hundreds of thousands of dollars selling print on demand products since I started. I wanted to give it a try and see does this actually work from it. And to my surprise, it was something that actually became a full-time income
stream for me. And through the years of doing this, I've learned a lot about what works, what doesn't. And I know that a lot of the things online can be overwhelming. And so I want to share a video on a specific strategy to start a
overwhelmed, if you don't know what product to choose, this is a great store. And I'm going to show you the whole breakdown and blueprint of things that I suggest that you do. How to set up your store, how to create designs for
your products and list them for sale. And if you're not familiar with how it works, your job as a print on demand seller is to find trending designs or trending products, design them, and then partner with a manufacturer who will
actually print and produce and ship those products for you. I'm going to get process. And today, I want to be talking about a different type of print on demand store. And I wanted to talk about this because, as I said, people get
overwhelmed. it can be really difficult sometimes to pick a specific niche or target audience. And so I want to kind of pivot today and talk about one product stores. So one product stores are different than a niche store. You
may see all over YouTube and even on my channel where I talk a lot about niche specific stores. A niche is when you're selling to a specific audience. So your niche, for example, could be that you sell to people who like sports or sell
to people who like dogs. and you create lots of different products on your online store that are promoted towards people and designed towards people [music] that are liking and have that interest. But a one product store is
different because you're selling one product. So your whole store could be full of hats, sweatshirts, t-shirts, or mugs. And the designs that are shown on those products are listed to multiple different types of people. So first
you want to sell your products. really cool with print on demand is you of where you can sell your products. You can create your own online store from scratch using websites like Shopify or Wix, or you can sell on a pre-existing
marketplace like Etsy or Amazon. And I'm going to show you how to do it on it works better for one product stores trying to go on a marketplace because marketplaces are a little bit more
to understand who to put your products in front of. So, that's what I'm going going to build the whole store together. And if you don't have a Shopify store yet, that's totally okay. You can create one in just a few minutes. So, what
you'll do is go to Shopify and create a new account. Make sure you use an email receive orders, [music] you will get notified through that email. Shopify questions. You can fill these out to the best of your ability. It doesn't affect
you've done this, it's going to ask you for some personal details. You'll then have to pick your Shopify plan. And this is part of the reason why I'm because they currently have an incredible deal going on where you can
get your first 3 months at $1. I do have the special link in the description that will get you this deal. I think it's incredible because 3 months is a really nice amount of time for you to decide if this side hustle is for you, if you want
to stay on Shopify, if you like it, and it will give you an overall time before you actually have to make the full investment for using Shopify. Once you've done that, you'll be in your Shopify dashboard and you'll be able to
products, we need to pick a manufacturer. And picking a manufacturer business because we want to make sure the quality and shipping times are good
and accurate because it's going to reflect as us as we're the ones selling different options, but the one that I choose to use and have for years is about Printify. They're all over the internet. And they're very well globally
connected, meaning that there's print providers and print shops all over the world, meaning that your products can be fulfilled very quickly from many different places. And you can sell internationally. And they have an
integration, meaning if you set up a Printify account and a Shopify account, you can integrate them so your orders all go in seamlessly and things start running for you. So to create a Printify account, you can go to printify.com and
way. And then once you're set up on Printify, what's amazing is that it's completely free to use, [music] meaning that you can upload unlimited products to pay anything. The only time you're going to have to pay is when you start
getting an order and you only pay per order, meaning no orders, no money spent to my computer and I'm going to show you how to sync your store so we can start do on Printify is you're going to go to add a new store. You're going to see all
have available to add a store. Definitely can get you inspired and get you thinking. I'm going to go and select Shopify. here's where we're going to start uploading our store. I'm going to go to
create new store and click continue. And then hit connect with Shopify. We already did this first step, so we can go to step two to connect it. Hit connect with Printify. Because we're already logged in on Shopify and have it
open in a tab. You'll see on the top right that's the name of my store. I'm going to go over here and hit install. It's going to automatically redirect you to Shopify. Here's where you're going to click install again. You may have to
resign in, but that's just to show you that inside of Shopify now, we can start uploading our products. And this is a really quick and seamless process. I recommend going on here and exploring the catalog a bit cuz there's a lot of
And like I said, we're doing a one product store, meaning that I want to sell one product with lots of different designs on it. So now, because we have Printify and Shopify synced, and now you can start uploading products. Before we
our store branding and set a few things up in our shop so that things are perfectly ready for us when we actually do list products for sale on our online store. So step one is choosing a store name so that our branding can be really
cohesive and make sense to what we're selling. So, in my experience and what I would recommend for you to do in SEO purposes is think of a name that has to do with the product you're selling. So, for example, I'm selling phone cases.
That's the product that I want to sell. So, I'm going to say something along the So, I'm going to say something along the lines of case or cover phone [music] in my actual name of my store so that people know what I'm selling and then
when we connect our domain, which is our URL, it'll just all make sense. So what I did is I went to Chachi PT and I said I need a phone case store inspo for name still knew what I was saying and I want to sell all types of phone cases but
have a cool girl aesthetic. After using Chachi PT I came up with Coette case department. I took it from two different things that it said because Coat is kind of a vibe that I want to go for as I mentioned not a full niche more of a
vibe and I know that case means phone case. So, that's going to help with my SEO and to have people have a better understanding of what exactly I'm selling. If you already signed up and you need to change your store name like
I did, you can go over here to your Shopify AI assist, type change my store name, and it will automatically navigate you to exactly where you need to go to update your store details and name at the top. So, now that we have a store
things before we can list products in our store, which take just a few our store is fairly nicely branded. We're going to need to create our shop logo, our shop theme, and set up our custom domain so that customers know
where to find us. So to set up your domain, I recommend using store. This is because it actually tells your customers, hey, I'm a store and I'm selling products. And that's why also in your brand name, if you can say a little
bit about what your brand is, [music] plus having that dotstore domain, it can really make a difference in your conversions. Also with dots store you'll get 87% more traffic to your store because again people know that you're
selling products and two times more ranking on Google again for that same reasoning as it helps in your SEO using the word store so that Google knows you're actually selling these products. So to set this up I'm going to go to
dots store domain and type in my domain to see if it's available. And as you can celebrities and online businesses that are very successful that use dots store. it's something that a lot of people are using, including Mr. Beast, to have
their stores and actually have them convert. So, I'm going to go here in the search bar and I'm going to type for my domain using my brand's name. So, I domain using my brand's name. So, I named my brand Coette
Case Department.store. And then I'm going to hit search to see if it's available. Perfect. I do have my domain available, which is an incredible news. So that means it'll show up coatc case department.store which is really
great. And I could also do cocat case without department if I wanted to. And that's a major SEO going on in my title. Like SEO rankings are a huge deal on store. We're going to talk more about that later on the video, but it's a huge
deal to have coettecase.store in my Google search engine, right? So recommending this. So I'm going to add coettecase.store to my cart. And over here, it's going to go to proceed. And I actually have an incredible discount
code that will pop up for you to have you have massive savings. This is for a limited time, but you can get this domain for 99. And then if you want to have this privacy protection plan, that's $6, but if you don't have that on
here, you can also see it gives you the domain for only 99 for one year. I am going to do the privacy protection plan, but even if you don't, it is 99 for you discount to my audience. So, shout out to dots store for giving me that and to
because it's going to elevate your branding at a very low cost, which is great for new business owners. Next, I'm going to hit pay online to secure my if you don't, you can set it up in just a few steps. And then you can select to
get your 99 cent domain. So, now we have the rights to the domain on dots store. I'm just going to click Shopify, hit connect. Going to be a few steps here. and paste my domain. Kakstays.store. store. Hit next. I'm then going to click
I updated my DNS records because we just did this on ourstore account. And then connected, meaning if you type in ww.youd domain name [music] dot dotstore, it will come up and look professional for your buyers. I do have
a link for dotstore in the description that will get you that code to get you now. I highly recommend checking that out. So, dotstore [music] is in the description. Now that our domain's set up, let's do our next branding step,
which is our logo. Logos are really easy to create. I like to use KD because they have really great templates. On KD, select new project, and then you can go select new project, and then you can go to logo and on the left side, there's
templates that you can edit with. So, I'm going to go ahead and select the one that I like and then click on a template. Now I can input my own text [music] that I want to add here and then change
anything I want like the colors which you can do easily on the right side for color branding. [music] Then I'm just going to add a quick image here. I'm selling. [music] And I'm just going to
create this logo. Put it in the back. Add a little transparency. This is perfect before, but I feel like adding the image just added that extra element. And now we have a full cohesive logo that we can upload to our Shopify store.
Next on Shopify, before we upload our logo, we're going to pick our theme. [music] Head to your button on the left side that says online store. Here you'll different free themes to pick on Shopify. You can also demo any theme
that you like, or just hit try theme when you're ready. Once you've hit edit see this is where your logo goes. I'm going to go ahead and select that. Head over to the right and hit theme settings. And then here's where I'm
going to upload my logo. upload your logo here and it will show up in the top left now on your website. I would like to make mine bigger. So, it larger, and same with mobile. Then, this is all
stuff that you can edit later and add to. If you want to, you can play around you'll get a better idea and understanding of what things will look like, and you'll actually have images and headers to use. But I'm going to go
create products because we've already done our logo. We have our theme picked we're ready to add our products. Now, adding products is honestly the most fun part of this because you get to put your
own creativity into things to sell online. And what I recommend doing if you're trying to come up with some inspiration or you're not necessarily sure what types of designs to make, utilize things that we already have
available to see what people are buying. I recommend doing a search on Tik Tok selling. When I did this and typed in phone cases, I was met with a ton of different things that really inspired my interest on designs I wanted to make.
Now, okay, let's design our products. So, on Shopify under apps, we already have Printify fully installed in here. So, we can start creating and uploading our designs directly from here. On your dashboard, go to catalog. Under
accessories, you'll see a phone case button. And this will show you all of the phone cases that Printify has available. Printify is great because say lowest price, shipping, and easy mockups. And they'll also show you
what's trending and what is a bestseller. Something to also take note of is your price points here. They are going to have different price points depending on the different materials and the providers. So, it's something that
when we actually do our pricing. Let's go ahead and do the flexi case since that one's trending and the price is incredible. It's $10.48 to start selling this case on our online store. And if you have Printify Premium, it's only
$7.83. Printify Premium is Printify's membership that gives you 20% off of most products, meaning you can make more profit. I do have a code for that in the your store. If you're going to do that, you need to add it now before you
it's something to think about, but it gets you major savings because when someone pays you, you have to pay Printify the production price. So, price is, the more profit you can make. So, once you choose your product, you'll
be able to see all the information about it. You'll see the customer rating, the location, price, shipping, and the production time of how long it takes for Printify to make it. Once you're happy, you're going to click start designing.
Now, there's a lot on this page that you have to be aware of. First is the Printify print size area. Also on the right hand side by clicking this button, you'll be able to choose your variants. Because we're selling phone cases,
phone cases, you know, depending on the phone. So, you can see here any of the start selling. To avoid getting overwhelmed, I recommend offering the few most new phone cases because when people get new phones, what do they do?
versions that came out before that. I find that that's the best way to do this. Here we have our place that's ready for us to upload our design. And the reason I came to this page first is because we needed to look at our
variance and we needed to see the print area size. Question I get a lot is, "Hey Michaela, how do you know what the print area size is to how to size your design?" Your answer right here on the left, we can see the print area size is
left, we can see the print area size is 993x 1979 pixels. So, when we go to exact size we're going to create our design in. On KD, I'm going to select add new project, and it's going to give me here over on the side an option to
add my own size. [music] So, here I'm going to type the exact dimensions that I just found on my Printify account. Now, this exact artboard will take up our entire phone case design, which is really cool. Like I said, I like doing a
bit of research on Tik Tok or Pinterest. So here you can kind of see different ideas and things that you might keep seeing. These matchbox phone cases are really popular. Different patterns like martini, olives, stars, lemons. Kindle
you go over here and select the elements tab, you can search for anything you're tab, you can search for anything you're looking for. So I could type in stripes stripes if I want to add these to my phone case. So for an example, if I like
the way that this looks, [music] I can add this. and I already have a base for a phone case and I can add different designs on top of this if I wanted to. going to come in. And that's why looking and getting inspiration and resources is
so helpful, right? So, just completely depending on what you want to design. I want to do a little bit of like a dirty martini design. So, I'm going to start off by just taking these, duplicating them, and then filling the artboard.
so that it doesn't take too much of our time here. But overall, you get an idea time here. But overall, you get an idea of what exactly I'm trying to create.
show you guys that you don't need to be overthinking this process. A lot of people do, and I get why. like it can seem intimidating, but basically just try things out, see what looks good, see what doesn't, and just kind of go from
there. So now I have my first phone case design that I just made that took me about 7 minutes. And now what's cool is if I want to, I can duplicate this artboard and make something else off of that. Let me show you this cool AI
trick. So I'm going to click artboard, hit smartboard, and this is an AI version of this exact design I just made. So I can give it a prompt and say made. So I can give it a prompt and say keep this the same but make it [music]
keep this the same but make it [music] all blues and greens as the color palette. This takes 15 seconds to generate and in just a moment I'm not give me another version of the design that I just created. So check that out.
Now we technically have two different phone case designs in two different colors. And that's how I'm going to start creating and filling my store with different phone cases. So now I have a bundle of phone cases that I just
created and I can keep going and keep making more.
doing the same thing over and over to get a certain amount of designs. Now, think of when you start uploading your products because we already have six [music] phone case. So, it's six different phone cases that will show up
on my homepage. That's really cool. And so, you can just keep creating these. And I would highly suggest having a goal of 15 different products on your store when you launch. So, I'm going to go ahead off camera and make more products
put these designs onto our products. Okay, I am back. I just made my 15 designs. Some of them are more intricate, some are simple, some I used AI, but overall I have my 15 designs because they're all on the same artboard
[music] This is going to create a zip file for me of all the designs so that it's really easy to upload them onto products on Printify. This is funny. I just saw that when you go to download Printify on the Shopify app store, I pop
up. This is literally >> working hard, but something's holding you back. [music] That's what I mean. >> You're late. What is wrong with >> Wait, that's so cool. Now that we're back over to Printify within our Shopify
dashboard, all you have to do is open up your zip file. I can literally just drag your zip file. I can literally just drag and drop these designs directly into my artboard and see how they're fitting perfectly. Because earlier when I told
us to grab the design dimensions, I knew what I was talking about. So now we're going to hit preview and you will see your design on the product. So check it out. And Printify gives us the mockups for every single type of product. So if
I click the iPhone 17, you'll see that the iPhone 17 also shows my design. Um so on and so forth for the 16 because I created all these different variants and upload this one since it's already ready. It's already designed. It's ready
to go. I'm going to go ahead and hit save product. Now, on here, we're going showcase on our store. Printify pre-makes mockups for you so that the customer can see what type of phone case
just going to go through and see any of them that I may want to select and offer to show. And then we're going to move on to the other process. So, here's where you're going to pick the title, the name, the price of your product.
Printify does a great job of actually doing most of this process for you. This lot of time. They even have this improved listing which is AI. But as you can see, it already came up with a name for me. And now our listing is pretty
much done. So this is what's crazy about Printify giving all of you this automatically inputed. So your care instructions, your product features, all of these things. You can go in here and add them and change them up as you'd
like. But when we're in the first stages of building our brand, it's more already have our tags, which are important, our title, which is set our price. Printify gives you a really great idea of what you should be
optimize your price by clicking optimize, and it'll do it for you. And it'll also show your product cost and what your profit will be. This shows that I'll make $5.51 on every sale. Now, it's totally up to you what you want to
recommended prices I have found to be very helpful because they're actually paying for similar products and what people are actually converting with. So, I recommend not straying too far from these prices, especially when you're
selling more basic items. So, just make sure that you're at least making a 25% increase it depending on how you'd like everything is selected, everything looks good, and you can go ahead and hit
publish. Now, congratulations. You just uploaded your first product to your online store, and you can actually start doing this over and over again with all created. Now, what I really like about this in choosing a one product store is
you already just did that and now you already have all of your designs ready to go in a drag and drop system. Once everything looks good, you just do this And now you already know what you're
gold. you can just keep uploading and uploading and uploading. So, I've just gone ahead and uploaded five of the phone cases onto my Shopify store from Printify. So, on the left side, I'm going to go to products, and you'll see
that they all imported here, which is really cool because now on our online store, they should show up because we just added them. So, as you can see, they're still uploading the images, which sometimes can take a few minutes,
but they're starting to appear here, which is incredible. and we already can I'm only going to add these five products for now because your time is valuable and obviously it's like the same thing over and over of the listing
I'm just going to show you how you can make a few tweaks to your actual homepage so that way things look good and you can start actually doing your branding and making your website look good. So, on here I'm under online store
to just add in some more stuff. We already added our logo earlier, but what I'm going to do is, and do this, like I said, once you're already finished, is I'm going to delete this big banner. I don't have a photo for it right now. If
you do want to add a custom photo, you can go up to the right side, hit select image, and upload an image of a product or upload something of your own. What's are actually showing up here. So, just as an example, if I wanted that to be my
header image, it could be. I'm just going to delete that for now because it's not super relevant. I'm trying to make an easy website and get started. So, I just want it so someone comes to my site and boom, here's all my
products. And right here, I can add some text where aesthetic meets perfection. Then, I'm going to scroll down and here I can add in image. So, I'm going to I can add in image. So, I'm going to select an image from my library.
Okay. And this is all very customizable. So, as you can see, I'm just clicking on things, hitting select, and then importing images. And Printify gave us a lot of different mockups that we could use just by us uploading the products.
And this is also why I love Shopify because everything is just clickable and you can change it. Right now, Shop by collection doesn't exactly work for us because we only have like one collection as of now. We're selling one phone case.
types of phone cases, let's say you want to add the MagSafe case and then you want to add a tough case. That's when you would create your Shopify collections, which can be done on your homepage under collections. But right
now, we only have one product and that's what we're working with. So here I can switch this out for something else. So I can click this plus button and sit add section and then click something else to add. Another split showcase and just
After you've went ahead and you've edited these different things on your website, it will become more of a cohesive site that you can feel more proud of. And I really recommend playing around with this, adding your own unique
hang of the more that you mess around with it, but as you saw, it's drag and drop, adding in copy, and adding in different text. If you want to get more images for your actual website, I recommend a thing called placeit.net net
that you can get really great mockup photos for specific print on demand products. Add on your images just as we did on Printify, but then download the photos and use those on your website. Don't overthink your store in the
beginning stages. As I said, focus on getting your products uploaded and then work on the aesthetics after. Remember that when we're creating a one product store on Shopify, it's really easy to start as a beginner. And this tutorial
the whole thing yourself. If you have any questions, you can leave them below. But before I end this video, I want to talk to you quickly about marketing. Cuz I know that once you set up an online store like this, a huge question that I
