[0:04] came out and I've been playing it a lot
[0:07] like a lot now I don't know if you guys
[0:10] feel the same but this expansion just
[0:13] feels way more fun than Dragon flight
[0:15] the story The Dungeons the zones it all
[0:18] just feels so much better sure andwin
[0:20] still cries about everything but overall
[0:23] I feel like The Vibes of this expansion
[0:25] are just way better than drag of flight
[0:27] anyway as some of you might know I like
[0:29] Lev buing up new characters in wow a lot
[0:32] I actually found it way more fun than
[0:33] the actual dragonflight content so much
[0:35] so that I ended up leveling 100
[0:38] characters to level 70 now back in
[0:40] dragonflight I made a 1 to70 leveling
[0:43] guide that a lot of people found helpful
[0:45] so I figured it's time to make a new one
[0:48] to 80 leveling guide video for you guys
[0:50] now for this guide I actually wanted to
[0:52] level up the new Earth and race but um
[0:55] they will not be available until the 3rd
[0:57] of September I think so instead I de
[0:59] decided to level in dark iron dwarf
[1:01] Shaman from scratch to see how long it
[1:04] would take me to reach level 80 and with
[1:06] chromy time now working up to level 70
[1:08] you can actually reach max level in
[1:10] about 10 hours now if I did this with a
[1:13] class that I'm more familiar with B the
[1:15] 10% increased XP potion and hadn't
[1:18] gotten kicked from a dungeon at level 70
[1:20] because my item level was below 400 I
[1:23] could have easily reached level 80 in 8
[1:25] to 9 hours maybe even faster now just to
[1:28] make it clear this guide is mostly for
[1:31] those looking to level up alts since we
[1:33] are going to use chromy time all the way
[1:35] up to level 70 and unfortunately if you
[1:37] are a new player and haven't leveled a
[1:39] character to max level yet you won't be
[1:42] able to use chromy time instead you will
[1:44] be forced to level in dragonflight until
[1:46] you reach level 70 now I don't know if
[1:48] this still works but you used to be able
[1:50] to trick the game into thinking that you
[1:52] already had an max level character on
[1:54] your account by making a trial character
[1:57] then after that chromy time would become
[1:59] available for your new characters but
[2:01] again I'm not sure if this still works
[2:03] so don't get mad at me if it doesn't
[2:06] anyway with all of that out of the way
[2:09] let's just get started with the video
[2:11] shall
[2:14] we so before we get started with
[2:17] leveling there are a couple of things
[2:19] that you should know that might make it
[2:20] go faster and smoother so for those that
[2:23] have been gone for a while heirlooms no
[2:25] longer give you any XP boost however if
[2:27] you've upgraded them to scale up to
[2:29] level 7
[2:30] they do make it so that you don't have
[2:32] to deal with swapping gear all the time
[2:34] which is nice because it saves you time
[2:36] now this might actually be the only
[2:37] reason why you would want to get
[2:38] heirlooms if you are unsure where to buy
[2:40] or upgrade heirlooms there are vendors
[2:43] in orar for The Horde and in Iron Forge
[2:46] for the alliance I will include a link
[2:48] in the description with the exact
[2:49] location now there's also a potion
[2:51] called the draw of the 10 lens or draft
[2:54] of the 10 ls I have no idea how to
[2:56] pronounce
[2:57] it now this potion gives you a 10% XP
[3:00] boost but is only usable until Level 49
[3:03] now this potion can be bought for five
[3:05] medals in boralis if you're Alliance or
[3:08] does our lore if you are hoard you can
[3:10] simply earn those medals by doing BFA
[3:12] content oh and if you are unable to buy
[3:15] this potion don't worry about it I've
[3:17] leveled a lot of characters without it
[3:19] because well I usually forget to buy
[3:22] it but if you have the currency for it
[3:25] I'd say just go get it then there's also
[3:27] a new achievement in the game which kind
[3:29] of functions like the old heirlooms I
[3:32] guess this achievement basically gives
[3:34] your entire account an increased XP buff
[3:37] every time you level a character to 80
[3:39] your account gets a 5% XP buff this
[3:42] increases by 5% for every other
[3:44] character that you get to level 80 now
[3:46] the buff Cap's at 25% for now but
[3:49] honestly I really hope that they remove
[3:51] the cap and let people with a lot of max
[3:53] level characters just go crazy just a
[3:56] heads up this also means that some
[3:58] players with more level 8 characters
[4:00] will be able to level up their alts a
[4:02] bit faster than others lastly you want
[4:04] to check out which events are going on
[4:06] for example the darkmare this is up
[4:09] every first Sunday of the month and can
[4:11] give you a 10% XP buff then we also have
[4:13] the time walking events they will show
[4:16] up every 3 weeks I think and award a lot
[4:19] and I mean a lot of XP almost an entire
[4:22] level whenever you complete a time
[4:24] walking dungeon but just be aware that
[4:26] some time walking dungeons have level
[4:28] requirements the last event you want to
[4:30] keep an eye out for is the 20th
[4:32] anniversary event starting somewhere in
[4:34] October or November this event will
[4:36] probably award you with a 20% increased
[4:39] XP buff so yeah keep your eyes open for
[4:41] all events as well that's it for the
[4:43] preparations let's just get started with
[4:46] leveling
[4:48] up this part is only for those that are
[4:51] not going to level up an Allied race
[4:53] since those characters already start at
[4:55] level 10 now when you create a new
[4:57] character you can choose between
[4:58] leveling in your race is starting zone
[5:00] or exile's reach I highly recommend
[5:03] starting in exile's reach exile's reach
[5:05] is basically an updated beginner Zone
[5:07] and you can go through it really fast
[5:09] it's a small Zone where you do some
[5:11] simple quests pick up a couple of
[5:13] treasures along the way and the best
[5:15] part of it all is that exile's reach can
[5:17] be completed in under an hour if you are
[5:19] taking it easy personally I usually
[5:21] finish it in about 30 minutes and it
[5:24] could be even faster depending on your
[5:25] class now when you are done with exile's
[5:27] reach you will be either level 10 or
[5:32] 11 for the 10 to 20 part I usually go
[5:35] with one of two methods the first one is
[5:37] dungeon spamming with chromy time now I
[5:39] always choose the cataclysm timeline
[5:41] because it lets us Quee for classic
[5:43] dungeons these dungeons are very easy
[5:46] have quests that award nice XP and at
[5:49] lower levels you will be killing dungeon
[5:50] mobs and bosses really fast however if
[5:53] you are as unlucky as me you might end
[5:56] up sitting in queue for 10 minutes or
[5:58] end up in a dungeon group where people
[6:00] don't even know how to press a button
[6:02] and the dungeon will basically just take
[6:04] years to complete this happened to me
[6:06] when leveling this shamon and I'm not
[6:08] going to lie it can become very annoying
[6:12] so when I don't want to sit in queue or
[6:14] deal with people that have a lower IQ
[6:16] than their average room temperature I
[6:18] use method two questing in the legion
[6:21] timeline first I head over to chromy and
[6:23] select the legion timeline then I Quest
[6:25] around in auna and complete couple of
[6:28] bonus objectives till level 20 now for
[6:30] those that didn't notice yet um blizzard
[6:33] made Dragon riding available right away
[6:35] at level 10 which means that you can fly
[6:37] from one quest to another very fast also
[6:40] if you spot a legion Invasion on your
[6:42] map be sure to do all the world quests
[6:44] in that Invasion area they give a lot of
[6:47] XP and will get you to level 20 in no
[6:49] time that's pretty much how I level up
[6:51] from Level 10 to
[6:53] 20 the first thing that I do whenever
[6:56] I'm going from level 20 to 50ish um
[7:00] it kind of depends on how many XP
[7:02] increase Buffs you have is enabling War
[7:05] mode now doing this will give you an
[7:07] extra 10% XP buff after enabling War
[7:10] mode we are going to use chromy time to
[7:12] level up in the old classic zones so I
[7:15] go to chromy and select the cataclysm
[7:17] timeline now the main reason I use the
[7:19] cataclysm timeline is because these
[7:21] older zones have a lot of simple quests
[7:24] that are clustered together and they can
[7:26] be done very fast especially since we
[7:29] have access to Dragon riding right away
[7:31] so what I do on an alliance character is
[7:33] very simple I will go and do all quests
[7:36] in duskwood red Ridge Mountain and L
[7:39] modan when leveling an horde character I
[7:41] would recommend doing all the quests in
[7:43] silverpine Forest Hills bread foot hills
[7:46] and either aati Highlands or the
[7:48] Hinterlands so yeah that's basically how
[7:50] I reach level 50 to 54 in around 2 hours
[7:53] and 30 minutes it's very simple because
[7:56] all you got to do is just do a couple of
[7:58] quests now some times it can go even
[8:00] faster but um it kind of depends on how
[8:02] familiar I am with my class now like I
[8:04] said before the level you end up with at
[8:07] the end of questing through all of those
[8:08] zones depends on how many XP increase
[8:11] Buffs you have that said even if you
[8:14] only have the war mode buff you'd still
[8:16] probably end up somewhere around level
[8:20] 50 so after completing all the quests in
[8:23] the Tre zones that I mentioned before we
[8:25] want to go back to chromy and select the
[8:27] DOR timeline now the reason that we want
[8:29] to start questing in dror now is because
[8:32] dror has a lot of bonus objectives
[8:34] quests and treasures that award a good
[8:36] amount of XP no matter which faction you
[8:38] are playing on you really want to do the
[8:41] intro Quests for drer because they can
[8:43] be completed really fast and will give
[8:45] you somewhere between two to four levels
[8:47] once the intro Quest is finished I
[8:49] usually keep questing until I've set up
[8:51] my Garrison and after that I just fly to
[8:54] gorr now if you want to earn some fast
[8:56] XP while making your way to gorr you
[8:59] should complete any bonus objective that
[9:00] you fly over they award an insane amount
[9:03] of XP now when I reach gorr I basically
[9:05] start doing some Main and side quests
[9:08] pick up some treasures and do more bonus
[9:10] objectives and that's basically it it's
[9:13] really simple and it only took me around
[9:16] 1 hour to reach level 70 which is kind
[9:18] of insane to be honest in total it took
[9:21] me around 5 hours of play time to reach
[9:24] level 70 now it could have been a lot
[9:26] faster but anyway what am I complaining
[9:28] about right like 5 hours isn't that
[9:32] bad so now it's time for the last part
[9:35] which is also the part that takes the
[9:37] longest leveling from 70 to 80 isn't as
[9:39] bad as 60 to 70 leveling was back in
[9:42] dragonflight in my opinion because it
[9:44] goes a lot faster however after the hot
[9:46] fix that blizzard made to make leveling
[9:48] from 70 to 75 I think harder with lower
[9:52] item level you need to make sure that
[9:54] you buy yourself some 400 plus item
[9:56] level gear the moment that you reach
[9:58] level 70 if you don't you will probably
[10:01] keep getting one shot in dungeons do
[10:03] zero damage in them and eventually be
[10:06] kicked like I
[10:08] was oh man anyway right now I've leveled
[10:12] quite a few characters to 80 and to be
[10:14] honest what I found to be the fastest
[10:16] way to level to level 80 was simply
[10:18] doing the main quests with war mode on
[10:20] while queuing for dungeons also while
[10:22] flying from quest to Quest I always keep
[10:25] an eye out for bonus objectives and
[10:27] World quests because they they can award
[10:29] a good amount of XP as well oh by the
[10:31] way for those that are not seeing any
[10:33] world quests on their map um to be able
[10:35] to see any world quests on your map
[10:37] while leveling from 70 to 80 you need to
[10:40] have completed the main campaign and
[10:42] reach max level with at least one
[10:43] character now besides leveling this way
[10:46] there are two other things that you
[10:47] could try besides buying a boost of
[10:50] course if you have a couple of friends
[10:52] you could just spend dungeons over and
[10:54] over as a fiveman premate this is by far
[10:57] the fastest way to level up for I think
[11:00] if everyone knows what to do right then
[11:02] there's also time walking dungeons now
[11:05] the first time walking event in this
[11:07] expansion will start in 3 weeks so it's
[11:09] not clear yet if you will be able to
[11:11] rush through these dungeons just like in
[11:13] dragonflight but if nothing has changed
[11:16] I feel like spamming time walking
[11:17] dungeons will be the fastest way to
[11:19] level up to 80 but yeah that's how I
[11:21] basically level up my characters from 1
[11:24] to 80 now this Shaman has around 10
[11:26] hours of play time but it has so much go
[11:29] wrong like so much an AFK dungeon group
[11:33] laggy servers forgot the XP potion and
[11:36] when I reached level 70 I had zero gear
[11:39] which made leveling to 71 take way too
[11:42] long especially since I'm not used to
[11:44] playing an Enhancement Shaman so I'm
[11:46] sure that it is possible to reach level
[11:48] 80 in 8 to 9 hours while taking it easy
[11:51] probably even faster now before I'm
[11:53] going to end this video I just want to
[11:55] mention a couple of other ways that you
[11:57] could level up to 80 because otherwise
[11:59] I'm sure I will have some people yelling
[12:01] in the comment section
[12:05] below so another way to level up is by
[12:07] only questing in dreno since dror is
[12:10] great for questing you could also just
[12:12] select the dreno timeline whenever you
[12:13] can and basically start questing there
[12:16] until you reach level 70 so if you don't
[12:18] want to Quest in some of the old zones
[12:20] and just want to stay in one place then
[12:22] this is something that you could go for
[12:24] now another way that you could level up
[12:26] is by only spamming dungeons now I used
[12:28] to do this a lot just spamming dungeons
[12:30] while questing if you don't care about
[12:32] how fast you level up or if you want
[12:34] some variation you can just start
[12:36] queuing for dungeons over and over all
[12:38] the way up to level 80 now I sto doing
[12:41] this because sometimes you end up with a
[12:43] group that consists of four randoms and
[12:45] they have a combined IQ of four which
[12:48] makes going through these dungeons a
[12:49] nightmare now in the end it's all about
[12:52] what you enjoy the most leveling fast is
[12:54] fun and all but if you don't enjoy
[12:57] rushing quests or the zones that I
[12:59] recommend for you to level in just go to
[13:01] another Zone queue up for dungeons do
[13:03] whatever the hell you want because
[13:06] eventually you will still hit Level 80
[13:08] the most important thing is still that
[13:10] you do what you want to do and enjoy it
[13:12] it's just as simple as
