival revamp. The core takeaway is the ongoing tension between casual and hardcore players, highlighted by the Mythic+ parenting debate.

## Transcript

Hello internet. My name is Tal Essen
>> and I'm Evel
>> and welcome to a WOW podcast. Obviously,
episode number
>> 76.
>> 76. I don't know why I even bother
asking anymore because it's a good
number. [laughter]
>> It's not like I'm going to catch you
out.
>> Well, we have to we have to get to like
to the good numbers again. We need the
fun numbers. [laughter]
What's next?
>> Ladies and gentlemen, welcome. We are
here. Let's go.
>> Oh, and on today's podcast, we are going
to be talking about what players are
unhappy about right now. And there's
loads of it. Okay. We're going to be
talking Camelot.
>> Yes.
>> We're going to be talking Zuljan.
>> We're going to be talking Wowhead.
>> And of course, we're going to be talking
patch 12.0.7 revelations and all the
revelations in there. Tell you what,
>> there's a lot to talk about. You can't
enjoy the new zone Val with its snowy
goodness and its its beautiful icy cold
feels. If you can't enjoy that right
now,
>> then you're never going to enjoy it.
>> No, it's as simple as that, right? You
know, like if you can't go into that
zone and be like, "Oh, actually, you
know, oh, that's kind of helping.
Actually, that's kind of good." Uh then
b you're screwed. You're never going to
enjoy it. It's as simple as that. Hands
up in the chat if you are enjoying Valve
New Zone. Um, and if you're looking
forward to what we're going to be
talking about on the podcast today from
Sunny Sunny Swansea, if you hear any
noises of fans in the background, tough
titty. Um, tell us sounds like it's
getting picked up from a different mic.
Oh. Oh. Oh. Okay. I think I just need to
turn myself up a bit there.
>> There you go. Crank yourself up, baby.
>> In this heat. Yeah. You may notice.
>> Yeah. Is that Is that a Hopefully that's
a little bit better. Maybe [laughter]
I'll check it. Hang on. Hang on. You You
keep talking. You may notice that uh it
is we are looking particularly shiny. Uh
in case you haven't seen the news,
there's a bit of a heat wave going on in
the UK uh at the moment. Uh which is
increasing the level of shine, which is
increasing fan uh noise as well. Uh so
yeah, but uh so I'm not actually looking
at my PC right now. I cannot bear to
turn on another giant machine. So I'll
be reading chat on my laptop in front of
me, which is why I'm looking down as I
melt.
>> [laughter]
>> Yeah, I just meant like talk about uh
super chats and stuff like that, but
that's cool too.
>> That's super chat. Absolutely. I meant
like you show stuff really just like
shoot the [ __ ] But that's cool.
>> You don't want to You don't want to talk
about my hair? I think my hair is
looking quite
>> You were very upset with your hair when
you got it done. [snorts]
>> I I was
>> You You were moody for like a day and a
half
>> and the sun came out and it made it and
it made it the right color. Anyway,
>> Taling got older. It's true. Every time
I [ __ ] your mom, I get a line on my
face. Whoa.
[laughter]
[clears throat]
>> God. Going to have to edit that out of
the auto audio version.
>> No, you're not. What are you talking
about? [laughter]
>> Anyway, um should you like Tally to
continue saying things like that or if
you'd like [laughter] us to talk about,
you know, you're very, you know, some
people are just into that kind of thing.
Uh please feel free to drop us a super
chat if you're watching on YouTube. Um
we will go through those uh towards the
end of today's show. Uh, drop us your
thoughts, your comments, your questions,
your anything you want to tell us. Uh,
throw them in there. So, uh, yeah, I
look forward to seeing those at the end
of the show today.
>> Yeah. Uh, looking forward to it. Yes.
Make us talk about whatever you want.
Uh, if you just want to kind of be like,
yo, um, why are you complaining so much
about the heat? Just get air
conditioning. I live in like Texas or
whatever where it's way hotter. Yeah.
>> Um, and you know, I get out of my air
conditioned into my air conditioned car
where I drive for an hour to my air
conditioned and then, you know, I might
stop off in the like um Starbucks
drive-thru on my way home
to in my air conditioned house again
playing WoW. And I'm hardly hot at all,
man. So, like, what is what's wrong with
you guys? [laughter]
>> Yeah, exactly. Um, you've probably heard
it already, but yeah, the the UK is it's
built different. It's not quite built
for uh heat waves. So, we get like three
days a year, I'd say, which are kind of
unbearable, increasing every year.
>> And also, air conditioning didn't exist
in uh Victorian times when most of our
houses were built. Um, so it's, you
know, they they're brick houses. They
don't have like hollow walls and stuff
and and they're kind of they're just
they're just, you know, I guess you
could retrofit them with air
conditioning, but it would be a lot of
effort.
>> Exactly. For for just a few days. And to
be fair, downstairs is kind of nice.
Downstairs feels like a little cellar.
Uh upstairs where the office is,
[laughter]
that's the maximum heat exposure we're
getting.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Because we're right
underneath the roof here and our roof is
currently um uninsulated. So when when
the heat bangs down on it, it gets very
very hot indeed. So uh yeah, so excuse
that if we are glistening, and I know we
are. Gosh, I know I am. Been glisting
all day. Uh you know, I'm wearing linen
shirts with buttons undone. We're
looking pretty sexy, I reckon.
>> I I actually, you know what? Not too
bad. I don't know if you guys caught our
our photos over on like Instagram and uh
Twitter, but Tally took his socks off
yesterday. It was kind of crazy.
>> Excuse me. I'm not wearing socks right
now. I haven't worn socks all week. Are
you kidding me? I wear socks down the
beach, right? Because like, you know, I
like it when I come out the sea and I
and I've got sandy feet and stuff and I
dry my feet and I get rid of the sand.
There's something really lovely about
putting on a clean pair of socks after
the beach, you know, after you've been
walking around barefoot and you've been
kind of, you know, getting sand in
between your toes and things like that.
I think it's actually really lovely to
to do that. Um, and that feeling of
socks. So, yeah, I take my socks down
the beach. get over it. But uh I I don't
wear them generally otherwise at the
moment. Yeah. [clears throat]
>> I just posted a photo of you sitting
outside on uh in our garden like in the
heat wearing socks and everyone's like,
"Why is that man wearing socks?"
>> Oh, right. Yeah, sure. I mean, okay.
Okay.
>> It became a bit of a discourse.
>> That's fair enough. You're allowed to
make fun of me. That's okay. Just don't
make fun of my wife. [laughter]
>> Exactly. Um, especially especially if
she has to leave a mythic plus key to go
look after her children.
>> Speaking of people who aren't very happy
in the World of Warcraft, now I
deliberated long and hard about whether
to talk about this on the show because
it has been one of the main discourses
of the week and I wasn't going to
because it's kind of impossible not to
name and shame and I don't like doing
that. I don't like, you know, I don't
want anyone to get any flak because
we've talked about something on the
podcast or something like that. But then
I learned something which made me go,
"Oh, [ __ ] it. Who cares? Let's talk
about it." Um, so I don't know if you've
seen this, uh, but one of the main
discourses of the week on social media
for World of Warcraft, and don't worry,
we'll get into like real life
in just a moment. Was a I see if I can
get rid of the name. There we go. Yeah.
Uh, was a
Twitter post which has um Oh, hang on.
Oh no.
Oh no.
>> Where's R bring that back. Where's that
gone?
>> What's that?
>> Oh no.
>> Oh no.
>> Oh, it's not going to show. Malfunction.
>> Do you know this happened on stream the
other day, actually? Yeah. Yeah. Uh
>> wait a minute. I'm just going to have to
>> Okay, just do it. Just do it manually.
Um someone in chat is asking about
Speaking of asking about schools. It is
so hot. They have closed the schools.
Yeah,
>> it's literally a heat emergency. Like we
it's your responsibility to make sure
that your children drink enough water
today.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Seriously.
>> It's like uh that we can No, we do not
accept liability for that.
>> Okay. So, I'm not going to have it on
No, actually, I do need to sort this out
because I want to throw stuff on screen.
>> Oh, yeah. Absolutely.
>> Maybe you can describe uh what happened,
Evie, while I'm while I'm getting it on
screen. Uh, so, uh, in case you missed
it, there was a a bit of a discourse
going around, uh, in which someone
tweeted, you know, I'm going to pull it
up right now so I can I can relay it to
you faithfully and accurately.
>> Oh, I got it. I got it. You got it. Well
done.
>> Sorry about that. Okay. If you are
pregnant and you join a Mythic Plus, he
was a man, so I'm doing a man voice as
you can tell.
>> If you're a parent, sorry, that's the
>> If you're a parent and you join a Mythic
Plus run, you deserve to be permanently
banned. Let's just sit on that for a
second.
>> Yeah. Okay. Um, that means that means if
Chris Metson joins a Mythic Plus run, he
deserves to be permanently banned
because I know for a fact he's a parent.
Uh, like if Donald Trump joins a Mythic
Plus run, he deserves to be permanently
banned because he's a parent.
>> Now, when I first heard this, I was
like, okay, a little bit of hyperbole on
Twitter. We've all been there, right? A
little bit of exaggeration, but no,
>> there's more. And, you know, maybe I'd
like to know your views on this as well.
That's why I'm bringing it up because I
love a discourse, right? And it's
something that has affected us
personally a couple of years ago as well
because I remember this exact thing
happening to us. So, uh maybe in
retrospect, you should be permanently
banned Evie.
>> I think I should.
>> Um
>> this person went AFK because their baby
woke up and since they were solely
responsible for it, they abandoned us
for and we ended up breaking the stone.
Wow. That must be a Spanish turn of
phrase Spanish. Breaking the stone. Not
killing the key. Breaking the stone.
>> Just some auto translate going on there.
Can Can we find uh like other
anacronisms for what people call killing
a key like in different languages and
making a t-shirt of it with all
different translations of killing the
key? I just think that would be very
cool. And then a picture of a baby at
the bottom.
>> Of course,
>> picture the baby like I did it. This was
me. I made this. [laughter]
You're probably thinking, I'm
exaggerating, right? Let's look at it
from another perspective. Imagine you
have to leave in 15 minutes, go to to go
to work if you don't want to be late.
Would you join a dungeon that lasts at
least 35 minutes? Probably not, because
even in the best case scenario, you're
likely to have to abandon the group.
Well, the case with your child is
exactly the same.
If you're alone with the responsibility
of the baby, you cannot commit to 35
minutes with four other people because
there's a chance you'll have to abandon
them. So, according to your logic, as
long as Sorry, now he's doing a voice or
something. So, according to your logic,
as long as I'm alone taking care of my
child, it means I can never play
competitively competitively in Well, I'm
I'm going to do the voice as I think he
he hears it.
>> Yeah.
>> So, according to your logic, as long as
I'm alone taking care of my child, it
means I can never play competitively in
a group correct. I'm glad you got it.
>> Oh,
>> now, no judgment. You can you can
probably guess where we're coming from
on the judgment scale here by how we've
been talking about it already. But no
judgment to people in this chat because
people in this chat are very very cool
and nice.
>> Yeah.
>> Uh oh, there's a picture of the uh the
thing here as well. Um
>> what are your views on this? Because you
know to a certain extent, let's be
reasonable and fair here. Man has a
point. Like you shouldn't be committing
to keys. And this was a plus 17 by the
way. So, I [laughter] mean I mean I
hardly what I describe as competitive
key in this day and age, but okay, it's
a plus 17. That's like in the serious
level. I'm sure he marked it as
competitive and things like that. So,
you know, assuming assuming it was a
competitive labeled key and not a
relaxed labeled key,
uh was this person in the wrong? And you
know, should should you like what what
do you think of his example first of
all, I guess, about joining a key when
you know you've only got 15 minutes
before you have to leave for work.
>> Yeah. I mean, it's kind of funny because
leaving for work in 15 minutes and
having an actual child that you look
after 24/7 is kind of a, you know, it
doesn't really line up. You know, you
know that you're leaving for work in 15
minutes. You don't know if your child's
going to wake up from a nap in 15
minutes.
>> You know they might. Yeah. Well, then in
that by that logic, yeah, I you know,
you follow this guy's logic to the end.
That means you should never do a key
because nursery might call. Correct.
>> I'm glad you got it.
>> Exactly. Nursery might call and send
them home. Even if you have daycare, if
they're with your granny, the they might
die and you might have to go and pick
them up like you have to bother if they
die.
>> Well, yeah. Well, no, the granny might
on her, [laughter]
>> you know, and it's like, ah, right. Um,
that's Yeah. And so yeah, of course, if
you follow this person's logic to the
end, it means no one uh with children
should ever do keys.
>> Well, I mean, you don't have to follow
to an end. That's that's exactly what
he's saying.
>> Yeah. Exact. Exactly. But if I push this
a little further, um I would go and say
that like if you're a human being who
has normal bodily functions and has to
[ __ ] I would argue you also should
never do a key because you never know
>> you might need a [ __ ]
>> when you might need a [ __ ] You might be
one of those people.
>> You might have you might have an
aneurysm. You might be one of those
people who knows 15 minutes in advance,
and I know you're out there.
>> If you're relying on an electricity
grid,
>> you know, then um then then it might cut
off. If you're in America, it's very
likely that your internet is going to
cut off.
>> Yeah.
>> So, I mean,
>> it's it's extremely likely if you live
in a society, you are not allowed to do
keys because something might happen,
>> right?
>> Yeah.
>> That and it's like uh I and I, you know,
and Exactly. Like it sucks. It sucks
when you when you break a key. That's a
bad feeling.
>> Okay. So So [laughter]
I I agree with you implicitly. I'm just
trying to like devil's advocate a little
bit, you know, because of the discourse
cuz believe it or not, there are some
people that agree with this. And like I
say, maybe there are people um in in the
chat do and like I say, no shade if
that's what you believe. That's
absolutely fine because I think I think
it is a valid topic for debate. I myself
have been a member of a key group
>> where the key got bricked because some
unthoughtful,
uncaring,
unprofessional
hunter
>> had to go and look after the baby cuz it
woke up in the middle of the key. And
you know, you could argue maybe I should
have done that cuz it was also my baby
and I was in exactly the same room at
the same time. But I was healing and we
thought that we could probably do
without the the [laughter] hunter a
little bit more. So Evie had to go and
get the baby and I didn't have to. Okay.
So, you know, but I knew So, here's the
thing. Here's why. I was I I was okay in
that situation cuz I knew that you would
have to go and get the baby if it woke
up. SO, I WAS FINE to join that key, but
it was you, Evie. It was you that
shouldn't have joined it.
>> Correct. I'm glad you got it.
>> Yeah.
[laughter]
>> That's why I play healer. A so I don't
have to bother with interrupts. And B,
so I don't have to bother with being
interrupted by babies.
>> [laughter]
>> But, you know, like I I feel like I
don't think anyone who's ever been a
parent
>> would have written this. It's as simple
as that. And and the person who wrote
this, if you have been a parent,
apologies. And I don't want to pull the
parent card, okay? I don't want to do
that thing like, well, people who don't
have kids don't understand. They don't
have to understand to know that their
keys been ripped, right? But there's
that thing of like most of the time that
baby probably sleeps a certain amount of
time at a certain time of the day and
you're like, you know, well, I've done
all the washing up. I've done all the
cleaning. I've done all the things I
desperately do when this uh kid is
sleeping
>> and I've got, you know, according to
usual routines about an hour.
>> Sounds like time for the one key I can
do this week, right?
>> I remember those days.
>> I'll do a I'll do a nice low key that
any old scrub can do. 17 and let's rock
it, you know.
>> Um, so, uh, and also
>> even if it does annoy you and even if
you do think it's bad, you must know
you're going to get your ass handed to
you if you go and write this.
>> No, the the lack of for
even if you hate brown people, right, we
can't do anything about that. Don't go
on the internet and say it.
>> You're going to get [ __ ] right? I'm not
saying this person hates brown people.
>> Do go on the internet. This person
doesn't unless they've got babies and
are trying to run keys with them, in
which case, you know,
>> that's it. Okay. Um, I'm not saying this
person hates babies of other races,
unless they wake up when someone in
their key is is trying to trying to do
the key with him, in which case they do,
but not nothing to do with race, right?
But so what I'm saying [laughter] is you
It's one of those things where, you
know, you're going to get your [ __ ]
[ __ ]
>> pushed back in by the internet on this
one.
>> [ __ ] pushed [laughter] back.
>> Yeah. like the internet is going to take
one look at your [ __ ] and push it right
back in on this one.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Um and I'm also a bit you know
what the the fact that someone thought
it was cool to just put this out there.
Listen, I'm I'm uh I'm an old-timer.
I've seen stuff on the internet and I
understand that like there is no
threshold anymore for people saying
dumbass [ __ ] Um so in a way I wasn't
surprised. I was quite a bit
disappointed in the people who were like
well he's got a point. It's like
>> I'm going to assume I'm going to assume
that this guy
>> uh had posted his group as a competitive
group and not as a relaxed group. Okay,
maybe maybe someone can correct me. Now
>> I have checked his stream
>> but only only for to check something
else, right? Um so I feel like you know
if this was a relaxed key then this guy
hasn't got a leg to stand on basically,
right? But if it was if it was
competitive, then I would say that
actually, you know, kind of on the
parent here to to make sure you're
applying to relaxed keys, you know, if
if if you're if you're there looking
after your kids and I I would be
applying to relaxed keys. I only apply
to relaxed keys anyway to be honest
because you know
>> as as is well known I'm like 100%
uh the reason I only apply to relaxed
keys is because I love it when someone
starts getting a bit angry or annoyed
just typing in chat
>> well that's not very relaxed of you it's
just my favorite thing and it only works
if I do relaxed he right so and it
always gets a laugh it always breaks the
tension it always like you know wins the
argument right and then just like well
that's not very relaxed
and everything is cool again. And I just
think that's really great and I love
that. So I especially now I'm tanking as
well. I'm doing um plus 10s on my on my
paladin now.
>> Um and uh yeah, I would I I don't know
the roots, right? I I hit which ones are
lit up
>> cuz [laughter] I've got that setting on
>> and that's it. I don't know the pulls. I
don't know the roots. Sometimes it
annoys people. So I only do relaxed
keys, right? You know. Um and uh yeah.
So I I yeah in that case I would say
still not doesn't deserve the the [ __ ]
this poster is trying to give the parent
but you know I yeah maybe maybe look at
relaxed keys in the future that that
function exists.
>> Yeah
>> that's that's the mostly way I can give
this poster in terms of agreeing with
him.
>> Sure. Sure.
>> So I don't care about this. So
>> you know maybe maybe be like hey uh FYI
I might be interrupted at some point.
>> Mhm. you know, maybe just comm you know,
you can you can also choose
>> you just get instick from the key if you
did that even on the relaxed to be to be
fair. So, I can see why you wouldn't do
that.
>> Okay, that's also possible.
>> Yeah, like I I I I get it, you know, and
I'm sure there are many people in
similar situations who have kids or who
are living with some kind of uh like
disability, which means they might, you
know, have to run off
>> for an emergency or something or or or
any other like someone might just get
the doorbell might [ __ ] ring. Like
I've I've had more people leave keys
because the doorbell rang [laughter]
than because their kids have woken up.
Do you know what I mean? And like you
know what are we going to say? If you've
got a doorbell, you shouldn't be
running. You should be perma band. He
doesn't say you shouldn't be running
keys. He said you should be perma band
>> if you've got a doorbell [laughter]
because how do you know it's not going
to ring
>> correct? I'm glad you got it.
>> You know, and like exactly what you what
you supposed to do, man. Um I I like and
and you know what
person who left maybe next time just say
the doorbell cuz no one seems to mind
that apparently. Just say next time just
say it's the doorbell
like
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> Emergency bio.
>> Exactly. I I didn't care about this,
right? I I wasn't even going to talk
about this. But the thing that really
spun my gears on it and the reason I'm
bringing it up
>> because I I don't agree with this
person, you know, but whatever. The
internet's going to take care of it. the
internet will make themselves known uh
in their comments and you know I don't
approve of any any [ __ ] being given to
anyone.
>> Uh so please don't go to this tweet and
like
>> give any [ __ ] or nastiness or harassment
or anything like that. If you do that,
you're no friend of ours. We don't want
anything to do with you.
However [laughter]
um, someone went to the stream where
this happened and I, this is why I went
to the stream, right, was so I could
check to see if this was real and it
wasn't like adopted screen like and I I
can confirm it is real.
>> Is it real?
>> Yeah. This this this streamer
filed a report on this player who left
the key
uh and reported them for
terrorist violent content
and also child abuse.
>> Oh wow.
>> And in the comments put he is abandoning
a ch he is abandoning a child in the
streets.
>> And that my friend is a false report.
>> Yeah. Like, and also ironically shows
how [ __ ] your your initial point is
because what you actually reported them
for was the exact 180° polar opposite of
what they actually did. They left the
key to look after their child. And you
know, that's such a good reason to leave
a key that you had to report THEM FOR
THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF THAT, ABANDONING
their child. So, you know, you know it's
okay to abandon a key to look after your
child because YOU HAD TO LIE IN YOUR
REPORT and say they did the EXACT
OPPOSITE. IF YOU'RE SO [ __ ] SURE that
that's a a good reason for reporting
someone, report them for what they
actually did, you piece of [ __ ] [ __ ]
And also don't file a false report on
your [ __ ] STREAM WHERE SOMEONE CAN GO
AND LOOK AT IT AND THERE'S [ __ ]
PHOTOGRAPHIC evidence of you falsely
ACCUSING SOMEONE OF CHILD ABUSE. There
is someone who's going to get
pertinently banned here, dude. And it's
you. You [ __ ] piece of [ __ ]
>> That's what made me angry and that's why
I included it in the show. [laughter]
Imagine
reporting someone for child abuse
because they stopped playing a video
game to look after their child.
>> Yeah,
>> that's [ __ ] insane. It's like he's
literally angry about someone looking
after their child instead of playing a
video game and reports them
>> for the opposite of that. Like
>> it's just like and just doing that is
such a waste of time for everyone.
>> Oh, thank you. Thank you for like
lowering tone of your voice there and
making it more calm. We all needed that.
I appreciate you. Thank you. It's just
that's just my go-to. It's just such a
waste of time for everyone like putting
in like I Yeah, it's it's really
>> What's though? Well, you like they've
ripped they've ripped a 17 cuz one
person left. So, I'm not getting It's
not that high, is it?
>> Yeah,
>> let's be real.
>> Yeah.
>> So, look, man.
>> Uh Yeah. Look, I I wasn't even going to
cover this. I wasn't even going to do
it. Um, but reporting someone
fraudulently for terrorism and child
abuse when they did the literal opposite
of it
>> is insane. Like absolutely wild and Oh,
dude mate.
>> Yeah,
>> this is you know
>> you're in trouble, dude.
>> Like like filing a false report on
stream. Are you insane?
>> I know.
>> Are you a [ __ ] Are you dumb? Thank
goodness you are cuz you deserve the
ban. But like, thank goodness you
weren't more clever about it.
>> Holy heck.
>> I know, right?
>> Absolutely insane. I can't believe it. I
can't. And And also just shows a
complete lack of conviction in the thing
that they're actually angry about. It's
like, if you actually think
>> that leaving a key to look after your
kid is bad, put that in the report, BUT
YOU KNOW IT'S NOT BAD. THAT'S WHY YOU
HAVE TO LIE about it.
>> Exactly.
>> Absolutely insane. So, uh, that was that
was a discourse this week. And I'm sorry
it's not the type of show where we go
after people or anything like that, but
it just really ground my gears.
>> I could tell
>> that's all. And I Yeah. So anyway,
whatever, man. Uh sorry. Please. Like I
say,
>> I've made my feelings on this clear.
Please don't go and you know, you know,
go and go and make your feelings known
if you wish that to happen. You know,
I'm sure he's blocked this entire thread
now anyway. Who cares? But no
harassment, no no like badness, no
anything like that, okay? No. Like
talking about their family or cuz I know
his mom. She's really nice and like
[laughter]
very caring, very selfless. Okay. So,
don't don't do it. All right. Like
you're no friend of us if you do that. I
cannot state that enough. Thank you.
>> Yeah.
>> Um Oh, there's lots of people in this
chat who know his mom, actually. So,
yeah. No, exactly. And the last thing we
want is for her to be upset, so don't do
it. [laughter]
>> Uh anyway, what else? What else are we
talking about, Fam? I'm just amazed you
summed up the energy to go off like
that. Yeah, it's just too high.
>> And also, I was getting a lot of uh
praise and compliments for how shiny and
tanned I look. And I thought if I get
myself worked up, I'll get even more
shiny.
>> Yeah, exactly.
>> And hopefully I'll get even more
compliments.
[laughter]
>> Well, cuz my hair now, just take a break
from Wow for a second. I believe
>> Wait, hold on. I couldn't talk about my
hair, but you want to talk about your
hair?
>> You did talk about your hair for about a
minute.
>> I know. No, it wasn't that long.
[laughter]
>> Uh, look, my hair has entered the flow
state now. Okay.
>> Oh, the what state?
>> Well, my my internet knows that my hair
has got long for some reason. Yes.
>> I don't know why cuz the cameras that
filming all the time pick it up, I
guess, on every kind of electronic
device I use. So, now all I used to get
just ads for like like erection
dysfunction, erectile dysfunction stuff,
right? Um,
>> I get those too. It's like you're you're
43. You probably can't pleasure your
wife. What do you think about that? Um,
but now now I'm just getting adverts for
like how to get the perfect flow
haircut.
>> The perfect flow haircut.
>> Yeah, exactly. And and like how what
products and what to tell your barber to
get the perfect flow haircut and stuff
like that. So the somehow the internet
knows my hair is getting longer and uh
but I I I think it's doing I think
>> I like it. I think this is like the one
kind of uh sort of long haircut that a
40-year-old man can get away with. The
sweatback kind of like, you know, and I
I I think it's all right. I think it's
kind of nice.
>> I think it's good. It's good. I like the
little Yeah.
>> Yeah. And I am I am Italian. I do have
Mediterranean skin. Every year we go
through the sherad where you are
surprised that I get tanned extremely
quickly just by going outside to pick up
some milk or something. Um and and and
it is true. It is true. I am getting
that little kind of like tan mark at the
top of my head.
>> Oh, I love that. Yeah. Which makes it
look like
>> Yeah. Do you remember when certain
streamers used to um react to our videos
and uh if I if you weren't on screen and
they were talking about your tits, I was
on screen, they're like, "Why is he
wearing makeup?"
>> I remember those.
>> Why is he wearing makeup? And I was
like, "Well, thank you very much, but
I'm not.
>> I'm just I just look great." [laughter]
>> Um Yeah. So, so there we go. Yeah. And I
Yes, I'm I'm wearing my shirt unbuttoned
down to my nips because that's what
we're doing. Yeah. And yes, I'm wearing
a linen work shirt because I'm that kind
of guy. Anyway, what else has upset
people in wow? I'll tell you. Vow
>> a rhyming couplet. What do you think
about that? E,
>> that's a that was a good one.
>> Thanks, mate.
>> Pure Shakespeare.
>> It was a good one. Unlike the zone vow,
which is a croc of [ __ ] Hands up if
[laughter] that's unfair. No. Okay. I
I'm I'm I'm I'm in character as a member
of the player base right now. Yes. Okay.
So, uh you haven't played any Val, have
you?
>> I literally haven't because
>> I can tell because you were smiling this
morning.
>> I was like, "Yeah, no, I literally
haven't because the heat wave kicked in
on Tuesday and I have just like
literally found it unable to to turn on
this."
>> I've spent the last three days writing
about a paragraph of a script.
>> Yeah, exactly. Dying. And if Tally's up
here and there is one PC going and I'm
like I do not dare turn on another one
because this it would be completely
untenable. So tell me tell me about Val.
Tell me what what hurts about Val.
>> Do you remember do you remember Nagtal?
What do you think of Tell me tell me
about Nagtal and then I'll compare it to
Val.
>> Nagttow nal. I don't know. Whatever you
want whatever you want to call that. I
uh I I thought it was fun on the PTR and
then I thought it was like just
absolutely kind of pointless once you
logged on to it on live.
>> Oh no. What What was so pointless about
it?
>> It it like there were there are no mobs.
I went straight on heroic. There was
nothing going on. You know, there's
always that issue with your it's full of
people doing stuff and just wiping the
map and that's fine. But it meant that
there was nothing there. I did my
quests. It was over and that was
literally it.
>> Yeah, that's pretty much val as well.
>> Yeah. Oh, just just [laughter] by cold
but icy. Are
>> there are there jumping mushroom puzzles
in
>> B? Although they're adding more
mushrooms next week.
>> I saw that. [laughter]
>> Listen. Okay, man. Man, man. I will I
will stand the mushrooms in in Natal.
Okay. As soon as as soon as I moved like
the thing to my bars, I made a macro for
it and I put so everyone was like
laughing at me because apparently you
can just move it down to your bars. It's
like well I couldn't. So, I made a macro
and I I spam the button whenever I'm
like and I'm swinging. I'm like
Spider-Man in Natal. I run out of
mushrooms and that's why I'm glad that
there aren't mushrooms everywhere.
>> It's like I'm like Spider-Man swinging
around New York, but then suddenly I'm
in like slow and there's no tall
buildings. I'm boom, you know, right?
And like so actually the news that
they're putting new mushroom more
mushrooms in Natal is music to my
mushroom swinging ears, right? I
actually quite like that. It's actually
quite an efficient way of getting around
the zone. I don't mind it at all. Okay.
>> Yeah.
>> Um Val has it's got nothing like that.
The map's a bit smaller. It's a bit more
compressed. Uh on the face of it tiny,
>> there's a lot of underground bits to it.
But if you are not of the uh kind of
mood to explore it
>> um then you're not going to find those
basically cuz you know there's still a
lot of people that never found the um
>> uh the Dranai stuff in NATO because you
have to go off the beaten track a little
bit. You have to willfully be exploring
and not just going in there and and
looking at stuff and what have you. Um
and Val is like that in fairness. There
are there are nooks and crannies. You
know it it's not a completely effortless
zone. some thought has clearly gone into
it and there are things about it that I
really really like. Um there's bits
where you're walking through it where
you basically can't see anything like
the snowstorm is so thick. [laughter]
>> No, but it's actually really really
good.
>> Okay.
>> It's really cool. It's like and and
stuff comes out of the snowtorm and it's
like and there's only there's one part
of the map where it's like that and I
actually think that's really good. Like
genuinely good. And when that happens,
my transmog changes to my snowy outfit
>> cuz I've got I've got a transmog which
is set to change in cold weather and it
is actually a weather effect there. So
it it does change my transmog and that
makes me happy. Okay,
>> that's nice. Sweet. So what are you
complaining about?
>> Well, mostly the lack of stuff to do.
Um, so uh there is some stuff I like
about it. There's there's very little in
the way of like uh story going on there
compared compared to Natal because I
liked the world building of Nate. I
liked uh you know and I also I've looked
ahead on the PTR and I know that I've
seen the Drani stuff there and it's
really interest in a lowkey way. It's
very interesting
>> you know like lowkey world building just
learning a little bit about our enemies
and and and about the legion as well and
and like this this old Dranoi Dranai
people that kind of uh like you know
were there before and stuff like that. I
that's all really interesting to me. I
like I like stuff like that. So, I
approached Natal purely as a
storytelling thing, right? I went in, I
did the quests, I quite enjoyed them. I
was done on my main. I went through it a
couple of times, a couple of I was
leveling. Well, it wasn't really worth
it, but it was a bit more interesting
than just chaining dungeons again,
right? Um, so, and Val is Val is kind of
like that, but not quite as interesting.
>> Okay.
>> Um, there is like a big like stronghold.
>> Uh, and if you go in there, it's where
the boss is as well and a couple of
other quests. If you go in there, you'll
get like you'll get killed. Like they'll
just [ __ ] wipe you.
>> Oh, nice. Good to hear that there's a
bit of a challenge.
>> Yeah. And well, the idea is you're not
supposed to even engage in that. You're
supposed to like put on a uh disguise
and and go in to get to the boss to do
any quests that are in there and stuff
like that. But um yeah, so uh I went
down there and I think the world bosses
there are really good. I think they're
really interesting. They've got like I
like the imperator Pertinax, who is the
world boss of Val.
>> He's the guy that we saw in Everong.
Mhm.
>> who you know those weird uh incursions
where it's all just like voidy animals.
>> Yes.
>> And you don't even fight anyone at the
end. He's just like, "Oh, curse you for
unvoiding my animals." Animal,
loads of animals come to help him.
>> And I just think that's pretty cool. I
think like very lowkey kind of
storytelling there. It's like, "Oh,
that's why he just he likes collecting
the animals." I think that's really
cool. And like I just I just like that.
I noticed that. I thought it was cool. I
love what bullet sponges they are
because it does last a very long time
these fights. They take quite a while.
It's like Yeah. And it's always fun to
see people trying to go in without their
disguises and getting their like [ __ ]
absolutely reamed. And um I so so that's
cool. But beyond that, I'm not
interested in any of the dailies or
anything or you know I I went in there
as a story experience. I enjoyed it a
reasonable amount for for that. Um, and
that. So, I don't I don't hate it as
much as everyone else does, but if I was
looking at it from a repeatable content
point of view,
>> uh, yes, I would be very disappointed.
>> So, I can understand why people are
disappointed, you know. Um, and there's
no uh I mean, you know, I'm getting
drops of like weapon appearances and
stuff like that. And it's fine. It's
cool. And there is there is some cool uh
like um tunnels and caves and stuff to
discover which I always enjoyed. Um and
yeah, there's there's a really good one
where you take a portal and you're
teleported to like like way deep in the
ground and there's this really long
winding path to get up and you're
fighting your way up and then you get to
the very top and you're underneath an
ice lake
>> and you just hit the ice.
>> That's fun.
>> And you can't get past it. Yeah.
>> And you're like, "Oh, wait. What?" And
like the exit is the way you came in.
>> Oh.
>> And then and then for me, half an hour
later, I had a quest where I had to go
in and get to the top to leave something
like, "Oh, what? Oh, man." Um, and so,
yeah, like, you know, once you've done
the full story, you'll never go back.
Uh, and and honestly, I'm fine with
that. Like I'm not going to sit here. As
long as I enjoyed the full story, sure,
I'm not going to sit here going, "Oh,
wasted opportunity that we're not
utilizing this more because you know
what, these zones were in Legion as
well. And I didn't feel like it was a
wasted opportunity that we didn't use
them more than after Legion. And you
know, maybe they'll pop up again
sometime in the future. Who knows?
>> Yeah. Who who knows? I mean,
>> not the same zones obviously, but the
same same planets, but you know, not the
same maps." Yeah.
>> I mean, what are what are they for
really? Like what is this? What do they
function as to get just to get some just
to get some trans
>> logs? There's there's some there's some
things to collect there.
>> Just to get some bits.
>> Maybe you can like level a bit through
them for with an alt.
>> Um
>> I mean, you know, honestly, like it's
not a very efficient way of leveling
alts and like eventually you you
literally just clear the map and there's
nothing else to do.
>> Uh but I have quite enjoyed running also
through there,
>> you know. Um there is the mythic piece
that you're doing for the four-week
quest line. So you can get a mythic
piece. Uh, so if you're if you're a solo
player and you don't have any other
access to mythic pieces, if you're not
doing any mythic plus or anything like
that, uh, that's good. That's quite fun.
Um, that's quite important. I would I
would even go as far as to say. Uh, and
you know, like there is decor to
collect. There's like So if that's a
reason for you playing the game, which
it is for a lot of people. Oh, yeah.
>> Then there's reasons to go in there to
get.
>> Yeah. But it's not forcing anyone in.
And um you know like I think we used to
agree that was a good thing but because
that's like the standard now for WoW I
feel like there is actually a bit of an
itch with WoW players to force us into
some of this content you know um and
this is always the way right you know we
get sick of something in WoW and we're
like this is universally bad and if you
do this it is bad and if you do the
opposite it will be good and then they
change it and they do the opposite for a
while and then we get bored of that and
we're like this is bad. Do the opposite.
And then and so there isn't actually a
really really good and bad way of doing
it. It's just like
>> making sure it's varied and different
and giving people different
>> absolutely. I mean it feels like with
this uh patch cadence with the like
announcement cycle we've gotten used to
with the release cycle, it's like a 0.07
patch, it literally feels like the thing
you do while you're listening to the 0.1
announcement and then Do you know what I
mean?
>> Well, I can't wait to find out what
happens in the story next week.
>> Oh, well, right. Yeah, cuz
>> I am on tent to hook. What's going to
happen?
>> It's not like I played the rest of the
story on PTR already with on the 12.1
PTR. It's not like it's been completely
revealed in the reveal for 12.1 in the
story. Not the reason [ __ ] stupid to
keep the story for 3 weeks. It's like,
you know, you're going to announce 12.1.
>> Release the [ __ ] story so at least
some people might not get spoiled,
right? I I found that very strange cuz
we we also took care not to really
discuss those things in the podcast.
>> We tried so hard not to spoiler that
[ __ ] [laughter] You have no [ __ ]
idea.
>> Listen. And it's like literally Wow.
It's just like well
the story. Here's where we're going.
>> You have to wait to complete the bits
that maybe will get you there. But you
know what? This is where this is the
destination. I mean I don't know. I
don't know. It's a it's a funny one.
>> Yeah. Um, are people is that one of the
things that you find people have been
upset about? Tally
>> Val?
>> Well, not that but the story.
>> Oh, hang on. Well, we'll get to that
because actually it's funny you should
mention that, but yes, the answer is
yes.
>> Um, but also uh just sticking with
12.0.7 for a second. Uh, it was our
second week of the om nom nom nom nom
nom nom nomon folio. Have you logged in
and done that yet, Evie?
>> No, because it was too hot on Wednesday.
>> So, I'm going to
nom nom folio. I cannot handle an extra
increment of hotness.
>> Totally nomfolio will sort you out cuz
it's so cool.
>> No, it's hot.
>> It's so cool.
>> No, it's No, it's the ramb
excitement for the patch. Put it that
way. Uh the nom nomfolio is [ __ ] bad.
>> Okay. Incremental power.
>> I enjoyed the quests to set it up last
week. I thought they were fun. I thought
they were a nice bit of world building.
I thought it was good. Yeah. Uh,
>> the set of quest.
>> Obviously this week I just get sent into
a ritual site. Like I'm not going to
lie, quite enjoyed that as well. Quite
enjoyed being getting sent into a ritual
site.
>> Why not? Did you do it the highest
level?
>> I got it at the highest level. I put all
the challenges on so I could get my
achievement for doing that while I'm
level six with all the achievements.
I've done that achievement for both of
them now. So I took it as a chance to do
that, right? And you know, it took me 10
minutes. Wham bam. Thank you, ma'am.
uh sers or madams. Um, and uh, I went
back and you know, look, okay, the first
week I got the void thing or the flame
thing. And everyone says take the flame
thing cuz it does marginally more. And
even though it hasn't got a visual
effect that the void one has, the void
effect is pretty cool. The the flame one
doesn't have a visual effect, which me
right off, man. So weird. And it's like,
okay, fine. And you know, it does sub 1%
of your damage and healing. It's like
literally kind of honestly like I
there's basically anything you could do.
Having a glass of water on the desk with
you to make sure you stay hydrated is
going to improve your healing and damage
more than the Omnium Folio. So I was
like okay well
you know, maybe maybe the second week
will make it a little bit more
impactful.
No,
>> doesn't [ __ ] It's still
>> You're not going to feel it.
>> The [ __ ] It's incremental.
>> It's not incremental. It's just [ __ ]
>> It doesn't do anything.
>> No, it doesn't do anything.
>> It doesn't do anything at the end of 5
weeks.
>> No, I don't think it will.
>> The increment will be slightly bigger.
>> Yeah.
>> Look, currently, I don't think it's ever
going to get to 1% different healing
damage. I I don't think it is.
>> I don't think What's 0.4%* 4% times two.
>> Yeah.
>> Not 1% is it?
>> No.
>> Like
>> no.
>> Do you know what I mean? It I don't I
don't THINK IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN. And
it's like, okay, I get that you wanted
to make it in offensive and I approve of
that. I think that's great. But I This
sucks.
I don't get it.
>> It just feels silly.
>> I feel a bit silly for doing it. It's
like it's like when your grand gives you
like 10 p to get yourself an ice cream.
You're like, "Oh, thanks grand. That'll
really help if I put it in a trust fund.
Maybe I'll have enough for half an ice
cream in 30 years. Thanks, Grand.
[laughter] Jesus Christ." That that's
what it is. The Omnonfolio is is like is
your grand giving you 10 p and tell
telling you to get some something nice,
>> you know? It's like I mean, thanks, I
guess, and I don't want to offend you,
but that is literally [ __ ] useless.
Maybe it's going to be like exponential
power increase.
>> What do you mean?
>> Like literally maybe by by you know week
five the line will go like this rather
than
>> Well, I don't see how cuz I've looked
through the other options.
>> And I think I just don't think that's
going to happen.
>> I know. People are saying the stat proc
on week four is actually very big.
Nearly equivalent to a flask.
>> I don't believe I just don't believe I
just don't believe. Yeah, it's not
incremental. It's exponential power.
>> Yeah. I just I feel it. I will believe
it when I see it cuz at the moment it's
4% of my healing and damage.
>> Okay. So, I mean, we'll see.
>> Yeah.
>> Right.
>> And and the options this week were like,
>> yeah,
>> and and I misread the quest and I
started doing void incursions before I
went to the ritual site. I did one whole
void. It took like 15 seconds of my
life. I'm so sorry.
>> And I was in Everong and had to fly.
Then I had to fly to Zulan to do the
thing.
>> Oh my god. I'm so angry with that.
>> I'm so sorry.
>> However,
>> however,
>> just so I'm not like a complete moaning
mini just so I'm just like not uh on one
today, I feel it only fair to point out
something that I really really enjoyed.
>> Okay.
>> Uh this week, which was the Midfire
Festival, Midsummer Fire Festival. I am
not a festival guy
>> in Minecraft. I'm not a holiday guy.
Particularly not Hallow's End. I hate
that [ __ ]
>> Look, I'm not American, okay?
>> Oh, I mean, you know, I'm married to an
American. Both my kids are American, you
know, uh although not culturally very
American, but we hammer into them that
they're American. They love it. They
love being Oh my god, they do. They tell
anyone and everyone. Yeah, exactly. Um,
and you know, but I so I just don't get
as excited about Halloween as
Americans do. Americans love Halloween.
>> They do. They love
[snorts]
>> I'm joking. But we're trying to book a
holiday in like uh New England in in uh
the autumn to go to a wedding and all
the hotels are full up cuz people go to
like Salem Salem for [ __ ] Halloween
in America. Can you imagine going on a
trip for Halloween in the UK? I can't
imagine it. It couldn't be me. What?
>> It's also hard cuz it's autumn. It's
back to school season. It's everyone
going to all the posh colleges in New
England.
>> Yeah. No, I get it. I get it.
>> And their parents.
>> So, I'm not I'm not a big festival guy.
It's never something I've really done in
in WoW before. Uh but everyone was
telling me that this Midfire Midsummer
Fire Festival was pretty good. So, I was
like, "Okay, well, let's give it a go."
And I can confirm it's brilliant.
>> Is it good? It's I've heard really good
feedback about it.
>> I found it delightful. It's very very
simple the new stuff cuz I don't give a
[ __ ] about the other stuff. I went in
and they were like, "Yo, one thing we do
in mid midsummer is we we light uh light
blossoms, right? And they're in the air.
Can you just go and set some on fire?"
And you like fly around. You set them on
fire over Silver Moon, which is where I
picked up the quest. And they're like,
"Oh, nice one. Go and talk to someone in
in Oramar." because I did it on my uh
tour and shaman which I thought would be
very fitting right
>> and go to Aramar pick up a quest go and
so I did that and it's great like they
send you on two tours of Kalumor one
around northern Calendar one around uh
southern Candle and there's like a a
wind tunnel kind of thing that you can
join that takes you around and you you
go through like all the zones of
Northern and Southern Calendar and as
you do it.
A talking head is there telling you a
story.
>> You were enjoying it so much. I
literally came up here and was like,
"Uh, Tally, I got Let's talk about" And
you were like, "Woman, silence." I
didn't say that.
>> I'm doing No, you didn't. You would
never say
>> You can't say that [ __ ] on the internet
because before you know it, Ben Ramblade
were making posts about
>> someone. Yeah, exactly. No, no.
Obviously, that is that was an
exaggeration, but Ty was like, he was
locked in. He's like, "Yeah, yeah, babe.
Sorry. I'm I'm literally listening to
you for quite a while." I I had to do
that thing where I was like, I'm really
sorry. I'm actually trying to [laughter]
listen to this because like I wasn't
look he's just flying around through
some flat. Surely I can surely
[laughter]
>> I wasn't just playing it. I was also
recording it for footage and you can't
just stop and stuff like that and I
didn't want to miss anything. And also
by that stage I was on the fourth tour
cuz I'd gone to Eastern Kingdoms as well
and I was on the last tour and I was
finding the Scottish dwarf lady quite
difficult to understand.
And also I was getting very hot and also
like I at that stage I was finding it
quite hard because what they do is you
in the wind tunnel and it takes you to a
new bit and the first story this the
northern calendar one is the best one.
It's telling the story of uh a
pilgrimage that that a bunch of torren
took back in the day to try and and
where where the whole kind of like the
burning of the the blossoms thing came
from and they they have to go through
night elf lands. So, uh, they they, you
know, get escorted through by the night
elves and it's really great and there's
a really great sense of you follow it to
a new area and then there's pebbles to
kind of burn in the new area just flying
through them and then you follow the
wind tunnel to another area and the
story continues and the guy
>> that's just a nice way to absorb a bit
of I like that
>> well you know my favorite thing in MMOs
which I think is the hardest thing to do
and I still look at that brilliant bit
in uh Heavenswood uh that does it I
think the best, but there have been bits
in WoW that have done it really well,
like in um the Anar and Planes leveling
in Dragon Flight where
>> you get a journey that you're going on
with people and it's almost an
impossible thing to do in MMOs. So, I
really notice when it's done well cuz I
I I I feel like going on a journey with
a little group of people and like we're
traveling through this land and now
we're settling down here for a second,
now we're traveling through this land
and like it's it's almost impossible in
a a modern MMO despite it being a staple
of fantasy, right? And so, I just I love
it when they do manage to pull that off
and and the the the opening kind of
quests in in the new Mid Midsummer Fire
Festival really did that. You know, it
took like 10 minutes to do the first
one. But there was a story of like I was
following in the steps of this this
pilgrimage, this kind of like, you know,
this journey that these tour went on and
like albe it at a greatly advanced pace.
I was going on it as well and it felt
really really good. It felt awesome. And
then they send you on in Southern
Calendar. It's a bit more desperate. And
then the Eastern Kingdoms ones aren't so
good because you're basically just like,
>> you know, you go on a tour and they're
telling you about the different places
and it's fine and and what have you. But
um it's it's great and it's really
lovely and there's this like excellent
Midsummer Fire Festival music playing
the whole time uh no matter what zone
you're in. So there's this real kind of
consistency to it and you know you got
like this guy telling a story the whole
time. Uh yeah, Fiona uh in in Cataclysm
Quest is a really good example of it
too. Yeah, really really well. And I I
love it whenever they do that. Um so uh
yeah, I was really really happy. And you
get a fair lot of like tokens for it as
well, which made me think like, oh,
maybe I should do some of these dailies
and get some more tokens and buy cool
stuff and stuff. So, like absolute
triumph, you know, when when uh the road
map said that they were doing holiday
revamps, I think most of us kind of had
very low expectations.
You know, thought that maybe they just
add some new things to the vendors and
stuff like that. Uh, but in fairness
with Lovers in the Air and Midsummer
Fire now, they absolutely knocked them
out of the park. Like really, really
good stuff. I can't wait to [laughter]
do that. Highly recommend it. And, you
know, I think the whole thing took me
maybe half an hour, you know. Um, and I
did get lost from a couple of times in
the wind tunnels in Eastern Kingdoms.
So, um, I I thought it was really really
good. A general consensus is that it's
really really good. Um, so yeah, these
are new Midsummer Fire Festival quests
and they're really really great. So
despite me [ __ ] on Val, I'm only
half [ __ ] on Val to be honest as
well because I think if you if you play
it like I play it, it is a lot more
enjoyable. You just go and do quests and
treat it as a story experience, like a
one-off story scenario or something.
It's kind of good. Uh but I I agree that
as repeatable content, it's not not
terrific.
>> Um so yeah, and and Midsummer Fire
really good. Not much else happening in
in 12.0.7 at the moment, though. Not
much else happening in the live game.
No, not particularly
>> except Sporefall came out as well. We
did get a chance to go to Sporefall and
we did uh defeat Sporefall in heroic
after two pulls and mythic after quite a
few more pools than that. Uh it took us
until Sunday to defeat Sporeful Mythic
and dude, I got like three drops.
>> Yeah,
>> I got like use those bonus rolls.
>> I got a loot drop. I got the ring just
from loot.
>> Yeah.
>> Uh and then I got like I think I got
like uh someone gave me the neck uh
which was really nice of them. That's so
nice.
>> I think Rico did.
>> Um, and then uh in my vault I got the
shoes.
>> Sweet.
>> And I Oh, and also I I think I bonus
rolled the trinket.
>> Wow.
>> So I actually got, you know, overall for
killing mythic sporefall this week, I
got I got four pieces of awesome gear or
298 gear. So my item is 292 right now.
>> That's pretty good, isn't it?
>> I'm still like in the 270s.
>> Yeah, I know. It's like it's pretty
good. And like I mean the shoes and the
chest is really I'm after the chest now.
That's what I really want.
>> Um, and then I can then I can uh
catalyst that as well.
>> And um and then I'll be then I'll be
running I can break myself some 17s
>> when my baby starts crying. [laughter]
>> Are you not impressed by my hall of
sporefall gear?
>> I
>> I'm allowed to break things.
>> Exactly. I'm doing you a favor by even
being in this group, fam. [laughter]
>> Um and I've been and I've been running
uh like mythic plus on my on my paladin
tank as well. I'm really enjoying that.
Uh, and I I am only able to do that
because of the midnight feature of
highlighting the mobs as a as a route
through.
>> I love that. I love that.
>> I literally wouldn't even be attempting
it if it wasn't for that. But I I kind
of basically know the dungeons anyway. I
have a basic knowledge of some of the
pools and stuff just from healing them
up to a higher level. So, I go into the
tank, I have no idea what I'm doing. I
don't tell anyone that obviously. And I
just I just pull [ __ ] and I take it
pretty slow. And people get a bit
annoyed with me because I'm taking it
slow sometimes, but I'm like,
>> like,
>> yeah,
>> [ __ ] deal, mate.
>> Yeah,
>> that's not very relaxed of you, is it?
>> That's not very Yeah. [laughter]
>> Um, so
like I'm having a good time in WoW at
the moment. I've uh, you know, used up
all my extra 100 decor limit.
>> Nice.
>> Uh, on the outside. Have you had a
chance to go through that yet?
>> I've gone I've gone through it. I'm
really really excited for 12.1 because
we're receiving the dable staircases and
just dable squares.
>> Have you seen the dable staircase? Have
you seen the staircases on the PTR?
>> Oh, no.
>> They're tiny.
>> THEY'RE LIKE INSECT SIZE. NO, NO, NO.
But that's a that's a bug. They'll
They'll get bigger. People were having a
little bit of a panic attack when they
started placing them and even blown up
to like 200%. They're basically like
little kid stairs that you might get in
in a Wendy house.
>> [laughter]
>> It was really hilarious.
>> Have you seen the troll mural that you
can get in the Mr. GM post?
>> I did see Mr. GM post about it. I I've
literally just been looking around the
PTR. There's actually three murals you
can get. Um, and they are really really
good. One actually drops from Oollettech
and holy [ __ ] that is the kind of [ __ ]
I want to see dropping from Final
Bosses. It's like this stone. Ooch
absolutely porning Mithrax like or Kith
I should say. absolutely porning Kith
just like Kith is like oh no Mithrax is
so amazing and Mithrax is like yeah [ __ ]
sorry is like yeah I [ __ ] am like no
please don't HURT ME AND LIKE WELL I I
won't hurt you but I can't speak for my
other fourheads
it's so good like they are so awesome
yeah that is the good [ __ ]
>> that is really good and I love it's so
funny how big they are in the PTR we'll
say we'll see if that lasts
>> are they really big oh
>> oh I didn't try placing them that's
>> No they're yeah Mr. GM did a little
tweet about it at like a at just normal
100% size. It is like literally bigger
than your house. I would say, okay, I do
have a bit of player housing feedback. I
think the scale is out of control. And
when I say that, I mean like the
baseline of things. I feel like player
houses are simply too big.
>> Well, we're getting large player uh in
PTR. We're getting large. So, suck it.
Basically,
>> I think scalewise, like literally in
relation to your character, like you
know, if you have if you have a normal
size house or whatever, like you know, a
floor or level, you know, like first
floor, second floor, whatever you want
to call it, like it they feel insanely
high. Like I love a good high ceiling.
And interiors, I think, are fine. I
think the exterior I and I struggle with
this every time I go and I start
decorating things and I make things a
little bigger cuz I want them to be more
visible from further away and stuff, but
I feel like the the general scale in
relation to your player character is
like is a bit off.
>> I get you too.
>> I actually agree. And it's I was
thinking about this the other day
actually because it's kind of
impossible, isn't it? You've got
>> you've got sizes of player
playable races going from Gnome and
>> all the way up to Torin and Dranai.
>> Yeah, maybe that's maybe that's it.
Maybe that's kind of take all of that
into account.
>> Generally in WoW stuff reads better if
it's a bit oversized anyway, right? So
it's like my kitchen reads perfectly,
but actually if you stand my character
next to the surface, it's like up to her
nose right?
>> Yeah. It's not quite.
>> It still looks correct. It still looks
more correct than if it was actually the
proper size. Right.
>> Exactly. There's something about that
and and I've noticed that a lot and
particularly with like building and like
doing exteriors and stuff and I'm kind
of flying around and sometimes I turn my
character off and then you know the
scale when you actually place your
character there is is I don't you know I
don't think
>> it's kind of impossible and you have to
kind of like
>> going you have to either build it for
one specific size character or you have
to leave it kind of open and I mean the
talking about high ceilings and stuff
the problem player housing has always
been to bring the ceilings in. Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah. Absolutely. That's always been the
key. Um those those I always say like
>> the rooms that you add should not
actually be rooms. You should they are
spaces to put rooms in.
>> You put dividers in of course. Yeah.
Yeah. That's that is the secret.
>> But but I do agree with that.
[clears throat] And um I' I've enjoyed
placing uh like windows and stuff on my
treehouse on the outside like into the
tree trunk of the treehouse and stuff
like that. That's been like super fun
for me. I haven't yet decor
but I'm like yeah but all the circular
rugs are already in place.
I know. I know. I'm like,
>> "Yeah,
so much time placing the rugs is like my
least favorite thing in the world. I've
done a lot." Right. So, I know, man. Uh
>> Yeah. Yeah.
>> Um Yeah.
>> But yeah, not a real, you know, issue,
but it's
>> since you brought us onto the PTR,
>> let's talk about some of the things that
have upset people. That is our vague
theme this week. Let's talk about some
of the things that have upset people on
the PTR.
>> And I think it's only right that we put
a spoiler warning up here.
>> Yes. Uh, so if you are listening on your
headphones, uh, maybe when Evie is
putting, um, this up on your preferred
podcast listening platform, maybe Evie
could really kindly put a time stamp. I
will
>> uh, for when these spoilers end.
>> I will. Um,
>> I'll put them on YouTube and I'll put
them on the audio version in the
description. Yeah, that' be that would
be really really good. Um, I will do
that for you. If you are watching along,
then uh, the spoiler bot is up. It's a
Bluebot spoiler right now,
>> but I mean technically this is Blue Bot.
It's on the PTR. All right, it's stuff
that people are seeing. So, it's not
data mind or anything like that. I'm not
talking about data mining today.
>> Uh, but you know, you can come back when
you see this disappear. You can unmute
us when you see this disappear. I will
not be showing any pictures on the
screen. So, you're safe to kind of like
have this on screen and see when it
disappears. Okay.
>> Mhm.
>> Right. So, remember we were talking last
week about Zuljan and how we were hoping
he would survive and it didn't look like
he did survive and uh but you know,
we're still sniffing some some copium on
that.
>> Yeah. There was actually some more
copium in the week.
>> I did see. I did see. This is actually
really exciting. Well, wait. Maybe tell
you maybe you want to set the tone for
where we are.
>> Okay. So, I got through many phases with
with Zuljan. Okay. Uh when I played the
story line, the leveling story line for
um Zulan on the PTR, it it was very
clear to me. I thought that he was
getting villain batted and that he was
going to be set up to be a villain in uh
well 12.1.
>> Mhm. A lot of people disagreed with me
and they're like, "No, no, no, no. He's
far more nuanced than that." And and and
to be fair, I I kind of came over. And I
never, actually, I'm going to disagree.
I never thought he was more nuanced than
that, but I I I started joining in the
general hope that Zuljan would
come out the other side of his villain
batting,
>> you know, having learned something and
progressed as a character and being
accepted back into the fold rather than
us just killing him. Then some very
exciting stuff came through uh of models
of Zuljan clearly having been turned
into a snake
>> at some point. And I was like, well,
that's actually [ __ ] awesome. That's
actually potentially a master stroke.
And I I really loved the idea that
Zuljan, whose main fault, his main flaw,
his main characteristic basically is
that he's a he's a an Armani
nationalist. Okay, he's a bit racist.
He's an Armani supremacist. He believes
that the Armani should be ruling the
whole world and he's willing to do
whatever, you know,
is necessary to make that happen. He
talks about, you know, not just in
theory, the Armani rule in the world. He
talks about wanting to make that happen
and stuff like that. And and, you know,
he clearly loves his sister. He's very
caring towards his uncle and there's
like very good things about him as well.
Uh, but you know, being being a a
supremacist is a bad thing.
>> I think that's a bit strong for him. I
think he just wants his people to
thrive.
>> I don't get the impression that he's
like out for world domination.
>> Well, he says it and and like um so and
that's the thing, right? And I think
that's quite interesting because that
that's a way that and I don't think he's
really doing it intentionally, but that
is a way that some
>> white supremacists, whatever,
>> they they make reasonable arguments
like, well, I just don't want us to be
relying on the lower.
>> Okay. So, I would like to find a way for
us to be very strong and great again on
our own. Right? And so, like I don't I
agree with you. I don't think Zujan is
doing that intentionally, but he does
also talk explicitly about taking over
the whole of the, you know, northern
eastern kingdom. Does he?
>> Yes. Yeah.
>> I must have miss I must have missed
those things,
>> you know. But but like I think
interesting character and I like him and
the idea of him turning into a snake
would actually be a really good way of
dealing with that because what happens
to uh an Armani nationalist, an Armani
supremacist, like a character who
defines himself almost entirely on his
race.
>> What happens to that person when they're
not an Armani anymore? What happens to
that person when through their own
actions they are turned into something
else? and like you know he has that to
grapple with. He's like well if this
happened to someone else I wouldn't
accept them as being an Armani anymore
but I I do consider myself an Armani
>> and I believe I am an Armani
>> but I wouldn't say that I am. So
>> that's going to have to make me look at
my own beliefs and my own kind of like
uh kind of belief structure and it could
be a really awesome learning thing for
him you know because he's not an Armani
anymore but he is. So what does that
make him?
>> You know, where does he belong now?
>> Yeah, exactly. And that's actually
that's actually a really awesome
potential storytelling device quite
apart from the fact that now you have a
major Armani law character who's also
just a snake and that would just be
[ __ ] cool and objectively hilarious.
So I was like a million% into this idea
which I basically just made up and this
is why you got to be careful with
speculation, right? Is because you nine
times out of 10 you're going to be upset
because your speculation doesn't come
true. And then you're like left with,
well, is the story really bad and I
actually upset because the story is bad
or am I upset because my speculation
that I was so attached to didn't happen,
right?
>> Um, and you can make a case that's
what's happening here because no, that
is not what's happening.
>> It seems through every kind of B kind of
everything we've got on the PTR at this
stage suggests that he is in fact dead.
>> I Okay, so again, I I I don't I don't
know if I completely get that impression
either. you get you get this dialogue
with uh uh Zuljara and Leaddin and
they're like, "Oh, you know, I wish we
could have helped him." You know, it's
like they're like he I wish we could
have done this for him. There's no
explicit like he is dead or gone. Like
he could definitely think about he's
dead. You're right. I mean, I guess
Blizz is PTR. There's still time. I know
this [ __ ] is basically impossible to
change, especially on this shorter a
time frame, but did you think my idea
was good? Make it happen. It's what if
you changed it from what you've got
right now to what I've explained,
everyone would like it more. I'm just
saying like it's what people want. And I
think I think people are just upset
because um
>> I I Yeah, I also think
>> interesting. He's a fun character. He's
a really good I I love Zulujan and I
think he's a really good character and I
would be upset to see him go for a
number of reasons, but I also don't
again maybe I this is just my my
reading. I don't I don't take him as
like a I think he has very intense
ideals and he really believes in like
the preservation of the Ammani and I
don't but I you know and he thin line to
walk though.
>> Yeah. No, I know but I just don't think
he has to be read that way. Like I you
know I think especially particularly
being a troll like I think Blizz like
the writing in the game is really
explicit about how the Ammani have
struggled to maintain themselves and
their identity. Like I don't I don't see
him as a like nationalism is bad
character. I see him as a I'm I'm
struggling to preserve like what we have
left. That's how that's how I you know
that's how Zuljan comes across to me.
And um sure like the Ammani people like
have conquered others and stuff but like
the Ammani are being like very I think
explicitly positioned as like you know
they're living among the ruins of of
their former empire right uh but you
know they they want to find the good way
forward for like all of their people and
it's yeah Zuljara is the like we need to
do this right we need to maybe have the
help of the lowera it's debatable and
Zjan is just like um you know uh some
people might die along the way
[laughter]
uh you know and and so I uh I you know I
don't know I I I don't read him as quite
quite as strongly in that sense and I
and I can see I I understand why people
um are getting really upset about him
being lost because yeah he's like a a
complex
like troll character
>> I I agree with unfortunately like
>> you he does I I wish he didn't have to
be killed off. I really wish Yeah, me
too.
>> I I don't I don't think the the answers
for him to die. And I think I completely
understand why people get upset because
they're like, I here we have a really
good horde character. He's complicated.
He's not like a 100% good guy.
>> Well, he's not a horde character cuz
he's a man, but
>> Yeah. Yeah. No, sorry. A troll
character. And uh you know,
does he have to die? Right. Like it's uh
you know so I I totally get people being
upset and it feels it feels a bit oh
this is my favorite my favorite
Britishism feels a bit cathanded to me
like it's the handling of him feels
candly
agree uh mostly because it's I I feel
like it's pretty much the least
interesting thing you could have done
with him
>> and like
>> exactly exactly like
>> and I completely agree I completely I
agree with literally every sentiment
you're raising I agree with everything
you're saying. I want make that very
clear. The only thing I disagree with is
that I I think the story in the story he
has been a bit more explicitly Armani
supremacist as well. And I I I I think I
think it has
>> I think the basis of his his like
motivations and feelings come from
everything you're saying. I completely
agree with that. But I think I think the
story has more explicitly shown him
progressing too far along that path into
the other stuff as well, you know. Um,
and I I think that's you've played like
>> I think Well, no, forget PT. I think
that's been there since Questing.
>> Oh, yeah. And and and I I I think that
has been something that the story, but
that's a very small difference opinion.
That's a meaningless difference of
opinion really everything you're saying.
>> I was one over because he's so hostile
to you when you talk to him in the
beginning and then he's like, "Hey,
>> yeah,
>> that's my friend over there." You know,
he absolutely nags me.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He he [laughter]
actually, you know, he's so um he's so
so troll Twitter was saying Tally is
happy with 12.1 and Zulujan because
being British he loves colonization.
Like what the [ __ ] I when you say troll
Twitter, I know exactly who you're
talking about. You're talking about like
the 10 people I have banned on Twitter,
right? And it's like
>> was there anything from last week when
we were talking about this that
suggested I was happy with Zjang getting
killed off?
>> No, I think I think like people just go
on the internet and lie. just what the
internet this show like from before 12.1
was even announced or even thought of
where there's a big picture of Dan
saying leave him alone is the headline
you know like people just lie about [ __ ]
we say on this show it's absolutely wild
>> I think people just need an outlet
because they're upset cuz he's
>> why do I have to be the outlet why do
they have to like lie about what I'm
saying
>> because you're on a you're on the
internet you have a face
>> or Tally's not harassing any devs he
must be happy with it
>> I won't listen to the words Tally
saying, but I I I notice he's not
harassing any devs, so he must be in
favor of No, I'm not [ __ ] in favor of
what they're doing with Zulujan. As I've
said like a thousand times before, Jesus
is [ __ ] Christ, morons.
>> I think it's just I think No, I think
it's just really upset people, I think.
>> Yeah. No, and I agree. And I I So, there
was a bit of hope in this week when
>> Oh, yes. the fight, the penultimate
fight of the raid in 12.1, which we
haven't had a chance to test yet, and we
don't really know anything about either.
In upcoming raid testing, they name the
fights right?
>> Yes.
>> Uh, and it's changed name, not once, but
twice.
>> Yes.
>> It's on its third different name now.
>> Yeah.
>> Uh, and what's it been called? It's been
called like the unwilling. So the first
name the first name was the unwilling
vessel which you talked a little bit
>> which knowing that he turns into a snake
it's very suggestive that it could be
could be zjan uh penultimate I know he's
a boss in the uh dungeon as well but
penultimate before it would make sense
for it to be zan yeah involved in some
way and then uh it was changed again to
the coiled altar
>> a bit more general
>> uh and now finally uh it is called the
bargained crown.
M interesting.
>> Ooh.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Um Yeah. Yeah. Well, I mean, oh,
apparently you guys looked at Ziljan as
a villain right away. No, I said he was
getting villain batted right away and
I've been proven right. Doesn't mean I
like it, though. That's the thing. Like,
I I correctly picked up on Blizzard's
very obvious villain batting because
I've played this game before and I can
read words and I've been proven right.
And I'm not glad that I'm right. You
know, I was like, they're villain
batting this guy. I hope they don't.
>> Yeah.
>> Uh but I I I was objectively correct. It
would seem that they are villain batting
him, you know. Um and so, but just
pointing out objective objective fact
isn't like, [laughter]
>> you know, I can point out that global
warming is happening. That doesn't mean
I'm in favor of global warming. Quite
the opposite. Usually, the people that
deny global warming is happening are the
people that are like not in favor of
fixing global warming, right? me
pointing out that global warming is
happening is like, you know, more being
against global warming than denying it.
And same with Zuljan's villain batting.
Like I correctly picked up what Blizz
were putting down for villain batting
Zuljan. Um, and doesn't mean I'm in
favor of it in any way. I'm completely
like it.
>> No, totally. Um, but yeah, people people
are very dishonest when they talk about
me on the internet sometimes, but that's
part of the job. I know. I get it. I get
it. Um, so what do you think? Do you
think there's anything in the uh the the
fight name changes?
>> I think there could be something to it.
I I mean, I think they're just trying to
change the tone of it a bit, whatever it
is meant to be. Like I I have a just
just the tiniest like nub of left in me.
And I just I I think that he won't die.
I don't think Sjian's going to die.
>> Well, I hope not.
>> Yeah. I just uh I just don't think it's
going to happen.
>> Yeah.
>> And but I think he will lose something
of himself along the way. Like you
they become his form, right? Like I
think he will be changed by his
experience. I think we will we will have
like a confrontation,
>> but I but I I'm like secretly hoping
he's not going to be gone.
>> Well, I and like I say, I am so in favor
of the idea of having like a snake
Armani character
>> just, you know, relearning what it means
to be Amani. Like it's, you know, it I
just think that's such an interesting
concept. This guy who he was, he was so
proud of what he was and he's not that
thing anymore. So, how does he cope,
right? What does he do? He has to well,
he has to redefine what being Armani
even is, which is just a good thing to
do. And and and I think that's and you
know, that's how he can find his his arc
and his redemption. And I there's still
there's still space for that to happen.
I just really don't think it is because
I I think he dies.
>> Um I I really hope you're right. But
anyway, that's something the player base
is unhappy about.
>> Um I'm unhappy about it, too. I think
it's fair to say E's unhappy about it,
too. Like, I'm always I'm, you know, I'm
trying to keep an open mind about it if
if it's done particularly well.
>> You know, it's
>> I don't I don't think that it's it's not
pulled out of their asses or anything
like that. I I think it was very clearly
laid out from the from the questing,
>> but yeah, it's just the least
interesting thing they could have done
with it in my opinion. And that's what I
find offensive.
>> Yeah, same.
Can you just do something? Yeah, just
>> like every other option was a bit more
interesting.
>> So, there we go. Such is life. Um, so
another thing uh that I've been doing on
the PTR this week was uh because another
thing that people are concerned about
when it comes to 12.1 is how, you know,
trolly it is, how low it is. That's
obviously all a good thing, but how
potentially disconnected it is from the
main story of Midnight. Have you heard
people talking about this?
>> I have not.
>> Oh, really? Okay. Well, this is a
discourse as well. And of course, I'm
sympathetic to it's that thing of like,
well, this is the traditional like mid
patch sidestep. They did it with Udoir
uh to greater claim. They did it with um
undermine to slightly lesser claim from
some quarters. And you know,
>> there's this worry that okay, well, what
about Zath? Are we losing momentum to go
on like this little side quest
basically?
>> And one of the things I've been really
delighted to kind of test out on the PTR
this week was the Artor quest lines.
>> Oh, which are set after the raid.
>> Ah,
>> okay. So, these won't be there on the
first week of release. They'll probably
be there the week after the raid goes
live.
>> Um, and it's the story of Arattor. You
might have seen it online. Someone
posted it and was like, "Look at this
Disney ass shit." Because there's like a
cut scene at the beginning where Artor,
absolute [ __ ] Disney idiot, is sad
that his parents might be dead.
>> Oh no.
>> And Umbrich is like, "Hey, let's go and
try and find them. Maybe they're not."
>> And that's Disney apparently. That's
like I don't follow. That's Liz being
like Disney. Like when someone is sad
that their parents might be dead. That's
some Disney ass [ __ ] right there.
>> Yeah, for sure.
>> That's like holy [ __ ] You know that
scene in The Godfather where they're all
at like, you know, Marlon Brando's
funeral and they're all a bit sad
because their dad is dead.
>> Yeah.
>> [ __ ] Disney [ __ ] man.
>> Yeah.
>> Like disgusting. I hate that [ __ ]
Imagine being upset cuz your parents
might be dead.
>> [ __ ] [ __ ] Um, so uh you go on a
little quest with uh Arat. Um, and like
I say it, so a a very big spoiler here
cuz you were talking about the idea of,
you know, us using Oolletch to defeat
Kithics and stuff later on and what have
you. That's not going to happen. Tech's
dead.
>> Oh [ __ ]
>> Yeah, we kill We Yeah, we cool we kill.
Why?
>> He's dead.
>> Why do they have to keep killing the
things that I like?
>> Why do we have to keep killing raid
bosses?
You
>> know, dead. like they they they talk
about it multiple times and they talk
about how well through the course of
their discoveries, which I'm not going
to uh spoil for you, but they go on a
little hunt. They they they they're
like, "We're going to go and bully some
uh Twilight Blade
>> down in the south part of Everong, okay,
>> uh to to find out what they know." And
you meet this little voiding.
>> I love a good voiding.
>> Oh my god, he's so good. He's like, "I
don't know who I am, but I know I hate
Twilight Blade. please help me by
feeding me them. And so you do you take
him along for some [ __ ] reason.
>> I like you feed and he turns out to be a
character that you know and it's it's
kind of good and you chase him and this
is amazing bit where he escapes through
a portal and you chase him through void
space and you dive through void space
and you and Umbri and Arat and you're
hurtling and it's it's it's the
Demensius boss room and you're you're in
these void bubbles and you're you're
flying through and it plays the
currently plays the Dementius music as
well. Oh, and you're perfectly. And you
have to like you have to like dodge
stuff and like heal stuff and shoot
stuff and it's [ __ ] awesome. It's so
good.
>> I will use any excuse to get in there.
>> Oh my god. And then it sets up the
resurrection of Kithics because it's
like with Oolletch dead,
>> the way is now clear for Kith because
Ulletch as as as Ulitech's uh stone
>> thing that he drops makes very clear it
was Oolletch keeping Kithix under wraps
down there. So the fact that is dead now
means that the twilight blade can can
the mural thank you can resurrect
Kithix. So Kithix is clearly the boss in
the one boss raid in the mini as we
predicted
>> but like very much being set up for the
the coming back of Kithix and that being
a big fight and uh that's kind of
awesome really. And so
the wor I would say the worries of there
not being enough voidy stuff in this
patch.
This quest line completely put that to
bed for me because it's actually the
most straight up voidy [ __ ] we've had
this expansion.
>> Like something about having the uh the
voidling follow you around. And you know
it was it's an old voiding right with a
funny voice. Not like goofy ass dominar.
Not like a void planet. You you've got a
voidling following you around. You're
killing Twilight's Blade. You jump
through a portal. You're zooming through
space. You know, they're talking about
bringing back an a black empire general
and [ __ ] Like it's old school voidy
vibes and it feels awesome. And and and
it it is very much on Zalat's kind of
say so that they're doing this. It was
like one of the things she talked about
before she disappeared cuz they don't
know where she's gone either.
>> And and they're like why has she
abandoned us? Maybe if we bring back
Kithic she'll come back cuz she'll be
pleased with us sort of thing.
>> Um and it's it's awesome. It's It's
really really good and I I'm at like a
genuine despite how like Disney it is
obviously because someone's sad that
their parents might be dead. Um it's
really awesome. It's so cool. And then
you you go you go [laughter] because
obviously like uh
the the the stuff that the Armani have
been doing in the in the uh leveling has
left the way open for the Twilight
Splade and a lot of the areas of Zula
man where this is happening and stuff.
Right. You go and report all this to to
Loramar in Silver Moon and he's just
like
>> the [ __ ] arm I know.
>> I knew I should have taken that [ __ ]
place over.
>> Oh god. He's just great and I love him.
And um it just it feels really voidy. It
feels really like a plot.
>> It's clearly setting up well it's
clearly setting up um
>> uh Arat as the child of Light and
Shadow. Uh, which is something that
obviously we've been speculating about
since Legion. Um, and
but Tally, how can he be the child of
light and shadow? Cuz when he was born,
Lyia didn't have any shadow in her. So,
so it's not a true prophecy, is it? It's
like
>> if I if my dad became a wrestler
tomorrow, I would be the son of a
wrestler regardless of whether he was a
wrestler when I was born. like he
becomes a wrestler. I am now the son of
a wrestler. Okay? So any prophecy
predicting the son of a wrestler
>> doing something important doesn't matter
if he was a wrestler when I was born.
Okay? It matters that he was a wrestler
when I do the thing.
>> Then the prophecy is correct. It
prophesied the son of a wrestler. Okay?
He didn't have to be a wrestler when I
was born. That's how language works.
>> Apparently that was your Jason Staithm
impression.
>> What?
>> Fieldy says that was your Jason
Stathithm impression. What was
>> that in the voice?
>> Oh my [laughter]
I'm a beekeeper. Don't [ __ ] with me.
>> Is that what is that what he actually
sounds like?
>> I don't [snorts] know. I've seen Jason
Stathithm in real life.
>> I don't think I've ever heard his voice.
>> I was in a bar with him once and he
>> Is he very small?
>> He's He's so small. You have no idea.
>> Okay.
>> He's like
>> It's got to be that proportion. I
thought he was the guy that played Mini
Me in the in in the uh in the movies at
first. He's so tight, but he has he is
be like lots of like lots of short
kings. He is beautifully proportioned,
which is why short kings make such
brilliant film sets, right? Like
beautifully proportioned, very
attractive. He was going out with like a
a statuesque 6 foot tall [ __ ]
supermodel.
>> Uh Rosie Huntington
>> Whitley. This was a very long time ago,
so maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. I
don't know. But um like uh yeah, like
clearly a very attractive man. Like no,
as are many of my short kings, like
absolutely. Um but uh yeah. Yeah. No.
Um,
>> what was I talking about? Oh, yeah. So,
anyway, clearly setting up the child of
light and shadow and, um, just some
really interesting things going on that
story. I was really happy with it. I
thought it was a really, really good
story line. So, yeah, again, just for
bounce, I know that's a worry that
people have that there isn't a
connection to void stuff and what have
you in this uh, patch. Just based on
that, I'm I'm pretty happy that there is
a little bit, you know, the suggestion
there's going to be more quests
throughout the patch
>> on that theme as well. So, yeah, we'll
wait and see, I guess.
>> Yeah. Yeah. you know,
>> um there were a couple of things that
came up this week that I found uh did
not make me angry. Oh, really?
>> They were I found them very redemptive.
>> Not really on theme then, but let's hear
it.
>> No, I know. But I think they're really
important, including one of them, which
was um just posted on Wowhead uh 15
hours ago now. Really, really buried the
lead on this one. The title is clear
outlines on cone and line attacks,
upcoming changes to season 2 mythic plus
dungeons. And you're like,
>> "Cool, good, good." But what this
actually is is like a full breakdown
bluepost of every single dungeon coming
in the Mythic Plus rotation in season 2.
Oh, how it's being fixed. Oh,
>> and why you why they are aware that
people hate them, but they're fixing
them to make them much better. This is I
I read
>> that is bing cuz I didn't even click on
that article cuz I was like,
>> I didn't even click on it the first
time.
>> It's on the first page. It's one of the
first things there
>> cuz I saw the graphic and I was like,
well, that looks good.
I'm quite a highle player. I can I can
see the [ __ ] on the ground.
>> No, this is this is this is really
really good. There's been a whole blue
post, pages upon pages of uh feedback
that they've given uh outlining uh what
they're doing for Mythic Plus season 2
and why.
>> Okay. Every dungeon gets a full creature
review to help avoid every creature from
feeling the same and distribute
challenge across the entire group.
Season 2 is taking uh trying to take
some of the pressure off tanks and
healers, putting on DPS instead by
slightly increasing health pools to
encourage damage prioritization and
cooldown timing, while some enemies
abilities will now deal less real damage
except for uh applying more penalties to
player output, blah blah blah. Anything
that caught your eye in this in this
launch?
>> Uh sorry, worth saying that spoilers are
now over.
>> Thank you. Sorry. Thank you.
>> Spoilers are now over. Um, yeah, just
how they they're literally gone through
every they're like, and this was I think
this was obvious when they announced the
dungeons, but it's really really good
that they're saying like, okay, murder
row, uh, the cantina stuff goes by
faster, uh, casting abilities have been
taken out of, uh, loads of mobs, RP
events go quicker, free, uh, Den of
Narak, freezing wind, EASIER TO
NAVIGATE. [laughter]
>> I'LL BELIEVE IT when I [ __ ] see it,
>> right? Blinding Veil, uh, caster is
reduced. Um, uh, King's Rest role play
goes by faster, fixed sequences, new
abilities, boss reworked, enemy density.
Like,
>> it's really good. It like this is it's
just cool. I to me I was like, this is a
big win for Blizz. Thank you. Big W for
communication.
>> Yeah, for communication certainly
>> for communication like literally
outlining everything. This is a really
and yeah, you get you get cones and
stuff. Visible cones. This is have a
look. It's really really in-depth. It's
really detailed. point out something
that really worries me in this. This
just caught my eye really quick.
>> Um,
>> one key difference is we'd like to the
difficulty of a dungeon to be even more
shared across the group.
>> Specifically, we'd like the DPS role to
factor more strongly into a group
success. Nope.
>> Do you mean interrupts?
>> As a healer, can I please just say it's
fine? Let me carry please. Like, no. I
do not want that. DPS don't want that.
Like tanks and healers, you know, Blizz
are expecting tanks and healers to be
like, "Oh, yeah, at last. Thanks, Blizz.
But no, tanks and healers are sitting
there like, "Uh, absolutely [ __ ] not.
No way. If you could give me a chance to
take DPS completely out of the equation,
make it all down to tank and healer,
that would be great, actually. That
would be really good. Thanks."
[laughter]
But no, I I I thought it was really cool
that they came out with this. Um, it was
really neat. And also speaking of
Wowhead, uh, this is really interesting.
Wowhead recently put out a an article
called Wowhead in 2026 and beyond
something we said we were going to talk
about.
>> This is Yeah, this is, you know, we
should talk about this a little bit. um
uh you know because many of you may have
noticed uh that things have felt
different on Wowhead. I think that's
fair to say. There would
>> for a while now
>> for a while. For a while it's felt that
way. You know, we've seen the departure
of some familiar kind of important faces
from Wowhead. Um there was a sudden
influx of articles which I think we can
all agree felt like very clickbaity and
no substance really. This kind of like
something the most important thing.
Yeah. And of course, you know, in this
day and age, it's kind of sparked
people's worries about the use of AI.
Um, and uh so they an article has just
come out uh on Wowhead, which is
>> I I kind of I just want to say before we
move on, I think a lot of that criticism
was very uh justified as well.
Absolutely. I'm very much of the opinion
that Yeah, a lot of that stuff has been
noticeable with Wowhead recently. I
would I would definitely agree with
that. Sometimes over the last couple of
years, let's be real. Yeah.
>> I would look at
>> a Wowhead article and kind of just roll
my eyes
>> and and be like, I expect that from
certain YouTubers, but not from you,
right? And like,
>> yeah,
>> you know. Yeah. I I I think most people
would agree.
>> Yeah. Um, so yeah. So, I'm not going to
go into a detail of all of it here, but
it's up on Wowhead and it's uh
>> Well, no, is there some anything that
kind of
>> Yes, I'm gonna Yeah, I'm not That's why
I say I'm not going to read the whole
thing because it's very very long and
like like this uh
>> Blizz Blue post recently that came out.
Um but this is uh Blaney who's kind of
the the head of the content team now at
Wowhead, just uh addressing a few
things. Uh this is very I have to say
this is a very nicely written Wowhead
article. It's broken up very clearly and
I can understand it a bit better meta.
>> Probably not AI.
>> Exactly. Probably not AI. Well, you
know, the first thing is like the
biggest question, AI. Uh I love the
TLDDRS on this. Wowhead does not use AI
to write anything. We know there's been
speculation and we have firm rules and
processes regarding this. Um apparently
there are like very strict rules. If
people use AI uh or are found to be
using AI when writing articles, they uh
investigated if it's true. they're
fired. So that is um
>> Yeah,
>> that is the state of
>> I think quite a lot of people fired from
what I heard recently.
>> Well, yeah,
>> I wouldn't I wouldn't you know a lot of
that is just evil catalism, right?
Exactly. But here's the thing. You know
how like loads of people left Blizzard
in in the abuse scandal and one or two
of them were definitely abusers, right?
But you can't look at everyone who left
during the abuse scandal and be like,
"Oh, they were probably abusers."
>> Exactly. We're not going to paint
everyone with a broad a broad brush
here. Um uh yeah. Um, they address the
ads issue, which if you have ever used
Wowheads, you will know that is frankly
unusable on mobile. If you have it open
in a tab while you're playing the game,
it does not work.
>> Okay, I'm actually going to
>> Mhm.
>> I'm going to I'm going to say something
which no one's going to like.
>> No, no, that's new.
>> As you can see, because I've got Wowhead
up on my screen right now,
>> and there are no adverts on it. Okay.
Since 2018, I've been paying a
subscription to Wowhead because I use it
every single day of my life. I through
the course of my work, I often have like
10 15 Wowhead tabs open in my browser at
any one time. Yes, with the adverts on,
you simply couldn't do that. It would
break your [ __ ] computer.
>> Like, and that is bad. I'm not
pretending that's not bad, but at the
same time, I was like, well, look,
clearly I value the service they
provide. Clearly, I still want to use
their site. I hate these adverts for
what is I mean I don't even know what it
costs. At the time it was like a couple
of quid
>> like literally a year or something like
that.
>> Maybe it's a bit more now. I don't even
know. But I think for for how much I use
it, it's got to be my cheapest,
>> you know, subscription
>> per use, you know, that I own out of
anything. And that probably includes WoW
as well.
>> Um, and I think I think I did this
before the channel even, so I think it's
not even tax deductible. I don't think
it even comes out of the company. me. I
think it just comes out of my account,
but I never even notice it cuz it's so
small.
>> Yeah.
>> Um, and I haven't had I haven't had
adverts on here since 2018, right?
>> Like, so I I I get it. I understand the
ads are out of control, but also it's a
website that I value and the information
I value on it, so I pay for it and I get
I I that it doesn't affect me.
>> I'm just saying.
>> Yeah,
>> that's all.
>> That's good.
>> You know,
>> for people who don't do that, uh,
>> consider it maybe. That's all. I get it.
You shouldn't have to pay for [ __ ] on
the internet. I I get it, right? But
like
>> people who who write for a living should
be paid, right? Like
>> Yeah. Yeah. Totally. Um
>> where else does that money come from?
>> I would I would, you know, I've got a
lot of subscriptions. Okay. Netflix, uh
Pornhub, um like, you know, I haven't
got a Pornhub subscription, don't worry.
>> Porn Do you mean Do you mean like
Ponehub?
>> No. No. I I was making a joke. I'm not I
I you know, um but the subscription if I
you know, I would give up my Netflix
subscription. I would give up my Disney
Plus subscription. you know, all of that
before I gave up a my uh like YouTube
premium subscription, if that's even
what it's called nowadays. Again,
something I've had since about 2016.
>> Uh haven't watched an advert on on uh
YouTube in since 2016, unless it was
every telling me about Squarespace,
right?
>> Um
>> and and my Wowhead subscription. Those
are the two subscriptions that would
literally be the last ones that I gave
up. Oh, I'm Wow, probably as well. Yeah,
but go start saying it. Yeah. Yeah.
>> Um I just recommend it. Uh so yeah, so
there I think they're like kind of
reassessing the the ad structure on the
website. Um and and likewise um uh
there's a whole uh section about content
and about like hey we tried some we
noticed you guys really didn't like
these articles. Um we're not going to do
them anymore. We tried something. We're
not doing it anymore. Um if you don't
like something, tell us. Right. And I I
have to say I appreciate this kind of
like just transparency. I think it's
good especially in a time when again
you're like hey is this website being
completely run by AI right now because
many things are right so much is so
automated. I've never
>> I've never had so many like sponsorship
opportunities or literally like there
are no real agents anymore. They're all
just AI agents to navigate. Well, when
we do a video, which is a sponsored
videos of Squarespace, we have to get
approved, right, before before the video
goes out where like, you know, just make
sure we're not saying anything like
terrible,
>> go out, hit some kids or something,
right? Like um and it used to take a
couple of days for that to happen. Now
it happens in 5 minutes
>> and you're like,
>> well, I think
>> I don't know what process I don't know
what process they're doing.
>> But I don't think there's many humans
involved in it anymore.
>> Even systems have been automated.
>> Yeah. Um but yeah uh so it's um I just
thought that was really interesting for
anyone who is uh who who is curious
about kind of the future of what I would
say is like the core World of Warcraft
database and news site, right? People
rely on it for so many things. It was it
was really heartening to see this uh
this kind of message come out to be
honest. Um doesn't necessarily outline
the future, but it's like hey um we're
still humans here. We're we're figuring
it out. We're trying to figure out
what's next. Yeah.
>> So, um, that was quite cool.
>> Iconography. Use our code. Um,
[laughter]
>> heck yeah. Heck yeah. I got Kimchi to
use our code recently.
>> Yes.
>> Yeah.
>> Get in there.
>> Um, but yeah, those are some things that
in this week of like, you know, living
on the face of the sun. That made me
feel good, too.
>> I I actually respect Wowhead for this
because I was I was having my doubts
about Wowhead as well. And uh you know I
was dismayed to see like all the layoffs
and stuff recently. We talked about this
last week I think but particularly with
Peculiar cuz I love Peculiar and uh you
know she's like just awesome.
>> But I I I really respect this article. I
think this article is really good. It's
well written and the things that they're
talking about changing
>> Yes, please. I would like to see them
change those things. I think that's
awesome.
>> Exactly. And I really enjoy the
discussion that's happening underneath
it because the author Bly is going
through and literally responding to
every single comment. It's kind of
awesome
>> and it's kind of amazing and the uh the
comments are like mostly really good
feedback. People being like, "Hey,
actually, you know, there's like memory
leaks and I don't like this type of
content because it's not good." And um I
appreciate, you know, it's actually it's
it's pretty good. You do get a couple of
people who are like, "Haha, this article
was written by AI. Look at all the
dashes." It's like, uh it it just come,
you know, come on. And I only found one
of our haters in there. So,
>> hey. [laughter]
>> Wow, they must be on holiday.
>> I know exactly. The haters must be on
holiday. Um, but yeah. So,
>> well, he just hasn't had a chance to log
on to all his other accounts yet. That's
>> Give them time. [laughter]
>> Um, so, so that was that made me
>> Yeah. No, I I I think that's No, I I
found it like a lot of [ __ ] has been
said about Wowhead justifiably in the
last uh few months in particular. Uh,
and I think, you know, fair play. I
think that's a good response. Credit
where it's due.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Good stuff. Anything else? Oh, a
couple of just like little news tidbits.
>> Yeah.
>> Um, new warband screens coming in 12.1.
>> Yeah. Can I say something?
>> Yes.
>> I think the void one's really ugly.
>> This one?
>> Yeah.
>> Why?
>> It's not voidy enough.
>> Not voidy enough.
>> No, it's not void. Just make it purple,
man.
>> Okay. Yeah. Okay.
>> Look at that. I think the other one is
beautiful. I think that that silver moon
lovely. Your characters are going to be
in high Look. No. See, look. Your
characters stand in front of that. Your
characters are high contrast. you have
this like nice kind of glowing washed
out stuff. Um, yeah. Uh, and then the
void one is like it's just a bit purple
in the background. It's not purple in
the foreground. I don't like it. There's
some feedback.
>> Yeah, true. [laughter] Okay, there's
some feedback for you. But anyway, those
are coming.
>> Absolutely. Do this before you before
you save Zjam.
>> Um, look, I think most people are going
to disagree with you. I think most
people are going to say that one looks
much better
>> for for like the high contrast. Yeah,
maybe.
>> But I maybe maybe I'm wrong. I I prefer
the voidy one as well. um if I'm honest.
But oh no, you know what? I I I I take
what you're saying on board. You've
changed my mind. I prefer the other one
now. I'd like to see the flags being red
if I'm completely honest. The uh
>> I know. Why aren't they red, man? I
know. It's like, wait, that's a silver
moon.
>> Yeah,
>> that's a silver moon.
>> I'd like to see the flags be red just
because for my own I know they're blue
there in the game,
>> but I'd like to see them be red just
because I don't know. Just I would.
Okay.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I know. I know.
>> Um but no, you you convinced me. I like
I like I like this building. Oh, you
know, you convinced me. You know,
>> I just think your characters are going
to look good in front of that. If it's
too busy in the background, you're going
to get
>> confused. Do you know what? Do you know
what would be really awesome? I think
it'd be really cool if, uh, when you if
you had this one as your war band
screen.
>> Mhm.
>> The title music changed to being more
voidy like [laughter]
>> that's really really cool.
>> Um, yeah. So, uh, that's that's pretty
nice. And, uh, oh, that's the that's the
only other articles I had up really. So,
the only other thing I wanted to touch
on really quickly before we got to um
Q&A's
>> uh before we got to super chats,
>> yeah,
>> was Camelot.
>> Oh, right.
>> We talked a little bit about Camelot
last week and what that's going to mean,
but there there has been like, you know,
some a very interesting couple of Reddit
posts which would suggest
>> have
>> that maybe it is legit as well.
>> The ideas and the idea that um Oh,
whoops. That's not it. the idea that
um where did I put it? Oh, here it is.
>> Oh. Oh, right.
>> So, this timeline was posted apparently
last year, like in 2025 before Camelot
was known
>> on Reddit.
>> Yeah. On Reddit.
>> Okay.
>> There's reason to believe this might be
true. Okay.
>> Honestly, um I'm not saying it is. Like
I I always say any leak is fake because
99.9% of the time you're going to prove
to be right and then you can act all
clever about it. Okay. So, I I maintain
that here as well. I'm probably going to
veer on it being uh fake, but you know,
if it did actually come out in 2025,
this this uh screen print, which
apparently it did on the on the internet
archive, no one's found it apparently,
assuming that's true,
>> um then it obviously is correct when it
comes to the timeline of War Within and
uh Midnight so far. is correct on the
classic timeline and it places Camelot
in Q3 of 2026 which would be Blizzcon.
>> Yeah, it would be Blizzcon.
>> Uh and you know it's it's under the
classic umbrella Camelot.
So I mean
>> what do you think?
>> I don't know. It's the Arthus ARPG.
That's
>> I was gonna get to that later, but like
[laughter] judged on judged on this and
the thing is like if this is true,
>> you know, uh then um you know, we got we
got a Q3 2027 for Last Titan, which
okay, anyone could guess that, right?
>> Yeah.
>> Um but then you've got Warcraft
Chronicles RTS. And if I'm completely
honest, this is what makes me doubt it.
>> Yeah.
>> Like
>> anime series. Why does it have to say
anime series there?
>> Oh, in the RTS bit. Yeah. to coincide
with the anime series, I guess. But I
don't know. I Yeah, I agree. That seems
a bit
>> And this just seems like a Reddit wish
list, basically. Of course it is. And
this is where if if this is a fake leak,
this is where fake leaks always let
themselves down. They can't chill the
[ __ ] out. They can't just take a step
back. They always have to turn it into
like go a little bit too far.
>> Yeah. And you see that about like um
expansion leaks and stuff all the time.
It's like Blizzard are going to do this
and this and this
>> because they realize they [ __ ] up the
entire game. Oh no. Okay, you you you
you [ __ ] it. You [ __ ] your leak
here. Here you go. You let emotion get
away with you. Um and an Arthus ARPG.
[100:00] Like what the [ __ ] is that going to be?
[100:01] Him going to college or something? Like
[100:04] Arthus the college years.
[100:06] >> If it happens, I'm not going to hate it,
[100:08] you know?
[100:08] >> Really? You're not going to hate an
[100:10] Arthus RPG?
[100:12] >> Yeah. No, I just
[100:13] >> We can get Henry Cavill out. We can like
[100:15] put them in like Jana romance.
[100:16] >> We can put Henryville. He would love
[100:18] that in a [ __ ] like, you know,
[100:22] singlet, whatever. Yeah.
[100:24] >> Tighten them up and wheel him out to
[100:25] play 20-year-old Arthus in in moap,
[100:28] right? Be amazing. Um but uh yeah, I I
[100:31] find it very unlikely because of these
[100:32] bottom two things, which do seem like
[100:34] >> I don't know. It might actually make
[100:36] Arthus an interesting character for me.
[100:39] >> I don't think it would.
[100:40] >> But they have the potential to make him
[100:42] a little, you know, a little deeper
[100:43] there. Yeah,
[100:44] >> I don't know. I I don't um I I still
[100:47] don't buy this.
[100:48] >> I don't buy either. I don't believe that
[100:51] 14.0 would be called TBD.
[100:54] >> I uh Oh, no. Maybe it's called the the
[100:58] butt delvers or something.
[100:59] >> To be decided.
[101:00] >> No, I know.
[101:02] >> I know. Okay. You You did the joke so
[101:03] well. I didn't know you were joking.
[101:05] >> Oh, see that happens to me a lot. Um
[101:07] Yeah. So, no, I don't I don't believe
[101:09] that TBD would could be
[101:11] >> Well, also the mix of TBD and TBC,
[101:14] >> which is [laughter]
[101:17] um
[101:17] >> that's a joke as well.
[101:18] >> I know. I know. [laughter]
[101:21] >> Uh yeah, like I I you know, of course,
[101:23] you know, they're planning for the game.
[101:25] It maybe had doesn't have a settled
[101:27] title yet. Maybe the big deal.
[101:30] [laughter]
[101:32] >> Yeah. So, um I don't know. I'm not I'm
[101:35] not sold. I'm not sold, but
[101:38] >> I'm not sold either. I uh I'm not sure I
[101:40] buy it, honestly. But especially in this
[101:42] day of AI and stuff, like, you know, you
[101:45] have to take every leak with even more
[101:47] of a pinch of salt, right? So, uh but I
[101:49] thought it's worth bringing up, you
[101:51] know. Um
[101:51] >> I think it's worth bringing up. Yeah,
[101:53] totally.
[101:53] >> It will continue to live on.
[101:54] >> Also, I just feel sorry for whoever is
[101:56] in charge of the next Wrath of the Lich
[101:57] King classic because like it's getting
[102:00] buried under camo up there. Let's be
[102:02] real. [laughter]
[102:04] But anyway, yeah, there we go. So, uh,
[102:07] let us know what you think of that in
[102:08] the comments and let's get on to some
[102:10] super chats.
[102:11] >> Let's get these super chats going.
[102:13] >> I think we've done quite well
[102:14] considering we're literally melting.
[102:15] >> Yeah, you and my little PC friendly.
[102:18] >> Yeah, I've had I'm I I've got a nice uh
[102:21] nice focused fan on me. So, I'm I think
[102:24] I'm doing okay.
[102:25] >> Got a fan on us.
[102:26] >> Yes. One each. Um, so super chatters,
[102:29] thank you so much uh to everyone who has
[102:30] super chatted today. Uh, Erin Ethria,
[102:34] welcome to the team. Welcome to the
[102:36] team. Welcome. You have You have a
[102:39] lovely purple cadgar head. Enjoy. Enjoy
[102:41] your privileges. [laughter]
[102:44] >> Don't read about Yeah. Yeah. No. No.
[102:46] Because have a look at Chris W, our next
[102:49] super chatter. Look at that gleaming
[102:52] green cadgar. Look at that green cadgar.
[102:55] It doesn't read so well on super chats,
[102:56] but when you see him in chat, when you
[102:58] see them in chat, they look absolutely
[103:00] glorious. Uh Chris W, thank you and
[103:03] congratulations on your green cadgar
[103:04] head. Um I have to pause on the pork
[103:07] chop question for the summer. Yes, it
[103:10] will happen. We were just talking about
[103:12] about pork chops a couple days ago.
[103:13] >> Oh well, actually Annie was asking me to
[103:15] cook pork chops last night. Yeah, last
[103:16] night I said I would. So actually, yeah,
[103:19] >> definitely not in this heat though. [ __ ]
[103:20] that.
[103:20] >> Yeah. So just sending hugs and cooler
[103:22] air your way. Love the beach pics. Oh,
[103:24] thanks Chris. Um, oh, I don't know if
[103:27] you guys saw,
[103:29] but someone
[103:31] there there was a car. There was a
[103:32] number plate with my name on it, which
[103:35] we saw yesterday when we were walking
[103:37] home from the beach, and it was it
[103:42] boggled my mind and I had to like
[103:44] discreetly take my photo in front of it.
[103:47] Um,
[103:49] >> I got it.
[103:49] >> Yeah, there it is. Pull that up so
[103:51] everyone can see. And I did have to
[103:53] clarify like that's not fake because of
[103:56] course very easy to fake an image like
[103:58] this. That is real. That is not my car.
[104:02] That is a car that belongs to someone
[104:06] who either like parks in my neighborhood
[104:09] or lives in my neighborhood.
[104:11] >> Probably an Italian.
[104:13] >> Maybe an Italian driving a little Fiat.
[104:15] I don't know. I don't think everyone who
[104:16] drives a Fiat is an Italian.
[104:18] >> But if it is you,
[104:20] >> they are. You get an Italian passport if
[104:22] you drive a Fiat.
[104:24] >> Yeah. Uh if that if that is you, let me
[104:27] know because I saw this and I was like,
[104:30] wait, that's my name. But here's the
[104:33] crazy thing. You can very easily go
[104:36] online and find vehicle registrations in
[104:39] the UK.
[104:39] >> Wait, you are not only doxing this
[104:41] person, you're explaining how to dox
[104:42] them further.
[104:43] >> It does not provide any information
[104:44] about the owner of the vehicle.
[104:46] >> Okay, sorry.
[104:47] >> It literally does not provide any
[104:48] information. only it only provides just
[104:51] stuff about the vehicle itself, not the
[104:52] owner. Don't don't go crazy. Um, and I
[104:55] looked it up and it's not an EVI, it's
[104:59] an EV12.
[105:02] >> EV12. Yeah,
[105:02] >> EV12. This vehicle was registered in
[105:06] Essex in 2012.
[105:10] >> So, this is not a vanity plate. No one
[105:13] has dreamed it dreamed this up and been
[105:15] like, "Hey, can you put Evetel on my
[105:17] number plate?" This is literally just
[105:19] >> You looked it up though. Thank you.
[105:20] >> This is a number plate that exists.
[105:22] >> It just happens to have Everel on it.
[105:25] And I don't know what's crazier, like if
[105:27] that someone would actually put it on
[105:28] their thing or that like it just exists.
[105:31] >> That must mean that there's an Evie
[105:32] Towel number plate out there somewhere
[105:34] as well.
[105:35] >> Maybe
[105:35] >> Evie and
[105:36] >> it could be.
[105:37] >> Wow. If you see it, let us know.
[105:39] >> Yeah. Yeah. [laughter]
[105:41] Um Yeah. So, how cool is that? I know.
[105:45] And I was like, should I leave a note
[105:47] and be like, can I buy this car?
[105:51] >> Do we want a Fiat? I'm too tall for a
[105:54] >> It'll be my car.
[105:56] >> Okay.
[105:56] >> Yeah. Um, so yeah. So, weirdest
[105:59] coincidence ever. Likewise. And like I
[106:01] say, we literally walked by it on our
[106:03] walk home from the beach, got out of the
[106:05] sea, walked home, and it was there. And
[106:07] I was like, "Dang." Pretty awesome.
[106:08] >> Yeah. Super cool. Anyway, had to address
[106:11] that cuz that just kind of drove me
[106:14] Yeah. made me feel a little bit crazy.
[106:17] [laughter]
[106:17] >> Way back to the super chat. Uh, next one
[106:19] is Rico the Orc. Lovely to see you,
[106:21] Rico. Uh, hey. Hey, Evie. This is your
[106:24] friendly super chat reminder. Cheers and
[106:26] love. Nice sixpack, Tally.
[106:30] [laughter]
[106:30] What's up on IRL Shenigans? Give us an
[106:32] update. Uh, we have literally just been
[106:34] melting this week. Uh, but swimming a
[106:36] lot in the sea, which has felt really
[106:37] good.
[106:38] >> Yeah, we've gone to the beach every
[106:39] morning just for a quick dip before
[106:40] >> Yeah, we go in the beach. We go swim in
[106:42] there. We get in the water. cool down a
[106:44] bit. I took the kids to the beach
[106:46] yesterday after school.
[106:48] >> We live like literally 5 minutes away.
[106:50] >> Yeah, we we live right by it. And you
[106:51] know, plus side of living in Wales uh in
[106:54] a heat wave on the coast is that you can
[106:57] just make use of the sea. I'm really
[106:59] glad we have it. It makes me feel good.
[107:00] >> It's pretty awesome.
[107:01] >> That's it. And I'm glad you like Tally
[107:03] six-pack too.
[107:04] >> But I my my work rate has been very slow
[107:06] this week.
[107:06] >> Oh, it's been awful. It's been such a
[107:07] It's been a really bad week.
[107:09] >> So, it's going
[107:11] Yeah. very very bad time for work. But
[107:13] you know what? Here we are. We're
[107:16] picking things up again as things cool
[107:18] down because we're back to [ __ ] weather
[107:20] from Friday. It's [ __ ] weather again
[107:22] because it's either 86° or 65 degrees
[107:25] and raining and we're going back to 65
[107:27] degrees and raining. Can't wait. I love
[107:29] it. I love whales. Anyway, next one. Uh
[107:32] Erin Ethria, thank you. With all the
[107:34] discourse around Ammani troll models, do
[107:36] you think they will give us them in Last
[107:37] Titan with forest green and blue ice
[107:39] troll skin tones? I really hope we'll
[107:42] get them at some point. Yeah,
[107:43] >> it feels so disingenuous isn't the right
[107:46] word, but it feels so [ __ ] to be told
[107:48] that we will have Ammani troll
[107:49] customizations and them just being like
[107:51] some haircuts and tattoos. Like I really
[107:55] I need the body.
[107:56] >> You got to imagine this would be the
[107:57] patch to do it, right?
[107:58] >> It would be
[107:59] >> if you were going to give like the
[107:59] proper
[108:00] >> just going to drop them.
[108:02] >> As for like uh the the North trolls with
[108:07] the blue skin and stuff, right? Um, I
[108:10] mean, we we we talked a lot about the uh
[108:14] the fixing up the the reimagining of
[108:16] Northrren that's coming in the Last
[108:18] Titan.
[108:19] >> And something I and I've always been
[108:20] like, I don't think it's going to be the
[108:21] whole continent. I think there'll be big
[108:23] slabs of ice all around the place with
[108:24] zones that just aren't active anymore.
[108:26] You know, something I hadn't thought of,
[108:28] which was pointed out to me the other
[108:29] day, stupidly hadn't thought of. Of
[108:31] course, since North since Wrath of the
[108:34] Lich King, the Cataclysm happened,
[108:37] >> like that's the expansion after, right?
[108:39] And we've never canonically really been
[108:41] back.
[108:42] >> So, you know, like they are kind of free
[108:45] to do whatever they want to North End
[108:46] and just say Cataclysm did it. So, if
[108:49] they want to get rid of certain parts of
[108:52] North End, if they just don't want
[108:53] another troll patch or whatever, and
[108:55] like just get rid of the [ __ ] blue
[108:56] trolls, man. Like, they can just be
[108:58] like, "Catacly did it. It's gone now.
[108:59] Sorry. Cataclysm was harsh, man.
[109:02] Cataclysm was rough. And they can just
[109:03] basically they have free reign to do
[109:05] whatever they want because cataclysm
[109:07] >> blue trolls. You've got blue trolls on
[109:08] like the login screens, man.
[109:10] >> But but I hadn't even thought of that.
[109:11] >> Oh, you know what I'm talking about. The
[109:12] ice trolls though in Yeah. Yeah. But
[109:14] like, you know,
[109:17] >> yeah.
[109:17] >> Yeah.
[109:17] >> Like I hadn't I honestly hadn't even
[109:19] thought about Cataclysm and how that
[109:21] basically gives them free reign to do
[109:23] anything they want with with uh
[109:24] Northend,
[109:25] >> you know?
[109:26] >> I don't think people would appreciate
[109:27] that.
[109:27] >> I don't think so either. Uh, on a
[109:29] happier note, Captain Thunder sending 20
[109:33] gift memberships. Thank you so much,
[109:35] Captain Thunder. And congratulations to
[109:37] everyone who has received some Kadgar
[109:39] head action. Um, some emotes.
[109:43] Um, enjoy enjoy those. Please use them
[109:47] in chat. I worked very hard on uploading
[109:49] them here. There are many more I can
[109:51] still upload because there are so many
[109:52] of you because you guys rock. Um, so
[109:54] yeah. Thank you, Captain Thunder and
[109:56] Zarandi2.
[109:58] Welcome to the team.
[109:59] >> Very awesome guy.
[110:00] >> I love it. I love it. And Chris also
[110:02] gifting Chris W gifting another
[110:05] membership to the team. I love it. I
[110:06] love to see it. Uh, next one is from Jay
[110:08] Slade. Um, thank you J Slade. Val should
[110:12] have had Tuscars handing you sleds that
[110:14] you could ride around and give you one
[110:16] shot on enemies when you hit them with
[110:18] their horned sleds. Hell yeah.
[110:20] >> So, there's another thing in Val, sorry,
[110:22] what what this comment is referring to.
[110:23] There's another thing in Val where like
[110:25] you get on some ice and you start it
[110:27] takes you around really quick. You're
[110:28] like, it's like their equivalent of the
[110:29] mushrooms, I guess.
[110:30] >> Mhm.
[110:30] >> But I there's some way it's supposed to
[110:32] go with them, but I don't know where
[110:33] that is. I I like I
[110:36] >> I've never been able to find it. But
[110:37] they are quite good for getting around
[110:38] quite quickly. But yeah, obviously
[110:39] adding a Tuscar to the mix would make it
[110:41] 10 times better. Goes without saying.
[110:43] >> Agreed.
[110:43] >> Yeah, agreed.
[110:45] >> Um
[110:47] yes, that would be super cool. Uh and
[110:49] then next one, uh I welcome to the team.
[110:52] Yes. So good to have you. Thank you.
[110:54] Thank you. Enjoy. Um, and next one is
[110:56] from Argo Durga. Lovely to see you,
[110:58] friend. Hey, always happy to see you
[111:00] live. The flavor text, add this to your
[111:02] book collection for some data mind items
[111:04] is very exciting. Shout out to the
[111:06] Wonderswoods Wisdom Hood. Tough fun.
[111:08] Have you Have you seen this, Tally?
[111:09] >> Uh, no, I haven't actually.
[111:10] >> Um, so uh so there are some flavor text.
[111:14] >> Yeah.
[111:15] >> Uh in items. So this one is called The
[111:18] First Troll Legend. This is a book you
[111:20] you get in like classic or whatever
[111:23] vanilla wow. Um Sorry, I can't show this
[111:25] in not turn her PC on today.
[111:27] >> No, no, sorry. It's [laughter] again too
[111:28] hot. But uh instead of just like, you
[111:31] know, right click to read, there's some
[111:33] flavor text which says use add this book
[111:36] to your book collection.
[111:39] >> Looks like we're getting it, fam. And it
[111:41] becomes a placeable book that you can
[111:42] place in your player house and read
[111:44] whenever you click on it. Yes. And then
[111:47] suddenly we have functioning libraries
[111:48] in WoW. Suddenly we have a reason to go
[111:50] and collect every single book.
[111:51] >> Please,
[111:52] >> this has been So this was something.
[111:54] Please,
[111:55] >> just for those of you who don't
[111:56] understand the lore of this, right?
[111:57] >> Yeah, there is lore behind this.
[111:59] >> When I was lucky enough to be invited to
[112:01] Boston to uh
[112:04] uh um like play test player housing
[112:08] among with some other creators for the
[112:09] first time
[112:10] >> uh and being one of the first people
[112:12] outside of Blizzard to ever try player
[112:13] housing. Yay. Um
[112:15] >> when we were play testing it, this was
[112:18] something that was there. books in the
[112:21] inventory in your in your catalog, your
[112:23] player housing menu that you could place
[112:25] just like now, but they were then books
[112:28] that you could click on and read that
[112:30] existed in game. I think there was like
[112:32] one about the world tree uh from
[112:34] Dragonflight that was there and you you
[112:36] place it and you could move it around.
[112:38] You could blow it up and shrink it down
[112:39] just like any other item and you could
[112:40] put it on bookcases just like you can,
[112:42] but then you could click on it and you'd
[112:44] read it just like if you found it out in
[112:45] the world and you click and read it. And
[112:47] in the interview that I had with the dev
[112:48] team,
[112:50] >> um it was with Jesse actually, I was
[112:53] like, "Is this a thing that is gonna
[112:55] happen? Does this mean that, you know,
[112:57] we'll be able to go around and collect
[112:58] these books from around the world where
[112:59] they all are anyway and then place
[113:01] them?" And he said, "Yes."
[113:02] >> Is that Did you say that to your face?
[113:04] >> It's he said on video he said that was
[113:07] going to be a thing.
[113:08] >> Um but it hasn't yet been a thing. So
[113:11] this would be a very cool thing. It
[113:12] would be cool if it does happen because
[113:14] you keep talking about it and I didn't
[113:15] go to Boston so I just have to trust
[113:17] you.
[113:18] >> You never watch any of our videos
[113:19] either. So how would you know?
[113:19] >> Exactly. How would I know? And so I'm
[113:21] like how you know is how keeps going on
[113:24] about this thing as if it was real.
[113:26] [laughter]
[113:28] >> So yeah I I hope I hope that's I hope
[113:30] that's the thing. I hope that's real. I
[113:32] would love that. That would absolutely
[113:33] rule. Fingers crossed. That is what it
[113:35] is about.
[113:37] There are there's a not insignificant
[113:40] amount of the player base that would
[113:41] literally
[113:42] >> spend a couple of days going around
[113:43] getting every book.
[113:44] >> Absolutely.
[113:45] >> In the game so that they could
[113:47] >> make a library and then would make a
[113:49] fun. Can you imagine if you went into a
[113:51] library and it wasn't just like the
[113:52] movable bookcase over and over again,
[113:54] but like literally filled with
[113:56] individual books that you could click
[113:57] on.
[113:57] >> Yeah,
[113:59] that would be amazing.
[114:00] >> It would be so good. Do you I I I've
[114:03] never known the answer to this. Are we
[114:04] allowed to like read the books out loud
[114:08] and say like make a video of, you know,
[114:11] me in theory reading all the steamy
[114:13] romance novels?
[114:14] >> Yes, it's been done. Yes, you can.
[114:15] >> Really?
[114:16] >> Yeah.
[114:16] >> I got to get on that.
[114:18] >> Yeah, get on it. Come on, man.
[114:19] >> I would love that. I would love to do
[114:20] that.
[114:21] >> Just me reading them. Yeah.
[114:23] >> Or maybe you maybe one for who?
[114:25] Whichever voice you would prefer reading
[114:27] your Stevie romance novels.
[114:29] >> Make it so.
[114:30] >> Okay, next project. Um, awesome. Next
[114:33] one. Uh, Zakaryi Cooper, lovely to see
[114:36] you late. I will catch tomorrow morning.
[114:38] We'll be going to bed soon from
[114:39] Australia. P.S. not enjoying Val
[114:42] compared to Nike. Looking forward to
[114:43] hero rating with my guild next season. I
[114:46] think that's a good attitude to have.
[114:47] Yeah. Don't like it. We we we roll. We
[114:51] keep going.
[114:52] >> We'll see you next season.
[114:53] >> We talk about the gaming improvements
[114:54] for heroic raiding next season, didn't
[114:56] we? Last week. Yeah.
[114:57] >> Yeah. Absolutely. Yeah. I think it's
[114:59] going to be really promising. Um, thank
[115:01] you for that one, Zakaryi Cooper. Next
[115:03] one is super Chadster. Thank you. Hey
[115:05] legends, some funds to turn up the air.
[115:08] >> Thank you.
[115:09] >> Let me just position my fan.
[115:11] >> Six. Oh my god.
[115:14] Oh, thanks mate. Appreciate that.
[115:16] >> Thank you for that one.
[115:18] >> H. Next one is from Iarai. I have joined
[115:21] the team. Looking forward to being
[115:23] demoted to gray next month.
[115:26] You will like it. I promise. Question.
[115:29] Do you think we'll get any more Warbound
[115:31] screens soon? I want a Zulleamon screen.
[115:33] Zulon will be awesome. Yeah,
[115:36] >> I Yeah, there's like I don't think
[115:37] there's much, you know, sky's is the
[115:38] limit for warb band screens, right? Like
[115:40] I think they can come up with quite a
[115:42] few. It makes sense to make thematic
[115:44] that they the ones we have had so far
[115:46] are thematic. They in keeping with the
[115:47] patches. So, Zulaman would rock. I would
[115:51] like that. Please, let's have it.
[115:54] >> Okay, next one. Greyhawk. Thank you,
[115:56] Greyhawk. WoW has a broad player base,
[115:59] but it seems like some highle players
[116:01] can't accept when content is made for
[116:03] casuals, like housing and world content.
[116:06] >> Yeah.
[116:06] >> Yeah,
[116:07] >> completely agree.
[116:08] >> Yeah, you get a broad player base. You
[116:09] get people who play for loads of
[116:10] reasons. You get people who get upset
[116:11] about other people playing for other
[116:13] reasons. Unfortunately, it's all all
[116:15] part of the ecosystem.
[116:16] >> It still blows my mind when I see people
[116:17] like trying to make a discourse around
[116:19] housing being a flop or something.
[116:21] >> Yeah. Or like no one cares about
[116:25] resources. No contrast. I know.
[116:28] >> Holy [ __ ]
[116:28] >> I know. I feel like you know the people
[116:30] handing the accounts at Activision
[116:31] Blizzard are like this is not a waste of
[116:33] de resources. [laughter]
[116:34] >> Yeah, exactly. Like it's like like doing
[116:36] their duck diving into piles of gold
[116:40] scooping in the like real gold and being
[116:42] >> a waste of what? [laughter]
[116:43] >> A what? I can't hear you over the
[116:46] tinkling of gold.
[116:47] >> Um yeah, I agree, Greyhawk. Yeah, it's
[116:50] just the reality. Uh next one is from
[116:52] Omadon. Uh, please never abandon your
[116:55] solid anti-spoiler disciplines. Social
[116:58] media has none. The WoW cast has none.
[117:00] It's bleak out here for Wildcast. I
[117:02] [laughter] mean,
[117:02] >> Wow. just dropped like all this insane.
[117:06] >> Even if I wanted to be able to
[117:08] experience the story like
[117:10] chronologically and without spoilers, I
[117:12] could not.
[117:12] >> Problem solved by just putting the the
[117:14] story quests in the first week
[117:16] >> of of the patch like they should have
[117:17] done anyway.
[117:18] >> I know.
[117:19] >> Problem solved. You wouldn't have had
[117:21] long to do it, but you could you could
[117:22] at least say that it had been out before
[117:24] the spoiler, right?
[117:24] >> Yeah, exactly. Exactly.
[117:26] >> But it's still not out. The spoiler was
[117:27] two weeks ago.
[117:30] >> Yep. Um
[117:31] >> or a week ago.
[117:32] >> Yeah. Next one is from GC Sage. Hey
[117:35] guys, first time chatter. Hey, welcome.
[117:37] I never usually get to watch these live.
[117:39] Just wanted to show my support from
[117:41] Nebraska. Oh, and say I appreciate you
[117:44] guys. Oh, thank you. Gi GC Sage, we
[117:47] appreciate you too.
[117:48] >> We do. Thank you, mate. Do you know
[117:49] anything about Nebraska? Have you been
[117:50] there?
[117:51] >> No.
[117:51] >> Oh,
[117:52] >> no.
[117:52] >> Where is it? I'm hot with my American
[117:54] States.
[117:54] >> Midwest.
[117:56] >> Cool.
[117:56] >> Yeah.
[117:57] >> Yeah. Not cool. Probably very hot,
[117:58] right?
[117:59] >> Is it hot down there?
[118:00] >> Can be.
[118:01] >> Yeah. Yeah. I bet it is.
[118:02] >> Kind of middle middle of the road.
[118:04] >> Awesome.
[118:05] >> Yeah.
[118:05] >> Well, we'll put it on the list. Let's
[118:06] go.
[118:07] >> I'd love to go to Nebraska. Uh, next one
[118:09] is from Lentil Shine. Tally, I can't
[118:13] believe you made a your mom joke to
[118:14] Erator and now he's so sad she's dead.
[118:18] tragic.
[118:19] >> It's the power I wield. I can't help it.
[118:22] I can't help it. I I I spotted that Zul
[118:26] Jam was getting villain batted and that
[118:28] means I I'm happy with it and I made it
[118:30] happen.
[118:31] >> I Yeah, I made a narrator your mom joke
[118:33] and now she's now she's dead. That's the
[118:35] power.
[118:35] >> Yeah.
[118:36] >> I my my your mom jokes are so powerful.
[118:40] >> Anyone I make them to that it turns out
[118:42] their mom's dead. It's what
[118:44] statistically highly unlikely, but every
[118:46] time
[118:47] >> [laughter]
[118:48] >> madness. I It's my own fault. I need to
[118:51] with with my great power comes great
[118:53] responsibility.
[118:53] >> Absolutely. Yeah. Absolutely. Next one
[118:56] is up from Buddy, also member of the
[118:58] team and friend. Uh lovely to see you,
[119:00] Buddy. Cheers, friends. Blizzcon is in
[119:02] 11 weeks.
[119:04] >> Can't wait to see y'all there. And the
[119:05] live weekly reset.
[119:07] >> Oh, get out.
[119:08] >> Yeah, I know. Feels early for a last
[119:10] Titan blowout might hinder moment
[119:12] Midnight's momentum. Still think they'll
[119:14] do it? I don't know. the closer we get
[119:16] to it, I'm still like
[119:18] >> still so deep in midnight. Like
[119:20] >> I'm so certain.
[119:20] >> You think so?
[119:21] >> Yeah, I I I agree that it's going to
[119:23] kind of be weird,
[119:25] >> but at least 2.1 will be out.
[119:27] >> Uh the whole Kithic thing will be quite
[119:29] wellnown by then.
[119:31] >> Um
[119:31] >> 12.2.
[119:33] >> Yeah. You know, I I 12.2. Yeah. I mean,
[119:37] I think they'll have to do what they did
[119:38] with kind of Shadowlands.
[119:40] >> Yeah. and be like, "Well,
[119:44] uh, I've got a feeling that whatever's
[119:49] whatever Zat's got planned and however
[119:51] it all ends, it's going to work out that
[119:53] we're all okay."
[119:55] >> Mhm.
[119:55] >> Sort of. And anyway, let's see what
[119:58] happens next,
[120:00] >> I guess. Yeah. you know, um I think
[120:03] >> I think we, you know, we're so used to
[120:06] the next thing being announced now while
[120:08] we're still playing the old thing that
[120:10] it, you know, it feels uh feels like
[120:12] they could do it. Feel like it's in
[120:14] keeping with the the process now.
[120:16] >> Um yeah. Uh next one. I sell cabbages.
[120:19] Lovely green cadgar head. Lovely to see
[120:21] you. Morning, Tiny. I haven't jumped
[120:23] into WoW in like two weeks. This is very
[120:25] healthy attitude. I'm just waiting for
[120:27] the new quest line to start. Any other
[120:28] games you guys have been playing? No,
[120:31] but uh I keep getting like recommended
[120:36] uh stuff on Instagram and other
[120:37] platforms. Um like hints, subliminal
[120:42] hints that I need to play Plscape
[120:43] Torment.
[120:45] >> Like I have been I have been told to
[120:47] play Plscape Torment, okay, by multiple
[120:49] people. I have been like been pushed
[120:52] hints to do it uh on like my socials and
[120:56] just being online. It just looks so up
[120:59] my alley. And I I saw actually um I saw
[121:03] a a a real a clip or whatever a thing on
[121:07] Instagram that was like uh video games
[121:09] with like the most words written in
[121:12] them.
[121:13] And number one was uh King Jun come
[121:17] Deliverance 2.
[121:18] >> Oh wow. Okay. I believe it for all the
[121:21] potential working you know story lines.
[121:24] Uh, number two was Boulders's Gate 3.
[121:28] Unsurprising. Number three was
[121:30] Discoysium.
[121:31] >> No way. Yeah,
[121:32] >> that really surprises me.
[121:33] >> Yeah. Uh, it does not surprise me in the
[121:35] slightest. Number four was Plscape
[121:37] Torment. And I was like, I like all this
[121:42] words. I know like more words does not
[121:44] necessarily equal better, but I'm like I
[121:46] am really really into this idea.
[121:49] >> Yeah.
[121:49] >> Um, yeah. I think maybe five of like G
[121:51] GTA or something, but I need to um
[121:55] >> I mean GTA is huge, but I mean 10 years
[121:57] old now, right?
[121:58] >> Oh, no. Witcher was five. The Witcher 3
[121:59] was five. Yeah, The Witcher 3 was five.
[122:02] Um so yeah, uh I got to get on that.
[122:05] >> Cool.
[122:05] >> Have you been playing anything?
[122:07] >> No, actually I I still need to pop
[122:08] through my playthrough of uh Discoysium.
[122:11] It's just been like it's been a tough
[122:13] couple of weeks.
[122:14] >> It's been a hectic couple of weeks.
[122:16] >> Yeah. Wow. She's keeping us on our
[122:17] >> to our I didn't even played FIFA this
[122:18] year either in a World Cup yet. I didn't
[122:21] even get FIFA this year. Yeah, I know.
[122:23] Crazy. I I usually love a little FIFA. I
[122:26] think FIFA playing on manager mode is
[122:28] one of the best RPG games you get. I
[122:31] think it's one of the best RPGs.
[122:33] >> It's brilliant. You get your players,
[122:34] you invest in them, they create like
[122:36] it's an RPG in the same way that like
[122:38] XCOM is an RPG, right? You know, the
[122:40] little stories just happen, you know? um
[122:43] uh and and the relationships kind of
[122:45] form by in your mind between like the
[122:48] characters and like the hoops and stuff
[122:50] and what happens to them in the various
[122:52] missions and it's it's just like that
[122:54] like FIFA is just like that you know and
[122:56] the stories that kind of get written
[122:58] around uh the interactions and your team
[123:01] and stuff. It's great. I I it's a
[123:03] fantastic RPG FIFA and I will die on
[123:04] that hill.
[123:05] >> Yeah, [laughter] I'm really happy for
[123:07] you.
[123:08] >> Yes, thank you.
[123:09] >> Um okay, we got a few more to get
[123:10] through. Uh next one is from Joe you
[123:12] love. Lovely to see you, Joe. When will
[123:14] we fix the warband screen bug where my
[123:15] alts are in the wrong colors? They
[123:17] continue during my day. A
[123:18] >> every time.
[123:20] >> Yeah.
[123:20] >> Like every time I I go into my login
[123:24] screen and my main mangi, beautiful,
[123:26] perfect maneuver, who is dressed usually
[123:29] in like a long leather jacket and just
[123:31] very demur, very low fantasy. Half the
[123:34] time when I go onto the screen, she's
[123:35] there in like a chain mail bikini, high
[123:38] boots, and I'm like, "Stop it.
[123:39] >> Oh, how dare you? That was my
[123:41] experimentation tab.
[123:42] >> Yeah. [laughter]
[123:44] [clears throat]
[123:46] >> Yeah, it's a thing. Hopefully they fix
[123:48] it soon.
[123:48] >> Yeah,
[123:49] >> they're working on it.
[123:49] >> Yeah.
[123:50] >> Uh, next one is from Spirit Walk. Wow.
[123:52] Thank you. Uh, loved uh the tier set
[123:55] video. A thanks. What are your favorite
[123:57] tier sets overall for Hunter and Priest
[123:58] after all this time? Oh,
[124:01] tough one because I usually don't love
[124:03] Hunter tier sets. [laughter]
[124:06] They're usually they they usually don't
[124:07] do it for me. It's usually like
[124:09] literally leveling sets that I love and
[124:10] I go for.
[124:11] >> You like the the Legion one, don't you?
[124:13] The classic Legion.
[124:14] >> The Legion one is really really good.
[124:16] For some reason, I love wearing that one
[124:18] with like a pair of little like gold
[124:19] rimmed glasses just to like tone down
[124:22] the the hunteriness. But yeah, I love
[124:24] the Legion sets. I think they look
[124:25] really beautiful. Obviously, they look
[124:27] really good with the Legion artifacts as
[124:29] well, like the you know, the same
[124:30] colorways. Oh, yeah. Yeah, true.
[124:32] >> Legion sets roll. Yeah, I'll have to go
[124:33] with the Legion Hunter ones. What about
[124:35] you?
[124:36] >> I I really like the Legion presets as
[124:37] well. Yeah,
[124:38] >> I think they're really good. Um, I like
[124:42] uh it's one of my favorites actually.
[124:45] >> Definitely the Legion one. Um, Priest
[124:47] has been eating so well in the last
[124:49] couple of expansions. Like great. I'm
[124:52] always so jealous. Not a huge fan of the
[124:54] one this season.
[124:55] >> Yeah.
[124:55] >> Or indeed last season at the end of War
[124:57] Within, but the the two before that in
[124:59] War Within were absolute bangers. Uh
[125:02] that classic one from uh Dragon Flight
[125:05] with the the kind of the mask, you know,
[125:08] the scary mask and the like
[125:10] >> very good
[125:11] >> long jackety bits like
[125:13] >> very good.
[125:13] >> [ __ ] great. Any like
[125:17] >> long jacket looking thing is [ __ ]
[125:19] cool, man. Love that. So good.
[125:22] >> Yeah. So, uh I I would say I would say
[125:24] in modern times they're among my
[125:26] favorite tier sets for priests. Yeah.
[125:27] They've been doing really really well.
[125:28] >> Yeah. Uh, and another one from Spirit
[125:31] Walk. Wow. Also, Make It Monkey had me
[125:33] dying laughing. Thank you. Made me laugh
[125:36] too as I said it out. [laughter]
[125:39] Thank you for that one. Uh, next one is
[125:40] from uh, Senior Sonatada. Do you think
[125:43] there will be a bed pet bed feature for
[125:47] alt placement in housing? That's cash
[125:49] shop gold right there. It is. Have you
[125:51] seen
[125:52] >> They can't get away with putting that on
[125:53] the cash.
[125:53] >> No, they can't. Did you see Have you
[125:55] seen the forms that your pet bed can
[125:57] take?
[125:57] >> Yes.
[125:58] >> Have you seen them? Lily pads.
[125:59] >> Lily pad. Cute little stone thing. Cuz
[126:02] yeah, my worry was like, I don't want 10
[126:04] [ __ ] pet beds taken up my house.
[126:07] Like, I'm sorry. I want my pets out, but
[126:09] I want their, you know, beds to either
[126:12] be very intentional or very hidden away
[126:13] and subtle. And yeah, you have a huge
[126:16] range. And I, you know, I have a feeling
[126:18] for alt placement, like we've talked
[126:20] about before, that might be the way your
[126:22] your alt bed, maybe your alt chair.
[126:25] >> I'm not even joking. Yeah, like your alt
[126:27] pedestal, your alt platform that they
[126:29] like stand on.
[126:30] >> Obviously, there are complications with
[126:32] alts that aren't in place for pets. Like
[126:34] a pet always looks the same.
[126:36] >> And what do you do about transmog? What
[126:38] do you do about like um Well, I mean,
[126:40] you could you can set a transmog for the
[126:42] warb band screen.
[126:43] >> You know, it's an option there whether
[126:44] or not it [ __ ] works. Um but it's
[126:46] there. Could you have in your transmog
[126:49] tab like a situation, you know,
[126:52] controlled in your house, right? like
[126:55] when in there already is an option for
[126:57] in your house. I mean that would be that
[126:59] right. So actually yeah that's not such
[127:02] an issue in that case but I'm sure like
[127:04] it's more complicated codewise to drag
[127:06] your [ __ ] alts into your house and
[127:08] have them walking around their pet. I'm
[127:09] sure.
[127:10] >> Um but
[127:11] >> I think you know that's the next step
[127:14] certainly and we know it's something
[127:15] they do what they said before that they
[127:17] want it to happen and getting pets is is
[127:19] the first step of that. So although I
[127:22] could never put a timeline on it, you've
[127:24] got to say that's a a guarantee, right?
[127:26] You've got to say that's like
[127:28] >> definitely going to happen. Hopefully
[127:30] this expansion,
[127:32] >> you know, I would hope
[127:34] >> that would be a a 12.2
[127:37] >> feature at the latest, honestly.
[127:39] >> You know, I just want it to happen. It's
[127:40] really important for what I want from
[127:42] housing. Like, and that would be that
[127:43] and the books. Oh my god, that's my two
[127:46] biggest things about housing, aren't But
[127:48] then how are [clears throat] they going
[127:49] to keep you playing Tally if they give
[127:50] you everything you want right away?
[127:52] >> Uh because they give me everything I
[127:53] want in housing and they literally keep
[127:55] me playing forever. [laughter]
[127:57] >> Like it's as simple as that.
[127:58] >> Mhm.
[127:59] >> You know.
[127:59] >> Yeah.
[128:00] >> Um yeah. Yeah. I'm not waiting for that
[128:02] stuff to happen. I need it to be there
[128:03] and then I'm more likely to play
[128:05] forever. Like simple as that. But yeah,
[128:08] I want I want it cuz I want wandering
[128:10] around my house when I'm in there. But I
[128:12] also want
[128:13] >> other people's characters walking around
[128:15] when I go and visit their houses as
[128:17] well. Also, just think of like the
[128:18] staging opportunities, right? Like, you
[128:20] know, you can create your whole, you
[128:22] know,
[128:24] >> I'm really sorry, but like, you know,
[128:26] you can make a brothel and you can put
[128:28] all your all your alts and skimpy gear
[128:30] and then I'll be there. Or, you know,
[128:32] >> that was your first
[128:33] >> No, because I I just thought I just
[128:35] tried to become like a a WoW player for
[128:38] a moment. I tried to get into the head
[128:39] of like a WoW player
[128:41] >> cuz I'm not one. No, no, no. Okay. A
[128:45] party, but I mean like, you know, cuz
[128:47] Exactly. But, you know, you can have a
[128:49] party. You can have a party situation,
[128:51] but I'm thinking more of like, you know,
[128:52] you can come up with like very specific
[128:54] scenarios in which you need a you're you
[128:57] need an army of alts walking around.
[128:59] >> But then, but then there's the extra
[129:01] thing, right, where, you know, if I do
[129:03] have a chair or a bed for an alt, let's
[129:06] say I I've got one for my orc alt,
[129:09] right?
[129:09] >> And that means he's wandering around
[129:11] like a pet would be. Well, I don't I
[129:13] don't want him wandering around if I'm
[129:15] in the house on that character.
[129:17] >> Yeah.
[129:17] >> You know, I if I if I go into the house
[129:19] on an on that character, I don't I
[129:21] obviously don't want him wandering
[129:22] around there anymore. So, that's an
[129:24] extra trigger that has to be there.
[129:25] >> Yeah.
[129:26] >> It's just way more complicated. Of
[129:27] course, it is, right? But, you know, is
[129:29] [clears throat] what it is.
[129:31] >> But, we have had confirmation that you
[129:32] can have up to 10 pets wandering around
[129:34] your house. Jesse himself said that. So,
[129:36] um that's pretty awesome.
[129:37] >> Yeah. Really, really good. Uh okay. Uh,
[129:41] next one is from JJ Smithy. Thank you.
[129:44] Hello, lovelies. At the end of the lower
[129:45] lore walking stuff, they talk about how
[129:46] the dark sphere haven't had a hashura
[129:49] yet. Foreshadowing.
[129:51] >> Yeah. And they're like, "We haven't had
[129:53] a hashura yet, and I just wish that when
[129:56] we did have one, he'd have a broken
[129:59] tooth."
[130:00] >> They didn't say that.
[130:02] >> Yeah.
[130:03] >> You see what I'm getting at?
[130:04] >> I get what you're saying. Yes.
[130:05] [laughter]
[130:06] >> Yes. They have left that door open
[130:09] >> for sure.
[130:10] >> The role will be filled. Yeah. Yeah. I
[130:13] mean, uh, they've been setting Vuljin up
[130:15] that for a while, I think, haven't they?
[130:17] Um, so, uh, yeah, I I can definitely see
[130:19] it happening.
[130:19] >> Yeah, it would be cool.
[130:20] >> Yes.
[130:21] >> Uh, next one's from
[130:22] >> that would involve putting having Vulg
[130:24] in the [ __ ] story, though. So,
[130:25] >> Oh, well, I know. I know. They'll
[130:26] actually have to use him in the story
[130:28] properly. Next one is from Omadon. Uh,
[130:30] thank you so much, friend. Lovely to see
[130:32] you. Are we in agreement that The Last
[130:33] Titan's big evergreen game update has to
[130:36] be a gamewide racial customization
[130:39] overhaul? It's got to be, right?
[130:43] >> Yes. Uh no. Um
[130:45] >> Um Well,
[130:47] >> so the thing here's here's how I feel
[130:50] about the uh the racial customization uh
[130:55] overall. Oh, uh I just don't I just
[130:57] don't think it's their priority at all.
[131:00] >> I just don't
[131:02] Uh, customization. Sorry. Okay. No,
[131:04] sorry. That's what I thought you meant
[131:05] and I thought you meant something else.
[131:06] Now I realize that's what you mean
[131:07] again. Sorry. It's really hot. So,
[131:08] here's how I feel about the racial
[131:09] customization thing.
[131:11] >> It's not an expansion feature. And I
[131:14] don't think you should want it to be an
[131:15] expansion feature either because we've
[131:18] had a racial customization overhaul as
[131:21] an expansion feature before in
[131:23] Shadowlands and it it didn't there's
[131:26] loads of great stuff about it which I
[131:27] really liked but the problem is they
[131:29] stopped at that. Okay. So what I want to
[131:32] see from uh a racial um customization
[131:37] feature is not this is this is an
[131:39] expansion feature. I need it to be a
[131:42] commitment
[131:44] to
[131:45] a steady roll out of uh customizations
[131:51] forever.
[131:52] >> You know, I need it to be I don't I
[131:54] don't want them to the extent where I
[131:56] actually don't want them to stand up
[131:58] >> uh for Last Titan and go and one of the
[132:00] box features, one of the major features
[132:02] of this expansion is we're doing,
[132:04] >> you know, customization overhaul. I
[132:06] don't want that because there won't be
[132:07] enough and there'll be ones that you
[132:10] want that aren't there and blah blah
[132:11] just like with Shadowlands, right?
[132:13] >> Um and what I want is for them to stand
[132:15] up and go
[132:16] >> and you know we are committing to
[132:21] rolling out these and constantly working
[132:23] on them and it being an evergreen thing
[132:25] that we're always adding to forever like
[132:28] um so in a way I don't want it to be a
[132:30] war within feature. I want it to be
[132:32] something that they put out a blue about
[132:34] one day and be like, "Here's something
[132:36] important."
[132:37] >> Yeah.
[132:37] >> Uh we're committing to this.
[132:38] >> They can announce it at BlizzCon, but
[132:40] not as a feature being.
[132:41] >> And you'll see the first bunch of them
[132:43] with release and obviously they're going
[132:44] to be focused around major patches and
[132:46] stuff like that. So like yes, you'll see
[132:48] the first roll out of these on the
[132:50] launch of uh War Within, but it's not
[132:53] >> it's not a War Within feature. It's just
[132:55] Sorry, Last Titan. It's not a Last Titan
[132:57] feature. It's just something that we're
[132:59] beginning in Last Titan. This is just
[133:00] the beginning.
[133:01] >> Yeah.
[133:02] >> That's what I That's what I want to see.
[133:05] It It makes me a bit nervous when people
[133:06] start talking about it as an expansion.
[133:08] Not Not what you were doing, but I see
[133:10] people talking about it as an expansion
[133:11] feature and I'm like, "No, actually
[133:13] that's that's we kind of want it to be
[133:15] much more than that." Yeah, definitely.
[133:18] >> Uh
[133:18] >> which is what are kind of doing with
[133:20] stuff at the moment anyway. So, I can
[133:21] see that way. Yeah, I'm with you.
[133:23] >> A commitment like housing. Exactly.
[133:24] Yeah.
[133:25] >> Uh next one is from Jay Baronovski.
[133:27] Thank you so much for the super chat.
[133:29] What challenges have you had to overcome
[133:31] when it comes to running a business with
[133:33] a partner? If you're in the middle of an
[133:35] argument but contractually obligated to
[133:38] produce a video together, I imagine
[133:39] that's difficult.
[133:40] >> I think the main difficulty, I'm sure
[133:42] Everel will agree with me here, is being
[133:44] in a house together all day. All you
[133:46] want to do is plow.
[133:47] >> Like, it's so tough. Like, and with me
[133:50] being so sexy and with Everel being so
[133:52] attracted to me, she's just like, "Let's
[133:55] skip the podcast today and just do it,
[133:58] daddy." And I'm like, "Well, we got to
[134:00] do the podcast, though, guys." And and
[134:03] she's like, "It doesn't matter. You'll
[134:04] just look a bit sweaty when we start.
[134:06] Let's just like let's just [ __ ] it all
[134:08] off, right?" And I'm like,
[134:08] >> "Yeah, Tally's always turning me down
[134:10] for work."
[134:11] >> Ever tell, please be professional. All
[134:14] right. We just can't keep doing this. We
[134:17] got to get some videos done. All right.
[134:19] You know, um, so that I would say that's
[134:22] probably the hardest part. What about
[134:23] you?
[134:23] >> Yeah. Yeah. That was what I was going to
[134:25] [laughter] say. It's just a constant
[134:26] rejection. They're like, "No, babe. No,
[134:29] babe. I got to make a thumbnail.
[134:32] >> Babe, can you get out from under there
[134:33] because I got to I got to go go and find
[134:37] Chronicle to check a reference."
[134:39] >> No, but we are we are lucky that we like
[134:41] each other and we like working together
[134:43] and we like making stuff together. I
[134:44] know that's a very specific combination
[134:48] of of of traits. I think we've talked
[134:51] about this on a couple of podcasts
[134:52] before, other people's podcasts, but
[134:55] >> like one thing about being a parent that
[134:56] I've noticed is you meet a lot of other
[134:58] parents obviously uh at school and stuff
[135:02] like that. And one of the things that
[135:03] kind of
[135:04] >> I've never known so many married people
[135:06] before as a result, right?
[135:07] >> Oh yeah. Yeah. like our entire social
[135:09] circle is like couples like an in person
[135:11] dayto-day social circle daytoday kids
[135:14] oriented social circle
[135:15] >> but you know I don't it just from the
[135:19] outside and the way people talk about
[135:20] their partners a lot just doesn't seem
[135:22] like other people like each other as
[135:24] much as we seem to
[135:26] >> well other people have different
[135:27] dynamics like other people want
[135:29] different things from their partners you
[135:31] know other people are different with
[135:33] their partners in public maybe they're
[135:34] different you know like it's a
[135:36] >> November Everyone's different.
[135:38] >> I can't imagine anything better than
[135:40] working with you and spending time with
[135:42] you and like it's brilliant.
[135:43] >> Yeah. My my my favorite thing is like
[135:45] sometimes chatting with like some of the
[135:47] parents, like some of the moms, you
[135:48] know, like at the school and being like,
[135:50] "Oh,
[135:51] >> yeah." It's like, "Oh." And he's like,
[135:52] "Are you working today?" It's like,
[135:53] "Yeah, yeah, yeah." It's like, "Oh, you
[135:54] you guys working today?" It's like,
[135:55] "Yeah, yeah." It's like, "Oh, you know,
[135:57] you you and Tally just see we see you
[136:00] guys out and about together. You seem to
[136:01] get along." It's like, "Yeah, yeah, I I
[136:05] hope so. [laughter]
[136:06] I I I should It's just funny to me that
[136:10] they need it as a compliment. They're
[136:11] not like, but it does strike me as well.
[136:13] Yeah, she's my wife. I do like her.
[136:15] >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So,
[136:17] >> but obviously there are there are
[136:18] chances and yeah, there were some times
[136:19] when we had a row and then you have to
[136:21] just like knuckle down and make some
[136:22] content. It's like, you know, our rows
[136:25] are never that serious really. Well, we
[136:28] have some rows. We just
[136:29] >> I think we dis we disagree about things
[136:31] because we're people.
[136:33] >> Yeah. And sometimes, you know, I haven't
[136:35] done the washing up or whatever, and
[136:36] that's annoying, too. And but like I I I
[136:39] think it's a great blessing and
[136:40] privilege to be able to work with uh
[136:42] with my wife and and we get paid exactly
[136:45] the same as well. That's actually kind
[136:46] of a cool thing. I kind of like that.
[136:48] >> A great equalizer.
[136:49] >> Yeah, it is a great equalizer. And um
[136:51] you know, it's it's it's nice that we
[136:53] get to go away on work trips together
[136:56] and you know, they are work trips, but
[136:57] we get little holidays [laughter] for us
[136:58] as well time. And feel very lucky to do
[137:01] that. [clears throat] Yeah, it's
[137:02] genuinely it's genuinely really lovely
[137:04] to do and um I feel very lucky. I would
[137:07] re you know it's not for everyone
[137:08] obviously but um it is for one thing
[137:11] that we found very hard at the very
[137:12] beginning because we've got much more of
[137:14] a work dynamic now because we've been
[137:15] working together for 10 years right but
[137:18] um in the beginning when we first
[137:19] started we we reset and stuff it was
[137:21] quite hard because you know I come from
[137:23] a performance background all my family
[137:25] are actors uh directors that kind of
[137:28] thing um so I'm I'm I'm used to clicking
[137:31] into work mode with them because I've
[137:33] worked with them before uh with with
[137:35] stuff and and just being in work mode
[137:36] suddenly. So, it's like you're in
[137:37] directing mode now. You're telling
[137:39] someone and as an actor, I like to be
[137:41] directed um and stuff like that. So,
[137:43] when we first started doing the weekly
[137:44] reset, I think it was quite shocking to
[137:46] ever tell when I suddenly clicked into
[137:48] director mode and I was like, "Oh, no,
[137:49] no, no." Uh
[137:51] >> like, "No, no, no." And like I remember
[137:52] being like one, "How dare you criticize
[137:55] me to my how dare you?" I'm usually very
[137:58] good at taking criticism, but um
[138:00] >> how dare you. But then also like I
[138:02] remember, you know, the the like, you
[138:05] know, the the tears kicking in and being
[138:07] like uh I'm not perfect in your eyes.
[138:11] I'm not I didn't just say how how can
[138:14] you say that to me, you know? And like I
[138:16] remember feel like you know I and you
[138:19] know I I think I um
[138:20] >> but also I wasn't aware of it and I was
[138:22] being much harsher you than I should
[138:23] have done because I was just in I was
[138:25] just in that mode, right? And that's how
[138:27] I that's how it's always been for me.
[138:30] I know and uh you know cuz you don't you
[138:32] don't typically you know in a in a
[138:34] relationship you know you wouldn't
[138:36] necessarily be like
[138:38] >> why did you do that that's you did that
[138:39] incorrectly you know whatever but um
[138:42] >> well especially in those you write a lot
[138:43] of your own material now for the channel
[138:45] >> but in those days I was writing a lot of
[138:47] it so uh you know I was like no no no
[138:50] that's not how you deliver that joke the
[138:52] emphasis has to be on this word it's
[138:53] like really important like that's the
[138:55] joke and stuff and that I mean that's
[138:57] going to drive you crazy if it's not
[138:58] something you're used to. Yeah,
[138:59] absolutely.
[139:00] >> Um,
[139:00] >> but yeah, in short, it's a it's been
[139:03] it's a really fun process. I think the
[139:04] secret ingredient is if you actually
[139:06] like your partner in in life and work,
[139:09] it's a [laughter]
[139:11] it helps.
[139:12] >> Yeah. Yeah. Totally.
[139:14] >> It's a it's a it works.
[139:15] >> Yeah. But but having said that, I if you
[139:18] don't have that that dynamic with your
[139:20] partner, that's not a problem. That's
[139:21] not a fault in your relationship and
[139:23] stuff. It's just like different
[139:24] relationships have different dynamics.
[139:25] >> It's happen to roll this Well, I'm just
[139:27] a 100% wife guy as everyone knows. So,
[139:29] like
[139:30] >> I'm always just going to be happy to be
[139:31] allowed in the same room as Everel.
[139:33] >> Yeah.
[139:34] >> Under any circumstances basically. I'm
[139:36] always just going to be like [laughter]
[139:38] >> she's letting me near her. This is
[139:40] amazing.
[139:43] >> Ah, we've got two more left. This has
[139:45] been a long podcast. Um, Melithian,
[139:47] thank you so much for the super chat.
[139:48] Can't recommend Plscape enough. Played
[139:52] for the first time last October. You'll
[139:54] easily clock out where Disco Lizium took
[139:56] heavy inspiration from, but al also the
[139:58] connections to the D&D universe. This is
[140:00] like this. Yeah, it sounds perfect. Me
[140:02] very emotional and powerful game. Thank
[140:03] you, Melith. I like cannot wait to get
[140:06] into it.
[140:07] >> Sounds great. I want to give it a go,
[140:08] too.
[140:08] >> Like I I kind of want to put it on the
[140:10] Steam Deck and just like do it in dead,
[140:12] you know, like or you know, you know
[140:14] what I mean? And and just like put my
[140:16] head.
[140:17] >> You really love doing that with
[140:18] Discoysium in the end, did you? That was
[140:19] your plan for that game.
[140:20] >> I wanted a full cinematic experience
[140:22] Discoysium. That was like I had to be
[140:24] like sitting in front of the the screen,
[140:26] you know, on edge. That was brilliant.
[140:27] Um, and then finally,
[140:29] >> the last one, Senior Sonata. Honestly,
[140:32] I'd really like an emote expansion.
[140:34] >> Oh, like an expansion.
[140:37] >> Honestly, me too. And particularly
[140:39] particularly with uh the housing stuff
[140:41] and and what have you now. And like uh
[140:43] you know, you got the lean emote
[140:44] recently, which drives me wild. I love
[140:46] that. All the cool RP stuff in the
[140:48] Arcantina with like things you can pick
[140:50] up and just carry around. And my
[140:51] favorite thing is going to every time I
[140:53] go and see Arcantine now, I come out
[140:55] holding like a very elaborate drink
[140:57] which I'm then like fighting with for a
[140:59] while and it's awesome. It's just great.
[141:00] It's it's just really good.
[141:01] >> Martini, I love that.
[141:02] >> Yeah, I love that stuff.
[141:03] >> Um yeah, uh Fortnite has shown just how
[141:05] out of date the WoW emoting is. Yeah,
[141:07] WoW emoting is is like kind of
[141:09] pleasingly old school sometimes and
[141:11] otherwise just completely janky. So, I
[141:12] agree. Yeah, I love that.
[141:13] >> I agree. Revamp it. The emote expansion
[141:17] is coming.
[141:18] No, genuinely it just seems like a
[141:19] no-brainer. Honestly, at this stage, I
[141:21] agree in the same where WoW is going.
[141:23] >> In the same way that character
[141:24] customization is coming out a few years
[141:25] ago, like revamped be like, "Oh, yeah,
[141:28] people can have dark skin."
[141:30] >> And I was like, "Yeah, it's a
[141:32] no-brainer."
[141:33] >> Well, not all of the internet agrees
[141:35] with you there, Evie.
[141:36] >> Too bad. [laughter]
[141:37] >> I don't agree with her.
[141:38] >> Can we Can we have a um like killing the
[141:41] key to go and care for your child emote?
[141:45] It's just the flaming baby from the
[141:47] [laughter] Sims.
[141:49] It's just the baby on fire while while
[141:51] you're like typing at the PC. That's
[141:53] what that is. That's the
[141:55] >> emote. Yeah. Brilliant. [laughter] Um

[141:58] chats. Thank you to everyone who's

[142:25] someone has to go and help their child
[142:27] and don't report them for child abuse.
[142:31] >> Maybe that bit in particular.
[142:32] >> Um, that's that's a dick move. Don't do
[142:35] it. Enjoy Val.
[142:37] >> Have fun. really until you enjoy that.

[142:58] it's going to be fun. Maybe I'll just
