with I want to start with the Biden car

Biden President Joe Biden of the United
States we thank you we sold this
Cadillac atsv which has got to be one of
the coolest presidential cars although
Trump had a Diablo Roadster yeah which
is the coolest presidential car yes
definitely he also I believe had the
first F430 in the United States I think
it was a coupe I remember seeing it at
Amelia Island many years ago F 430
number one yeah but
anyway
this is Joe Biden's Cadillac which we
sold great spec great spec was like a
one one with a special interior I read
the whole story about this car and it
was really really really cool like Biden
walked into the dealership post vice
presidency but pre-residency there was
that four years where Trump was
President where he was you know a
regular person and he walked into the
dealership and basically was like I want
this brown interon like we don't do it
in the V cars and he called up Johan
denish who was his who was the CEO of
Cadillac and they got it done and he
like drove the car in and that the
dealership says in there they wrote up
this like whole thing about it they said
that he um would come in for oil changes
and like enjoyed hanging out at the car
dealership because his dad was in the
car business and he like enjoyed that
aspect of the world Nick can you return
to us sometimes can you show us
occasionally Douglas is now engaging
with our producer the table but it's so
cool and it got a ton of Interest 190
comments and let me tell you we um had
to moderate pretty heavily
there were a few more no the comments
were all totally rational and reasonable
and and completely normal um thank you
to the 190 people or that left comments
that were appropriate that were
appropriate how many people do you think
left comments that were inappropriate I
would rather not say but it was exciting
to see a great result

themselves from from doing it they have

few different places to I think NBC did
something on it and uh it's not every
day that the president presid car comes
up for sale yeah that's that's very true
someone says imagine if it was Saddam
H's F40 that would be insane it would
yeah it would be it would be insane it
sure would be if you have saddam's F40
which was out there somewhere years ago
please sell it on cars and bids we would
we would love to have that yep that
would be a cool auction as well last
update I saw that it wasn't running so
well it was like but well what happened
was they tried to get it serviced in
Kuwait I I did like a deep dive on this
thing himself tried to get it serviced
in Kuwait they said in Period and yeah
there were all sorts of problems and and
they they then they couldn't get parts
from Ferrari because there's trade
embargos and stuff and so they were
there was just like a a general blanket
against Ser no one wanted to serice No
One legitimate wanted to service that
car
and so that's why like the remember the
pictures that had like Mickey Mouse
steering wheel it was just dumb crap
yeah of course but yeah um can I request
that we talk about the next car closing
the next car closing is a Bentley Mulan

car is just it's just what a Bentley
should be when that pulls up behind you
you get out of the way because it's just
like man that's somebody doing something

currently right now consider a $70,000
car this is a you could straight trade
your 1997 Land Rover Defender where the
the the speedometer wobbles
between like a 30 mph range at any given
moment that's not disclosed in the list
that's they all do it sure sure it's not
just that design for this I know this is
so cool it is such a legit old school
angry the thing about Bentley refined R
the Flying Spur is a better car in every
respect this looks better but this is
just cooler the person who went in to
buy this walked right past that car like
didn't look at the kind of LGT volag
this Volkswagen crap nope buy a real
Bley they traded in their Arnage to get
this that's what they did there's that
statistic that Bentley gave that I've
said before maybe even on this program
that the average net worth of a
Continental GT owner was 3 million and
the average net worth of an Arnage owner
was 30 million even though the cars in
price were only separated by like 80
grand it was the type of person the
taste of and the WAN of course is the
car that replaced the it is the type of
car that somebody who owns an E-class
wagon would buy no it's like no this is
like a no but it's the same price
fundamentally that a new one yeah I
think these are so cool and I forget
about them because you never ever ever
seen them but deeply can't remember I've
seen more AR na
our Nazis are around a little bit more
msan are are a lot a lot a lot less
common this is such a CO so cool um all

it you just wanted to talk about how it
was cool and stately and that's about it
yeah would slap you in the face it would
at that six and 3/4 liter and I would

interesting sale of the day so far the
Biden car which was not the Biden car
pull up the last rivan sale your mind is
going to be you saw this I saw this Ken
look at this wow 66 for the SUV right an
r1s just sold for 66 now 20,000 M car so
body damage there's a couple things yeah
but that but that's like normal it's
normal was well spec that's the one 66
G's that this is like becoming this is a
what is it new 90 plus it in Florida too
that that hurts a little cuz the EV
Market isn't as hot you know in the
South no but it's man 66 these are
becoming affordable reasonable cars not
66 is that affordable but it's more
affordable than 90 and they will be in
the 40s before long for a car that's 2
years old right crazy are r1s are what
like high mile R1 ts are in the 50 the
the cheapest one we sold was
59 that's pretty crazy they're coming
down fast yes so cool I want an r1s if I
could pick it up for 66 you could today
I could have could have today supect to
had a reserve and could yeah definitely

would guarante him 6 no I'm kiding I
would I do want an r1s but I I'm I'm I'm
stepping back from buying cars at the
moment uh except for the one I'm getting

algorithmically exploded buying a Toyota
seoa which is a car that is large um boy
the bids keep coming in the masan then
again why shouldn't they it's big and
luxurious while K is is on the in home
page can we look at two other cards that
I just want to talk about yeah what do
you get C5 Corvette Z6 God you are
obsessed obsessed with Corvette right
now I don't know why it's a wonderful
car but you are not a C5 Corvette guy I
think this but I think that I've become
one no you you this is like a recent
thing and I don't think you're serious
about this that is a seriously excellent
car and it's a wonderful value for the
money they drive great I think they look
awesome those wheels are killer they're
reliable all these things you are not a
why aren't I because you like I should
be you have an E-class wagon and like
it's just like it just a yellow Corvette
like come on get out of here I do love
the shape of the true Coupe and I think
yeah that that profile that profile is
cool right the true Coupe which very few
were only the Z6 and then one model year
of non Z6 oh it's so cool I was telling
kenon this earlier but the first fast
car that I was ever in as a passenger as
a kid was a C5 Corvette not not Z6 C5
Corvette and I I I moved from Italy
where our cars had 60 horsepower and 104
horsepower I just looked this up right
and then my neighbor had a our neighbor
had a a had a C5 Corvette mov from m to
the Midwest and of course his neighbor
had a C5 Corvette it it was in Western
Massachusetts thank you you didn't have
a choice surprising uh the the neighbor
next to them had the beginning of the
Midwest it was just I I'm sure he didn't
even floor it all the way but it was and
you were like Trooper for yeah this is
what a America is y i I haven't felt
that feeling
since about the speed not about America
you know great right right we always are
feeling that about America but that's I
just don't see like I just don't see it
fully legitimately won I mean it's no
Reserve you can put your money where
your mouth is right now that car were in
California uh that's that's what's
holding you back not the fact that it's
a yellow qu correct everybody always
says that that's like the number one
thing man if that was just local to me I
would have bought it would also be the
second most I've ever spent on a car I'm
in all these Facebook market Facebook
groups where they talk about I'm selling
like a wagon one the wagon one is my
favorite wagon El wagon elitist triks
and the guys are like people post their
car and man if that was in New York dude
if that was in New York you would just
find another excuse that's not the
reason you're not buying that car you're
just people who want things like that
make them happen right you you bu you go
to buy in my opinion you go to buy the
right car wherever it is like I bought
but here's the thing if you don't like
really want it it's more of like an
impulse purchase it helps if it's near
you maybe it shouldn't be an impulse
purchase maybe it should be something
think the ab give it one week do have
four uh was it 4 405 yeah so man so I
would have more horsepower than you have
which is an important rule yeah you'd
have you'd have by a little bit by a
little bit you have more torque than the
M5 does too but then again you'd have to
sit in that awful interior that's
terrible plastic
rattling around and you just and then
you'd also have your America plates on
that car like you know I mean it would
be something I give it a week and if you
still feel that way then pursue it but
there's no way that you buy one of those
I just don't see it but I want one all
right sorry we can continue though let
let's move on for my desire to have a C5
Corbat all right let's talk about the
lifted smart car please oh sure yeah
let's please pull that up it's one of
the featured ones okay now the
interesting thing about this car and
this is something that Kenan is not
aware of
but you are y this smart was not sold in
the United States SM was this is a first
gen smart okay yep they were imported by
this company in these Coast that
federalized them somehow and uh so you
see them occasionally but even though it
looks just like the smart that was sold
here it was it is not the smart that was
sold here now this particular Smart
looks a little different because it is
modified for off-road use Kon have you
considered the purchase of this smart uh
nope why you know it really fits into my
life it is it is cool I'll give you that
but it is so cool yeah it is cool I
think the first J smart is just cool in
general and any off-road build right
kind of just helps I just want to know
was going through this person to go
offroading right you're killing it right
and also the those first gen headlights
are just yep plastic so um early a cheap
car yeah it was made this you should be
all over this car because it was made in
conjunction with a German automobile
manufacturer and a watch company so you
especially should
be oh a watch
car watch all cars good it's cool I mean
I know but imagine a car watch combo
platter no I watches or watches car I
mean no I not watch watch Cars or cars
you don't think there should be any
crossover no I mean the brightling I
think so the the brightling and Bentley
did a crossover where you know
brightling put the you know the clocks
in the cars were made by brightling and
then they did one for watches and I
think watches are like the most goh like
tasteless terrible watches and they're
they're just these huge crazy busy it's
like that's like it's just lame well
they know who's buying brand new
Bentley's let's be honest yeah in O like
o6 like yeah but it was you know I don't
like those crossovers the Ferrari panai
one's another one Porsche Porsche does a
bunch of por Porsche has Porsche Design
also which is like a whole thing doesn't
have any respect yeah not not the watch
World Porsche they learn the Porsche
brand name didn't carry its way into the
watch there are serious watch
manufacturers that have had
relationships with car companies but
like they're generally not well regarded
and poorly executed I have found but you
know well this went the other way this
went the other way right yeah wild but
you know a car um unfortunately it seems
like the Mulan msan excuse me did not
quite sell but B didn't get there but
someday it
could it will they it will depreciate
like it continue continue to keep going
down um can we next discuss the fat
truck yeah please okay K you know about
this yeah hold on if I just SE if you go
into the search fat it'll probably pull
up yep there it is all right what is
this thing filipo tell us it's an
amphibious four-wheel drive ATV that
also comes with a transport trailer
which you can see in that first picture
it's it's you can just go everywhere
truly everywhere literally you the the
thing like about
the thing that I like about this is not
the fact that it has a door in the front
and I don't mean a front door no no the
door is where in kenan's car where the
engine is y okay that's not the thing I
like BMW
IA likea the thing I like most about
this is that the lower half of the
vehicle is wheel well you need some
really large tires yeah the tires is you
need when you when you go it comes time
to replace them it would be pricey man
that's some sidewall the lower half of
the vehicle is wheel you know what the
approach angle on this is infinite it's
like a it's like
195 an approach right you can go
everywhere doesn't make any sense I love
this thing I imagine it could climb a
wall like the H1 Hummer could you
imagine it what like the the H1 Hummer
could famously climb a vertical wall
this could easily c yeah the
the approach is there W video does it
it's a joystick not a steering wheel
control F it's a Jo what's it powered by
something like small diesel it's a it's
a turbo
diesel2 L turbo dieser 4 the
unfortunately the engine photos don't
help me out very much yeah they don't

that that noted it it's a 22 L turbo

through them and I'll give you all the

what is the furthest you have traveled
to buy a
car when we lived in North Carolina I
went to Maine to buy our e-cloth wagon
that's pretty far I went to Florida from
Ohio to buy a car that's pretty far I
think that's about as far we went to
Minnesota from Philly I went from
Atlanta to San Jose to buy then I drove
it home the worst mistake of my life I
think you win I think you win yeah
definitely you ever bought a car from
Europe oh you know in the from the
Ferrari came from Dallas but that's not
nearly as far as and you didn't like go
no I didn't I mean I didn't go but I
bought the car no I drove through Dallas
on that trip and I kept going that's the
thing you're like God I still have so
far to go yeah yeah I mean that was that
trip was one of the experiences in my
life you went with your mom I went with
my mom from Las Vegas to Denver and then
my best friend Joe came with me from
Denver to Atlanta and let me tell you
something when you passed the Arkansas
border and it's night and you're like
I'm not even
close yeah that's a tough feeling
yeah that's you know famously though
it's a comfortable car it's looking
right and refined and not Buzzy on the
highway yep and the AC didn't work right
you to discover that on the drive home
AC work discover that very yeah like the
first day was July went through the
desert it was a tough Drive
kind either it's not like it gets cool
at any point right no it really it only
when you got into the mountains um next
question is from question mark oh why
doesn't Kenan own a V10 BMW yeah Kenan
reliability next next
question now I just I I don't grab I
love the E60 M5 and I love the E63 and
64 M6 um I just for the E39 I also think
that the E39 is the way it delivers
power is a little bit less compromised
the V10 is amazing but it doesn't really
make a lot of torque down low its torque
curve is much higher and so you really
got to strangle you really got to like
rev it out to get the most out which is
a lot of fun but around T like if you're
just trying to drive around town the M5
to me feels faster because the torque
comes in much lower in the Rev range and
so I kind of prefer that delivery on the
highway though the V10 the M5 and M6 is
one of the craziest experiences I think
you can have in especially the manual
one it's just like it's just insane but
for me I just you know if I'm going to
I've invested in taking care of one very
high maintenance BMW and to own any to
own one of those V10 BMWs you have to be
ready to own a Ferrari basically it's
the very similar cost of Maintenance
between the two it's very intense very
expensive and just like for me it's not
what I love it's not worth it to me but
to a lot of people it is and to those
people it's an amazing car so that's
that's why I don't have one I was 18
when that car came out and um
I still remember thinking to myself wow
they came out with a V10 yeah what will
they do next and I assumed it would be a
V12 yeah I mean that was The Logical
yeah progression I was like they're
going to do a V12 M5 someday no no and
then turbos I didn't know back but I
think I believe I'm correct in saying
the the V10 the M5 the E60 M5 is still
the fastest M5 in terms of top speed it
cuz it can do over 200 and the other m5s
don't I remember when it came out 500
horsepower was insane at the time na
horsepower in
a yep the
E63 E55 had done 469 horsepower in3 that
was an enormous leap from the previous
from your car which was 400 yeah it was
a huge leap
394 394 I I just want it his was only
394 his yeah 394 what a weak link the
E55 in that era had 360 and so 360 395
and then they went to 469 like oh my
Lord yeah and then BMW came out with B
this is what we got what's up and don't
forget the Formula One tie there cuz
they were building V10 Formula 1 engines
at the time and that is you know there
there was a lot of tie together there
more so than your car wow you know it's
interesting that you mentioned the
Formula 1
V10 that car has a more that car has a
more like defendable link to Formula 1
than yard as I think Kon I just read the
whole history of it and there's a book
coming out about the C GT uh it no but
someone else is and I've pre-ordered on
Amazon it cost hundreds of dollars it
makes no sense but they figured they'll
sell 1,200 of them because everybody's
got a C by and in that book it will say
I haven't read the book yet it's not out
yet but I was I was did a deep dive into
this and the engine was developed for
Formula 1 footwork yep was never used in
Formula One then it was then they put it
on then they just tried to get it into
Lon couldn't do that either and so then
you know they they put it in a road car
I put it in a boxer that's what they did
a long Bo a long boxer Crow GT is like
one of those dogs that's
long a do yeah but you know like a long
one yeah okay we'll move on yeah uh

buy cars from he actually says the

besides Florida are red flags to buy
cars from I won't buy cars from Florida
I I don't pursue that it's it's
terrifies me and I don't want to go down
that road kenon what else do you get can
I add in one because I I just
experiencesin well I I no I bought
reclass wagon from Maine and it was
previously in Vermont before that and I
just spent $5,000 redoing the the break
lines because they all Russ apparently
on wt12 if any state where like that
uses road salt uh which is Northeast
know this know it really hit me hard in
the last three weeks of getting this
repaired as someone who likes to work on
cars like yeah there's a huge difference
so yeah I agree the kind of all the the
M Midwestern states and the Northeast
really problematic one it's a surprise
is actually Utah PE one of our our
specialist is from there originally and
he says everybody pictures Utah as like
dry desert and cacti everywhere whatever
but no it's like
they use road salt there and so there
are a lot of rusty cars actually from
from from Utah so that's one maybe you
don't think about that it's like that no
I don't agree with any of that I would
say like Hawaii is one because the Salt
Air you get a lot of rust so God the
Salt Air some of those islands are like
four hours to drive across are you four
hours from the ocean where you currently
are you got more Salt Air than like half
of Hawaii people are like oh it's an
island there Salt Air look around you
can walk to the ocean from here are you
guys are you salt there are the cars
down are the cars down here rusting
salty boy one of them is pretty Rusty
down here that yellow Defender I'm
looking at that car is
brilliant it did rust because of the
Salt Air but that car is a few hundred
feet you don't understand the difference
between 100 and kenon had has had
problems with numbers all day today I'm
sorry for
that no but Florida is definitely a red
flag Florida is the biggest one because
of the title stuff and in addition to
hurricanes and humidity where mold all
that the weather doesn't trouble me in
Florida it's just like there is a
culture of kind of scamming and like you
just have to you have to be a little bit
more aware if you're going to buy a car
from Florida um yeah do your homework
the title stuff you're referencing is
like Florida is kind of notorious
they'll title a lot of stuff they'll
title wash stuff you just have to know
you got to get a Carfax you got to get
an inspection you got to get like we
post 300 pictures yeah you need all that
you need kind of need that otherwise if
you're looking at a V8 Vantage and it's
in Florida and you're like this is ter
Grand cheaper than all the other ones
yeah there's a reason I don't know what
it is yeah I agree with that you'll find
out

co touch back from service we'll have a

choose to drive your 4 GT or your career

get rid of them all and just pick one if

saying that the what you're effectively
saying there is the Italian flare and
style and drama is way is preferable to
you than the Precision Engineering
driver Centric folk you appreciate the
experience more of that more in the
theater more than the actual driving and
you know what else C GT you know what
else the Kos is also really special when
it's just sitting here and we're looking
at it in a way that the other ones
aren't yeah I agree with that that's
fair but it is is the coolest car in the
world they're also they should they
should cost twice what they do and
honestly if they cost twice what they do

bit differently the current layout that
he has them parked in is kunos 4 GT CR
GT and it's actually that is kind of the
spread because like the interesting the
Kos is at the extreme of just style and
experience and craziness and the CR GT
is the ult is the Focus driver car and
the 4 GT sits right in the middle
because it's beautiful to look at it's
like it's got a pretty jaw-dropping
design on its own gets a lot of
attention when you drive it for instance
and it's also wonderful to drive it's
like right in the middle and it's more
reliable it's a good three we just if
only we could have an f42 well but we

world okay so the Lancer Evo came to the
Lancer Evo went through seven supposed
Generations really it was minor face

eighth one was the eight and the nine
are the coolest of the two the 10 was
cool but the eight the nine feel like
the old school Evo this is a nine and it
looks so cool and it has like no miles
and very few mods it has what 20 30,000
that if you want
the it has 11,000 miles if you want the
best EVO and it's an RS this look at
that look at that blanking plate for the
stereo that is how you live that is how
you live cuz you got that that those
weight reductions are important and you
remove the stereo if you're a real
performance guy you don't have a stereo
you got a shifter that looks like a
baseball and you got tarmat gravel snow
next to your Tac this is a real car God
I love this thing this is so cool when
it came in I was like I kind of want it
because it's the last unmodded Evo but
with only 11,000 miles you could never
drive it by the way kenon can you go
actually to the door panel just like the
CRX I there was something that I noticed

trunk carpeting removed another front
door panel look at that that is cool
that's pretty serious this is an RS this
thing is stripped down they got nothing

but it's not that cool and only a couple
of special versions might have a shot

also capped at a certain point so I
don't really factor that in as much I
generally look at what the car is sold
for is what I'm considering what about
r&ms like do you think of that as the
market value on that car with with
incredibly few exceptions yeah yeah yeah
I think so too yeah people are like oh
it's not worth that it's worth more the
BS weren't in the room it's like well
maybe it's because the car has seven
accidents on the car right there also
there are a lot of bidder active biders
on cars and bids and we Market a lot of
so yeah if that's what the if the market
speaks the market speaks that's what it
thinks the cars are it's the beauty of
the auction sites is the market tells
you what they think the car is worth
right and some people don't want to
believe that or believe that there was
some sort of flaw that day or whatever I
just I don't really think it quite like
that generally and and I do some there
are cars where like and owners where
they're willing to wait three years to
find the right buyer yeah but they're
waiting three years to find the right
buyer yeah yeah right I mean that's the
thing I that's exactly right I I some
people are like well I I I didn't sell
it with you guys and I made more later
how long it take 18 months well yeah but
you had to you had to ensure it and fuel
it and maintain it for all that time and
you happen to find the one person that
was not aware of the market it's not
aware of the market right you sold it to

truly think that our results are market
value and I don't include the bid the
the buyer fee either although there are
a couple sites if you're careful out
