[00:00] You might look at me and think to yourself, wow, he's greasy right now. And you'd be right. But it's not because of sweat or lack of showering. I have, for the last 24 hours, almost nonstop been working on my pinball machine that I've bricked. [00:18] Or potentially bricked. I have been inside the innards of that machine like a baby in its mother's womb. I have been in there tinkering and toying around with everything. I've lifted the playfield up, and I've had that puppy standing legs over its head, and I've been petering around with everything. [00:36] I've been doing fucking flashing SD cards in order to have fresh boots. I've been trying everything to fix my Stern Pokemon Limited Edition pinball machine that I unfortunately made a grave mistake and installed the wrong code on, [00:51] which I believe has updated the firmware of my node boards to make it believe that it's a version that it's not, which means it can't function, which means it's not playable. And every time I try and, like, fresh wipe it, [01:04] fresh install the limited edition firmware, I can't do it. I've been trying everything, and the support lines are closed until Monday. But I'm desperate because I'm highly addicted to pinball right now. So that's why I'm so greasy. Just wanted to set the record straight on that [01:16] so no one gets any wrong ideas about my hygiene or anything. My hygiene is the best there is, thanks to Cheeky. Best soap and best deodorant in the world. We actually have a new scent out right now, Cherry Bomb. [01:28] So it's available now, usecheeky.com. So, yeah, I could have showered before making this video, but I was once again in the lab with my pinball machine, and I wanted to talk about this because it was on my mind. It's something I learned about last night. [01:41] The case of Caleb Flynn. This is actually a very serious case, but something really unhinged and wacky happened during the most recent court appearance. [01:54] Now, in a nutshell, Caleb Flynn is a man accused of murdering his wife. And there's overwhelming evidence to suggest that it was most likely him. Caleb Flynn is a name you may also recognize from American Idol. [02:09] So it is a name and a story that has been getting headlines, and I just recently learned about something that happened where they played some AI-generated music that he was sending to his mistress. [02:21] And it's such, like, a crazy thing to see and hear in court that even the people there in attendance couldn't help but, like, laugh at points at how awkward and weird the whole thing was. [02:36] That reminds me, did you see the court clip of them playing a pastor's AI music for his mistress? everyone in the crowd is trying not to laugh. That string of sentences there is... [02:49] I can't even parse what that looks like. What does that mean? A court clip of them playing a pastor AI music for his mistress and the crowd trying not to laugh Why would they even be playing AI music for his mistress in court The pastor wanted you to hear this And it [03:10] the fucking Mace Windu fell out of a window thing. Check media. Let me see. [03:28] So why are they doing this? [03:52] What is happening? Why are they... So why are they playing... What the fuck is happening? Caleb Flynn. Caleb Flynn's former mistress took the stand at his murder trial. [04:05] Here's what we learned. So his former lover sat on stand. Prosecutor opened a cardboard box. Oh, I thought this was about to be the AI music. They put the music in a box or something. [04:20] So what is this case about? Prosecutors say books show the motive for why Caleb Flynn, former American Idol contestant and church worship leader murdered his wife in February and staged the crime scene to make it look like she was killed by an intruder. [04:33] Holy fuck. Flynn fled not guilty. His defense acknowledged he sent messages and cheated on his wife but said the prosecution lacks key evidence such as murder weapon to prove he committed the crime. [04:45] How does the AI music come into this? While Flynn even texted about wanting to kill his wife He said he hated his wife and referred to her by a crude codename, Douche. [04:57] Early in their relationship, he said he wished she was dead. I just want her dead and gone, he wrote in 2025, and even asked Botner for help. What can I do, Botner wrote on March 24, 2025. [05:11] Kill her, Flynn responded, referring to his wife. Later, Flynn even fantasized about killing her himself. If I could literally kill her and not go to hell, I would do it in a heartbeat. That's how dark and hateful I feel. [05:24] So how does this... I don't understand why this AI music comes into this. This is like a super serious case. So the AI generated the song for the mistress, and it's being shown in court to show how much he loved her. [05:36] Thursday, prosecution played two versions of an AI love song that Flynn, former American Idol contestant, generated for his mistress. They found the AI song files as well as lyrics for the song in his notes app after using forensic tool Gray Key to break into his phone. [05:49] We found audio files on Caleb's iPhone that seemed to have been ad-generated and related to his relationship with his mistress. They're in two different keys, ones like happy... Okay, that's what I just read there. Permission to publish, Your Honor. You may. [06:06] Alright I mean it is evidence you know it is in between scandalized and there's [06:18] a scandal of black and blue it ain't never matter when it was you and me Both of them just had the most visceral reaction to that line. [06:37] Age never mattered when it came to you and me. Oh my god, Caleb, what the fuck? Wow. What a singer-songwriter, AI prompt engineer. [06:58] He can't help me enjoy a life we could choose So close to forever, so much left to lose [07:14] In the sight of every love you've made And whoever's filming this is filming it like a fucking music video right now. You'll think this actually is kind of cinematic. [07:26] they could just stay on the guy but they're giving us the entire crowd reaction here the fucking crowd goes mild stuff they are cooking they're actually cooking [07:56] Wow. [08:21] Wow. That was something, Caleb. Huh. So I'm assuming he can't sing anymore, which is why he's AI generating that. [08:34] And he really got to work on those lyrics. It's a seven-minute song, too. This is cut down. Dude generated a seven-minute ballad [08:46] to his mistress. Seven minutes, and he brought the fucking free bird out on her? There's so many tokens, bro. It really is. [08:58] Apparently the mistress also went through the meaning of each lyric too while she was on the witness stand. For example she testified the line about early mornings was about the mornings they met up when he was supposed to be at the gym She then testified late nights was about when Ashley would be at camp [09:16] The lyrics were generated by AI, no? I think he prompted the engineer. I think he prompted the lyrics. He looks evil. [09:28] Well, he's accused of killing his wife, and there's some text messages where he literally talks about how he wants to kill his wife. I mean, I'd say it's not looking good for him. For the very little I know about this case, [09:40] just the bits and pieces that I was able to take in at a glance, I think he probably did it, man. This guy fucking hated his wife and often talked and fantasized about killing her. [09:54] Caleb Flynn! Season 12, American Idol contestant. Prosecutors also had his iPhone data extracted and it showed his AirPods were connected at the time of the murder. [10:07] Bro might have been listening to his own tunes. It really feels like they have all of the evidence that would be required to make this a pretty easy and shut case. [10:22] I feel like any song submitted as evidence is just going to be awkward as fuck for everyone involved when it's presented in court. Yeah, but sometimes it's, like, legitimately valuable. Like, sometimes the songs are helpful in the case. [10:34] Like, admitting to shit in the songs. Why not just get a divorce instead? They're so odd. I don't know, man. They're fucking psychos. I couldn't tell you. He's trying to apply logic to a crazy person. [10:48] Because then she'll get half his shit. Well, better than getting no shit, because now he's just going to jail forever. Remember the video of the guy singing an apology to the judge during his sentencing and just kept saying, Your Honor, I'm sorry, sorry, sorry. [11:02] Yes! That's a classic. What was that guy's name? Your Honor, I want to say I'm sorry for the things I've done. And I try and be stronger in this life I chose. [11:16] But I want you to know that door I closed. And Your Honor, I'm sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. To my mother, I'm sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. [11:31] To the baker, I'm sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. Yes, Your Honor, I'm sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. Thank you, Your Honor. [11:43] You're going to copyright strike you. Imagine. That was beautifully said, sir. You're free to go. I bet he thought that's what would happen. I bet when he was coming up with this plan, he's like, [11:55] I'm going to sing this, it's going to melt everyone's heart and they're going to let me go just like a movie if only you did that crime today you would have only gotten 30 days and had to pay a $500 fine, true [12:07] actually yeah, he committed the crime too early
