## Summary

In this video, the creator covers the latest patch changes for preservation evoker in World of Warcraft, highlighting new talents and adjustments that significantly impact gameplay. Key updates include the introduction of Temporal Barrier as a replacement for Resonating Sphere, making Nozdormu's Teachings more viable, and buffs to Living Flame through Chronal Dynamo.

### Key Points

- **Introduction to Patch Changes** [00:03] — The video begins with an overview of the patch updates for preservation evoker, promising to cover all findings.
- **Unraveled Damage Increase** [00:32] — Unraveled damage is increased by 300%, making it more impactful when combined with Fire Breath and shield mechanics.
- **Blessing of Bronze Change** [01:40] — Blessing of Bronze is now castable on friendly players not in the party, increasing flexibility in group content.
- **Emerald Blossom Seedlings** [02:07] — Emerald Blossom now sends out one or two flying seedlings that heal allies up to 40 yards away, improving raid healing but requiring positioning.
- **Life Giver's Flame with Deep Breath** [03:18] — Life Giver's Flame now works with Deep Breath, healing first five targets hit and transferring to allies, significantly boosting healing output.
- **Living Flame Cast Time Reduction** [04:10] — Living Flame's cast time is reduced by 0.2 seconds, and it deals 50% increased damage or healing when non-instant cast, improving its efficiency.
- **New Talent: Temporal Barrier** [04:50] — Temporal Barrier replaces Resonating Sphere, providing a stronger shield and applying Echo at 30% effectiveness, but with a 30-yard range, encouraging positioning.
- **Temporal Barrier Details** [05:42] — The shield is stronger than Temporal Anomaly but has shorter range; it is not recommended over Nozdormu's Teachings for experienced players but is beginner-friendly.
- **Nozdormu's Teachings Now Viable** [07:28] — Due to Resonating Sphere being made baseline, Nozdormu's Teachings can now be taken freely. It reduces the cooldown of empowered spells by 5 seconds per Temporal Anomaly cast, significantly increasing healing output.
- **Nozdormu's Teachings Benefit** [09:39] — Temporal Anomaly reduces cooldown of Dream Breath and Fire Breath by 5 seconds, stacking with other cooldown reductions for frequent use.
- **Chronal Dynamo Talent** [12:18] — Chronal Dynamo always reduces Living Flame cast time by 0.2s and increases non-instant damage/healing by 50%, making it a strong alternative to Life Spark.
- **Build Recommendations** [14:21] — The creator suggests builds using Nozdormu's Teachings and Chronal Dynamo, with options for Time of Need and other pug-friendly talents.

### Conclusion

The patch changes make Nozdormu's Teachings a viable and powerful talent for preservation evokers, enhancing cooldown management and overall healing. The new Chronal Dynamo talent further strengthens Living Flame, providing more flexibility in builds.

update on all the cool things that came in this patch for us. There's a lot going on, and I want to share all of my findings with you. That being said, the more laid-back kind of kick back and relax videos. So, hey, my name is Bowser
this kind of content. I'm going to read the patch notes, show you visually a through some of the theory crafting and feels so good. Might be my favorite version of preservation. It's too early
to tell, but um damn, I'm really really enjoying myself. >> Um so, let's dive right into it. Also, as a quick aside, some of you know, I've been trying to hit Twitch partner for some time now, 9 years
the journey as we've been pushing these past 2 months to achieve this brutally hard path to partner achievement so that I can submit what is hopefully my final all so much for the support. It really does mean the world to me. And if you
want to be here for hopefully the end of this journey, uh feel free to stop by There should be a link down in the YouTube description as well. And um if I sound a little like more raspy or growly today or like lower, I don't know what's
going on. Fam, I'm going to be real with you. I'm only 33 years old, but I think I've achieved unk status. I think I'm just like I can't pitch my voice as high couldn't pitch it as high as week before that. I think I I fear I might actually
first, a couple of nice evoker things. Unraveled damage is increased by 300%. Uh that's great news. You fire breath of shield, you blow it up. Fantastic. Blessing of bronze is now castable on friendly players not in the party. So,
and you and you wave back at them and you want to give them a buff, congratulations, you can finally cast blessing of bronze on them. You weren't >> There was also an issue between guardians. That's been fixed as well.
which are exciting, but the chronal warden change to Augmentation is the exact same to Preservation. So, we'll go over that in just a minute. Now, there Temporal Barrier, but I don't want you to get too confused. I had a lot of
So, I'm going to go through that visually in just a moment. Fluttering Depending on talent points, Emerald Blossom now sends out one and then two flying seedlings when it bursts, plus an additional two to four seedlings if
Emerald Blossom heals fewer than five allies. Each seedling heals an ally up to 40 yd away. I don't know if that 40 yd is calculated from where the blossom blew up or not, but from what it sounds like, this means that people who are
going to be losing a ton of their heals because somebody's out of range from the exciting and I think this is a good change for raid. On the dungeon side of but you'll hear me echo this again later. There doesn't seem to be a better
time than right now to try a dungeon build that plays with seedlings and Emerald Blossoms. So, you know what, theorycrafters? Go to town and please biggest blossom enjoyer, but I love hearing what you all come up with. Also,
increased by 67%, which means um they do more healing, but more importantly, the kids have won. 67 has with myself. I'm happy for them. The kids have won. The kids won. Fluttering
Seedlings is now considered a green spell and its healing is increased by way, and that's kind of where I'm getting the Ooh, there's more dungeon synergy. Maybe that's going to be good. Life Giver's Flame also now functions
with Deep Breath. So, just like how Fire Breath heals the first five targets it hits, um and transfers to allies, now Deep Breath does it, too. We're going to get a lot of healing. When I show you all these changes, it's a lot of
healing. So, all our healing was reduced by 5% and that makes sense. We're about to do some unholy healing uh in raid and whatnot, and I think that that 5% nerf is very justified. Averted Embrace mana cost was reduced by 27% which is
little too much. Happy to see that. The talk about why that's so exciting in a moment because it doesn't sound exciting if you know what Resonating Sphere is and Chronowarden got a new talent.
Living Flames cast time is reduced by 0.2 seconds and it deals 50% increased damage or healing when it is non-instant cast. This is so that you don't get 100% stronger Chrono Flames when you have Life Spark which if you imagine in PvP
someone was at 10% and you crit and healed them to 90% that might be a little ridiculous. So I understand why that is on non-instant cast. Energy you had Tipped the Scales every I think it was 6 seconds you got an Essence
Burst. While that is like a rough loss for some people, honestly with how much amount of Essence Burst you already get, I think this is something that you'll be able to move past pretty easily. So let me go through all of these changes in
game and we'll talk about this new talent and what's going on. Let's start with the most exciting part and it's the new side of the Temporal Anomaly tree. So Resonating Spheres used to be here. It was this talent node and Nozdormu's
Teachings was here. Resonating Sphere was what allowed Temporal Anomaly to deliver echoes. While they were weaker than standard echoes, this is what makes you do so much healing when throwing Temporal Anomaly. Now Temporal Anomaly
still exists. It still shields. By baseline now it applies Echo at 30% it passes through. This is the exact same as Resonating Sphere which means in choice node didn't exist, congratulations. You have some talents
to play with up here. There's a weird world where you run something that allows you to pick up all the stuff for a Blossom build. Now I'm not recommending that off rip but I just want you to know that's a really really
good and positive change for preservation. However, it really is these nodes that we need to talk about. The new move is called temporal barrier. You send out a ripple of temporal energy absorbing more than temporal anomaly and
applying echo at 30% effectiveness on your target and up to four allies within 30 yards. Little bit of a typo here. The patch note and this node say 40 yards. However, the 30 yard in the tool tip is actually correct above the cool down. I
screen here. Dream breath goes 40 yards. You can see I can hit the target I can't cast temporal barrier. I can't cast on a target that's even closer. I can cast it on myself and absolutely nobody else but me gets echoes. So, probably
disappointing for some of you, but hold on. I need to be a little mean here. >> I love you all but I have to give you the hard truth even if you don't like it. You still need to position on preservation Evoker. That's the main
draw to the class's power. You're strong. You have every tool in the game, but you must position correctly. However, this is great for beginners. lining up the ball and finding weird positions and instead you can sit
yourself in a good spot to heal people. It removes one off the mental stack for those of you who play fighting games. Fighting games are all about overloading yourself with the amount of options a player has. Ultimately, too much of a
you might miss something. Well, [music] in terms of World of Warcraft, removing something off the mental stack makes it easier and preservation has a lot on the mental stack. So, being able to reduce it by one with temporal barrier is a
cool way for new players to get involved or players that want to apply more with the shield. The shield is stronger. It's not that much stronger and I honestly wish it was another maybe 20% stronger than it is right now, 15% stronger than
it is right now because even with tempo charge, which I just I'm going to be honest with you. It wasn't doing a whole lot of healing for me. I'm not recommending it over Nozdormu's teachings and I'll explain
why in just a moment, but if you're new, or if you want to use the shields more why that's important in a second, you can. But, yeah, you hit temporal barrier, and boom, you cast, the shields go out, and it's verdant embrace,
verdant embrace. It's echoes, and you can use something like verdant embrace to heal all of those targets. It's very strong, it's very cool. Um, love [music] it. But, it really is like only so much better than normal temporal
anomaly. And remember, normal temporal anomaly goes really far. If you've never seen this, I need to showcase this. Okay, so, so dream breath goes this far, right? I'm going to line it up. Perfect. So, like, my dream breath goes to about
there. Temporal anomaly goes really, really far. Like, maybe 80 yd? I think it's more like 70 something yd. That's crazy. So, a lot of your range issues on preservation are solved with
temporal anomaly. And remember, echo has a 30 yd range. So, I think the whole reason temporal barrier is supposed to be 30 yd, and this tool tip is just has a spelling error, rather incorrect number was written,
>> is because, yeah, if this was 40 yd, it'd be trivializing the whole point of having the massive range on temporal anomaly. It's not a bad thing. It's not a bad thing at all that temporal barrier exists. And the discipline priest side
of this. So, for those of you who don't play disc, having a shield is nice, health, but you had a shield for 1% of your health, you live, [music] right? strong. And well, discipline got gutted for
discipline got gutted. I think it was raid. I think the raid sends hurt the dungeon side of it. And oh, oh lord, that's a Maybe that's a video topic for a shield, even if I think it needs to be stronger, is still doing a lot of work
for you. You can play around this talent if you wanted to to sort of deal with incoming damage by starting with a temporal barrier, and just reducing the amount that your team had to take. That's not a bad idea at all. But, I
don't think it's more effective than well, those Nozdormu's teachings. Temporal Anomaly reduces the cooldown of your empowered spells by 5 seconds. You heard that right. Both of your empowered spells are reduced by 5
your dream breath, if they're both on cooldown, you throw a Temporal Anomaly, lose 5 seconds off of them. And remember, Chronowarden enjoyers, you have Instability Matrix. So, you might get genuinely a 10 or 9-second cooldown
dream breath, which is crazy to think about. There were times, especially in Windrunner Spire today. I don't know what I did. I don't know what I did to Windrunner Spire before sometimes the heal checks would be a little tight, or
like I was running out of tools on preservation. But not anymore. I actually felt like I had a surplus to deal with my problems. And in Nozdormu's that way. But this isn't just good news for Chronowarden enjoyers. While this is
a big W Chronowarden patch, remember, Flameshaper players, you don't have any fire breath 5 seconds, right? Or something along those lines? You have to deal with two charges, but no way to get them back faster other than maybe like
flow state. Well, now you can get them back faster. Remember the whole reason that Chronowarden out-heals Flameshaper in terms of like raw amount of dream considering it as a burst heal. The reason Chronowarden technically does
better is that well, you got more casts out over the course of a fight. If Flameshaper can get more casts out over the course of a fight, too, that's a given that again, they're not really cooldown focused like the way
cooldown focused like the way Chronowarden is. So, this is super duper exciting information. So, Flameshaper players, go to town with it. I hope you enjoy it. For Chronowarden players, they have a whole 'nother talent to talk
seedling players. I've tried using fluttering seedlings. I tried using think you're eating in the raid department. I don't know if you're eating in dungeons yet. Again, this is the time to really try it out. The extra
be procked manually by not running bountiful bloom, so you always get that effect of them launching out further. That might have some real benefits in the dungeon environment, but maybe the consume flame makes it work. Maybe it's
Maybe like spamming blossoms is enough healing with a dream breath down on everyone, but in its current state it just doesn't feel like it's providing supplementary to other heals you were
I'm going to let the theorycrafters at love blossom cook with that and I would love to hear what you come up with as it's always exciting and it's always fun to give it a shot myself. Um but, in the theorycrafting department, I think the
most exciting thing for Chronowarden enjoyers is Chronal Dynamo. So, Living Flame's cast time is always reduced by 0.2 seconds and it deals 50% increased damage or healing when it is non-instant cast. This provides us a lot. First of
all, 0.2 seconds makes it feel a little more like heal back when holy priest had heal. So, it doesn't feel too bad to use now. It feels just a little bit snappier even on low haste values. This does stack with ancient flames, so a 40%
faster cast time and 0.2 off the top is still a very effective amount of time off of your cast time. So, this is a great change. But, Life Spark, while it is a talent that I love and I take very often, you're kind of relying on your G.
You're hoping that your reversion grants you a instant cast Living Flame that you can use and then you yourself have to use it in the correct spot. While it's run it on Chronowarden, I won't blame you. You can run without it now. There's
one key benefit to this and it's that your Chrono Flames, your Leaping Flames, your Afterimages are all going to hit harder, at least theoretically. And I've felt that for the most part. It feels really good to heal with Chronoflame
resources, and it has for a while now, but now it feels like really, really good to use. And there's a bit of a tempo problem. Let's say you had a Life Spark proc and somebody's dying. You instant cast Living Flame them. Now your
GCD is front-loaded, so you have to wait out the rest of the GCD, then the cast time of the next Living Flame, then the travel time of the Living Flame, and you see what I mean? There's a much larger gap there than cast time heal cast time
in that instance because of the instant cast, but if the damage incoming was too high, that wasn't enough single-target healing. But to not take Life Spark was to lose a massive resource in your flexibility. So some people weren't even
running it, and yeah, I can see why. Benefiting from other talents might make high key. But now that we have Chronal Dynamo, you don't have to run this Life Spark. In
fact, I think that the build I'm currently showing you is quite strong because you're getting so much cooldown usage, you're getting so many essence bursts with things like afterimages and your Mirthril's blessings. Titan's gift
then benefits a lot from that. You get a lot of healing from those echoes, and getting twin echoes means that you're set up after using a Verdant Embrace is even faster. It's sort of a best of all worlds scenario, and I was having a ton
>> Now, a lot of you know that I like pugging, and I have thought this one where you kind of go a little bit deeper into your mana pool? Well, you can run something um that involves Time of Need. You can run Three-Minute Rewind, or you
Liberty or Dream Simulacrum. I was running this for a dungeon or two, >> what I liked about it is again, Time of Need's one of the best pugging talents in the game. Having a version of you come out of the wherever, out of time
and space, and start healing the target that got a little too low makes it so that you can focus your time and like efforts elsewhere, or you don't have to immediately, giving you one more way to keep them alive while the going gets
rough. I actually think this felt really, really good. And if you can get you could run this if you need a little more mana efficiency, and there's even a world where maybe this is the best option. Or having both twin echoes full
mana efficiency and the ability to have time of need might produce a better results when people are dying and you need to take care of them. Either way, all of these options are really fun. And a lot of these options, because of
Nozdormu's teachings, ends up working really well on flame shaper as well. I shaper, which is why I keep talking so Chronowarden. But seriously, all this stuff will apply. What I think you should be the most excited about though
is the Nozdormu's teaching side of this. Having your spells up that much more often makes such an impact on your healing. Like, you're really going to feel that stuff. And I've always wanted to use this talent. I know a lot of you
should run this Nozdormu's teachings build." But the hard truth of it was that Resonating Sphere with so much healing and so much flexibility, I could never justify Nozdormu's teachings. You could clear content with it, but it just
wasn't providing what I needed, especially in some of the pug disasters that I tend to find myself in. However, now that you can pick it up so freely and this choice node feeling like such a viable option for those who need it, I'm
had a blast. I can't wait to play even more of it. And I hope a lot of you get of fun. If you have any questions, let me know down below. But I have a lot of video where I go over every single heal on preservation evoker and help you guys
navigate everything I possibly know about this spec in order to help. It might be a more laid-back video as that might be a little too much editing while I'm trying to work on other projects. I have some tanking videos in the mix, and
so much that I'm actually really looking forward to making and editing and getting out to all of you. Thank you all so so much for the support. I appreciate you and I will see you all in the next one. Take care, friends.
beating pull. This is where I expect the tank to get hurt, BY THE WAY. OH, NO.
