[0:26] voice seriously who the hell talks like
[0:29] that those anime girls could be well in
[0:31] their 18 years of age and still talk
[0:34] like a newborn baby I don't understand
[0:37] it pisses me off every single time I see
[0:40] it it's a cheap attempt at making them
[0:42] seem cute and childlike which is kind of
[0:45] weird let's be honest I think you could
[0:48] still make anime girls talk like a
[0:50] normal functioning human being and still
[0:52] make them cute without them sounding
[0:54] like a toddler I just think it's
[0:55] unnatural and cringy and I can't I can't
[0:59] bear to hear anymore Shon and MC's that
[1:02] fight with 60 broken bones well I love a
[1:05] good fight in anime one that makes you
[1:07] stay at the edge of your seat just
[1:08] waiting anxiously for what's going to
[1:10] happen next you know the MC is fighting
[1:12] bravely but suddenly got their leg
[1:14] broken they shouldn't be able to fight
[1:16] anymore right what are they going to do
[1:18] jump around with one leg well don't
[1:20] worry cuz have you ever heard of lack of
[1:23] good writing well with lack of good
[1:25] writing that character who just got
[1:27] their leg broken will just scream a bit
[1:29] because it probably hurts and then
[1:31] continue to fight like nothing happened
[1:34] in fact sometimes after those major
[1:36] injuries they sometimes even manage to
[1:39] get even stronger make it make sense and
[1:41] then that same get injured scream goes
[1:44] back to fight like nothing happened gets
[1:46] stronger cycle goes on and on until
[1:48] somebody finally dies look I get the
[1:51] adrenaline rush and all with people
[1:53] feeling literally nothing after losing
[1:55] limbs but I'm so numbed out by these
[1:57] shows that now and I've been watching
[1:59] Demon Slayer and I don't know tundo gets
[2:02] stabbed in the jaw I'm just like yeah
[2:04] suck it up that's nothing protagonists
[2:07] should fight with 60 broken bones only
[2:10] crybabies stop fighting after getting
[2:12] stabbed once fatal injury excuses you
[2:15] know when a character suffers a clearly
[2:18] deadly fatal injury we are supposed to
[2:20] believe that it's the end for them
[2:22] they're definitely dead no coming back
[2:25] from that but then suddenly without
[2:27] mentioning that ability before they pull
[2:30] Uno reverse card and be like nope I'm
[2:33] very much alive and couldn't be better
[2:35] and then that ability is never mentioned
[2:37] or used again um excuse me what the
[2:40] actual F you lost half of your body how
[2:42] are you alive like how in Attack on
[2:45] Titan there's this famous scene where
[2:47] this character which I'm not going to
[2:49] name losty said he's dead right clearly
[2:52] no matter how you see it he's dead but
[2:55] no because in anime logic apparently
[2:58] this character managed to somehow
[3:00] transfer his Consciousness to his Jews
[3:04] and save himself even though he got
[3:07] beheaded he got beheaded what the actual
[3:11] the dead parent
[3:13] curse oh my God a parent figure of the
[3:16] main character who's nice and is
[3:18] actually alive what a miracle a blessing
[3:21] finally a Shonen protagonist who can be
[3:24] happy

[3:39] it's just that same fatherless or orphan
[3:42] main protagonist over and over again and
[3:44] when the main character finally have a
[3:46] living parent or living family members
[3:49] for that matter they die in the very
[3:51] first episode seriously what is wrong
[3:53] with these authors do they all have
[3:56] daddy and mommy issues sometimes it is
[3:58] used as a way for getting sympathy
[4:00] points for the MC which I get it but it
[4:03] just doesn't have the same effect after
[4:05] the gajillion fatherless protagonist
[4:08] does it and what I hate the most about
[4:10] the dead parents Trope is how anime
[4:12] treats those dead parents their death
[4:15] doesn't affect the main character in any
[4:17] way which is absurd they're almost never
[4:20] remembered by the main protagonist even
[4:22] though they should be one of the most
[4:24] important people in their lives I just
[4:26] hope that them growing up as an orphan
[4:28] affects them in some way not just they
[4:31] get sad for one episode and then move on
[4:34] I don't think that they have to be
[4:35] depressed but they should see the world
[4:37] differently learn things differently
[4:39] anything I think Fruits Basket is one of
[4:41] the very few anime that does a pretty
[4:43] good job at handling parent loss or
[4:45] really bad parents in general characters
[4:48] we know are going to die in anime there
[4:50] are things called Death flags and just
[4:53] as the name suggest it basically means
[4:55] that just by how a character Acts or is
[4:58] introduced you just know that they're
[5:00] going to die actually a nice living
[5:02] parent figure also enters the death flag
[5:05] territory but we already talked about
[5:06] that the thing about death Flags is that
[5:09] it really annoys me when it is obvious
[5:11] that they're going to die because
[5:13] authors generally make them have the
[5:14] very same personality every single time
[5:17] because to have a memorable death and
[5:19] not just a meaningless one that you
[5:21] don't care about authors need to
[5:22] strategize to get you attached to set
[5:25] character mostly Side characters so they
[5:28] are made to be nice un likable they have
[5:30] heroic goals of helping people save
[5:33] everyone and just in general make you
[5:35] want a roote for them they may have a
[5:36] younger sibling who is sick or a loved
[5:39] one who really cares about them and
[5:41] can't wait to see them come back home
[5:43] generally it is a self-sacrifice for the
[5:46] main protagonist to continue their
[5:48] Journey but they can die in many various
[5:50] ways it's not that I don't like those
[5:52] characters I just don't like how obvious
[5:55] it is that they're going to die if they
[5:56] start talking about helping everyone and
[5:58] say they believe in the protagonist
[6:01] that's a death flag how could you be so
[6:03] nice and selfless now similarly to death
[6:06] Flags there are signs I call Life Flags
[6:09] which I haven't seen anyone talk about
[6:11] this before using these terms but have
[6:14] you ever seen those really scumbag
[6:17] stinky characters just being a little
[6:19] piece of and then wishing from the
[6:21] bottom of your heart that they will die
[6:23] in the worst possible death in rotten
[6:25] hell well those Cy characters were
[6:27] purposely made very unlike able so that
[6:30] the longer they live the more bad stuff
[6:32] they do and the greater your anger
[6:35] towards them like think about it it's a
[6:36] great strategy to make you keep watching
[6:38] to finally see those comebacks get what
[6:40] they deserve so when they finally die
[6:43] you can't help but feel that
[6:45] satisfaction like just think about Gabby
[6:47] every single week of Attack on Titan
[6:50] people would rent how much they hate
[6:51] Gabby and wish for her death and if you
[6:54] don't know Gabby is this very cute
[6:56] little girl who killed a very beloved
[7:00] character my gosh I must have wished for
[7:03] her death more times than there were
[7:05] humans on that Earth before Aaron did
[7:08] the thing yikes and one last Trope I
[7:11] hate the most it is when people watch
[7:13] the whole video and don't like And
