## Summary

This video analyzes a social media post by Cozy Coloring Lena that teaches viewers how to spot AI-colored or AI-enhanced coloring pages. The creator highlights the absurdity of using AI for a hobby whose entire purpose is personal, hands-on enjoyment.

### Key Points

- **The Problem: AI in Coloring Books** [00:02] — A post by Cozy Coloring Lena addresses the rise of AI-colored and AI-enhanced coloring pages, prompting a guide on how to recognize them.
- **Visual Clues of AI Coloring** [00:17] — AI-generated images often feature super-detailed textures (fur, leaves, flowers) that contrast sharply with the simple art style of traditional coloring books.
- **The Glow Effect** [00:30] — AI-colored characters often have a soft white or multi-colored glow around them, even with black outlines, which is a distinct difference from normal coloring where outlines can look muddy when colored over.
- **The Absurdity of AI Coloring** [00:55] — Using AI to color a coloring book defeats its entire purpose, which is personal enjoyment and relaxation. It's a pointless exercise.
- **Artificial Strokes and Changes** [01:23] — AI-generated images can show artificial strokes that aren't real brush strokes from acrylic markers or watercolors. Also, the coloring book page itself can change, like a cat's head turning or a face's structure being altered.
- **A Lost Plot** [01:50] — The creator concludes that the use of AI in coloring books is a sad sign that we've 'truly lost the plot' as a society.

### Conclusion

The video criticizes the trend of using AI to color or enhance coloring books, arguing that it defeats the purpose of the activity. It provides visual cues to spot AI-generated coloring, such as excessive detail, glowing outlines, and artificial strokes.

## Transcript

this is a post posted by Cozy Coloring Lena. And Lena adds how to spot AI colored and AI enhanced coloring pages. And Lena is sharing like how they just want for coloring, but there have been, you know, an uproar or a rise in like AI
Adding, you know, if you're curious about how to recognize it, please swipe information. And Lena shows some side-by-sides. Here we have like the AI super detailed textures, you know, fur, leaves, fat burger flowers, so many look
art is simple. And then adding, you know, characters have a soft white or multi-colored glow around them even with the black outlines. Which again, like book pages, if the outlines are black, you know, you're going to sometimes
color over the outline. It might look a little like muddy here or there. So, distinction is so clear is very interesting. But anyways, like beyond this, what is honestly just absurd to me is the fact that people are using AI to
color coloring books. Because why? Like you literally just defeat the purpose of a coloring book. Cuz the whole point of a coloring book is for you to color it, you know, for personal enjoyment. So that you can relax a little bit. All of
that good stuff. But if you use AI to color the coloring book or in some case, I guess you color it and then you enhance it with AI. In my opinion, purpose of doing it in the first place? Don't go generating images, but you just
you know, some things mentioned in previous slides, it could just be like a like to add the stars and stuff. But you know, artificial strokes. You can see on artificial strokes that are not actual brush strokes from like acrylic markers
or watercolors or anything, but just like the AI detailing. Or literally somehow the coloring book page changes. Like the cat is looking to the left in the original and now the cat is looking forward. Here like her face completely
cheeks are different, her whole facial structure is different and her head is sad to see and it really makes you feel like we've truly lost the plot here.
