[00:15] of Hrithik Roshan comes up from somewhere or the other. CJP spokesperson Saurav Das was asked why Kangana is repeatedly attacking him ?  So he said that one of my friends says that maybe it is because
[00:31] I look a little like young Hrithik Roshan. Now I have many problems here but one of them is that I agree that Kangana is problematic but bringing back her ex-boyfriend or any old relationship she had in this manner
[00:45] and taunting her about it is also not right and I feel that whenever women are targeted, it is seen that generally their old relationships are brought up and the character of women
[00:59] is discussed in various ways and the point which is the main issue gets left behind somewhere and this is not just about Kangana. Whenever there is talk about any woman, and you know Swarana too, nowadays many such reels are coming in which
[01:12] it is being said that this is why Hrithik Roshan left her, that is why she is like this, I feel that whenever I agree that it is wrong but bringing up her past relationships and saying that this is why her husband left her or this is why her boyfriend left her
[01:26] or it would be like this, that situation was different, this situation is different, so to judge any woman, this situation is different, so to judge any woman, I don't understand this. Exactly because Kangana herself
[01:39] which you can question and on which you can criticize her. So I think there is no point in bringing up his old issues, his old relationships or his personal matters.  The internet needs a meme,
[01:52] and it got one.  The line about young Hrithik started going viral and everyone immediately viral and everyone immediately given so many statements on which there can be no disrespect.  So, there was a

[02:19] this same logic applies to Kangana as well that she should also put forward her point.   Do not make personal attacks.  The way he has made personal attacks on Sourav. But the question now is how did all this start ?  So Kangana
[02:32] shared some J protest videos in Instagram story and she called J Generation Gutter or Gutter Chhaap Generation.  He said that the kind of language and gestures being used in some protest videos should
[02:48] friends of the media. Because I have refused to normalize some protesters who were Because I have refused to normalize some protesters who were Later Kangana also gave clarification.
[03:04] She said that she was not targeting the entire generation but was only criticizing those who, according to her, were can criticize anyone's words.  But now to criticize because I also

[03:34] words to criticize others.  You yourself are teaching the knowledge of moral policing to others. But then you yourself are using such words which is not right.  Which should not be used.  Then what you say does not
[03:47] take you seriously? Feminists, you can call them anchors or the entire group, are doing a bulletin and teaching me why Kangana should these teaching me why Kangana should these women have the burden of dignity and
[04:02] discipline.  There was so much pressure on us millennial women to be dignified and to be to be dignified and to be disciplined.  Why do we have to give that Clarification has its place here but the original statement also has an impact.
[04:17] When you are a Member of Parliament and use a label like Generation Gutter, then naturally many people start considering it as an attack on the entire generation and many of them are the people who have elected you and brought you to the Parliament, so somewhere
[04:33] they also get disrespected and those are the voters who brought you there, so they start getting disrespected and honestly, neither every generation and honestly, neither every generation nor the previous generation has been considered bad, people of the
[04:45] 90s say that nowadays the children of yesterday have gone bad.  Their parents might have said that the children of your time were spoiled and their grandparents might have said that the children who listened to the radio were ruined.  So I feel
[04:57] that the favourite hobby of history is to lecture the next generation and tell them that your generation is doomed. This controversy escalated further when Kangana commented on some women protesters. In his statement he has
[05:11] said that some girls are ugly and corrupt and he used this type of language. Now the thing to understand here is that Kangana who is talking against the language , is herself using such dirty language.  She is
[05:29] Like, if on one hand you talk about women's rights or you talk about women's rights and on the other hand you are calling the women protesters bad and corrupt. And here, because of this, this debate becomes even more interesting.
[05:42] Because Kangana herself has been fighting against nepotism in Bollywood and has been continuously raising her voice. She has been continuously talking about women being independent. So when the same Kangana
[05:58] discusses this appearance or home making in this manner and uses these words in a wrong way, then people ask how did this shift happen?  And this shift, is it the same Kangana?  And you know after that Kangana uploaded another reel.  In it
[06:11] he has asked women to stay away from feminism.   Don't be Only you can display this vulgarity in your room.
[06:24] You will have to maintain your limits when you go out. Freedom does not mean hurting the dignity of others.  And sexual abuse or explicit slogans should not be acceptable for any public figure.  Here
[06:36] he probably used the word 'feminazis' for those who were in the protest or Look, whatever we are legitimate.  This should be discussed.   There should be a debate on this.  But the word
[06:51] used here to talk about feminazi has its own political and cultural baggage.  This term was popularized by American radio hosts in the 1990s. Later, it became frequently used in internet culture to
[07:05] radicalize feminists and dismiss their views. dismiss their views. And tell me, in the 1990s, this word was used in America to
[07:18] target some women associated with abortion rights and feminist movement. demean, redact, and dismiss feminist voices rather than to
[07:31] engage with their arguments.  That is why the criticism has been that if you are talking about respectful dialogue then why are you using a label which itself is considered very polarizing.
[07:47] what did Garima find?  That is, Kangana has an old coat.  In a 2000 interview, she said, "We need to encourage our women for being who they are as opposed to trying to box them."  This means that women should be
[08:02] accepted with their individuality. They should not be put into any predefined box.  And that is why today people are comparing whether Kangana of 2016 and Kangana of 2026 are giving the same message or has the public messaging
[08:18] changed?  People are asking this question and honestly, it is a fair question because the and honestly, it is a fair question because the And it keeps resurfacing again and again when such controversies come to light.
[08:32] statement.  So first Kangana had posted her Instagram story in which she had told Sourav Das that he is unemployed and useless and she had talked about her National Award and such things which she had said in her entire Instagram
[08:46] story that the present generation is not understanding and Sourav Das should learn some skills and this is what I feel that both the sides have missed a bit.  On one hand, the personal joke about Hrithik, on the other hand, the useless, unemployed
[09:01] personal joke about Hrithik, on the other hand, the useless, unemployed and comparing achievements, result issues have been left behind and a different controversy has now started.  Absolutely, and and have forgotten why all this discussion started.  So
[09:14] the purpose of politics should be to answer the argument and its limits should be maintained and no one should cross these limits. Such personal attacks should such personal attacks happen, the conversation gets sluggish and gets left behind
[09:28] somewhere and the algorithm of social media also rewards this thing. A Thoughtful Argument 20,000 views A Sarcastic Personal Remark 20 million views.  That's probably why we discuss screenshots more than the substance.
[09:44] Generation Gutter, Young Hrithik, Feminaz this herd line is trending right now. But the real question remains somewhere in the middle: how do we do Disarray and to what extent can we take the language of public conversation?  So tell us
