# Cryptocurrency Analysis: Market Crash or New Rise? Bitcoin and Altcoins

> Source: [Cryptocurrency Analysis: Market Crash or New Rise? Bitcoin and Altcoins](https://youtube.com/watch?v=DZ24JRjT27M)

## Summary

The video analyzes the current state of the cryptocurrency market, addressing whether it is collapsing or beginning a new upward trend. It presents three possible scenarios: a repeat of previous cycles, a total collapse, or a new era. The speaker uses market data and institutional adoption to argue that while the market will not die, the traditional cycle pattern may not repeat exactly, with Bitcoin potentially leading a sustained rise while many altcoins fail.

### Key Points

- **Market Questions** [00:02] — The video opens by addressing common questions about whether the crypto market is ending, repeating past cycles, or entering a new era.
- **Three Scenarios** [00:29] — The speaker outlines three scenarios: repeating previous cycles, collapsing and dying, or something completely different happening.
- **Historical Crashes** [00:42] — In 2022, the crypto market lost over $2 trillion, with FTX and Luna collapsing, and Bitcoin dropping to $16,000. In 2018, the market fell over 80% from its peak, yet it rebounded to new highs within two to three years.
- **Collapse Unlikely** [01:14] — The speaker concludes that the scenario of the market collapsing or dying is highly unlikely based on historical resilience.
- **Previous Cycle Pattern** [01:29] — In previous cycles, Bitcoin would rise significantly, then altcoins would explode, followed by a sharp drop (peak phase), and then a consolidation. The pattern was to sell at the peak and buy after the drop.
- **Real Figures Move the Market** [02:11] — The speaker emphasizes that real numbers drive the market, citing over 860 million crypto users worldwide (about 10% of the population), doubling every two years.
- **Transaction Volumes** [02:27] — Ethereum processes $6.5 billion in daily transactions even on bad days, and Binance's daily trading volume ranges from $100 to $120 billion.
- **Institutional Adoption** [02:56] — Banks and institutions that once fought crypto are now entering: JPMorgan is experimenting with blockchain transfers, BlackRock invested over $10 billion in Bitcoin in a year, and PayPal integrates crypto payments.
- **Regulatory Developments** [03:36] — Governments are creating regulations like the EU's MECA and the US's GNIAS Act to govern stablecoins, showing acceptance.
- **Blockchain Technology** [04:02] — Blockchain solves problems of transparency, security, data forgery, and speed, prompting governments to explore it. The IMF announced over 130 countries are studying CBDCs.
- **Challenges Remain** [04:46] — Despite positive figures, there are problems: failed projects, worthless coins, and scams like Rackpools that damage confidence. This is normal for a developing market, similar to the dot-com era.
- **Cycle Pattern May Not Repeat** [05:26] — The speaker believes the exact cycle pattern won't repeat. Instead, Bitcoin may experience a sustained rise with minor corrections, akin to a 'Bitcoin rush' similar to the Gold Rush.
- **Altcoins Will Diverge** [06:08] — Not all altcoins will explode; some sectors will rise, others will decline, and some will collapse completely. Investors should focus on sectors with strong momentum and invest in the strongest projects.

### Conclusion

The speaker concludes that the cryptocurrency market will not end, but it will evolve. Bitcoin may lead a sustained rise, while many altcoins will fail. Investors should focus on sectors with real value and momentum.

very strange, and the questions in your mind are the same questions the whole world is asking: Is the cryptocurrency market really coming to an end and will never go back to how it was before? Or will the market repeat the same scenario that happens in every cycle? Or are we standing at the beginning of a new era that could change
everything, and is it possible that something completely different will happen? Look, what I'm going to tell you in this video isn't just predictions; I'm going to tell you numbers and facts that will answer all the questions that come to your mind. So focus with me until the end of the video because what's coming is very important, and I'll tell you exactly what's happening in the market.
To be perfectly clear, let's say we're currently facing three scenarios: either the cryptocurrency market repeats what happened in previous cycles, or it collapses and dies, or something
completely different happens. Look, my friend, in 2022 the cryptocurrency market lost more than $2 trillion in market value—yes, you heard right, a trillion dollars, not a billion. Huge projects and platforms collapsed, like FTX and Luna. Even Bitcoin itself plummeted to
$16,000, leading people to declare the cryptocurrency market dead. In 2018, the cryptocurrency market also fell by more than 80% from its peak value, and again, people said it was dead. Yet, it rebounded and achieved new record highs
just two or three years later. So, we can say that the scenario of the market collapsing or dying is highly unlikely. Now, we're faced with a different scenario. On Monday, either the cryptocurrency market will repeat exactly what happened in previous cycles, or something different will occur.
If you're unfamiliar with the market, what happened in previous cycles was that the cryptocurrency market went through cycles with a significant price drop, a consolidation phase, and then a significant rise. The cycle would continue. Those experienced in the market would tell you, in simple terms,
that the market would see a very large rise in the price of Bitcoin, followed immediately by an explosion in the prices of all alternative cryptocurrencies. After that, you would sell and exit the market because we would enter a peak phase, which is a very sharp drop in prices, like what happened in
2018 and 2022. Then you would enter the market and buy. Yes, that was the market pattern in the past. But will that be the market pattern in this cycle, or will the situation be different? In order to predict exactly what will happen in the market, we must know one very important thing: the
real figures are what move the market. Now, let's look at some numbers. Currently, the number of users of cryptocurrencies worldwide has exceeded 860 million. Imagine that! That's roughly 10% of the world's population investing in cryptocurrencies.
And keep in mind, this number doubles every two years, maybe even less. This is in addition to the daily transaction volume on a large network like Ethereum, which reaches $6.5 billion per day, even on the worst market days. Or consider the daily trading volume on a major platform like
Binance, which ranges from $100 to $120 billion. Can you imagine what that means? In short, we're talking about billions moving every day. It's not a game or a bubble, as many people think. Furthermore, banks and giant institutions that were fighting
cryptocurrencies five years ago are now entering the market themselves. For example, JPMorgan Chase, the world's largest investment bank, is experimenting with conducting its international transfers on the blockchain network. And you have... For example, BlackRock, the world's largest investment company,
invested over $10 billion in Bitcoin in a single year, and that figure is likely much higher now. PayPal, the
its payments. Insurance companies and central banks are also exploring integrating cryptocurrencies into their systems. And then there are the government regulations and laws that have emerged to govern stablecoins, such as the European Union's MECA
or the US government's GNIAS Act. So, institutions, countries, and organizations that were fighting cryptocurrencies a few years ago are now trying to jump on the bandwagon. The reason is simple: the technology behind cryptocurrencies
has proven so robust that there's no going back. This brings us to the point that cryptocurrencies aren't just for investment, trading, speculation, or simply numbers on a screen. There's more to them than that. There's a powerful technology called blockchain, and I could make a
whole video about it explaining what blockchain is and how it works. So make sure you subscribe also to watch previous videos. The important thing is that blockchain technology has solved huge problems people face, such as transparency, security, data forgery, and speed. This is even
what has prompted governments themselves to move towards it. The International Monetary Fund has also announced that more than 130 countries around the world are studying the possibility of launching their own central bank digital currencies ( CBDCs). So, if governments and countries themselves are considering using the same idea, it's
impossible to say that digital currencies will end. They will evolve, and their forms may change, but they will never disappear. In short, digital currencies and blockchain have become a reality, whether we like it or not. The idea that the market will repeat the same scenario as in previous cycles depends on the
real challenges facing the digital currency market now. And in fact, after the figures you've heard and seen with me... Now, I want to tell you that things aren't 100% rosy. There are many problems preventing the scenario that occurred in
previous cycles from happening again, such as the failed projects that appear every day, the worthless cryptocurrencies, and the dozens of scam coins like Rackpools that damage investor confidence in the market itself. Yes, this is normal in a new market that is still developing, like the
internet in the early 2000s. In the dot-com era, hundreds of companies were failing, and only a very few survived. Of course, these were the companies that provided real value to people. The same story will happen here. Projects that don't have real value will end, and those that
actually add real value to people will continue. In my opinion, this is the most important stage because the idea behind the scenario that occurred in each cycle was that after a significant rise in the price of Bitcoin, there would be an explosion in the prices of all alternative currencies, and then you would sell and exit the market,
waiting for the peak to come in and buy again. So, frankly, I don't think that scenario will happen. This pattern will repeat itself exactly. On the contrary, we might now be in a period where Bitcoin, the currency leading the entire market, will experience increased demand. This could cause its price to rise continuously,
with minor corrections along the way, which we might call a Bitcoin rush. This refers to a surge in people's use of Bitcoin, or a mass craze for it. This happened almost exactly with gold in the last century, also called the Gold Rush. Conversely, not all
altcoins will experience price explosions with the market cycle. On the contrary, while the overall market is rising, and Bitcoin is leading the way,
collapse completely. From my analysis, most of the price explosions that will occur in altcoin markets will be concentrated in certain sectors, while others will not. For sectors, while others will not. For
and of course, not all of them will experience a frenzied rise. The alternative digital sector will find that it is declining, and this is of course in addition to the currencies that may be in the two sectors that disappear and collapse completely. Here, of course, you must always focus on the general momentum in the whole world heading towards which
sector of projects, and then you search within that sector and see what are the best and strongest digital currency projects that exist in it and invest in them. I am not here to tell you which digital currencies you should invest in. I am here to tell you and explain to you with
numbers and facts where the digital currency market is heading. Will it end or not? I expect heading. Will it end or not? I expect you know the answer if you've gotten this far, and that's all.
