Now, starting off with our first brand new bit of content here, we have the Void Incursions and Void pretty much brand new open world events happening in Eversong Woods as well as [02:16] Zul'Aman, and they rotate between each zones every week. So, the idea is that will see a bunch of open world activities going on on the map, almost like Legion Assaults, where you go, you complete some open world scenarios and [02:30] eventually it leads you into a final stage to complete the scenario in that small area. Now, as you complete these smaller assaults, it will start filling up the progress bar to kickstart a bigger zone-wide event later down the [02:46] line with this progress bar. So, the smaller little void strikes are there key shards, and stuff like that, and then it would lead into that bigger sort of peak event later down the line. All of this includes, of course, gold, uh [03:00] some crest, void light, as well as a bunch of field accolades, which is the main currency of this patch, which we can trade for gear as well as cosmetics, which is really nice. Now, overall, I'd say if your character is lacking gear or [03:13] content, this is going to be some of the bigger bit of content you'll be able to dive into that's actually a lot of fun and uh just has you actively out in the open world playing the game, which is great. Just remember, after you finish [03:25] all of this up, it simply just resets and you can do it all over again. So, a nice little farmable gameplay loop here to just chill out and have some fun. the number one piece of content this patch, and it's called the ritual sites. [03:39] Now, ritual sites are basically instance runs that you can do either solo or with about them is they're basically a mixture between delves and horrific visions. The simple idea is you go into a scenario, you clear enemies, complete [03:55] objectives, fight bosses, and finish the run for rewards. There are two different rotate opposite of the void assaults that are actively happening in the game right now. Now, when it comes to difficulty, ritual sites have five [04:09] different tiers. The first couple tiers are pretty dang easy, but once you start getting into tier, you know, three through five, whatever the case may be, up, but of course, that's where things get more challenging and fun. Now, to [04:23] unlock those higher tiers, you'll need to activate what are called challenges, which are basically affixes that you choose yourself. These can make enemies stronger, add extra mechanics, or just make the run more chaotic overall. Think [04:36] make the run more chaotic overall. Think of them like masks in Horrific Visions. The more challenges you enable, the harder the mode gets, but at the same time, of course, your rewards scale up substantially. Now, from these runs, you [04:48] can earn champion gear, hero gear at higher tiers, and a large amount of hero crest, coffer key shards, and most importantly, a new currency, like we said before, called field accolades. These are very important because it lets [05:02] you directly purchase champion and even hero chests from a vendor. Champion gear is, of course, going to be relatively cheap, while hero gear costs a lot more, but it is completely farmable solo if need be, which is pretty cool. There's [05:16] lot of players are going to overlook, and that's how your rewards are actually calculated. Everything is based on a final score at the end of your run, and you increase that final score by killing mobs, rares, looting stuff, uh enabling [05:30] more challenges, and just playing efficiently and completing it quickly. So, the higher your score, the more currency you get, and the faster you the best thing you want to do is push to the highest tier you can with as many of [05:43] these challenges active as you can have at once. If you do this correctly, you Accolades per run, which of course directly translates into faster Hero Gear or even cosmetics, which is cool. So, with these three bits of content, [05:56] the Void Assaults feed you resources and currency, the Void Incursions give you a Ritual Sites is where you turn all that into, you know, actual gear upgrades. And this is going to be your core basic gameplay loop in patch 10.0.5 that [06:10] pray. At the end of the day, Ritual Sites are basically just delves, but I think better and more fun, especially more rewarding nowadays. Uh and if like you're making a little bit of a mistake. Now, an important note is that [06:24] these gear boxes that you go to buy, these will give you the appearances for the brand new tier two recolored HD model sets that are pretty much like all Void-infused and purple. Now, for the gear with actual stats on them, it will [06:37] Something important to note is that there's another vendor in the exact same area that sells the cosmetics at a substan- tially cheaper rate. Now, is really stupid is that we can't just buy the specific sets, whichever we [06:52] want, similar to the Diablo event back in the War Within. It's a specific slot that you buy, and it's random whenever you open it up. I think it's very, very mistake. I don't understand why Blizzard did this. For me, personally, I just [07:05] want to specifically buy the class sets that I want and go about my day. But, this is where we're at, and I guess it is what it is. Additionally, in terms of getting gear and powering up at a massive rate. we need to talk about the [07:18] Void Forge because this is easily one of the biggest systems in this patch, and probably the most important long-term gearing change this season. If you've been keeping up with the weekly questline from Decimus in the Voidstorm, [07:30] then once patch 10.0.5 goes live, you should be able to finish the sixth and final week of progress and fully unlock the system immediately. The Void Forge has two separate layers. The first is a system that uses something called [07:44] nebulous void cores. The easiest way to think about this, ladies and gentlemen, it's basically just a modern version of bonus rolls, except a bit stronger and more targeted. The idea is once you have a void core after you complete a certain [07:57] end game activity like a raid boss, mythic plus, or whatever, you can spend that core to receive an extra piece of loot tied directly to that activity. What makes this system very powerful is that it's not just random nonsense. The [08:12] game actually shows you the loot pool for that activity. And once you receive an item from that said loot pool, that specific item is removed until you've collected everything else. So, it's a nice little specific targeting system [08:25] for, which is cool. What's very interesting here also is that with mythic plus, if you use it as a void core there, the bonus loot you get is based on the great vault item for that key, not the normal end of dungeon [08:40] reward level. So, if you use it on a plus 10, for example, you can actually receive a myth track piece of gear, which is a very, very big deal and gives players a much easier path into extremely high-end loot outside of [08:54] mythic rating and your once of course week mythic vault. It's important to amount of these and you don't want to just throw them at anything you see. If know, weapon, or raid piece you really want, you should be planning on using it [09:08] your character instead of just randomly throwing them out there. Additionally, you also have another layer of the void forge, which is my personal favorite, and it's tied to something called the ascendant void cores. This is another [09:21] late stage power item where once the forge is fully, completely built, you'll start collecting these ascended cores from season one end game content. And they can be used to further empower specific pieces of gear greatly. It's [09:35] important to note that these need to be either fully upgraded hero track or myth either fully upgraded hero track or myth track weapons or trinkets or a max quality weapon or trinket. Once you use an ascended void core on one of those [09:47] items, it will boost the item level on them substantially, shooting it up to 298 item level potentially, which is pretty nuts right now, I would say. So, for you to just take it away as a bite-size segment, the first half of the [10:00] void forge is all about the bonus rolls and you know, targeting loot that you about upgrading your weapons and trinkets to just a Super Saiyan level at that point. So, I'd say the second patch 12.0.5 drops, I would get to the void [10:12] forge, you know, complete it immediately and get your void cores ready to go. Now, on top of all the gearing changes and systems we talked about, 12.0.5 is also giving us a couple more casual activities. And the first one is called [10:24] Day Core Duel, and this is basically World of Warcraft's version of Prop World of Warcraft's version of Prop Hunt. This is a 5v5 style PvP game mode where one team plays as hiders and the other team plays as seekers. So, if [10:36] you're a hider, your goal is to disguise yourself as a random piece of decor somewhere in the map and avoid getting caught. You can swap between different objects, hide in clever spots, and then, you know, place traps or stun players to [10:48] rewards, this mode gives you just a currency called illusory coins, which cosmetics, toys, and even abilities that pretty cool. It's not like a full-blown gearing system, just a fun side [11:02] activity. The other new activity is going to be called Abyssal Anglers, and know, traditional fishing here. It's actually more of a diving mini-game. This takes place off the coast of Zul'Aman, where you dive underwater, and [11:16] your goal is to collect as many fish and treasure as possible before running out of oxygen. Now, while you're down there, you have a few abilities like a dash to move faster, a harpoon to catch fish, and an ability to surface when you're [11:28] done. At the end of your run, your Your score determines how much currency you get, which is called Angler Pearls, and you can then take these pearls and spend diving equipment to stay underwater longer, cosmetic rewards, transmog [11:41] mounts, and even some useful items like fused vitality, which of course is used for your epic profession equipment. Overall, these two systems aren't meant they're just there for simple fun, enjoyment, cosmetics, and stuff like [11:54] quality of life updates that are coming this patch. The first up is the Drac'thyr battle visage form. And this is actually a really nice change because toggle on an option that lets you stay in your humanoid vicious form during [12:09] combat. So, instead of being forced into full dragon form the entire time, you'll still be able to transform briefly when using major draconic abilities like you eternity surge and stuff like that. But outside of that, you'll stay in your [12:23] normal human form and fight most of the fight. This is something players have very, very awesome. It's very fluid, good animations, and stuff like that. playing an Evoker like this, this is probably the right time to pick it up. [12:37] On top of that, there also going to be a ton of class changes coming this patch talking updates to a ton of different specs, talent adjustments, ability tuning, and even some updates for certain play styles. So, now I'm not [12:50] because there's a decent amount to go through. So, if you're logging in after worth taking a look at these class notes to see what maybe has changed for your class or spec. And then lastly, when it comes to transmog, the big update here [13:04] is actually the new weapon sheathing options for transmog in patch 12.0.5. certain weapons are sheathed on your character, meaning a lot of one-handed [13:16] weapons can now be worn either on your back, on your hip, or even you can hide really nice quality of life for transmogging when it comes to your melee or even casters out there. They're also adding a couple new transmog situations, [13:30] one tied to weather and one tied to time of day, which just pretty much gives players more flexibility for auto swapping outfits depending on what's going to do a quick priority checklist on what you should be doing Tuesday to [13:42] save as much time as possible with everything. I would say first and to get your gear and grab your weekly quest in Silvermoon. Then second, grab the ritual sites quest chain in Silvermoon as well. Head on over there [13:55] these challenges and quest to unlock all of the different affixes for it. If cosmetics for all these sets, you can simply just farm these tokens and spend them on the cosmetics if you don't need much gear. Additionally, you also have [14:09] void incursions, so if you're looking to do some laid-back content for some more currency, you can farm these out as well. Before doing some high-end content, don't forget to finish your void forge quest chain, which can be and [14:21] be very careful about which loot you try to target form with your bonus rolls. If can participate in the abyssal anglers event or even the day core duel event brand new to World of Warcraft. I'm not sure exactly when we will be able to get [14:35] our 298 crafted weapons from the void forge, but I will keep you all updated exactly how to do it. But yes, ladies and gentlemen, that is going to wrap up something out of it. Don't forget guys to use my link in the description to [14:49] sign up for Whatnot and get $15 off your first purchase and follow me there to be entered for the $500 giveaway.
