thing. It is one step close to being validated as an honest player in the
market. But a lot of small creators and while I say small creators, I am
talking about those with subscribers ranging from 5 ,000 to 50 ,000. One thing that
remains the same is that, how do I get the sponsorship?
What do I get a sponsorship? Well, let me make this thing clear Sponsorship depends
on your subscribers and your video views. For example, if you have 10k subs and
you are receiving at least 500 views per video, then you are most likely to
get sponsored by a brand rather than someone with only 100 plus views per video.
You have seen a lot of other creators talking about various brand products in their
videos and you also know that these brands pay the creators for showing or talking

a tech channel like mine, then you are more likely to get sponsored by the
brands of the tech industry or other type of channel niche. Now there is two
ways to get sponsored. One is to being directly approached by a brand themselves or
second is to approach the brand yourself. Now for a brand to approach you is
a good thing. It means that a brand approves of your content and trusts you
to handle their product. Now depending on your channel subscribers, the brand
will pay you for example if you have 20k subs with views per video ranging
from 5000 and above then you will likely to receive more money than rather than
someone with 20k subs with views ranging from 500 plus per video usually when the
brand approach you they can ask for three types of sponsorship first the barter system
where you get to keep the product for showing it in your video second the
money system where you will receive a certain
amount for showing the product but you have to return the product afterwards back to
the company. And the third is the combo where both the things can happen. But
now comes the thing that how can a small creator get that sponsorship. Well, I
know it's hard to get sponsorship when we have less subscribers because a brand will
only sponsor you if they see this important thing known as the rate of return.
Which means the brand can only sponsor you if they see a potential rate of
return. Which means that if a brand
is giving you a product to see or talk about, well let's say if it's
$50, then they expect to get at least $100 from this investment
on you. This rate of return is the main thing that is why a lot
of brands avoid sponsoring small creators because they are afraid that they will not receive
any profit. So, to counter this, what you can do to assure a brand that
if they sponsor you, you can this what you can do to assure a brand
that if they sponsor you then they can expect a good rate of return now
how do you approach this brand first thing first you have to do is to
select a particular brand search on youtube search for creators with the same subscribers as
yours and same type of content as yours and see which brands are sponsoring them
because if those brands are sponsoring these youtubers then they can also sponsor you now
once you have shortlisted the brands that can
sponsor you now comes the main part how to approach them well actually it's quite
simple just simply go to the brand's website and look for their contact email now
all you need to do is write an email to the brand first giving a
thorough look back of your channel and the type of content you produce and then
you need to specify to the brand that how they can benefit from sponsoring you
you can assure them that you will properly explain about their product and make a
