So I've made hundreds of thousands of dollars with affiliate marketing and in this video I'm going to show you exactly how I would go step by step through the process of building an affiliate marketing business from scratch.
Now there's a lot of info to cover in this video but I want to make it very clear to you here that I'm not selling you anything, there's no big pitch, no course, you can learn all of this for free right here in this video and other videos like this on YouTube.
All right, so let's go ahead and get into this video. Now, I'm not going to jump around on screen. There's not going to be tons of edits. It's going to be very much to the point, a lot of information and value that I'm going to provide to you here.
So I do recommend taking some notes as we go through this. And of course, if you're new here, feel free to subscribe. Okay, so what we're going to be talking about in this video, I'll break it down here, and you can feel free to skip around as well. But I want to first talk about some of the basics on what affiliate marketing is, why I think it's the best business to start in 2026.
And then we'll look at how to find different niches, what type of categories should you be talking about to promote products. Then we'll talk about how to actually get into affiliate programs and finding the best ones that convert the best.
And then we'll go into probably the most important part of the video, which is going to be the content engine. How do you get views? How do you get clicks that eventually end up making you money? We'll explain the entire business model there in that section.
And then I also want to share with you some really important tips on building your company, establishing your LLC, some other really important things that I wish I had someone to tell me this when I started affiliate marketing 10 years ago.
And then finally, we'll talk about how to increase revenue, how to get higher affiliate rates, and optimize your business so that you can set this up in a passive manner to make money with affiliate marketing.
Okay, so first things first, let's cover just the real basics of what affiliate marketing actually is. People make this sound very confusing, but the truth is that it's actually pretty simple. So affiliate marketing, you're essentially just marketing a product for a company,
and they're paying you for every conversion or every new customer that is clicking on your custom link that the company gives you. When someone clicks on that and they buy a product through your link, you will get a commission or essentially a piece of the sales for sending that customer.
So you're basically just marketing products for companies. There are thousands of different affiliate programs out there. Most big companies have some type of affiliate program. Maybe you've heard of Amazon Associates.
Target has an affiliate program where they pay 8% for every product that gets purchased. But the basics of it is that you're making content. This could be on any platform. You're getting people to click on your custom link that you've gotten from that company.
And then when people click on your custom link, the company will pay you when that person clicks and then purchases something through that link. And so it's a really great business model. There's three reasons why I think it is the best business for any beginner to start.
The first reason is because there's really almost no cost to getting this started. Besides maybe a little bit of software that you might pay for, it might cost you $25 a month to get this business running.
Compare that to most other types of businesses like an e-commerce store where you might have to spend thousands of dollars on inventory. Even a lot of service businesses, you want to start a lawnmowing company, you have to buy a lawnmower.
That's expensive. Affiliate marketing has almost no cost up front, so I think it's a great one to try out. If it doesn't work out in a few months, okay, so be it. You didn't really lose any money, and I think that's what's important there. The other reason why I think it is one of the best businesses is because you can do this from anywhere in the world.
It doesn't matter what country you're on. As long as you have an internet connection, you can do this. So it's very accessible to everyone. And then the third reason why I think it's a really great business is that you're essentially sending customers to another business,
and you don't have to have your own customer service. If the product breaks, you don't have to do a warranty. Once you get that customer to the company that you're sending them to, it's really not your problem anymore.
And this is pretty great because it allows affiliate marketing to be a very passive income type business. there are weeks where I don't do any work on our affiliate marketing business and the checks are
still rolling in the money's still rolling in and we don't have to deal with customer service or client relationships so that's a really great thing okay all right so something that also comes up pretty often from beginners is how much money can you make with affiliate marketing and I want
to set some realistic expectations here because you know I've been doing this for over a decade and when I started, my platform was YouTube with my personal brand. I grew it to over a million subscribers over the past 10 years
and in my first year, I think I made maybe like $2,000 or $3,000 after an entire year of posting three times a week of long-form YouTube videos. So it took a long time.
Now, since then, we've scaled a lot of other brands doing affiliate marketing and we've scaled a lot faster, but even today, when we start new brands, And, you know, within the first year, most of our affiliate marketing media companies might be making a few thousand dollars a month.
Now, it increases over time as long as you're continuing to push into it, where the first year you might make a few thousand. The year after that, you might make 20, 30 thousand. The year after that, you have the potential to make hundreds of thousands.
Now, that doesn't happen for everyone. There's a lot of luck involved. There's a lot of skill involved. It takes a lot of time and patience. And there's going to be a lot of people who try this, and it fails. And you're not going to make much money. So I just want to set that very clear. You're probably not going to make $10 million by next year on this, but it's something that takes time to build.
And in fact, I have friends who run affiliate marketing businesses, and they quite literally do $20, $30 million per year with affiliate marketing. I'm not joking. You know, some of them have sold their companies to bigger companies, but there's a very high ceiling on how much you can actually make with this, depending on how much time and effort you put into it.
But I would say that a realistic goal that you could set for yourself is that maybe you want to make $1,000 per month with your affiliate marketing business in the next six months. Okay. So by month number six, you're targeting $1,000 per month and then see how it goes from there.
I think that's something realistic that a lot of people can end up reaching. All right. So now let's talk about how to choose a niche. This is a very important step here when figuring out how to start your affiliate marketing
business. And so I really do recommend that you pick a category. And so for me, on my first business for affiliate marketing, which was my personal brand, I chose finance. And so over the past 10 years, I've promoted different types of finance products, brokerages, Robinhood, Webull, some of these other platforms, credit card companies.
And so that was my niche that I chose. Finance is really great because there's really high commissions for those finance products. And so commissions will depend on the type of product that you're promoting.
So, for example, if you're promoting products on Amazon, anytime someone clicks on your link that links them to a product that you link to on Amazon, they will pay you a commission anywhere between 1% and I think 10% for Amazon products
when someone purchases something through your link. But, you know, if you're promoting books and the book is $10 and you're only getting 4% on that, you might only get 40 cents for every sale that goes through. Where on other things like finance products, if you promote a certain type of credit card, right, and the commission on that might be $100 or $200 for every new credit card sign up that goes through Chase or through American Express.
And so you can see that there's a big range for niches on what the average rate is for commissions on those products. And I'll go more into this as we go through this video when I show you how to actually find affiliate programs and apply for things.
So when it comes to choosing a niche, my recommendation would be, you know, it's crucial to choose something that you either have a lot of knowledge on already, might be an expert on it or just have a good sense for it.
But also, really, you should enjoy talking about this because you're going to have to make a lot of content about it. And I tried to make affiliate brands where there were things that I didn't care about, and it was really hard to actually stick with it.
So realistically, most people, if you pick a niche that you just don't care about, like if I picked a niche about raising parrots as pets, I don't care about parrots. And so it's going to be hard for me to wake up in the morning and write blog articles about parrots or make videos on YouTube about parrots.
I just don't care. And so, no offense to parrots, they're cool, but it's just not my thing. And so it would be hard to do that. Whereas with finance content, I live and breathe this. I talk about this every day to my friends anyway.
And so that's why I think it works really well for me. And I would recommend that for you as well. So just write down, what are some of your hobbies? It could be anything at all, just something that you either like or have some knowledge on more than most people,
or something that you feel like you could spend time talking about at the dinner table, and that is probably going to be your niche. You can make money in any niche. It might be a low-commission niche, but you can still make good money if you become an expert in that field.
So just a couple of ones that I think are really good niches to be in. obviously like I said finance software is a great niche as well because they have high conditions supplements is an incredible niche because that's also a
very high cost product and one of the best ones that I actually seen is believe it or not mattresses so mattress reviews I seen people I talked to someone who got only a few thousand views on a mattress review video of
like an eight sleep, but the commission was something like $500 for every person that bought a mattress through his link. And so from just a few thousand views, he made thousands of dollars from just that one video, from very few views. So there's all kinds of different niches out there,
But try to pick one, stick with it, and that is really going to be the most important step there. All right, so once we have chosen our niche, we're going to be talking about the content engine of essentially how do you build this business?
Because your whole goal here should be getting views, getting people to view your content, and then convert and end up purchasing products after watching or reading your content. So the content engine is probably the most important aspect of this video that we're going to go in-depth here in the next few minutes.
After that, I'm going to really show you the specifics on building out your company and how to do that, forming your LLC, setting things up, getting your website set up, and everything else to formalize it as a media company
rather than just a person who's throwing out content at the wall hoping something sticks. And then I'll share more details on how to find products that you can actually promote. I'll show you some different affiliate programs that we use to make money.
And then at the end of the video, we'll talk about some missteps or things that I wish I knew earlier on when I was getting started with affiliate marketing. So let's go into the content engine now, because like I said, this is going to be the most important part of the video.
So how do we get people to view our content and click on it and convert on those videos or on those articles or anything else that we're doing? So when I first started with affiliate marketing, things have changed a lot.
And so when I started, it was pretty simple. You would just make a website, you would make a blog, and you could make blog articles every day. They would rank on Google, and you'd get people to read them. You'd embed your affiliate links inside of there, and you could make really, really good money.
In fact, I went to a conference in 2019. It was called FinCon, and I met people who were making tens of millions of dollars with their affiliate marketing blog from their website. So it's still something I think is a very important piece of the pie here to have a website that you can funnel people back to for your affiliate content because you can embed your affiliate links directly inside of articles and reviews.
It's just a lot easier to convert people that way. But in 2026, we need to use something called a content engine. And this is essentially going to be utilizing social media. We're going to be doing long-form, short-form content,
and then funneling them into things like DM automations so that any time that, let's say that you post a video on Instagram Reels, and then at the end of the video, you have a specific call to action
for that person to comment a specific word. Say, for example, I'm talking about the best credit card for students, and towards the end of the video, I'll say comment student in the comment section below,
and I will send you a free guide on the best credit cards for students more in depth. And when they do that, you use a software called ManyChat. I'll leave links to all this stuff down below for you to check out.
But essentially, ManyChat will go, once they comment that specific keyword on that video, ManyChat will go and send them a DM with, hopefully, a free guide. You could just send the affiliate link, but you're better off sending them a free guide
that links back to your website where you can then capture those affiliate cookies is what they're called. And so that is the whole name of the game there. That works really well with short form content. Obviously, that's the big thing right now is short form.
And the beauty of that is that you can do this. You can make one piece of content that you can post on Instagram Reels, on TikTok, on YouTube Shorts, and even on Facebook and LinkedIn and on Twitter these days as well. So you can take that one piece of content and repurpose it to multiple different platforms.
So that is something that everyone should be doing right off the bat is putting out that short-form content. How much of that, that's up to you to decide. I think the more, the better with that. You really want to go with quantity.
Hopefully you can do at least one piece of content per day that you can post. And with that specific call to action, that then your DM automation through ManyChat will follow up with people, sending them to your website so that they can learn more about your products that you are promoting.
Okay, so that's something I think is really, really crucial. On top of that, something that we do very much and what I started with 10 years ago was long-form YouTube, and my niche was finance, right?
And so making long-form videos, I made a stock market for beginners tutorial, and that video made me hundreds of thousands of dollars in affiliate commissions by promoting brokerages and investing apps like Robinhood.
and the beauty of the long form videos is that it's really pretty evergreen. So I even have videos that I made eight years ago that are still making me money in affiliate commissions. So this is a bit longer to get into.
It's harder to get into because you're sitting down making long form videos. It can feel kind of scary to get started with as compared to short form, but it's a little bit more evergreen and I have videos that are making me still
maybe $100, $200 a month in affiliate commissions from many, many years ago that back in 2018, I made a video and it's still doing well. So that's what I like about long form content with
YouTube. And then also having a website is going to be a really important step for building your media brand. So the whole point of the content engine is you're really, what I want you to do is go out and post content on various different platforms, see what works and then lean into that
harder once something starts to work. And so here's the breakdown for this of what I would do. So my recommendation here is to start with short form content that you're funneling back to your website or to your free guides that you can have with your links embedded. Once you do that,
then I would recommend getting into long form YouTube content and building out your website further so that people can go to it as a resource. There are companies like Bankrate.com or Nerd
wallet that are making hundreds of millions of dollars per year, mostly through affiliate marketing from their sites, even in 2026. So NerdWallet is a public company. You can read their financials and learn about their strategies.
This is a finance affiliate company, so it's really interesting. But they make a lot of money because they have mortgage calculators on their website that then funnel into mortgages that you can get, and they'll get a big commission for
that. Same for credit cards. Same for investing apps. They'll have these calculators that people can use on their website to then funnel into that. So I would try to even study a couple of your potential competitors, see what they are doing, and see what you can do to make something similar
to them without obviously copying. So the content engine, very crucial. If you have any more questions about this, feel free to reach out to me and I'm happy to chat about this anytime. But that's what I would do starting off with your affiliate marketing journey. Now, let's talk about
building your company because the goal of this is I really don't want you to go out and just try to just post content with your personal name and just see what happens and hope for the best. I think what you should try to do is think about this as you're building a media company,
a media brand. Think about the ones that maybe you follow, maybe Business Insider or Morning Brew, Barstool Sports. There's so many different media brands out there that have a lot of value in them
and that's what I would suggest going for is to build this brand. So build a company. If you're going to want to either set up an LLC or a C corporation, you can do some more research on that. We have some videos on how to do that,
but it's pretty easy. You can use something like Northwest Registered Agent to have them help you set up an LLC for your company. We run hours through LLCs. It just helps with some tax advantages and some liability stuff.
But once again, I'm not a lawyer. I'm not an accountant. So I would look into that. But I do think you should take that step to formalize your affiliate marketing business rather than just being a side hustle, actually being a real company.
So as I said, building one site is going to be an important part of creating your media brand because this is where you're going to be sending people back to for your affiliate content. So when you're sending them to your free guides, it's going to be hosted on your website.

and then you can secure your domain as well. Now when it comes to domains, I do recommend sticking with a .com because people are most familiar with it. You know, you can get away with some other ones like .co.
We run a bunch that end in .co. It still looks pretty clean. I would just avoid ones that look kind of sketchy where people don't want to click on them, like a .xyz or a .something else
that just feels like it could be malware. So try to go for the .com. If you can't get that, do like a .co or a .io or, you know, there's other really short, clean domains as well. But you want this to be as short as possible so that people can remember it and they can find it easily and it just looks clean overall.
So for the purpose of this tutorial, I'm going to do SantrellMoney.com. Let's see if we can get that. And great, it looks like it is available. And so that is a nice, clean domain there for us. And it is free for the first year because we're getting the longer term plan here.
I'm going to click on that. And then we're going to sign up and create our Hostinger account. And I'm going to show you how to build out this site in about five to ten minutes. They have really good AI features that will build out the site for you. So you don't need to know how to code or anything like that.
Very simple. Drag and drop. You can tell the AI exactly what you're looking for for your website. And you can set this up very easily, definitely within a day. And you can also add email marketing. I'm going to do this later.
but I do think Hostinger has some of the best email marketing software out there, especially for the price. And this is a really important part of the content engine is utilizing email because everyone checks their email.
I think it's over 90% of people use email in the United States and it's also very, very cost effective because you don't have to pay for ads. You can just send a newsletter or update and you can embed your affiliate links directly inside of those emails.
They're very low cost for sending them. So that's something that I will definitely recommend as well. We have some email marketing tutorials that I can link below here. So let me go ahead and check out and show you how to build this site.
All right, so we have signed up for Hostinger, and now we're going to build out our site. So this is the landing page that we've ended up on, and we can just tell AI exactly what we are looking for on this website.

If you like any of them, you can choose them and just drag and drop, fill in some information, and it's very easy to do that.
But for this, I'm going to be telling AI what I'm looking for on my website, StanfellMoney.com, which is going to be a website all about finance, you know, talk about credit cards and the best bank accounts
and the best investing apps and other things like that because it's a very high-value niche, and I have a lot of experience with it, and I also like it. So let me go ahead and do that. And if you're really feeling lazy, you can just go over to ChatGPT or Claude
to ask it to create a description that you can then give to Hostinger's AI to build out your website. So I'm actually going to do that. So let me go over there now. So I just said, make me a description for an affiliate marketing blog on finance apps and tools that promote banks, credit cards, and investing apps.
All right, so here is a good description that we have. I'm just going to copy that, paste it in here, and then let Hostinger AI build out this website for us. And while we're waiting, we can play this dinosaur game. It's pretty fun. I play this a lot.
Just don't want to hit one of these cabinets. But it really only takes a minute or two. I think my best score is probably 1,000-something. Yeah, so let's just skip ahead here. You don't have to watch me play. Oh, I lost. Okay, so this is what Hostinger AI has built for us
in just about a minute or two. And it's looking like some pretty good framework that we can probably work off of. But if you're not happy with it, You can just go back and click on Edit Idea, and it will remake this site for you. You can do this a thousand times, and you can just continue to do this until it makes the perfect site for you.
You can look at the mobile version as well. I think it used a little bit of work, but we can just train it and tell it exactly what we are looking for. So once you're happy with the overall layout of the site, then you can just click on Continue,
and this is where we can actually do the drag and drop, and we can put in the specific information that we're looking for. right so maybe we want to change this logo very easy to do a lot of this is very intuitive so
I think you'd be okay making this we do have full tutorials hour-long tutorials showing you exactly how to use Hostinger's AI builder but let's say we want to replace this image with something else we can just click on that and we can change it out by uploading a file right here
now I would spend a good amount of time just building this out you want to add a section here You can put in specific articles or specific things like maybe your free guide you want to just include right here on your homepage or your Instagram feed or video.
Very easy to do all of that right here. So let's say that we want to add a couple of free articles. We can click on blog. Maybe we want to add four articles right here. And that was very easy to make, right? And so now we can just go here and edit each one of these posts.
And this is where we can fill out all of this information. So let's say that this is an example article that we are writing, and maybe we've made some content for it using a content engine of Instagram videos and YouTube and TikTok videos that are funneling, using ManyChat, funneling into this exact web page here.
And then once you fill this out, you're going to fill out all the information, and you're going to embed your affiliate links directly into these articles. So let's say this is the five best bank accounts, right?
So the five best high-yield savings accounts for 2026, right? And you can fill out the description and everything else, click on Save, and you can build out this article. You can even have Claude or ChatGPT write most of this article for you if you're feeling lazy.
The whole point of this is to get this content, get this information out for people, and make it very clickable. So what I'm going to do here is I'm going back over to Claude, and I'm having it write a blog article about these five best high-yield savings accounts.
You really want to use AI to your advantage here. I used to write all of these myself manually. It would take like half a day to write an article, and I can have this done in a minute here. And you can give it the parameters. You can say, I want you to include these five different banks and put them in this order.
These are the ones that I think are best, and it will do that for you. You can then copy that text, paste it over in here. All right, so Claude has made this article for us. It looks really good. We're going to go back in here. We're going to paste it in here. So let me remove this text and then paste it right there.
So we might have to reformat some of this and I'll do that later. But now I want to show you how to embed your affiliate links because this is where you're really going to make the money. All right. So whether this is a blog article or a free guide, once people land on this page and they
start looking at the best ones, you're going to want to embed your link here. And let's say for CIT Bank, which I've actually worked with quite a bit in the past, and I I think they paid $100 per new customer that would end up signing up for a bank account, right?
So I'll show you how to join their affiliate program, but let's just, for the example here, because later I'm going to show you how to find products, how to join those affiliate programs. Well, let's just say that this here is your affiliate link, okay?
And you're going to go and you're going to simply embed it here by highlighting it and then clicking on link, and then you're going to link to a web address, and you're going to paste your affiliate link right in there. and it's gonna open up a new tab there, right?
So we're gonna click on Save, and now, and we're gonna wanna make this a different color as well so people know it's a clickable link. Let's make it perhaps like a blue. All right, so that might not be the best formatting ever, but just for the purpose of this tutorial,
because I'm trying to make it nice and brief for you, is we now have our affiliate link embedded right here, so anytime someone's reading this article and they click on this, it'll take them to your affiliate link, and then when they sign up for it,
you're going to get paid. You can even link images or logos, which I find to be even more effective. You can put a picture of like CIT Bank logo right here and then you can link
that that then goes to your affiliate link. So this is the best way to convert people and I've been doing this for a very long time. So that's what I would do. Build out these articles. You're going to funnel them in through your content
engine onto your site and that's how you're going to make your money with affiliate marketing. So a couple other things here that I want to show you if you want to to do some SEO, you can click on the left hand side here. And Hostinger, this is why I really love this company,
they will help you out so much with ranking your website on Google, showing you how it shows up in search results, and all these other things, and they'll walk you through, tell you exactly what you need to do. So we need to change our title a little bit to have a focus keyword, we should make our description,
we should make sure that the meta description is at least 156 characters, so all these things, they help us out with, and it's really great. So that's the basics on how to set up your hosting or site. Like I said, I'll leave a link to it down below here in the description.
I really would recommend getting one of these set up because this is going to be a potential moneymaker for your affiliate marketing business, and it only costs a few dollars a month. we were checking out, or you can pick a new one here, click on next, and then just register that. And now our domain is going to be connected. Took us 30 seconds, so let's let that get set up. It might take up to 24 hours for this to actually show up. So if you go to your domain immediately
after doing this, it might not show up as a website yet, but it will within 24 hours. And the last thing I want to show you, if you ever get lost, if you ever get confused and you want to start over, go to the upper left corner, click on the website builder,
and you want to go to the Hostinger dashboard. You can also get to this by going to hpanel.hostinger.com. This is going to be where you manage a lot of different things. So if you want to add a new website, if you want to edit your website, you want to delete
it, change the domain, duplicate it, all those other things. you can do inside of this when you go to hpanel.hostinger.com. And this is also where you can do the email marketing and some other things that you can build out, like OpenClaw and some virtual private servers.
We've talked about that in other videos, but it's really great. So go ahead and check them out. I'll leave a link to Hostinger down below in the description. And let's move on to the next section, which is going to be how to find products that you can link to start making money with.
So how do we join affiliate programs? How do we find products to start promoting? And the truth is that actually a lot of companies already have affiliate programs, and they're not too difficult to get into. And so what I would recommend that you do here is just look up some of the companies that you already maybe are thinking about working with,
that you would like to work with, and just follow that up on a Google search with affiliate program afterwards. So let's say CRT Bank Affiliate Program. I'm just Googling that, and here we go. So we have some different options for their affiliate program.
It looks like it's going to be on flex offers here, and they're going to offer, sometimes they'll tell you their price that they will offer here. They'll tell you the average earnings. This is EPC, stands for earnings per click. So on average, every time someone clicks, you're getting about $2, maybe $1 per click.
Now, they're usually paying you on a flat fee CPA or like a percentage of revenue. Banks will usually pay you a flat fee. I know that I was making $100 for every new customer that I was sending them. People have different rates. You can also negotiate those rates, which is something that a lot of people don't know.
So you can either Google search different companies and see if they have an affiliate program. And if they don't, you can always reach out to them and ask them to make one. I've done this for a number of different companies. I've said, hey, I want to promote you.
Can you make an affiliate program? And a lot of them will actually just go and do it. It's not that hard for the companies to set that up. So that's always an option as well. DM them, email them, tell them that you want to promote them. You'll find a lot of companies will be open to doing that.
Now, there's two other platforms that I want to show you. Impact.com. We have a lot of affiliates on Impact.com. There's thousands of companies that use this platform to basically use as their paying agent and to track clicks and conversions and everything else.
So let me show you inside of here. I'll sign in. Now, it's free to make an account on Impact. This is the dashboard here, and I can just create all these links for these different affiliate programs that I'm in. So here's all the affiliate programs that I'm in, like Coinbase, Ladder Insurance, Lemonade,
Trade Station, Willow Wealth. And if you want to find new companies, you can just go up to Discover, and you can click on Find Brands. And there's some really cool companies in here. So there are thousands of companies, and you'll probably recognize a lot of them as well,
like Camping World. We have Target. We have New Balance. We have CVS. So there's lots of companies. You can scroll through this once you make an account and just start applying to different companies. Let's say I might want to join the Target affiliate program.
We can read about the details, how much they pay. So for every sale, there's a seven-day referral window, which means that if someone clicks on your link and they buy something six days later, you will still get a commission for sending them to Target.
Now, if they buy something eight days later, you probably won't get that commission. This is what we also call a cookie window. and cookies, it depends on the company. For Amazon Associates, which is the Amazon affiliate program,
that usually lasts only 24 hours. The window for Target is seven days and a lot of other ones are 30-day cookie window. So if someone clicks on your link, they don't buy anything until 28 days later,
you might still get the credit for sending them there and get the commission for that product. And so it looks like I'm not eligible to apply to Target affiliate program. We can click there and learn more about it. But let's say that we want to join the Microsoft Xbox gaming path.
Maybe we're a gamer. We make gaming content and we want to join that. We can tell them about our brand and then we can click on join. And then we just have to wait to hear back from those companies. You can also follow up with a separate email to get accepted into the program.
Once you get approved, then you will have these links available right here. And you can just click on the link and it will spit it out for you. And here is my specific Coinbase link that I can then take this and go back to my Hostinger website, and I can plug it in there,
or I can put this into other things, even directly promote it on YouTube or other things, and end up getting paid for every product that's being sold. So Impact is a really good one. It's free. I would highly recommend you going and checking it out and just browsing through the brands.
You're probably going to recognize some that will fit with your marketing strategy. The other one that we like, which is actually a little bit more like tech-oriented, so it's more of if you're making software-related content, is PartnerStack.
And PartnerStack is really great for those kind of high-value products like email software, Circle will pay 10% revenue share. And so PartnerStack, very similar to Impact, but for example, Deal, you can earn $1,500 for every new paying customer who signs up for Deal.
Now, this is like corporate customers, so you're generally not going to get a whole lot. But think about this. You make one piece of content talking about deals, and maybe you get five people to sign up. That's five people times $1,500. It doesn't even matter.
If you only get 10,000 views, you could end up making a ton of money from that. So it's not just all about how many clicks you can get. It's also about the value of the click that you are getting. So here's just some different brands on PartnerStack, and you can just easily apply to those brands.
So I hope this section was valuable to you. I also made a longer video showing you the best affiliate programs to join. If you're still kind of on the fence thinking about what niche or what programs you want to join, I will once again link to that video down below as well.
So as we wrap up this video, there's one more section here that I think is going to save you a lot of time and a lot of money. And that's just some extra pointers here that I have for you, okay, and some common missteps that people might make. And so what I want to share with you here is that it's really crucial for you to focus on the specific numbers and the metrics of all of the things that you are promoting and the content that you're making.
So what I look at is earnings per click. How much money am I making every time someone clicks on a link and I send them off and they buy something? And so Amazon affiliate program, for example, you know, that tends to be only a few cents per click because the products that people are buying on Amazon are generally lower.
They might spend $20 on a book. You might get 4% commission on that. And you're only making about 80 cents from that purchase. So I want you to really go crazy with the numbers and focus on conversion rates.
Start studying where are people dropping off when they click. And then the conversion rate is a lot lower on this piece of content versus this piece of content. Why is that? So really getting into the weeds and understanding all of the numbers is going to help you a lot in building this as a lasting business.
Now, the other really important thing that I want to share with you here is that be careful with any type of what we call black hat operations in affiliate marketing. So you need to adhere to the affiliate program terms.
You should read these because different companies are going to have different parameters and terms of what you can and cannot do. For example, if you are making content for like Wix website builders, they might not allow you to run ads for that content, whereas other ones are happy to let you do that.
There's also things about what you can and cannot say about a company. So read the specific terms of each one because you don't want to get kicked out of a program. I've seen people who are making tons of money from an affiliate, and they get a little bit too greedy, they push the limits a little bit too much, and they break some terms of service, and they get canceled from that company, they lose the contract, and they no longer can promote them.
So follow the rules, make sure that you're making genuine content, and I wouldn't recommend things that you don't personally like, because that will come back to bite you later on, and you'll lose a lot of trust. If you're promoting a product and it's just absolute garbage and you don't even like it, but you're just promoting it to make the money, you're not going to last very long in affiliate marketing because people won't like you.
They're not going to trust you. And it's also just kind of grimy to do that. So use the products yourself and then promote them. So that's what I wanted to share with you on affiliate marketing. I just ask that you stick with this for at least six months. Put out content every day. And even if you only start making a few hundred dollars per month, I promise you that if you stick with it, it has the potential to scale and it snowballs.
And you can go from $600 a month to $6,000 a month to $60,000. Now, a lot of people aren't going to do that, but it is possible because I did it myself and I'm sharing it with you here for free today.
