They got me, friends! I'm a jumble of thoughts and emotions, but mostly relieved. I was miserable for the last year and a half! It'll be nice to do something different!
I'm so glad that we had this individual here get fired, and so many others got fired, that was working on the Halo game at Halo Studios.
I am so happy to see that this grimy piece of shit company will no longer be touching Halo at all. They have been actively disrespecting and shitting on the franchise for over 15 years.
And for those that are saying, but 343 was working, right? Yeah, 343 just got rebranded into Halo Studios, okay? And this entire situation with these group of people have been actively just demolishing and ripping apart the very foundation of what makes Halo, Halo.
They are just everything about the way they just did the systems with the multiplayer, the handling of the campaign and split-screen co-op, to how they released the state of Halo Infinite when it first released years ago.
and that's not even including Halo 5 Guardians, to Halo 4, all these different things they have done over the years. This company, I am so glad to see individuals that have actively been ruining my childhood game franchise
is getting their entire shit wrecked, and they are getting fired, and they are no longer going to be able to work on Halo ever again. And I am just legit, when I see someone like this say,
I was miserable for the last year and a half. If they're talking about, for instance, working on Halo, I am glad that your ass, your miserable ass, got removed from working on Halo. You have not done anything worthwhile
that has benefited the franchise. You have absolutely shoved in your agenda, your politics, and your bullshit into Halo for far too long. I'm glad to see you're gone. And it doesn't just stop here.
There has been, for a very long time, many people are aware of this, But Halo Studio was actively hiring people that hated Halo, and hated guns, and working on guns and stuff within a FPS.
Like, read this, okay? I honestly don't think I could work on a game that glorifies or fantasizes modern guns, COD, Battlefield, Rainbow Six, and I have had moments, I've struggled with Halo.
But the weapons of the world is pretty sci-fi, which creates a large enough separation from reality. We got a skizzro, we got a freaking skizzro, we got a skizzro, he can't separate fiction from reality, like, he's morphing it together, it's so close, even the sci-fi is, you know, it's kind of almost teetering on the edge of being too realistic.
But, um, anyways, this is the creative designer for Halo Studios, the creative designer, that is afraid of freaking guns, that was working on Halo. Like, what do you mean you're hiring parasites like this to actively just, it's not even that they shouldn't be working on Halo, they shouldn't be working on FTF games in general.
Like, this is just insane that this is what this company was infested with for all these years, actively just demolishing what Halo stands for. And to see this company no longer being able to work on Halo again pleases me to my very freaking core This this is honestly this is early freaking Christmas and a birthday gift all in one in the same day
Because I am tired, and I think every Halo fan will agree with me, that is not being disingenuous, will agree we're tired of this game franchise being shat on for over 15 years.
I mean, let's not even talk about the live action and how much disrespect that live action was to the Halo lore and franchise as a whole. It was some of the most disgusting shit I think I've ever watched in a live action adaptation.
But the point here is, back into the game, the reason why this is happening is because of the colossal failure of the Halo Campaign Evolved release. And honestly, as someone that actually has played Campaign Evolved, I see why this game didn't do so well.
First off, it really proved one big detail here. It proved that Halo Studios was incapable of creating something new. They had to rely on nostalgia, fan nostalgia, and the coattails of what once was,
and even then, they butchered it in so many different ways that removed the very established feeling of what Halo should be. For those that don't know what I'm getting at, let me explain a little bit more in depth. Basically, this company has been selling to make a brand new Halo that was successful ever since Halo 4.
They have been doing an ass of a job, Halo 4, Halo 5, Halo Infinite, and then obviously a Halo campaign evolved. And it's just like every single release has been riddled with some form of issue showcasing that this team is just so incompetent,
confidence, have so much caution take, so many people in HR probably put so many barriers and complications to throw into any form of like a barrier to try to make the game better all for monetization reasons or inclusivity like it's
feeling all-inclusive there's just so many things right there's a lot of people that have been documenting and talking about Halo for so many freaking years like what do you mean like you're releasing stuff like Halo Infinite with like not its full features right and this has happened multiple times this
This has happened with, like, for instance, Halo 5, this has happened with Halo Infinite, and it's happened with Halo Camping of All. Like, this company can't get their shit together. They can never release the game as a full package. Like, Halo 5, when it was released, they didn't even have Forge available for a very long time.
It took them forever to be able to pump it out. And, to be fair, Forge was pretty cool when it did initially come out, but the game was already hurt and damaged because of the way they took, how long they took to release Halo 5's Forge.
and that's not including the microtransactions and what they did with Warzone and stuff like that. It was not a good situation. Then you get Halo Infinite. They released Halo Infinite in such a piss-poor sorry state. I remember playing the multiplayer, and I remember really enjoying the multiplayer,
like the free multiplayer that came out for Halo Infinite that, like, early Christmas, and we thought, yeah, this is pretty good. Halo might be returning back to its roots. It could be finally stepping back up onto the horse. But then they decided to go on Christmas holiday and leave the game in a sorry state where you couldn't play Big Team Battle
and there was a bunch of other playlists that you couldn't play. And then they released the campaign to say, oh yeah, you can't play co-op campaign. You can't play split screen campaign. Oh you can redo missions on campaign This was the release the state of release for Halo Infinite It was just what do you mean that you having so much millions upon millions of dollars pumped into your freaking company to make this game and you can even do what Halo 1 2 and
3, Rachel ODS, he did with a box of scraps in a cave. Like, what do you mean you can't even do it right? Like, I want to reiterate something, okay? This is what has really been
boiling inside of me and why I think so many fans had been pissed off for a very long time. Halo 3, when it released, you realize how revolutionary that was? It released with campaign, four-player campaign, co-op campaign, split-screen campaign, theater and campaign, forge mode,
theater and multiplayer matches, a working multiplayer with big team battle, team slayer, Oddball, King of the Hill, all sorts of stuff, and it had basically next to no issues on release, and a full campaign, and it was fantastic.
It was something that everybody rejoiced. There's a reason why to this day, Halo is still talked about, because of the glory days of how insanely impactful the franchise is.
And the fact is, that showcases how much people love it, to even stick through all this bullshit for the last 15 years that we have been dealing with. So, what I'm getting at is, is that this company has been incapable of even releasing a game that was released back in 2004 and 2007,
that had way more features on release than they can do with even more millions upon millions of dollars. what do you mean like it's clear that like everything about the way Halo was handled was so mismanaged people that were working on it did not give a fuck about the game and the
franchise they were there for the paycheck so that gets back into the point of this individual right here I'm so happy to see people like this fired because they were not doing anything for the game people be like oh he should feel bad he lost his job I don't care I don't stop ruining
my favorite shit, you have no business working in the media, you have no, like, in the medium of my favorite entertainment, if you're doing a terrible job, like, for instance, if you, if you're working in a restaurant, okay, and you fuck up a meal, and it burns, and you give it to a customer, and they're
really angry, or you, you have, like, long meat you're giving to a customer, and they could potentially die from, like, undercooked meat, you're gonna get your ass fired, so I don't care, like,
If you're doing a bad job, you're delivering me a shit mill on a plate, you deserve to be fired. You don't deserve to be working in this type of industry anymore. That's my hot take. You can be upset with me for that, feel free.
That's fine. Leave your thoughts in the comments below. But I am so happy to see this crusty-ass piece-of-shit studio no longer working on Halo.
However, we do need to address the elephant in the room, and that is Activision. Oh, boy.
Okay, so, Activision. I am also still very worried about Activision working on Halo I mean this is the same company that is working on Call of Duty Now I not shitting on Call of Duty Well I however am saying this because Call of Duty has lost its identity
It has. They're constantly throwing in collabs and these weird skins and their guns and stuff and all that. It is trying too much to be like Fortnite. Call of Duty has lost that modern aesthetic feeling that many people have.
They just have way too many collabs and these funky weird things that really just don't feel like Call of Duty anymore. It doesn't feel like what it used to be. And like I said, it tries too hard to be like Fortnite. And I'm concerned that the group, the company, Activision, that is actively doing stuff like that to Call of Duty, will do something like this to Halo.
And to be fair, Halo's already been damaged with all these weird skins and different things they've been trying to push with the different armor varieties and specials for different holidays. so I mean to be fair it wouldn't really be anything new but I still am concerned there is
elephant in the room that still needs to be addressed I don't think Activision is you know that there's I don't think it could get any worse than what Halo Studios has been doing I just I
hope we haven't traded you know one enemy for another you know I just um I hope that's not what's exactly going on in this case, but, uh, with that being said, though, I do hope that what this
entire situation sets up is that this is a true resetting of Halo and trying to actually make Halo good again, actually bring it back to why people loved it. You know, I want to just spitball
something out there that is just, it's so insane to me that hasn't been made to this very day. you don't always need to follow Master Chief okay you don't have to don't get me wrong I love Master Chief man he's a great
character okay I love his story but there is a lot of different lore and stuff that you can follow within the Halo universe hell you can literally make theoretically you can make up your own bullshit lore with it
you can make a literal game on High Charity Halo 2 High Charity where you're a Marine or an ODST that's in High Charity as the Prophet of Truth leaves and the lights go out, and the flood's invading High Charity, you can make an entire horror game,
pretty much like that, make a, like a, like a ODST style game, make it a little bit more modern, honestly, if you want to make it a little bit more serious, maybe add some really spooky shit into it, and make it a full-blown, like, flood horror game, like, there is a lot of potential that Halo could
do that doesn't necessarily need to be, like, oh, we're going to remake Halo 1, we're going to remake Halo 2, we're going to remake Halo 3, we're going to, um, basically make something that is just outright not what people are asking for, there's many ways and avenues they can do that doesn't
actively shit on the franchise, and also be experimental as well, and I just, I don't know, man, like, I really hope that this is a, a start of a good future for Halo, I really hope it is,
but we will have to see, I, I'll leave it at that, I want to talk about this, because I saw this news, and I'm a big Halo fan, honestly, I, I love Halo a lot, and I grew up with it, it's one of my first
FPSs I ever played, like that and Doom, the original, OG Doom, okay? And so, I'm, I hope that this is a start of a good future for the franchise. I will leave it at that, though. If you enjoy my content,
please subscribe, this helps me out a lot, but, uh, be safe, stay healthy, G out.
