[00:02] different spirit, not a lesser version, not some Holy Spirit light. He is the one and only, the very same spirit who walked with disciples and empowered them to carry the gospel to the ends of the earth. And that same Holy Spirit lives
[00:15] >> He can be known as a friend. He is personal. Now, when I say the Holy Spirit is a person, some people get confused and think I mean he's a human being. That's not what I'm saying. The Holy Spirit is not human, but he is
[00:29] person He thinks, he leads, [music] he speaks, he relates. And scripture reveals exactly what that means. Many people imagine the Holy Spirit as just a feeling during worship or like a
[00:41] mist floating in the atmosphere when God is moving. But the Holy Spirit is not an emotion or an atmosphere. He is the living presence of God dwelling within He is the seal of your salvation. He teaches you the word as you read He
[00:55] helps you pray even when you don't have the words, just as we see in Epistle to the Romans 8:26. He gives you boldness to share the gospel. Just look at Peter, once afraid, even denying Jesus.
[01:08] But after the Holy Spirit came upon him, he preached with power and thousands >> The Holy Spirit walks with you daily, moment by moment. He doesn't leave when you fail. He's not impatient with you. He faithfully remains, drawing you
[01:23] closer to Jesus. Because that's what he does. He points >> [music] >> glorifies Jesus, magnifies Jesus, and reveals Jesus. Anything truly led by the Spirit will always be centered on Jesus.
[01:38] does, but let's settle this truth deep in your heart. The Holy Spirit is a person. Because if you think he's just a thing, you'll try to use him. But when you realize he's a person, your
