[00:02] Badging Olympics. The world's largest stage. A 23-year-old boy is about to start a race in the swimming pool. The whole world is looking at him. [00:14] whole world is looking at him. Millions of people are watching on TV. The boy stands on the starting block. Time kills. The race begins and suddenly kills. The race begins and suddenly disaster strikes. I can see you. [00:30] At the time when the boy was coming second in the race, water started filling in his goggles. water started filling in his goggles. is a disaster for any swimmer. [01:07] he completes the race and the result is not just a gold medal but a world record. That day the world saw how a person can make the impossible possible [01:20] and this was not magic, it was not luck, behind this was the secret technique which he used to practice every day and the result was that he [01:39] deal and he has won two bronze, three silver and 23 gold medals. He also used the same technique, the same power which made Bruce Lee the greatest martial artist. Arnold was transformed from a Greek Austrian into Mr. Olympia, Mr. [01:55] Universe, and a movie star. I think visualizing is always the Jim Carrey was transformed from a struggling comedian into a Hollywood superstar. This you know visualization is the same power that helped Virat Kohli make a [02:08] The thing that helped me that time and again it happened naturally was visualization. ground. And in this video you are going to master that very power. The power that can change your [02:24] career, your relationships, your confidence. It can turn your every thought into reality. You can have anything you want The Power of Visualization. [02:42] story of a boy who hated swimming as a child. After that, I have been doing research in this field for the last 15 years. I am training people. I am transforming people's lives. training people. I am transforming people's lives. [02:55] steps through which you can use the power of visualization. I myself visualized my dreams and turned them into reality. So I will tell you step by step how you can turn all your dreams into reality. I will also tell you the mistakes that you should not [03:09] make and in the end, a very special thing with which you can change your entire coming year in one day. which you can change your entire coming year in one day. [03:21] A little kid who could n't sit still for even a second. Teachers used to say that the child would never be able to focus. And the doctors said he had ADHD. Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. When he was 9 years old, his [03:35] parents got divorced. In school, teachers used to call him a problem child. And his friends and classmates used to make fun of him because of his big ears. He was called Dumbo. Meaning a child who had no confidence, no focus, no [03:51] direction. But his mother thought differently. He thought of getting Michael into swimming so that his energy could be channelized and this is where the journey of a legend began. At the age of 11, Michael got a coach, [04:04] Bob Bowman. Bob saw that Michael had potential but a big problem was distraction. He ca n't focus in practice and won't be able to handle the pressure of the race. So Bob decided that this boy would have to be [04:19] made unbreakable not only physically but also mentally. So one day Bob gives Michael's mother, Debbie, a book called Progressive Relaxation Techniques and tells her to get Michael to do two things every night before bed. [04:31] Michael's real training begins that night. read relaxation passages from that book. Relax your head, relax your shoulders, your [04:46] arms, your legs. Michael relaxes his entire body, head to toe, completely calm state. And then the second step. Play a movie of your race in your mind. And this was no normal imagination. [05:03] This was a very detailed real visualization. That kid Michael sees in his mind is standing on the starting block. I can feel the heat of the sun. The crowd is cheering. The referee blows his whistle. Water Chill feels the coldness of water. Every [05:19] stroke, every turn, every breath. The moment of touching , watching the timer and the gold medal. Then the national anthem, standing on the podium and feeling that feeling completely. Michael would play this mental videotape every [05:31] morning when he woke up and every night before he went to bed. But here Bob did a master stroke which other coaches did not do. Bob [05:43] taught Michael not to just visualize the perfect race. Visualize worst case scenarios as well. Michael, imagine what would happen if your goggles broke in the middle of a race. The if your goggles broke in the middle of a race. The [05:56] Uses stroke count. wins the race. What if your swimsuit tears ? Visualize. Michael visualizes. Looks for a solution. There is work. What if your gaggle gets filled with water? Visualizes cominess and race finishes. [06:11] Michael created a complete mental video library in his mind. Every race, every possibility, every solution. Meaning physically the race is happening once. Mentally it has happened 500 times. [06:23] This mental preparation of training his conscious and subconscious mind has benefited Michael in every game of his career. And especially when his glasses were full of water at the Badging Olympics in 2008. [06:39] even a microsecond would have been important in such a game. If he had panicked even for a few seconds, he would have reached the last. But his mind maintained his work. He was given that confidence without seeing when he was not able to see, his mind made him race on auto pilot mode, [06:56] he reached the wall and the result was world record. Now the question is, is this just Michael Philves' story? Or is there a larger universal principle? Can it really work for everyone? And if [07:10] work for everyone? And if yes, then how? We will know the answer to this from science. A study was conducted at Harvard in 1995. Many piano players were called and divided into three groups. The first group was told to practice five finger [07:23] piano exercises for 2 hours daily for 5 days. The second group was also told to do the five finger piano exercise. But only mentally. Meaning you have to keep your hands still. Just imagine that you are playing the piano. [07:38] Only the imagination hand will remain still for 5 days. And told the third group not to do any practice. Sit quietly. Now after five days the brain scan was done. Measurements were done. Changes in the motor cortex, the [07:54] measured. The extent to which the brain areas that control finger movement expanded was measured. And do you know what the result was? Both groups. The expansion of the motor cortex of the brain was almost the same in the group that did physical exercises and the group that did [08:07] exercises and the group that did only mental exercises. This only mental exercises. This also causes reorganization in the brain, just like physical practice does. This [08:21] means that the same neural pathways developed in the brains of both those who were physically playing the piano and those who were just mentally imagining. and those who were just mentally imagining. In many such experiments, it has been repeatedly concluded that your [08:34] it has been repeatedly concluded that your brain cannot differentiate between real experiences and well- imagined experiences. Let me give you an example, a live example right now. Suppose I take the name of your favorite food and make you imagine it clearly. [08:47] The example is rajma rice. There is a plate of rice. The kidney beans on top are hot. Smoke is coming out. Chopped onion is coming. Meaning, when Rajma Chawal is in front of you, your mouth starts watering. But if it is not in front, we are thinking about it. Even then the [09:00] mouth starts watering. Because the brain does not know the difference between real and imagination. We are watching a movie. The characters of the movie are fake, the story is fake but we are crying. Our brain can generate real emotions even from a fake movie [09:16] which make us cry. Now to understand the science behind visualization better, you should know three hidden powers of your brain. When you visualize, three powerful things happen in your brain. The first powerful thing that happens [09:31] in your brain is that neural pathways are formed. Now let me explain neural pathways in simple language. Imagine you are going into a forest where there is no path and you are creating a new path. The first time will be very difficult. There will [09:43] be pushis somewhere, there will be thongs, where will there be leaves, grass, what all will there be? There will be a bumpy road but you keep going. You go over it again for the second time. If you what will happen gradually? If you continue walking on the same path, a clear path will [09:56] start to form. Gradually walking will become a little easier. And if you walk it again and again, it will become smooth. The same thing happens in your brain when you visualize something. You are visualizing it again and again. Achieve a goal , master a skill. [10:11] , master a skill. means that the more often you visualize, the stronger the neural pathways become. moment comes, what does your brain say ? Hey, I've done this before. It's easy. [10:27] Meaning, by imagining it again and again, you have made your brain so comfortable with it He is able to maintain and execute his work. Michael Fels even swam the 200m butterfly race 500 times in his mind. So when the [10:41] actual race came, his brain was wired for that experience. And Virat Kohli had said the same thing in his interview. I'm gonna take their best baller on. And when I train in the gym, when I am practicing regularly, there are visuals [10:55] running in my head of me dominating that baller. The second powerful thing that happens in your brain is that your RS reticular activation system gets activated. I have I have also shared my story. It may sound a bit technical, so I will explain it with a very basic [11:09] example. Let's say you're thinking about getting a new Orange iPhone. And then what happens? Suddenly you see the same orange iPhone everywhere. Hey, he also had it. Hey, he also took it. You are watching an interview of some celebrity on TV. [11:22] So in that too you notice his orange iPhone. There why are you paying more attention to that orange iPhone? Because there is a part of your brain called Because there is a part of your brain called reticular activating system (RAS) which has become [11:36] activated. It acts as a filter. It decides what is important to you and what is not. What should you focus on and what should you not focus on? When business idea, a goal, a dream, you program your RS. [11:51] You tell it that this is what I want and then automatically your brain starts looking for opportunities, ideas, resources, focus, discipline and actions in that direction. Jim Carrey gave himself a check for $10 million. I used to see it every day [12:05] , visualize it and activated my RS. And now suddenly he saw those roles , saw those auditions, saw those opportunities which he was missing earlier. That level of discipline, that level of motivation, that level of ideas started coming into his mind. The [12:21] third power is your muscle memory develops. Which is very crazy. Many studies have been done. Let me What did the scientist do? Gathered basketball players. Again divided into three groups. The first group has to go to the court and actually practice free throws. The [12:34] second group has to just use mental imagination to imagine that they are throwing the ball. And told the third one not to do anything. Now what was the result? Group A, which actually practiced, saw a 24% improvement. Group C which did [12:51] not practice had 0% improvement and Group B which did mental practice had 23% improvement, meaning almost the same improvement as the physical one. Why? Because [13:03] when you imagine vividly in detail, you are making a movement. So there are micro contractions in your muscles. Your brain sends signals to the muscles just like it does during actual movement. That's why mental rehearsal also [13:18] develops your muscle memory. Neeraj Chopra closes his eyes and visualizes before throwing the javelin. His arm movement, his release point, the trajectory of the javelin, his muscles are already prepared. And [13:31] even in my podcast, I keep hearing from many accomplished people about the power of visualization. When we met him recently, he also told me that I daily visualize my entire coming day. The morning it's in my car and I am singing, I just close my eyes and I just go like okay, what all do I have to do today, I [13:46] live that situation in advance, how am I day four, what is the best possible I live everything in my visualization first thing in the morning, but what is the problem, the [13:59] problem is that 99% of the people do visualization in the wrong way and that is why they do not get results. Now, on the basis of my 15 years of research and practical results, I am telling you [14:16] How you can apply this to your career, your health, your relationships and turn every thought and every dream into reality. Now the real thing is how to do the visualization. I first talked about it on YouTube in 2012. That means [14:32] I have been talking to you on this topic for the last 13 years. So over the years I have explained this method in more detail. I have talked to people and read books. I have practiced on myself. Who got the result from? Which one gave you 100X results? Based on all that, I am [14:45] giving you a framework. Step by step simple to execute and actionable. The effort should be to spend every day in the same place which is the most comfortable and [14:58] quiet space for us. It is not that the noise is increasing there. Sometimes you hear someone's voice or your phone is making noise. The phone should be on silent. Notifications should be off. The net should be off. I have created a dedicated space for myself [15:11] visualize, I express gratitude. I know I have to go and sit in that space every day. So remember, it should be a quiet place, sit in a comfortable position, the lights should be dimmed or off and the phone should be on silent. Michael Felds would do this every day by turning off the lights in his room and lying on the bed. [15:26] Arnold would sit alone in the locker room for 10 minutes before the gym. Bruce Lee used to visualize while meditating. Now the question arises here that when to do it? And I say, look, it is better to do it anytime than not to do it at all. [15:39] But if you ask me about the best time, I have read the same thing in most of the books and Michael Fabes ' coach Pop Bowman also says that there are two best times. Immediately after waking up in the morning, when your mind is fresh, the subconscious gets activated quickly. And before going to sleep at night, [15:53] when you are relaxed, the visualization gets embedded directly into your subconscious. And Michael Feld used to do it both times, after waking up in the morning and both times, after waking up in the morning and before sleeping at night, every day. [16:10] this. If your body is tense, stressed, you were thinking about something, overthinking and you sit down to visualize, will you be able to feel it deeply? Will you be able to create that level of neuron connections inside your brain? Will you be able to create those pathways? [16:23] Remember the book Michael gave Mark, Progressive Relaxation Techniques, from his coach, Bob Vo? So how can you bring yourself into a relaxed state? Close your eyes before visualizing. Take a deep breath. This is a very good way. [16:37] Four seconds inhale, four seconds hold, four seconds exhale. This will get you the job done once. Now relax each of your body parts. This is also called body scan. My forehead is relaxed. My barley is relaxed. The shoulders are relaxed. [16:54] Arms relaxed. While relaxing the chest, relax till the feet. So with this breathing and body scan, you reach a completely relaxed state in 2 to 3 minutes. [17:07] And Bob says that once you get into a relaxed state, your conscious mind starts to go to the side and the subconscious mind takes over. And at this time your visualization becomes 10 times more powerful. [17:21] I am tense, I never visualize. First I work on my breathing. I relax my muscles and then start my mental movie. [17:37] also make this mistake. Velocity Visualization. Velocity visualization means I don't want to be successful. I want to be fit. I want to become rich. I want good relations. No, you have to be crystal clear. You have to be specific. [17:53] Michael Phelps didn't just think, "I want to win the race." He even defined the exact time. win the race." He even defined the exact time. [18:05] seconds and the second 50. Exact Specific Measurable. What did Jim Carrey do? Gave a cheque of Rs 10 million. And entered the exact date also. Thanksgiving 1985. And he also wrote for whom the cheque was for. For acting services. [18:20] What was Arnold's visualization? I want to be successful. I want to be rich. No. I am Mr. Olympia. I have the trophy in my hand. I'm on the cover of Muscle & Fitness magazine. I am the hero of the movie Harikuls. I hope the message has reached that I will [18:35] crack the interviews. No. Your visualization should be very clear that I am inside after smiling at the security guard. I am telling my name at the reception. I am sitting in the waiting area in a work state. I went to the interviewer confident. [18:48] Shake hands with a firm grip. I am listening to the questions, answering them confidently and at the end I say thank you and leave with positive energy and I have that leave with positive energy and I have that job offer letter. Visualize every detail, [19:01] every moment, every feeling. Feel it. Feel the actions and reactions of your loved ones. Someone in my workshop wrote that [19:13] I would make a six pack. And we put it into proper visualization that you are going to the gym , holding the equipment. I can feel the cold steel. Feel the tension in your muscles while lifting weights. Feel that sweat on your forehead. Look in the mirror, your [19:27] posture is correct. You are completing the last step. The chest is coming out. Feel your breath and how your six packs look as you walk out of the gym. So remember, the more vivid, the more specific, the more detailed it is, the more powerful it is; the more feelings are [19:41] involved, emotions are involved , motor memory is involved, neural connections are involved and your RAS is activated. It [19:54] in step three. But still the point is that all five senses have to be used. Not just the eyes. Only then [20:07] power, brain power. So what are the five senses? Visually, look at it completely, see its colours, see the light, see that scene carefully. Auditory listening. Suppose you have a successful speech, then the sound of the crowd, if it is an achievement of yours, then [20:22] sound of the crowd, if it is an achievement of yours, then those proud words of your mother, right, son, may God give you more progress, listening to the music of the celebration, listening to your breathing, kinesthetic means feeling, physical sensations, body movements, touch, [20:38] temperature and pharyngological means smelling, the smell of that environment or whatever fragrances there are associated with that moment. For example, the car has a new car smell. [20:53] a new car smell. It is very difficult to feel, smell and experience such things. thank God. Feeling that Venus. What confidence would it be to feel that confidence. [21:08] And as I said in the previous point, feel the reactions of your own people like parents, friends, partner. This means that you should [21:20] not just imagine the achievement but feel the achievement. Phills did not give up visualization after two days or four days. Arnold [21:34] says that I used to visualize every day that my bicep has become 22 inches. I visualized it a thousand times and then it happened. So just once I visualize it, my brain gets reprogrammed. It will not happen that everything changes. [21:48] This has to be practiced every day. Have to do it regularly. And after a few days in your life you realize how powerful it is. Then you don't do it as Himmish says. Then you do it yourself because of your results, your differences, your changes, the changes happening in your life. [22:03] But yes, try doing it for a few days as Himesh says , then you will do it yourself. Before I go any further, I would like to take a minute of your time and share with you a very important project in my life. And I [22:16] want to tell you something that will change your coming year 2026 and your entire life. We know everything. We know what to do and how to do it. Still, overthinking, [22:28] procrastination, self-doubt, low confidence, all these things come and time keeps slipping away. The come and time keeps slipping away. The reason is very simple. The conscious mind wants something, but the subconscious mind is running some other program. And when this [22:42] alignment is not correct, the struggle continues. And to solve this very thing, I have brought for you Mind Mastery Workshop. A full day live session through which I have changed the lives of millions of people for the last 15 years. Top companies of India [22:57] call me for this session. Why? Because this system works. In this workshop, you will go through three stages in one day. First stage identity shift. You will understand how your personality is formed. What are the hidden beliefs that are holding you back? [23:12] What is blocking it? We will do some life changing exercises in that session which will help you in establishing a stronger and confident version of yourself. Second clarity breakthrough, you will be able to remove your confusions. You [23:28] will understand exactly what you want? Why is it needed and what are the clear steps to reach the next level? And thirdly, rewiring of the mind. We will scientifically fix overthinking and procrastination. [23:44] brain rewiring, you will be able to turn your dreams into reality by using the power of your subconscious mind. This is a practical transformation system. Where you will create a permanent shift within yourself by using real exercises, tools and processes. [23:59] processes. feel a huge difference in your clarity, energy and mindset. And if after attending the workshop you feel that Himesh did not deliver what he said, you can take your money back. So if you [24:13] seriously want to change your life then give me one day of yours. Change your entire coming year in that one day. I am conducting this workshop on 11th Jan. Seats are limited. If you are interested in joining that workshop, [24:26] you will find the link in the description below. Now, do not make the mistakes that people make in the process of visualization. So from that day one you can use it powerfully. It is very important to know how to understand those mistakes. First, negative self-talk. [24:44] Imagine you are driving a car. You have one foot on the accelerator. And one foot is on the brake. If you are pressing the accelerator and brake simultaneously. I am visualizing success. [24:56] Accelerator but not possible for me. The car will move with the brakes. This is a very dangerous mistake. Keep doubting yourself. All this will not be possible for me. n't have those resources. This is only the work of big people. This is just the [25:11] work of celebrities. I am an average person. On one hand you are programming your brain for achievement, for success, for happiness, for growth and on the other hand you are deprogramming your brain with doubt. Where will I get the results [25:25] ? Michael Fels says at the age of 12, I want to swim in the Olympics. And people say you are a child with DHD. Ca n't focus, will swim. Jim Carrey is the son of a janitor, meaning the son of the bathroom cleaner was not home. Used to [25:37] sleep in the van. People used to call him crazy, he had such a big dream. But Jim did not doubt himself. Believed in myself. Arnold came to America from Austria. He did not even speak English properly. People used to say that your name cannot be pronounced. Your accent is [25:50] so funny. You will become an actor. But Arnold did not doubt himself. I believed it. Now negative thoughts can come. But whenever a negative thought comes, replace it. If you feel that this is not possible for me then replace it with, if they did it then [26:06] I can also do it. If I feel that I am not capable then I can become better every day. I am becoming capable. If a negative thought comes to your mind that you do not have resources, then replace it. I will find the resources because wherever I go, I stay there. Let me [26:19] tell you this clearly that if you are visualizing but not believing then you are wasting your time. First believe and then visualize. And if you are not able to believe it then I understand. Take small steps first. Achieve small victories. [26:32] Achieve them so that you gain confidence. Confident in your abilities and do Confident in your abilities and do it often becomes a repeated process for you. It becomes a mechanical process. Sat down, got the [26:47] work done and started watching the scene. And by doing it every day, sometimes emotions start disappearing. Feelings start disappearing. Let me ask you a question, remember any boring lecture from school? Can you remember anything? He might not be coming. But if [27:01] I say remember your first crush, that feeling when you fell in love for the first time. You will remember it immediately. You will remember the face. You will miss the movements. You will remember the feelings. Why? Because emotions are attached here. In neuroscience, there is a [27:16] saying that neurons that fire together wire together. Neurons that wire together visualizing, neurons in your brain are firing but how strongly they will wire, that will happen when emotions are involved, the more [27:29] strongly they will connect, the stronger the neuro connections will become in your brain. Now another big mistake that people make is that Michael Felds not only did not see the race in his mind, he practiced in the swimming pool every day. Arnold did [27:41] not just visualize the muscles, he went to the gym and lifted weights. Jim Carrey did not just keep looking at the cheque, he auditioned every day, faced rejections and performed in comedy clubs. Virat Kohli did not just think about the century. I practiced net every day. [27:53] Worked on my diet. Worked on my fitness. Many people think that they have just visualized and seen everything. Now everything will change. Visualization prepares you mentally. Physically you have to work. Let me give you an example. Think of it [28:06] like a GPS. It shows you the direction. This shows the route. This eliminates your confusion. You do not get confused again and again. If there is any problem or it shows you another way. All this work is done through visualization. But [28:19] GPS will not take you to your destination. You have to hold the steering. You have to press the accelerator. You will have to drive. The meaning is clear, right? Visualization programs your brain. Shows you opportunities. Gives [28:31] you confidence. Gives you mental clarity. But you will have to take action. If you want to build a business, visualize it. But also find clients. If you want to lose weight, visualize it. But go to the gym and follow your diet as well. If you [28:43] want to clear the exam, visualize but also study. Remember visualization without action is daydreaming. Action without visualization is direction less hard work. I am working hard but there is no direction. [28:56] And visualization plus action equals unstoppable success. I hope this powerful concept, this technique is used by many people in their lives and they achieve results because of it. I hope I was able to simplify that technique for you. I could [29:11] tell you about its power. I can tell you its science. I was able to And if you want to experience a next level shift then give [29:24] with practical experience, with exercises, with tools. You can also feel this thing that if a video brings a shift in your life , then if you and I spend the whole day together, then what changes will come in the whole year and [29:38] in the future life. If you are interested in joining that workshop, See you again in the next video. Till then stay happy and keep sharing happiness. I stay happy and keep sharing happiness. I love you all.
